Christmas Leftover: Muslims Get Santa Banned Forever From MN School

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s sad that we had to find this out in January .  .  .  from a British newspaper, but Muslims in Minnesota succeeded in getting Santa removed from a Head Start program.  But, unfortunately, American newspapers and most mainstream media don’t think it’s important to show the Muslim intolerance for American  traditions.  Other than that, it was only covered on a local Minnesota TV station. It’s also ironic that the Head Start program in question is named for St. Peter.  I guess, perhaps, they should change that name ASAP, lest they offend Muslims.  Even the ACLU is on Santa’s side. (Last year, I told you about Santa visiting Muslim kids in Dearbornistan, but as I told you, that was just propaganda. The Muslim kids were there for free toys, subsidized by infidel taxpayers, not for “tolerance” of Christianity. This story below is the real deal.)

“Religion of Peace”ful Intolerance

Father Christmas has been banned from visiting a children’s nursery after a Muslim family complained.

For the last four years, Dennis Jackson has donned a beard and red-and-white costume to hand out presents at the St Peter’s Head Start Programme in Minnesota.

But this year he was told he wasn’t welcome after objections from a Somali family.

‘It kind of burnt me up,’ Mr Jackson said, after being banned by officials at the Head Start Programme.

They had told him ‘it was against some people’s wishes’ for him to make the half-hour appearances for two classes, for about three dozen children all aged three and four.

According to the regional coordinator for the Minnesota Valley Action Council, Chris Marben, at least one Muslim family complained of his visit.

When asked about banishing Father Christmas, Mrs Marben said: ‘We have Somali families in the programme. We’re respecting the wishes of families in the program.’

She added: ‘Part of our challenge in Head Start is providing an environment where young children from many different cultures can all feel comfortable.’ . . .

She indicated that more than one objection would be sufficient to waive an observance.

Mr Jackson said he has played Father Christmas with children from other cultures before and they were fully comfortable with him – it’s just, in his opinion, some parents who are being unreasonable.

‘They’re not respecting the majority,’ he said. ‘My feeling is [objecting parents] can take their kids out of class for half an hour and let the other kids enjoy it. They should sacrifice, not rule.’

Exactly. Whenever you hear “tolerance” preached by Muslims, remember how tolerant they are of everyone else. As in, not at all.

I listened to this newsclip four times — to be sure of what I write here — and I’m certain I never heard a reference to the complainants as “Muslim” families, only as “Somali” families. Who’s the bigger coward? The network for fudging the real issue, which they never really got down to? Or the ACLU guy for pretending not to understand what the issue is? Do you think these Somalis are Christians? As a Jew, I am flabbergasted at how Christians are crumpling so easily before Yishmael. Why didn’t Head Start tell the Muslim … uh … Somali families to get a head start back to Mogadishu, before Santa Claus came to corrupt their little Muslim … uh … Christian … uh … American children with visions of sugar-plum fairies? To be blessed enough to get from Mogadishu to the US, and then — lucky to be here — they’re gonna force their will on their new homeland? Outrageous beyond description. They must think their hosts are soft as marshmallows. If the ACLU won’t take the case, what’re the “Somali” families gonna do? Pay for a lawyer and sue Head Start? So let ’em! Not likely, and if they did, isn’t anything worth a knockdown fight to the Christian community? And don’t tell me Santa’s not a universal Christian symbol, of course he is. Where is it going to stop? Will it take until they’re banging down the doors of churches before American Christians wake up? How can they not know what they’re up against? Talk to the evangelicals who support Israel. They’ll tell you!

This is all part and parcel of the multicultural movement. We simply have lost our country, our backbone and our will to defend ourselves.

Why do Uneducated Facist provide Islamophobia, lie and Hate?

For years, jews in american group are brainwashing cristians, it is time to fight against jews and isreal, muslims must open political war to agains jews in the world.

halcyon on January 6, 2011 at 1:34 pm

Yea, its all the “evil” jews. way to make a credible argument, didnt come off as antisemetic at all….

Asher Cordova on January 6, 2011 at 2:13 pm

Why don’t you attend ESL classes? As for brainwashing, what would you know of it since you lack anything to wash yourself? Jews are not creating a problem here, but bigoted Muslims who wish to impose their religious and cultural phobias on others. If you so loathe the Western country you are in, why not go back home? Or, does your faith stop at the point where you benefit personally from the infidel hypocrite?

Walter on January 6, 2011 at 10:07 pm

Only ONE complaint?

Could this have been an excuse for some PC Head Start staffer to nix Santa Claus?

What Somali traditions do we want to emulate?

Sam Adams on January 6, 2011 at 1:36 pm

St. Peter’s Headstart? What’s next for those muslims, complain about the school’s insensitivity towards them for naming the school after a Christian saint? Does the world, and some Americans, view the United States as a dumping ground, a place that is still developing so come on over and stake your claim.

The U.S. was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, whether one agrees or not, that is a fact. I don’t see mohammed atayollah, or hakmir dokahkah, signatures on the Declaration of Independence, or the Constitution. And, remember, most of the great universities, such as Harvard and Princeton, started out as Christian theological centers of learning. Imagine where we would be as a nation if muslims had indeed been involved in the development of our country.

Wake up America!

QTD on January 6, 2011 at 2:04 pm

Well for one I do not agree with anyone group being allowed to step in and make changes that affect others in a negative way. But as you said this country was founded on “Judeo-Christian principles”. Actually this isn’t completly true. I
m Half Cherokee Indian, and this country was not Founded it was taken over by the people brought over her on Columbus’s ships-(Who might I add were prisoners- you know thiefs, murderers, rapist and so forth). As much as I hate to see people hide behind their “Muslim” believes to get their way. Its no different then the so called “Pilgrims” hiding behind “Christian” Believes when they took this land from My ancestors and all Native Americans with NO RESPECT for our beliefs……

BlackWolf on January 6, 2011 at 4:42 pm

If the muslims had invaded, none of you would be left because they would have cut all your heads off. Or maybe you would have preferred the chinese? Every race of people around the world has been conquered at some time during history. Your own peoples were conquering OTHER tribes. So now what do you have to say?

Fed Up on January 6, 2011 at 7:59 pm

The school should have said Santa will be here on this day and this time, if you do not want to participate, keep your child home that day!

Sal on January 6, 2011 at 2:14 pm

Why wasn’t there any push back from the non muslim families who had children in the school. Are the Christian and Jewish families just going to roll over and allow one or two muslim families to dictate to them what are acceptable customs? I think all the families involved in this travesty should ban together and buy this muslim family a one way non refundable ticket back to Somalia.

kenny komodo on January 6, 2011 at 2:42 pm

Dernon, when Jews make complaints about Christian symbols, do you think the Christians are crumpling to the Jews?

systemic failure on January 6, 2011 at 2:43 pm

Halcyon,

Just what is a “cristian” anyway? I’ve never heard of them. And there’s a country called isreal? My geography is pretty bad but is it located next to Orfalse? If your butchered attempt at English wasn’t filled with such blatant anti-semitism, I’d think it was hilarious.

Steve on January 6, 2011 at 4:29 pm

A very good friend of mine has a son who lives near the Somali enclave in Minneapolis. He frequently hears gun shots, finds bullet holes in his walls and hears about vicious clan and gang feuds.
I have no idea why he continues to stay there.
I have no idea why large numbers of these people were granted asylum in the 1990’s. It certainly wasn’t for services rendered in Mogadishu since no services were rendered.
The violence is such a problem that ICE has been trying to disperse parts of the community to places like Greeley CO and some cities in Tennessee (the problem just metastasizes).
I rather doubt Head Start officials were trying to be culturally sensitive – they were most likely scared sh*t#ss as are most of the diversity crowd.

Heads up.
You do not want government officials resettling people like this in your community. Stop it in the planning stages. If ever there was a justification for “by all means necessary” this is it. If our government is too cowardly to deal with monsters then we will have to do it ourselves.

WTF?!?! One Scuzzlim Family complains about Santa and he’s banned?? F#@$ them! Wouldn’t it be nice if some Jews or Christians complained to Head Start that they don’t want the school observing any Scuzzlim “Holidays”like Ashura or The Hajj because of the vile, disgusting traditions that they are and the incompatibility of our own, American Values.

Yiddish Steel on January 6, 2011 at 4:43 pm

The somalis don’t belong here in the first place. They don’t respect women, they don’t assimlate, they want everything changed to their liking WHY ARE THEY HERE EXCEPT for some liberal agenda to further destroy our judeo-christian culture. They are yet another drain on our social services and provide cheap labor to undercut the American workers’ wages.

Fed Up on January 6, 2011 at 7:55 pm

That IS the $64M question: WHY ARE THEY HERE?

Not Ovenready on January 6, 2011 at 10:19 pm

The Islamic gutter snipes could burn in Hell for all I care. Maybe Midrassas across the world should be forced to allow Santa to come visit them.

American Sabrah on January 7, 2011 at 1:37 am

These Somali’s that the State Department continues to foist on unsuspecting communities are some pretty backwards people. Most have never even seen toilet paper before coming here. Why should we let these cultural misfits deprive our young children of a visit from one of Santa’s helpers? Trick question; we should NOT. Give the little bastard a lump of coal and tell his parents to STFU!

So one moslem somalian family complains and they ban Santa.

Where are the spineless Christian families with their complaints? Have Christians lost their brains and balls completely? Looks like they are just happy singing kumbaya and holding hands with these mozzies, er somalians?

Anonymous Twit on January 8, 2011 at 12:02 pm

Wow, a muslim family turned down a free handout. Amazing.

So out of three dozen other families not one of them maned up and called the school on this BS. Not so amazing.

ender on January 9, 2011 at 7:47 am

So, if any one of those families complained about the Somalis wearing a headscarf around the program, they would be banned? I certianly hope so.

TP Smith on January 9, 2011 at 8:36 am

We had an unexpected Santa visit at our Jewish daughter’s public special education preschool. As Jews we had taught her,”Santa is a pretend man whom Christians pretend brings toys to their children.” I was afraid she would blow his cover, luckily her speech was so bad none of the other kids understood her.

Do you want any child asking why the pretend man was there? Keeping Santa away from Headstart and public school programs protects Christian children from disbelief.
