In India, Cheat in Chess; Get Swiftly Punished

In our contemporary world, where assorted cheating–such as plagiarizing–is rewarded, kudos to the All India Chess Federation.
They caught Umakant Sharma cheating at chess–using his cell phone Bluetooth (which he sticthed in to his hat) and communicating with accomplices outside the chess hall. He was one of the top chess players in India and the second seed in an upcoming major Indian chess tournament.
The Indian Chess Federation banned him for 10 years, The Hindu of India reports. Checkmate.
