Sean Vanity Alert: Will Hannity Rip Off My Questions to Al-Husainy?; Hannity.com Bans Readers Over Plagiarism of Schlussel

By Debbie Schlussel
**** UPDATE #2: A reader informs me that nationally syndicated radio talk show host Michael Savage is the one who coined the name “Sean Vanity.” And, unlike Vanity, I give full credit. ****
**** UPDATE: Well, Hannity didn’t get a chance to rip me off more because Al-Husainy yelled and then hung up on Sean. That’s good. I hate to be a robbery victim, four days in a row. Three is enough. Hilarious that Hannity ended the segment with, “I report, you decide.” No, he didn’t report a thing. ****
Uh-oh. Plenty of readers are e-mailing me that Sean (Hannity) Vanity, Plagiarist Extraordinaire, is having Imam Husham Al-Husainy on his radio show in the 4:00 p.m. hour.
Damn! Why did I post that critique of Vanity’s weak interview with Al-Husainy last night and my 25 questions I would have asked him? You know for sure that Sean will rip them off from me. This site, after all, is the Official, Uncredited Hannity Show Prep Site. Taking bets from readers on how many of my questions for Al-Husainy Sean The Plagiarist Hannity will steal from me.
I will listen to see how much more he rips off from me. You can bet he will. Because without it, he’s got nothin’. It’s beyond hilarious that he calls himself “the right wing poster boy for what’s right and true in America.” Since when is theft & plagiarism “right and true”?

How Much More Will Sean Hannity Steal From Schlussel?

And Reader Paul tells me that the chat portion of his site, Hannity.com, has been erasing threads where plenty of my readers (a/k/a Sean Vanity’s former, now-disenchanted fans) are posting about how Sean ripped me off. All of those readers are getting banned for the reason of “Contempt of Host.” Yes, most thieves and plagiarists are, indeed, contemptful–not embarrassed–when they get caught.
Here’s what Paul writes:

THOUGHT YOU MIGHT GET A KICK OUT OF THIS (likely old news):
I searched Sean Hannity’s website looking for comments regarding the
obvious and noticed nothing. My assumption was they’re deleting any
negative posts.
So in an attempt to be objective I started a Thread called
“Controversy”.
Being I didn’t save it it said something along the lines of:
——————————————————————-
THREAD: CONTROVERSY
“I just signed up for this forum and noticed no postings about Debbie
Schlussel and her complaints against Sean? Curious if they’re being
removed or I’m simply missing them? It’d be interesting to hear Sean’s comments regarding the issue.”
———————————————————-
ONE PERSON REPLIED AND THEY SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF:
No one other then Debbies family and friends pay any attention to her.
———————————————————-
I THEN REPLIED BACK:
Evidentally Sean does and he’s not a family member. Rush gives her
credit for her work. I’ll save you further embarassment by not mentioning others. Let’s stick to the Sean issue. Your reply was cute but flawed.
————————————————————-
All within a half hour I checked back again and I couldn’t access the site. Check out the message I got:
You have been banned for the following reason:
contempt of host
Date the ban will be lifted: Never
Hannity.com

Big fan [of Schlussel, no longer Hannity],
Paul

Vanity is a pathetic and very, very shallow, boob.
He showed himself again and again, nothing more than a Bush aparatchick.
Unfortunately, he gives the GOP a bad name…

People like him are responsible of the “stumpin'” we got in November 2006.

Debbie: I was curious, what did Tom Marr have to say about this situation with Vanity? I missed the time slot as you sprung it on me so late. I checked at 8:15 am and no mention so I went surfing.

The following is an email I just sent to Hannity:
Sean, you are losing it! I’ve listened to you long enough to respect you, to a degree, but this Debbie Schlussel thing might be your un-doing.
I noticed you don’t have a link to her on your “favorite links” home page. I would like to hear your side of the “story”. Care to respond?

Do I understand this correctly? Hannity, who champions free speech while complaining that liberals censor conservative speech, is doing exactly what he accuses liberals of doing?

Boycott Watch on February 9, 2007 at 5:36 pm

I AM A BAD AMERICAN!
dam…banned. Oh well you have to be upset if you respect the person who banned you. It felt like the time I was banned at Ummah.org of harrasing them over the Quran. 🙂

I predict that if Hannity doesn’t repent on this–he will be heading down the tubes. The truth moves quickly in the blogosphere. Sean wake up and do right bro!!

You mean he talks about something other than Anna Nicole Smith? Every time I checked “FOX Snooze” its all Ana, all the time.

CornCoLeo on February 10, 2007 at 12:07 am

al Hussainy to al Hannity (in his best F Lee Levin impersonation): “GET OFF THE PHONE, YOU BIG DOPE!!!”

Infidel Pride on February 10, 2007 at 2:18 am

You know I used to have respect for this man, but Sean Hannity has lost all respect I had for him after this suituation. It just shows what money can do to a person.

Squirrel3D on February 10, 2007 at 2:44 pm

Sean was great when he’d fill in for Rush during the Clinton administration. Then he got a syndication deal – He was better still.
Then when there were serious doubts about ‘WMD’s’ in Iraq, Sean turned a corner. He was a die-hard supporter while his friend, Tony Snow, expressed his doubts in a true gentleman/patriot fashion.
As an Irishman, I’m disappointed with Sean.
Sean, please go back to your core beliefs. You are on the verge of being fired!

Deb, Hanity and Fox in general are the lackey for the Bush administration. I mean, check his out everyone:
http://www.newshounds.us/2006/02/24/prince_alwaleed_bin_talal_rupert_murdoch_and_the_united_arab_emirates.php
and from World Net Daily (I know you don’t get along with WND Deb but this story is interesting)
http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=47771
So one wonders how a “conservative”, “God-loving”, “Israel-loving” Fox news could give money to a known terrorist organization that wishes to kill the Zionists so that Fox News employees Steve Centanni and Olag Wiig can be set free?
http://tailrank.com/837421/Fox-News-reporters-freed-for-$2-million
And
http://americablog.blogspot.com/2006/11/someone-allegedly-paid-terrorist.html
Deb and the Bloggers here, this is serious and the news folks from Fox are betraying not only Americans by giving to Hamas but killing the good people of Israel all in the name of Rupert Murdoch et al wanting to make even more money. Conspiracy theory? Both the left and right bloggers are in agreement.

I am also very dissapointed with Sean. Of course he’s no Rush, but he has been good on some things. I just can’t believe he won’t make good on this with Debbie. It’s quite obvious that this is Debbie’s work/story. I have paid close attention and this is a moral issue. How can he take the moral high ground on anything if he is not practicing it himself? His image was very good prior to this (IMO) and now it is definitively tarnished. Very sad. I hope he makes this right with you, Debbie!

CarpeDiem on February 10, 2007 at 7:43 pm

sorry last post typo..”disappointed”
feralcat9-I like your all of your posts, sadly all true!

CarpeDiem on February 10, 2007 at 7:54 pm

I remember thinking for the longest time that Hannity’s shows were never really worthwhile because they were not particularly insightful—everything you hear on his show can easily be heard elsewhere.
Now I know the reason, he is literally derivative. He should at least be apologetic about being the Readers Digest version of the “conservative viewpoint.”

JSobieski on February 10, 2007 at 11:55 pm

ROFL at the “newhounds” links. I was banned there for questioning and attempting to debate those commies when Israel was bombing the Lezboallah knuckleheads. I emailed that mary therese and I was told people who were banned, and had their postings deleted (DELETED), were operatives for the RNC. LOL. Me? Hahaha.
This Vannity shiite calls to mind some book written about farm animals by some guy named Orwell.
Pawn Vannity hahah. What do you expect from a vidiot with an ABC(Disney) contract AND FauX news (incidentally which has rapidly ((since the ’06 elections)) shifted to far less “news” coverage for uberslob Anna, global swarming, and more “around the world in 80 seconds” type stories. Not to mention the all Billary all the time crap. oh, and their fornication with their non-candidate Guiliani. Savage is correct…TWO CARD MONTE.
*ring ring*
“You’re a great American!”
“No, you’re a great American!”
“No, no. YOU’RE a great American.”
“No, no my great American friend. YOU are the great American!”
*4 minutes of the same*
“Well, Pawn. It was a great American phone call.”
“Thanks my great American listener. You are a great American for calling me…a great American host of a great American show.”
“Bye great American…”
*3 minutes everday is all one can take*
Get ’em Debbie!

Haha!! You guys are funny. feralcat’s on a roll! Sean screwed up royally with this one. Eh, I’ve been turning hi off lately anyway; jsut gives me an excuse to keep it off. I’m getting tired of Fox News also. The same stuff all the time . . .

rad_con62 on February 11, 2007 at 11:42 am

I was banned from Hannity about 2 years ago for making a disparaging comment about Madeline Albright! I also got the BANNED forever message but now that I just got a new computer I decided to rejoin under a new name because my ISP number would be different. In my very first post, which came directly from a USMC message board (my husband is a USMC Vietnam Vet) about 3 different people at Hannity board warned me that I would be banned if I didn’t edit out comments from the Marines that were
not very kind to John Kerry. Now the subject of my thread was How the Marines viewed Kerry’s trip to Iraq. I had edited out any 4-letter words but I was shocked that I would have to edit what the Marines actually had to say about Kerry.
Hannity board has changed for the worse since I remember it from a few years ago. I’ve learned that now there are some Liberal moderators and they come down very hard on people who talk about Muslims in a negative way. I figured out that if you say Muslim terrorists rather than just Muslims, you can talk about how evil they are but anything that hints at wanting to
kill Muslims in general is a bannable offense.
Personally I find the Hannity board moderators like a gestapo
group, drunk with power. But even worse are the tattletales
who spend most of their time on the Talk to the Moderator forum, trying to rat people out for breaking one of the “rules.”
As far as I can see, the Controversy thread is still up so if you would like me to monitor it or say anything on your behalf Id be happy to do that .I’ve pretty much figured out how to say things in a way that won’t get me banned.
I’ve loved Debbie’s site for some time now and only just figured out how to register to comment.

Hey Horselady, Bill Clinton had a talk with Rupert Murdoch and now they’re kissing up to the Dems. My how powerful the Bilderburgs are

KOAJaps on February 11, 2007 at 4:45 pm

Hey KAOJaps, Murdock declared his support for ol’ elephant legs
(Hillary) over a year ago so nothing would surprise me.

horselady on February 12, 2007 at 2:12 am

Dear Ms. Schlussel,
Perhaps when that malinger, Jessica Lynch, gives up her Bronze Star, Prisoner of War and Purple Heart medals, she should give them to you.
Spinal injures and fractures to the extremities suffered in time of war can not hold a candle the injury Vannity is inflicting on to a person such as yourself… pretending you simply do not exist.
Reduced to posting as a common, faceless member and then getting BANNED!
My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss of membership and eternal obscurity.
Don
