Old School Music Video of the Day: “Oy, It’s So Humid”

By Debbie Schlussel
The 1990 “2 Live Jews” parody song and video (from the album, “As Kosher as They Wanna Be“) stands the test of time (first video). Somebody else even thinks it should be the Al Gore theme song (“An Inconvenient Schmuck”), given his constant “global warming” whining (second video-just okay, but great concept).
Remember, it’s not the heat. It’s the humidity:

Classic.
I love the New York Yiddish accents in that video. Nowadays, the accents you hear in The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, & Staten Island are something out of a Turd-World swamp.

You made me laugh, Debbie! Thanks!!
Sadly, the great Wolfie’s restaurant @ 21st St. & Collins Ave. is no more. It closed down some time time in the 90s. A little tin bucket of pickles bathed in a light brine at every table! Wolfie’s pic: http://www.jankaulins.com/p218.html
Also sadly, Miami Beach is less Jewish than it was in the 20th C. More Jewish than most places, but just not the same.

The really sad thing is I had this cassette in my little convertible when I was in college in Boca Raton in 1990. Thank you for making me feel really old.
