VIDEO: Add Bill Maher to the “Blame Massacre on the Right” Crowd – Predictable

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s strange how someone can be so spot-on about Islam and Israel, yet so wrong and so utterly loathsome on everything else.  But, hey, you know about the broken clock’s rate of correctness:  twice a day.  Everything Bill Maher says here is sooooo predictable and such complete BS. As we all know, the shooter at the Tucson Safeway massacre, Jared Loughner, was a lot like Bill Maher–an atheist who liked to watch MSNBC and say obnoxious things–not like any of us on the conservative end of the spectrum.

Don’t forget that this is the man who wants the working man to pay upward of $5 per gallon, so we’ll use less fuel . . . while he and all of his guests ride limos to the set of his HBO show. Wouldn’t be surprised if he owns a gun, too. But, even if he doesn’t, he lives in fancy digs in La-La-land, probably even in a gated community or with security the average American could never afford.

He’s stupid, plain and simple.

Debbie, these LA, DC & NYC (I live in NYC BTW and planning on leaving here, not because it leans to the left, but because it’s too unafforable for me to own my property in NY & the state tax is insane, way to high) leftist are ruining and wrecking this country from top-to-bottom with their poison rhetoric. Your right Debbie, Jared Lougher is a Bill Maher wannabe and Lougher is one of Bill Maher’s ilk. Don’t expect this drugged up asshole Maher to know all the facts, here are the facts about this kid, he attended to a HS that was funded by Bill Ayers (one of Obama’s pals) that teaches communist & far left wing ideology, etc. This kid is a satan worshipper, marijuana smoker, 9/11 Truther, pro-Palestinian, burned the flag, read Das Kapital, Communist Manifesto, Mein Kampf, anti-american, anti-israel, etc., and that’s conservative according to this doofus Bill Maher?

Sorry Mr. Maher, all of that I mentioned leans towards the radical far left wing, and apparently Bill Maher is parroting the same talking points from leftist media. My hearts and prayers goes out to Ms. Giffords and those who died in this tragedy. I clearly put the blame on Jared Loughner’s parents for not raising him to be a better person and a productive person, instead they enabled him to be a slacker, pot-smoker, loser, etc. And here’s his link from youtube BTW:

A comedian is someone who makes you laugh. So what is Bill Maher? A Commode-ian?

Shredder on January 11, 2011 at 3:07 pm

To ‘Shredder’: Maher isn’t even remotely funny. Anyone who’s seen his “Real Time” show will note that any time he mouths the usual leftist mantras, doxies, platitudes etc., there is wild applause from the audience – and no laughter – meaning, they agree with the hard-left agenda he espouses. And again, no laughter. The typical stooge audiences who sit in the studio to see his shows are, if anything, even stupider than this smug, arrogant, know-it-all jerk often accuses conservatives of being (though in his world, “stupid” means “disagreeing with the leftist mantras”; notwithstanding what Debbie has written about Sarah Palin and her, shall we say, dimwitted followers).

ConcernedPatriot on January 11, 2011 at 3:16 pm

To show the extent of Bill Maher’s libertine leftist worldview that the likes of anarchist pothead and occult aficionado (among the other aspects brought up by others here) Jared Loughner swallowed whole without question, this is the same guy who just recently advocated the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” for the sole purpose of “seeing Rush Limbaugh’s head explode.” That’s right, kiddies. Absolutely no regard for America, her military, unit cohesion, what consequences would entail from this decision, etc. Support radical social engineering for the selfish benefit of a few radical activist special-interest groups out of pure, unadulterated, unmitigated spite. (Which would be no different than some slacker in the early 1950’s making it a point of joining the Communist Party USA for no other reason other than “to see Senator Joe McCarthy’s head explode.”) What does he have to worry about – a smug La-La Land elitist like Maher doesn’t have to worry about facing such a situation, himself.

Oh yes, and Maher supports legalizing marijuana (relevant given that aspect of Loughner’s, er, makeup). As Debbie often says, “Pot. Kettle. Black.”

ConcernedPatriot on January 11, 2011 at 3:10 pm

Unless I’m mistaken, didn’t the evidence found in his safe indicate that he was planning this by 2007? And we know who was spewing vitriol prior to then. (This theory further confirmed by his obsession with poor grammar…one of the left’s favorite points-of-attack against Bush.)

peter on January 11, 2011 at 3:19 pm

Another clown out there spreading these lies is Bill Press. A man you referred to as a gem. Do you still feel that he is good man? Based on what I see, he is a lowlife scum.

Blayne on January 11, 2011 at 3:27 pm

Bill “Mess” could be considered a “gem” – in the sense that some dummies consider cheap zirconium a “gem.” He’s only a “gem” in the sense of his lowlife scumminess.

And I see ‘Trevor’ has parroted the talking points of the Left on this. Duh, “The Communist Manifesto” which Loughner liked is not exactly right-wing. Punk band “Anti-Flag’s” “Red, White and Brainwashed,” which Loughner loved, is not exactly right-wing either. Furthermore, ‘Trevor’ doesn’t seem to think such statements of Obama’s as “get in their faces” and “take a gun to a knife fight” are incendiary and incitement to violence? Or, for that matter, Chris Matthews calling for violence against Rush Limbaugh? (Or Nina Totenberg’s wishing death upon Jesse Helms, etc.?) Or even Daily Kos’ despicable namesake Markos Moulitsas issuing a veiled threat against Giffords because on at least one issue she didn’t vote in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi? The Left is far more guilty of politically-motivated violence, sad to say.

ConcernedPatriot on January 12, 2011 at 12:13 am

Peter, absolutley correct, this kid has been in contact with Rep. Gifford since 2007, and guess what leftist, there was NO tea party movement back then & Sarah Palin was governor of Alaska and as NOT heard of by anybody else in the rest of the 49 states. And Blayne, Bill Press is an apparatus shill-hack for the Democrat party and the Obama administration. Don’t look for the exact facts coming from Bill Press’ mouth, he will go along with his fellow-travelling left wingers and their talking points about this incident. So far, none of us on the right are playing politics with this incident and blaming the left wing media for Jared Loughner’s actions, where blaming him for harming those innocent people and his parents for NOT raising him right, etc.

“A nation is identified by it’s borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on January 11, 2011 at 3:45 pm

Duh, I’m a little confused. I keep reading that Rep. Giffords was a centrist, respected by both the right and the left. If this is true, why wouldn’t the left have equal culpability? A centrist is equidistant from both ends of the spectrum.

Of course she wasn’t a centrist. She was a liberal like all the ‘blue dogs’. And of course what Maher wants to do is derail conservative timing and momentum. Very few Republican politicians want to enact a conservative agenda anyway, so this gives them a readymade excuse.

And with all the problems and concerns our country is facing, this type of idiocy — dishonest concerns about the tone of political debate — is the dominant issue of virtually all the major news media. The result of 90 years of dumbing down –it really started in the 1920s. I don’t think the conservatives really mind that much, because being attacked by the liberals gives them more credibility in the eyes of large parts of their narrow-thinking base.

The fact that Maher has a better position on Israel just shows the happenstance nature of these peoples’ views. No coherent worldview; just reacting impressionistically to various issues, even if he, and others like him, both liberal and conservative, are right on a few of them. I won’t even comment further on the liberals; with the conservatives, also no real worldview; very few challenge illegal immigration, the hypocrisy of the ‘peace process’, or the lunacy of our ‘leaders’ currently beseeching China to conduct joint military exercises. We are in sad shape…

Little Al on January 11, 2011 at 3:51 pm

Per ‘Little Al’s’ comment about ” . . . what Maher wants to do is derail conservative timing and momentum”: The Left (of which Maher is very much part and parcel) seems to be going by the exact same playbook as (or one not too dissimilar to) what Hitler and the Nazis went with in the wake of the 1933 Reichstag fire – or as has been aptly put, “not letting a good crisis go to waste.” And as has been proven time and again, what they couldn’t get at the ballot box, they seek to achieve through these specious and deleterious means.

ConcernedPatriot on January 12, 2011 at 5:16 am

Bill Maher’s mostly wrong… and on this subject he’s dead wrong. Its the modern version of the medieval blood libel. Conservatives are told they don’t have any rights because they allegedly poisoned the atmosphere of discourse in this country but not one of their critics has offered any real proof the Tucson Safeway shooter ever knew anything about conservatism or the Tea parties. The Big Lie can travel a long way before its stopped and can have deadly consequences. Fortunately, the majority of the American people understand its an attack on them and reject the media meme conservative free speech killed those five people in Tucson this past weekend.

That was really low and disgusting!

NormanF on January 11, 2011 at 6:03 pm

Bill Maher is a sick, sad joke of a human being. He is so riddled with intense self-loathing, that it manifests itself as hatred for every human being. Who cares about that, really, but what bothers me is this fugly DB has an audience. Who is dumb enough to follow this POS?

He is so nasty because he is mad at God for making him so bloody ugly. What is more ugly though than his hideous face is his attitude and personality.

There is NO WAY BM is a “True” (meaning in his own mind) Liberal. He is NOT a nice man. Right now, as with most Libs, it’s just about saving face because he has portrayed himself as a Liberal. We all know that most Liberals are NOT truely nice and/or kind. They reek of hypocrisy.

Don’t even get me started on his hatred of woman. I actually have more respect for fugly BM because he is at least OPEN about his using and disrespect of women. If you’re dumb enough to let the gross BM use you like a recepticle, that is YOUR problem.

He’s super-ugly, angry and un-funny. And a lot more dumb than he thinks he is. Howard Stern is no looker, but he is an Adonis compared to heinous BM!

Skunky on January 11, 2011 at 7:01 pm

Sarah Palin may be a lot of different things, but responsible for Saturday is absolutely ridiculous.

sharon on January 11, 2011 at 8:42 pm

O Debbie Debbie Debbie and the nut jobs on this website that follow you…..haven’t we had enough hatred and vitriol in the past few days? It was the sort of biased, bigoted and bs language that created the sort of nutters that wanna shoot our politicians. When are you and the deranged nutters who follow you going to stop?

jared was associated more with the right wing than any other political group. I have to laugh when people claim that him reading mein khampf proves this…..yeah rite

Trevor on January 11, 2011 at 11:59 pm

This ass clown is going to get his wish for $5 a gallon gasoline before the 2012 elections. Once again, an ill conceived Democrat policy is going to screw the very voters they claim to represent. This is another case of the Democrats screwing working man. Their recently enacted bank regulations are most punitive to the lower middle class and poor. Liberals are not targeting corporations or the “wealthy”. Their goal is to create a huge and permanent underclass.

Bonzer Wolf on January 12, 2011 at 12:39 am

Bill is right. The gunman was spouting anti-government rhetoric, called the government tyrannical, and wanted to bring back the gold standard. That sounds a lot like Glenn Beck and his cult. Loughner’s basement chalkboard probably does look a lot like Beck’s.

Mark on January 12, 2011 at 3:33 am

Yes, and the govenment is controlling our minds by controlling grammar. Yes, that is a big agenda item for Rush and Glenn. As for anti-government rhetoric, you might try listening to Mr. Maher between your bong hits. He is quite unhappy with the U.S. FYI.

    Worry01 on January 12, 2011 at 9:34 am

Bill Maher stopped being a comedian nearly twenty years ago. He now comes across as a very sour and bigoted man who lost his former talent and is now just flailing about to retain an ever diminishing audience.

Worry01 on January 12, 2011 at 9:30 am

And there’s a reason Maher’s current show is called “Real Time.” His views have become very politically correct, unlike the title of his previous show.

ConcernedPatriot on January 12, 2011 at 11:41 am

Bill Maher has come off as an effeminate, girlish, swishy, sissy boy with pre-adolescent behaviorisms and habits, myopic, sinister, macabre in his points of view, and hostile toward Conservative values, and overflowing with hate for those who follow a Christian faith, and other forms of belief in a higher power. He is also misinformed in his “science” facts regarding biology, Human Embryology, the development of living organisms, etc.

He is an example of a peson who rises to a level of some popularity and wealth based on little to no talent or intelligence.

William on January 12, 2011 at 2:50 pm

Plus, Maher supports every politically subversive cause, self-destructive behavior, differing forms of degeneracy, etc., for the express purpose of tearing down the moral fabric of our society and knocking down enough bricks to ultimately lead to the whole underpinnings of our civilization to totally collapse.

ConcernedPatriot on January 12, 2011 at 3:19 pm

I’d disagreed with him a lot over the years, but I knew Maher was a loser when he said that if a hostile nation launched nuclear weapons at the USA, he’d hope whoever was in charge wouldn’t launch a nuclear counterstrike, so that at least some of humanity would survive.

Gee, if everyone in the democratic world thought that way, there’d be no nuclear deterrent. Just let the bad guys run rampant, because we don’t have the nerve. If they start World War 3, they WIN! They can dominate the world.

Maher = Wuss

More Like Squeal Time on January 12, 2011 at 5:12 pm

My conclusion from reading many news accounts about this nut job is that he shot Congresswoman Giffords because she was NOT far enough LEFT for him…

Tom on January 12, 2011 at 7:20 pm

Maher looks like a pampered queer.

joesixpack31 on January 12, 2011 at 8:47 pm

There are atheists who hold many conservative viewpoints.

George on January 12, 2011 at 9:06 pm

And there are Marxists who attend church, but does that make them conservatives? No. Your logic really does not hold up.

    Worry01 on January 13, 2011 at 3:16 am

Leftists don’t deal in logic. They deal in stereotypes.

impeachthedude on January 19, 2011 at 11:29 pm

I think its cute that leftist think a right revolution would yield only one shot congresswoman, she didn’t even die.
