Neither one was in VN long enough to have a clue. Most American soldiers were truly concerned about the Vietnamese and what their prospects were for a decent life. I spent my year there and know that everyone that I was around would have frog marched any soldier off had he done far less than that lie. I personally escorted one soldier to the prison at Long Bin (sic) after he had been convicted of theft. He had taken blankets (that they hand wove and traded) from some villagers.
And then these canard repeating rascals just echo each others lies time after time.
