Barack Hussein Obama: Once a Muslim, Always A Muslim

By Debbie Schlussel
**** UPDATE, 01/30/08: EXCLUSIVE – Obama’s Nation of Islam Staffers, Edward Said & “Inflexible Jews” Causing Mid-East Conflict: An Obama Insider Reveals the Real Barack
**** UPDATE, 01/25/07: Barack Hussein Obama’s alleged debunking of Islamic background raises even MORE questions. ****
**** UPDATE, 01/19/07: Looks like Hillary Clinton’s camp agrees with me and has dug up more info that confirms my suspicions about Obama and his Muslim background, including his attendance at a Wahabbi (ie., extremist Sunni) Madrassa (Islamic religious academy). Hillary’s camp says Obama is covering up his Muslim past. Why? ****
Many months ago, readers began asking me whether Barack Obama is Muslim. Since he identifies as a Christian, I said, “no,” and responded that he was not raised by his Kenyan father.
But, then, I decided to look further into Obama’s background. His full name–as by now you have probably heard–is Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. Hussein is a Muslim name, which comes from the name of Ali’s son–Hussein Ibn Ali. And Obama is named after his late Kenyan father, the late Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., apparently a Muslim.
And while Obama may not identify as a Muslim, that’s not how the Arab and Muslim Streets see it. In Arab culture and under Islamic law, if your father is a Muslim, so are you. And once a Muslim, always a Muslim. You cannot go back. In Islamic eyes, Obama is certainly a Muslim. He may think he’s a Christian, but they do not.

barackobama.jpgislamiccrescent.jpg

Then, there are the other items in his background. As best-selling author Scott Turow wrote in Salon, Obama went to a Muslim school for two years in Indonesia. His mother, Anna, married an Indonesian man (likely another Muslim, as Indonesia is Muslim-dominated and has the largest Islamic population in the world).
And Obama has a “born-again” affinity for the nation of his Muslim father, Kenya, and his Kenyan sister. (Although Kenya is largely Christian, it has a fast-growing Muslim population that has engaged in a good deal of religious violence and riots against Christians. And Kenyan courts will apply Sharia law, when the participants are Muslim.) Wrote Turow:

Obama’s father died in a traffic accident in Nairobi in 1982, but while Obama was working in Chicago, he met his Kenyan sister, Auma, a linguist educated in Germany who was visiting the United States. When she returned to Kenya in 1986 to teach for a year at the University of Nairobi, Obama finally made the trip to his father’s homeland he had long promised himself. There, he managed to fully embrace a heritage and a family he’d never fully known and come to terms with his father, whom he’d long regarded as an august foreign prince, but now realized was a human being burdened by his own illusions and vulnerabilities.

So, even if he identifies strongly as a Christian, and even if he despised the behavior of his father (as Obama said on Oprah); is a man who Muslims think is a Muslim, who feels some sort of psychological need to prove himself to his absent Muslim father, and who is now moving in the direction of his father’s heritage, a man we want as President when we are fighting the war of our lives against Islam? Where will his loyalties be?
Is that even the man we’d want to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency, if Hillary Clinton offers him the Vice Presidential candidacy on her ticket (which he certainly wouldn’t turn down)?
NO WAY, JOSE . . . Or, is that, HUSSEIN?

I can actually say that this Information Of Obama being Muslim Is false!! His father is from Kenya witch was a British colonial country. Also Obama’s family are part of the Luo tribe who were the first tribe to be part of British Ruling. Religious affiliation in Kenya are mostly Cristian Protestant 45%, Roman Catholic 25%, Islam 10%. The People who are Islamic are actually Indians from India who’s ancestors settled. So if Obama is Muslim then BUSH is a Jew, Oh I forgot he is. I see alot of negative comments on here none of witch have any type of constructive critasisum. Wicth is why no one in the world respects us anymore and trust me I travel. If we are to be a nation that sets standards a nation who people respect around the world then we need someone like Obama and Less people being negative. Other wise this country is doomed…..Obama is a sign to the world that the USA is evolving I hope you don’t get left behind in your ignorance. God bless peace and Love

Oh And by the way we talk about Muslim faiths being hard and brutal but The Church is the most corruptest organization in the world!! For almost 1000 years after Christ died it has being takeing over nations and Killing all who don’t believe in it. America was meant to be the place where the English church had no influence and people could believe in any faith. Europe and the UK has been terrorized for nearly 70 years!! By the IRA You don’t see them bombing everyone and acting scared. If you let terrorists and the media scare you to think the world is crashing down then they have won in there goal to Terrorize you!!

Debbie Schlussel you sound like a bright ladie please get your facts right and find out the truth for your self and get out of Hilary’s butt hole. Her Husband might as well be running if Hilary is so ready why is Bill the Only one talking?

John on January 19, 2008 at 12:54 am

Debbie, I disagree with you that once a Muslim, always one. The bible never excluded ANYONE
to come to HIM (Y’shua – Hebrew name for Jesus, the son of God) and be Born Again. Old things are passed away, and all things have become new. Your statement was not biblical,
to say what you said.
However, I have concerns if Hillary, McCain, Obama, Huckabee, Rudy, or Ron Paul get into office.
All different reasons – and I don’t know which is worse or better.
I will not hold Obama’s family history against him; however, I would expect him to let
us know what HIS personal feelings are towards the religion of some of his family
and his feelings towards Israel.
When you say something is “likely” – that means nothing. We need to stop assuming
things, and talking like that (not using words like – LIKELY) and get FACTS.
If Obama is a born again believer, that has given his life to Y’shua (Jesus), then I don’t care
what his past is. I don’t care how many times he did drugs or what church he went to at
10 years old.
But, if Obama is attending a BLACK ONLY church (segregation) and is really apart of
the ecumenical movement (apostate church) – than we are not in agreement as far as
faith is concerned – because I believe they serve “a different Jesus, another doctrine” then
that in the inspired Word of God. See: http://www.chick.com bible translations.
Now – I will vote for a non-christian over a Christian man or women – if they restore
our constitution and support more of the issues that I do – like social security for one.
If I get some information, that can be verified to be truthful and backed up – that
Obama is now a practicing Muslim and he wants to destroy Israel and hates white
people (the pain he had to go thru as a young man struggling for his identity) – then
I will NOT vote for him..and he should be exposed.
But to say once a Muslim ALWAYS one…is not fair to him or to anyone. That is like
saying a person can not change – and God can change the heart of ANYONE. Maybe you
can find Y’shua as your Lord and savior – and see how HE can change a heart and make
a person whole. Go to http://www.chick.com again – and search for MEET JESUS.
I have no clue who I will vote for – I am looking at Edwards more and more since
I do not see Kucinich anymore, and I guess he is not running now?? But Edwards
needs to stop talking about getting rid of Public Housing and replace with Section
8. Huckabee I am listening to – but I am not sure of his stand on many things. Hillary
I got to like more and more when I saw her personality come out – BUT, her husband
is the one that I think pushed those trade agreements that took American jobs and
hurt the poor in those countries and talked about a New World Order (or a One World
Order) or something like that – which was not good in my eyes and bible prophecy
for the ushering in of the anti-christ and the cashless society and one world church
and all that.
So…I am not counting Obama out – but he doesn’t have my vote right now either. No
one does! I am still listening to Obama – like
everyone else that is running. The last article against Obama; I posted in my blog without checking it out. I had to edit it later. NOW – articles like that or yours do not influence me to go against Obama – only to search for the truth on my own.

What nonsense. And besides, everyone knows Hillary is a Wicca, and practiced pagan rituals in her coven when in college. Bill is a secret vizeer in their auxiliary coven in Hot Springs.

Ivy Grad on January 22, 2008 at 5:45 pm

I am a conservative Republican, and I find this article deeply disturbing. We should not stoop so low as to engage in absurd and immoral smear campaigns. Attempts to belittle a man’s faith in the name of a political campaign is as disgusting as it is immoral. I am not a supported, but I can stand blindly by as people fan the flames with ignorance. Barak Obama is a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ and has been for over twenty years. It is the largest congregation in the United Church of Christ. It is part of a liberal denomination that was the first to ordain an African American, a woman, and a gay man. Congregants have described it in the New York Times as a “warm and accepting community,” and while it is a predominantly African American congregation, people of all backgrounds attend and are enthusiastically welcomed. It is what it is – another man’s faith – a political rival’s faith – but let’s stop stooping so low. – Caitlin

I once heard a caller on KGO-810 News Talk (Bay Area, San Francisco) that “Barack” is the name of the black horse which “Prophet” Mohamed is said to have “ascended” to heaven. She proudly said that she has a picture of the horse in her living room and is all excited to vote for Obama. He can deny all he wants that he is a Muslim, but the Muslims of this country and the rest of the Islamic world can’t wait to have a Muslim American President. I only hope that the stupid Democrats who are trying to elect him get some sense into their heads before it is too late. We need to stop him at any cost…

ij on January 25, 2008 at 2:08 am

I have tremendous respect for Mr. Obama and his accomplishments. But one must not forget that neither the world at large nor America is ready for him to be the president. I think if Mr. Obama was really sensible and smart( as I think he is) he would join hands with Hillary Clinton and would aggressively campaign for her, that is the only way to bring change in the white house. Our country has lost it’s credibility and status in the world badly in last eight years. Only way to restore it by bringing someone who has knowledge experience , world recognition and support. I can’t think of any one better than Hillary Clinton. We need someone who is going to unite America and not divide just to get votes.
Mr. Obama and his supporters must not forget what Clintons have always done and felt for African Americans of this country. These are very sensitive as well as precious times , I would strongly urge Mr. Obama and his supporters to support Mrs. Clinton. That is the only way to show their loyalty and humility. Nothing can be achieved by being arrogant and high headed.
I would like everyone who is reading this please support Mrs. Clinton and restore our country’s status and dignity on the WORLD STAGE.

I Think you guys are complaigning about nothing!
That is his past and we all got past:
he is a strong guy and we all have to admit that; him being a muslim does not make him disqualified.
I think he will be President of America because he is a challenge in Mrs Clintons eyes.

if hillary were elected, america will again experienced the worst terrorist attack ever seen since 911.electing obama is sending a message to bin ladin and staff that america is not fighting against all muslims but against any extremist muslims.but if america were to fight all muslims in the world? there are billions muslims in the whole world and about 200millions americans.the coran is very powerfull and each muslims can blow him/herself up.americans will be swept from the earth in less than a day and eventually the end…no offense to good americans.this goes to all these ignorants and racists gringos talking bout obama..americans need change starting by the way they think and act..there are a lots of ignorant and dumb americans known all over the world even in africa.you need to change that and be a role model..comprendre???

beni on January 28, 2008 at 2:51 am

OK What is sooo sad here is that people actually believe him that he is not Muslim. I don’t know but here is my theory …after carefully inspecting the evidence… I see that Arabs…i mean Islamic Arabs and Islamic fundamentalists have INVADED our country folks and are silently taking us over. We are in BIG trouble…let s all ban together because it could be a revolution on our soil – we might have to defend us on our soil or die as martyers. In fact us Christians who die at their hands- or your hands to the Islamics that are reading this ar ethe true innocent martyers. Do we come and kill innocent unarmed citizens with suicide bombs and such in your country ? No
And Sarah (or Sar’ai whomever you call her) HAD TWO SEPARATE CHILDREN one was named Ishmael- th efirst born and Second was named Isreal. SO you are Ishmeals descendants TRUE but you are ISREALS BROTHERS and you are like Cain murdering your own brothers! IN fcat God told Abraham BOTH sons would become great nations! Neithe rone of you are going to heaven unless you accept Jesus…most highest sacridfice of His own flesh and blood on the Cross of Calvery! HE DIED FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD, arabs jews, muslims, but you hav eto believe and accept God’s Sacrifice of his ONLY SON…hid blodd is for YOU
ALL OF YOU!

sarahstarspangler on January 28, 2008 at 7:13 pm

i mean HIS BLOOD THE BLOOD OF OUR OWN LORD AND MAKER shed for all of us.
Back to evidence of a silent takeover and we better come up with SOMETHING!
Bridges collapsing (terrorism- trying to cove rit up the government is) mysterious large accidents, all the ports being sol dto Arabs such as Baltimore ….and now the acceptance of a possible Muslim for President. I don’t know but the fact no one questions his religious faith worries me. We have been fighting Arab Muslim terrorist (back then called pirates) since teh beginning of our country. Jefferson fought them. Look it up.
And I still hope they all see the TRUE LIGHT and come to JEsus!!!!! HE IS GOD INCARATE …even the wise men from Arabia cam eyto worship Him – they should do before it is too late.

sarahstarspangler on January 28, 2008 at 7:22 pm

You people are out of your minds!!!!
Do you realize that Barack Obama DID NOT name himself?????? HIS WHITE MOTHER NAMED HIM PEOPLE!!! It’s no different than your mother naming you Debbie or whatever. There are parents that have named their kids Apple, Summer, Spring, Moon, and so on and so on. You cannot help what your PARENTS name you!!! Come on!! Stop thinking with small minds. As for Barack saying that he is Black, just imagine if he called himself White – would he be accepted as a White man? When a person who has a mixed raced heritage, they are often forced into one category or the other – not because they want to be, but because the establishment FORCES them to chose. Tiger Woods went through the same thing. You people are perhaps some of the biggest racists and bigots I have ever come across. I can’t even believe that people like most of you exist. Barack is an American man. He is no more Muslim than you or I. He can’t help who his family is any more than you or I can. Some of you have people in your family who are drug addicted. Is that your fault? Some of you have parents who cheated – is that your fault? You can’t stop your parents from being who they are. He couldn’t stop his father from being Kenyan any more than you can stop your father from breathing. Stop being idiots people! By the way, did George Bush do a great job for you? Did he give you everything you thought you wanted? Did he provide for you and your family? The sad answer is no. Stop being stupid people.

AreYouSerious? on February 2, 2008 at 11:51 am

Elections are confusing enough. It seems to me we always wind up choosing between the lesser of several evils. Who can we believe!? It’s a proven fact that during a campaign season, presidential-hopefuls become obsessed more with winning than with any loyalty to the United States or its people. Most of the comments that I’ve read are filled with so much controversy, back and forth from Muslims and Christians. To all of you Muslims and Christians alike, there is such a thing as discernment that we all are supposed to pray for. We CAN NOT know the truth because no one tells the truth; however, in some cases you must go with your gut! My gut tells me that neither Obama or Clinton are above board. Honestly, I’m praying that any of us who may have the great fortune of finding TRUTH, will hold onto it so that on that great day ahead we stand worthy!
Incidentally, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes…” Romans 1:16. I am a Christian and I approve this message.

baskingintheson on February 2, 2008 at 7:53 pm

Some of you are worried about the possibility of having a US president with ties to muslim organizations. What could Barrack Obama really do? Use taxpayers’ money to fly Osama Bin Laden’s family members back to their homeland without ever being questioned after the worst terrorist attack in American history? Or perhaps he could have the Bin Ladens and other Saudis as major investors in his businesses. Or he could just simply go back on his promise to not rest until Osama is captured. Whatever sympathy Barrack Obama brings to them “Muzlums” as someone called them earlier, it will be hard to top the current president’s love, admiration and dependence on them.

mrosad01 on February 5, 2008 at 10:24 pm

mrosad01,
Many of us realize the damage a Muslim president could do to this nation. The real horror for the US; however, is more the pure lack of concern the people of this country truly have for what matters. I could care less about anything Obama would do with our tax money. For some people, that’s where their treasures lie – in as much material possession as they can accumulate. I happen to dread the coming day when our country moves from at least mostly Christian to a nation of people who’ll accept any religion so long as it benefits them materialistically. Get your prayer blanket ready, Rosa, you may have to learn to use it. If you’ve never bowed to the true God, I’m sure you’ll have no problem bowling to Allah! God have mercy on the USA

baskingintheson on February 6, 2008 at 5:29 pm

Obama’s nomination as president of the United States of America will definitely empower extremist muslims. A black american muslim convert once said that one day they will storm America, and that muslims will rule.

He’s not dirty enough!!!!

Invincible on February 7, 2008 at 4:12 pm

Here is the Ninth Commandment: Exodus 20:16 “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” Barack Obama is not a Muslim. He has never been a Muslim. He is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. If some Muslims think he is a Muslim, that does not make him a Muslim. Here’s another lie: Schlussel says, “We are fighting the war of our lives against Islam.” This is patently false. The United States of America is not at war with any religion. Consider this: Germany is a predominately Christian nation. In World War II we were at war with Germany. Does this mean we were at war with Christianity? Jesus said, “Know the truth and the truth will make you free.” Debbie Schlussel is a malicious liar. As a practicing Christian I am ashamed of her.

Ninth-Commandment on February 8, 2008 at 11:06 am

some of these views and comments are outrageous….It shows that hatred and prejudice lives on in the United States. Barack Obama did not choose his father, mother, his name nor his past life style and if we were all judge by our families, and the past errors most of us would not get far. Lets not forget that 9-11 happened before Barack Obama and our current president had affliation with the Bin Ladens. What goverment members allowed terrorist to enter America. What goverment help fund the terrorist in America? Guess what it was not Barack Obama and they were not Muslim…Did Bush lie,did Clinton lie, did Oliver North lie? many have lied and have caused American lives and to my knowledge none of them had Muslim names or had a father who was a muslim.

meltis on February 8, 2008 at 4:49 pm

It’s hard to believe the level of ignorance that exists in this country is so high, and yet, look at most of these comments. I wonder how all of you who have fed into and posted to such ignorace would feel if the tables were turned and you were being accused of something you’re not. All of this is is actually pretty laughable, sort of like a playgroud fight: “You’re a cootie monster”
“No I’m NOT”
“Yes you are, ’cause you went to cootie monster camp last summer so you must be a cootie monster”
“I’m not a cootie monster! I only went to cootie monster camp because my mother made me!”
“Well the other cootie monsters think you’re a cootie monster, so you are”…insane.
What’s next? My mama & your mama?

After reading many of these posts, I find it quite embarassing to say that I live in such a country! Why is everyone so full of hate just because a man is different? Did our fore-fathers not create this country because they wanted freedom to be themselves and not be forced to believe and do things they thought were wrong? Yet at every opportunity we get as “Americans” we go after the individual who is different. Did it occur to anyone that maybe if Obama got elected as President and it is true that the Muslim community sees him as a brother that HE might be able to bring peace in the Middle East and even have all terroristic attacks towards America cease? Did it occur to anyone that we might get cheaper oil because of this? Are we not all complaining about how expensive gas prices are and how it makes living our lives harder? It costs more just to get to a job were our wages aren’t rising fast enough? After all Obama has done in helping serve the public in Chicago, you would think that would be good enough! How about Africa? You are talking about millions of people who can actually connect with one of their own through such a powerful position! Maybe he can get the leaders of those countries to help their people the right way. I know all of what I said may happen…but we have had 43 white presidents and they haven’t been able to get the job done!!! Can someone else get a chance? Is 43 white guys a true representation of the makeup of our country? If you think it is…then you, my friend need to open your eyes, wakeup, smell the coffee, and pinch yourself a few times, this is America!

I have always had an akward feeling about Banana, when he speaks he has no valor in his words and what he stand for.
His fathers religions DOES NOT cause me to become unnerved, rather his untruthfulness, that which he can not uphold. Seriously, if he is going to lie about his heritage he than is going to promote false promises and not be truthful toward the American people.Honestly, who does he think he is, and where did he come from? Banana, split!

Kala on February 11, 2008 at 11:10 pm

my advice is you decide to elect him or not according to what do you think he’d do for you as americans. in many comments you talk about Islam, you think you know Islam, actually you don’t, Islam does not ask people to kill other innocent people, and if anyone does so, it is because someone played with his mind and convinced him that this is what he should do, but it is nothing from Islam. and osama bin ladin is not the image for muslims, you just have to read and know more about Islam from reliable sources before accusing Islam of anything.

truth on February 12, 2008 at 4:58 pm

I am very concerned about Barack Obama’s popularity. I have always been a Democrat so I was open to him. But, unlike a whole lot of people, I am not under his “spell”. I am a very intuitive person and I get the overwhelming sense of “darkness” emanating from him. He is very angry, and I understand the positive side of anger–it gives a lot of energy and drive. But I just think that there could be something lurking inside him that is not healthy, that perhaps he is aware of and perhaps not. I relate him to the Anakin Skywalker character from “Star Wars”. Anakin Skywalker had a lot of potential at a young age and he was believed to be “the Chosen One” and in many ways, so too is Obama. But Anakin Skywalker also had a lot of anger, and even fear. This was manipulated by an evil dark Sith Lord who appeared to be for Democracy and yet was really manipulating behind the scenes the opposite. And of course, the result was the Chosen One became the monster Darth Vader. And the whole time, no one saw it coming, not even his beautiful and intelligent wife. I think we need an awful lot of discernment. And I am not saying that I am right, and the last thing I want to do is to smear anyone, but, I was not at all surprised when I later read that he was a Muslim and went to Muslim school for a time and he currently has a first cousin who is very involved with the current persecution of Christians in Kenya. If he says he has a relationship with Jesus, well, you could say that so do Muslims, for they believe that He is a prophet and is mentioned more times in the Quoron than is Mohammed. And it does concern me that I hear the black centered church he is involved with recently honored a Muslim who is clearly racist towards whites. I think that the danger of having a black power movement involved with Muslims is that both are dark skinned and many Muslims are Black/African and that they stir up animosity that white Americans have been and are their enemy–so one will feed off of the other. And I think this is a very legitmate concern. I think that many oppressed black people could get the wrong message and more harm could be done and instead of healing and going forward and we could go in the worst possible direction. God help us all.

Okay for anyone who thinks this is all made up you can go on snopes.com That websites always lists facts and myths whether it be about spam email or politicans. You name it, it is on there.
Coincidentally Obama is the most sought out subject on that website. If you take my advice and go on there you will read how he attended a radical muslim school where perhaps some of his classmates are now the muslims who are fighting a “jihad” against America. There also is a stunning photograph of him without his hand over his heart during the star spangled banner despite the others in the picture (including Hillary and Gov. Bill Richardson ) holding their hands over the heart. His excuse was that when he was little his grandfather taught him that you only have to hold your hand over your heart during the Pledge of Allegiance(Which by the way he does do…there are pictures on the site). My problem with this is there was also an American flag present in the picture and that is one of the greatest symbols of America. It is not written in stone but generally people follow the flag code of putting their right hand over their hearts when an American flag is present and during a rendition of the national anthem. I just don’t seem how someone can run for President but not honor the standards of our country.
I would not vote for him. Not because he is Muslim, but because I am a Republican with different views than him. I know that just because he is Muslim does not make him a terrorist. I have a Muslim friends who are not terrorists. Although it does freak me out that Obama went to a school thats past students now hate America and are fighting a Holy War against us. The reason I would not vote for Obama is because of his lack of foreign policy. He propably is the least qualified candidate in that area. Just because I am a Republican doesn’t make me racist or a hater or whatever else you’d like to call it. I love Condi Rice!!! My decision is determined by my political affiliation and then by whom I think will do the best job as President.
A lot of people talked about his lies. I have read some political books and you discover that most of what candidates say isn’t true. We probably don’t even know half of the truth and the shame of it is we never will.
If anyone has every read George Washington’s farwell address you would see how it directly relates to this blog. He address how the division of political parties will become a threat to our country if we let it get out of control. Of course we all have different opinions but we can at least have the decency to respect one another. Don’t forget we are all Americans and no matter what anyone says I know we have better lives than most people dream of in our countries.

Why is the media so reluctant to point out that Obama Hussein was educated in a Madrassa? This indoctrination into radical Muslim philosophy took place during his formative years, folks!
I really don’t care what the “debunkers” and his former teachers say; would you expect them to actually admit that their school teaches radical Islam and hate for America, especially when to keep silent would mean that “one of their own” could infiltrate the Oval Office without a shot being fired?
At the very least, you know these Wahabi radicals, whether they know Obama Hussein personally or not, are filled with pride at the thought of their Muslim brethren now being the ruler over us American citizens.
Such scary times. I am no HRC fan, but with the way Obama Hussein has practically hypnotized the electorate, you’d better hope and pray that Hillary kicks some major ass in the upcoming CNN debate.

Firstly, check out this web site if you would like more infor about Barack Hussein Obama Jr.
“The U.S. Veteran Dispatch”
In essence it states that Barack Hussein Obama Jr. is a Kenyan-American. He was born in Hawaii in 1961 to Ann Dunham and Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. who was alrady married to a Kenya girl names Kezia from his local village. His garndparents and father are Muslim and Barach Hussein Obama jr. was brougt up as a muslim.
What I did not konw is that it was legal in Hawaii to get married to a man Barack Hussein Obama Sr. {who was already married to Kezia) So that would suggest to me that his parent were not legally married according to American laws.
Barack’s father abandoned his Ann and his 2 year old son Barack jr. “It takes a village to raise a child” apparently not in Kenya.
Barack’s setpfather Lolo Soetoro was a Muslim from Indonesia. Barack studied the Koran and praticed the Muslim way of life. His mother Ann was an atheist, so not much about God from her lap.
Now, apparently research indicates the Dunham’s of America (Ann’a ancestors) owned black slaves and the Kenya tribe leaders of Luo, which are the ancestors of the Obama family in the late 1800s exploited black tribes enemies and sold their captures enemies as slaves to the British slave traders until the slave trade was abandoned in 1876 in Zanzibar.
Barack Hussein Obama Jr. belongs to the Trinity United Church of Christ. Their unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian web site declares its congregation to be “An African People: The National minister Jeremiah A Wright preaches “African-American unity throught antipathy toward whites.”
In Barrach Hussein Obama jr.’ “The Audacity of Hope”, is borrowed from one of Rev. Wright’s sermons. Therefore, Obama Jr. has no inspiring words of his own, they are taken from Martin Luther King, President John F. Kennedy and now Rev. Wright. So, therefore ladies and gentlemen the Grammy winner for “The Audacity of Hope” goes to Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright.
People wake up, check into this man that you are voting for, check his heritage, his affiliation and his own personal beliefs.
And do not forget his wife. Michelle Obama, I saw her being interviewed on the Larry King show.
She looked like a deer staring into the headlights.
She spoke and dressed and carried herself like a Stedford Wife.\
She was unemotional, and answered all questions with her speaking points only.
Revealing such exploits of her husband’s such as “leaving BUTTER on the table. Oh My!
Dirty socks on the floor, well don’t worry Michelle, if Obama makes it to the White House you can hire a maid to pick up after the slob.
Being home for Christmas, taking you out for your anniversary, well what a wonderful guy; he must be the only American man doing such things for his wife and family. Excellent reason to vote him into the White House.
All I am saying is “Who is Barack Hussein Obama Jr.”

Whether or not he was born a muslim, and whether or not he is lying thru his teeth and he is a devout muslim in sheeps clothes (protestant)the fact remains that he without a doubt has muslim pursuasion and incentive. What would happen if he gets ‘in bed’ with great ‘grandad’? How much money would you turn down from auntie-whoever if all you had to do was sell out a country that is already sold out? hm….the potential for real and present danger is enough for me to wonder how he has come this far….oh that’s right, liberalization, perhaps straight into a babylon where our neighbors are anything but neighborly. It’s not a biased thing, it’s an american thing, and while we ourselves are mutts and vagabonds we retain our native rights to defend and preserve our way of life, this collective life having been built for FREEDOM BY GOD FOR GOD…..not allah, not muhammed. Yes, it matters greatly if our president follows (whether secretly or in error) another God. And if some of you are comfortable with a ‘could-be muslim’ protecting you and your loved ones, please read your history and don’t be fooled. ~M

Hi Debbie
You have an interesting blog and your question is quite stimulating.
I am a Canadian, who is also a political junkie, and a stanch supporter of Senator Hillary Clinton.
As a Canadian we get a lot of T.V. from the States. I use to respect CNN’s coverage of world events and their coverage of tragic events such as Hurricain Katrina, school shootings etc. However, no matter what blog site I visit there are complaints of CNN’s bias again Hillary Clinton.
What I would like to ask you (if you believe the bias to be true also) if you could post another question regarding the overall media( newpapers, t.v. radio etc.) coverage of the democratic primaries. Thank You!

Muslims, Jews, and Christians all worship the God of Abraham. There are a minority of Muslims in the world who distort their religion to justify their own violent agenda. Hitler and the Nazis did the same thing with the Christian faith.

Obama was raised by his maternal grandparents and ia an American. He’s NOT religeous . . . at all. Check this link for a typical American story. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/070323obama-early-photogallery,0,5458360.photogallery

Let me try that again . . .

As a former Peace Corps volunteer and community organizer and business owner, I would like to say the following:
While in East Africa, I taught classrooms full of youths who were Christian, Muslim and indiginous religions. The teachers were also of many religions — there were also Buddhists. Everyone got along in respectful friendship. Here in the U.S. I hired the best persons for the job. Two were Muslims …I AM CHRISTIAN. All hiring practices say that we must hire competent people without regard for race, religion and gender! I am a respectful U.S. citizen and I love my country. As a community organizer, I went to ALL segments of the community (including the Nation of Islam) in an effort to demonstrate TRUE DEMOCRACY AND RESPECT FOR ALL RACES and RELIGIONS. At the local state college, the leaders of temples, churches and mosques came to make speeches so that students would have understanding about all social and religious groups. We are living in THE most pluralistic country in the world. It would be unAmerican to not form working relationships with all. Christian politicians in particular are expected to interact in a democratic way with ALL segments of their constituency. Also, those who are familiar with the Black Church and the importance of the religious institutions in the Black community know that the Christian and Muslim leaders in the Black community frequently come together in prayer, for funerals and special occasions. They are expected to demonstrate cooperation. African Americans also are very appreciative and respectful of the courage and sacrifices of “Black Leaders.” Though all Blacks do not agree with all of the positions of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, their contributions are esteemed — and they both ran for President of the United States and are loyal U.S. Citizens and Christian leaders WHO ARE BIG ENOUGH TO REACH OUT TO MUSLIMS AND OTHERS WITH DIVERGENT BELIEFS. Bottom line: I think you, Debbie, are placing a “religious tag” on Obama out of a lack of true understanding. I happen to know that he is a true and tolerant Christian who is able to demonstrate true democracy. All of these vitriolic and intolerant accusations do the future of our country no good. If you don’t like him or want his presidency, simply state your preference. But to assume he is lying about being a Christian because he hires Muslims and otherwise demonstrates respect for Muslims and African American social activist is not logical.

most of the people who commented on this are probably people of the opinion that anyone who is not a white Christian person are beneath everyone who is. why don’t you do some research and you will find out that most of the religions you look down on have been around a lot longer than christianity, and make just as much sense as almost every other religion on this planet. As for the radical muslim thing, doesnt that just remind you of what christians used to be before the 1900’s. take in example: the crusades, the witch trials. the radical muslims just happen to be the ones doing it this time around, and the christians are the victims, such as all other so called “pagan” religions were the victims back then. i mean honestly if any of you knew anything about any other culture or religion other than your own, you would probably change your opinion about not only barack obama, but all other different looking and sounding people accross the planet. seriously, get a clue or shut up. thanks for letting me rant, and please try to be a little more open minded. racism, and intolerance are exactly what this country and this world do not need. in order to do anything to help someone, we must first understand what motivates that person, and then we must use that understanding for the good of all people in this country. to say that someone is a radical muslim and will do nothing but hurt our country and kill innocent people, without any evidence or true understanding, is wrong. what would you say if someone said christianity is wrong and they are all bad people? you would tell them to think and look before they speak, would you not? so please dont think this is a hit on any religion, race or sex. but please try to be open minded and actually research things and try to fully understand them before you say such ridiculous things. thank you

What about the fact that George W. Bush’s Grandfather was affiliated with the Nazi party and attempted to start a coup aginst the US government? Should we be judging ‘W’ for his father’s father’s actions? The BBC reported on this but not a word about it here from our ‘liberal’ media . . .

I don’t give a damn about anybody’s color, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation or whatever else. The only thing that concerns me is whether or not they are an asshole. In the case of Hillary, I say yes. Yes because she strikes me as a complete phony who would suck any dick and put up with any abuse (i.e. Bill) in order to get the one thing she wants: power. In the case of Obama, I say no, but that doesn’t mean I’d vote for the guy. He strikes me as shallow in the sense that he doesn’t have any real substance on policy matters or experience behind him. He’s a fly-weight who also strikes me as smarmy and/or smug. McCain? Another dickhead who promises more of the same Bush BS.
God help America, because you’re going to need it (you had your opportunity with Ron Paul, but you prefer things get worse before they get better. Enjoy the ride, boneheads, enjoy the ride).

Damn…
well.. like some of the ppl i decided to procrastinate and make an account just to comment.
i’m a senior at rutgers. my parents are from the philippines. i was born here in america. don’t know how to speak my motherland language. i’m pretty american. i was an all-american for basketball in hs. now why do i get the feeling that i’m smarter than some of the people who are writing these entries.
i’m 21. i don’t watch cnn or read newspapers. i watch mtv. i voted for the other guy in 2004. don’t remember his name. i don’t care about politics. i’d rather talk about espn or a video game.
i came across this page because i googled “barack obama muslim” in the search bar just because i didn’t feel like studying just because i was curious if he was african-american or of arab decent. Well, i guess i know now.
Some people really hate Muslims? Why? I bet your the type of people who would call Iranians Arabs.. which they’re not. I learned it at school. some of you should go back ASAP.
Some of you people are smart, i gotta say, for believing “if you are going against someone then do it by credentials and all that stuff. not on religion or a name..” BUT some of you have weird logic..
my grandfather (a filipino american retired US general) is voting for mccain. at least he made up his mind without starting a hissy fit. stop with all this muslim hate. if you wanna bring up weird comments that have nothing to do with politics, how bout this one… wasn’t jesus from the middle east? does that disturb you that he bears more resemblance to a muslim than a white man?

Hi ladies and gentlemen.
This was interesting.
I am glad that it didn’t take place on paper. What a waste that would be.
People: The original article was meant to stir people up. Don’t let it bother you. It is obviously stupid to assign guilt by association and by innuendo.
It got some of you to register at the site. Me too. That is what was wanted in the first place. We all wasted minutes and maybe hours reading this drivel. Now our emails are collected in someones database. What are they going to do with them? Don’t bother with replying to this drivel, and don’t bother with registering for this site unless you really need to let off the pressure building up in your bladder.
I bet this person gets paid by the number of replies. I will know this is the truth if it doesn’t get posted. If it does get posted don’t bother to reply unless you put a call to ignore this blog in the post. It isn’t worth the angst.
Oh.. that’s German. Am I a NAZI??????? You be the judge.
