FINALLY, UndieBomber Gives Us Accurate Definition of “Moderate Muslim”
Islamic terrorist Underwear Bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab and Anthony Chambers, the lawyer now assisting Abdulmutallab in his legal defense, have an absurd new defense to trying to blow up a plane full of people. It’s hidden in a motion to get Abdulmutallab’s former lawyer, the execrable Miriam Siefer, to turn over his complete file to him. Check out the statement in item #6 in the latest court filing by Abdulmutallab & Chambers. And therein, I think we’ve finally found an accurate definition of the oxymoronic phrase, “moderate Muslim”: the bomb wouldn’t have worked.
Definition of Moderate Muslim: “The Bomb Wouldn’t Have Worked!”
They claim that the bomb–if it had worked–wouldn’t have actually blown up the plane. Abdulmutallab admits that he attempted to destroy the plane, but says that since it wouldn’t have worked, he should go free. If this were a successful legal defense, every failed bank robber, murderer, etc. would go free, and our jails would be empty. Regardless, intent, which he admits, is the key element here–NOT whether or not the bomb was dysfunctional.
The alleged attempt to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas day in 2009 may have been impossible, according to a new court filing in U.S. District Court in Detroit.
Defense attorney Anthony Chambers, who is serving as stand-by counsel to Umar Farouk Adbulmutallab, the Nigerian passenger accused of trying to blow up the airliner using hidden explosives in his underwear, is trying to get the complete file on his client from the federal defender’s office.
In a motion filed Monday, Chambers wrote that the file contains “expert information which disputes the government’s allegations and furthermore, that the alleged attempt to ‘destroy an aircraft’ was impossible!”
Um, good luck with that, chump. A few hundred innocent Americans who were on that plane almost lost their lives.

Debbie,
Good reporting again as usual.
Just one comment/correction. It’s section 5 not 6 that you’re referring to.
