ACTION ALERT: Make Calls re- ICE Princess Judiciary Hearings, Thursday Morning

By Debbie Schlussel
Looks like the Senate Judiciary Hearings for The ICE Princess were postponed ’til this Thursday Morning. How quaint that the witch of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Julie L. Myers, will face the Senate just after Halloween concludes.
As I noted before, this is our second bite at the apple (the first nibble was with the gushing and clueless Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government) on this incompetentette who hung out a couple weeks ago at the Hezbollah Social Club with Immigration Defrauder and “former” Islamic Terrorist Imad Hamad and helped honor judges who deep-six the good cases hard-working ICE agents make. Remember, she’s keeping the hearings hush-hush, because she knows she has lots of legitimate detractors.

The sad fact to this gut-wrenching, fatalistic tale of woe is that we’re going to end up with her anyway. With Bush on his way out the door and the election year coming up, they really don’t give a damn who’s running the show because it will all change when the next cabinet comes in.
I can only hope the American people wake up and make their voices heard at the next election. It’s hard to say who will get the nod but if the libs are voted in, watch for things to get far more f**ked up than they are at present.
I was hoping to hang a little while longer until I retired but, in light of the fiasco this agency has become and the incompetent, arrogant twits we stuck with for management, I may have to pull the plug sooner. I’m fed up with this BS and no amount of extra money is worth the headaches and the attack on my intelligence and integrity.

I must agree with “1shot” … I think we are going to get her, anyway, and many in ICE are now resigned to the tragic end of this clownish fiasco.
Long gone on this site are the days when people actually care and post relevant comments on issues plauging the agency and its management – like someone said on a previous post, people have learned (much like a beaten child), it’s like “throwing sand against the tide”.
Now, like “1shot”, all people are looking forward to is either another job, retirement or, if neither is possible, a paycheck every 2 weeks. What a tragedy – so many good people and so much potential mired and wasted in mismanagement and political agendas.

The Myer’s confirmation, one way or the other, isn’t going to affect morale. For years, former Customs employees, legends in their own minds, have been very unhappy, for which I cannot blame them. Unfortunately, his unhappiness needs company, so the daggers keep flying, trying to bring everyone down to a few their “roll over and die” spirits. The volume of complaints has fallen off recently because there has been more mobility as the biggest twits continue to concentrate on themselves and their careers. Morale might be low, but how to you explain the selfishness, egocentricism, and pathology of hate? You get one shot at your career and that doesn’t mean make it all about you, try smiling once in awhile. Quit making retirement the prize, because you’ll end up alienating your fishing buddies with stories they don’t care about.

Is there a single DHS employee (other than the psycho known as EVS) who is willing to come on here and defend the agency known as ICE?

NDN on October 30, 2007 at 6:52 pm

Debbie,
The propoganda against the ICE Queen doesnt matter, she will be confirmed. Those in this agency have finally realized that we are doomed from the beginning and it has be been set up this way. Marcy Forman and her band of idiots are here for the long haul also! People are recieving GS-15 pay who have never arrested anyone (SAC Minneapolis) and numerous others who have never served as first line supervisors (new ASAC San Diego)! Thats ok though, I will be retired in the very near future and this agency will be headed by those who have no experience, and those who could not get vetted for employment with my former agency prior to the merger. Traci Lembke is finally being removed and her job being announced, one more gone! One has to wonder how Marcy survived the law suit she lost and still has a job! Oh as far as Lembke, ask her about the abortion of a computer system her and Jerry Williams were involved in obtaining from Oracle. Werent Jerry and Traci lovers? Ah another lead for you to follow!

For the first time in a long career with government enforcement, I haven’t a clue what would make a difference one way or another.
It is like standing in the middle of a highway and watching cars crash on either side of you. There is a silence and moment of reflection before you approach the wreckage, “don’t move, your going to be o.k.”
