BREAKING: Suspicious Devices from Yemen Targeted Chicago Synagogues; I Called it: “Dry Run”
Earlier today, I told you that federal authorities were sweeping three UPS cargo planes in the U.S. from Europe and a UPS Truck in Queens after suspicious devices were allegedly detected in cargo. I said that even if there was nothing to the packages that it was likely a dry run. And I was right. Moreover, the devices, which were dry-run fake bombs from Yemen, were addressed to Chicago synagogues. **** UPDATE: Packages were also found in Dubai. **** Hey, it’s our friends in the “Religion of Peace” . . . AGAIN #3,178,122.
A suspicious package containing a toner cartridge with wires and powder was found during routine screening of cargo in the United Kingdom, prompting authorities to scour vehicles in the United States on Friday. Planes in Philadelphia and Newark, N.J., were being swept, as was a truck in New York City.
Officials were investigating whether the suspicious packages were a dry run for a mail bomb plot.
CNN reported that sources believe the devices that came from Yemen were intended for Chicago synagogues. . . . American intelligence had been informed within the last 24 hours about devices on flights from the Middle East intended for synagogues in Chicago.
During a basic security screening process in the United Kingdom, officials found a suspicious item on the cargo plane, according to a U.S. government official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing investigation, the Associated Press reported.
U.K. officials discovered that a toner cartridge on the plane had been manipulated and found wires attached to it and white powder. Tests on the device came back negative for explosives, according to a law enforcement official who also spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the investigation.
Concerns about the possibility of similar and potentially dangerous devices shipped elsewhere prompted officials to check other cargo planes headed to the U.S. . . .
In New York City, police responded to reports of a possible explosive in a UPS at the Queensboro Bridge, top NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said. Browne said the package was removed and was being examined in Brooklyn.
I guess, since I wrote about this, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar will walk out on me and AP and CNN, etc. After all, this wasn’t the Muslims, right? ‘Cuz everyone in Yemen is Protestant, right? And, to quote the absurd Whoopi/Caryn Johnson, “Are you saying that Muhammad Ali did this? ‘Cuz he’s a Muslim.”

It shows cargo delivery services can be compromised. UPS, Fed-Ex and DHL should institute a policy not to deliver third party packages.
Any packages would have to be ordered by the customer. That’s no guarantee of anything going amiss but its hardly likely any one is going to order a good from Yemen.
Which by the way is Al Qaeda territory as we know from its slick magazine inspire.
They are constantly probing for loopholes to attack us. They may not succeed with this one if cargo delivery policies are tightened like I advocate but they won’t give up.
Evil never does. And there will be a next time. Count on it.
