I don’t have an answer for why those on the right are engaging in this false denial, but I believe those on the left are doing it so they can dodge the dual (or primary) loyalty question that faced John F Kennedy and many Jews on a daily basis. However, unlike with Kennedy, Obama before he became President (by stating what he would do) and since he has become President (by his speeches and policies) has certainly shown his loyalties were and are to the Muslim world and against the US and our friends.

If he weren’t a Muslim why would he have bowed down to the King of Saudi Arabia?

I’m usually inclined to accept one’s self-identification, but Obama presents us with more than a few complications. Just as he adopted the “black” side of his multi-racial background, he adopted the African-Islamic name in place of the more western one (Barry Sotera). He tried to deflect references to his middle name (Hussein) during the campaign, now he uses it proudly, especially before Muslim audiences. Today he boasts of how much of his family is Muslim, at least to *those* audiences.

I don’t know if “100%” of the Muslim world believes he’s a Muslim, but lots of them do. Daffy Qadaffi certainly does, but so does the nominally more respectable Egyptian Foreign Minister. And there’s no question he promotes the Muslim narrative, including the claim there are 8 million Muslims in the US (polling suggests 2-2.5 million), that Islam is a peaceful religion preaching tolerance, that Islamic civilization contributed so much to western civilization, and so on.

But while one can argue about his status in “sharia” terms, there’s no question of where his sympathies lie. Some folks used to jokingly refer to Clinton as our first “black” president. By the same token – and with more supporting evidence – one can suggest Obama is our first “Muslim” president, even if we accept that he is at least nominally a Christian.

Hot Air used to be my favourite site, now I hate it because of the namby-pamby frauds Morrissey and the total fraud and new “big brother”-esque “Allahpundit”. Medved has been a COMPLETE disappointment. He should go back to being a leftist. I used to love his show the most but now it annoys me to listen to him be soft as a grape to the left. First, we have never had a separation of Religion and State. We have freedom of religion. These are two separate issues. Thanksgiving is a religious holiday. The Declaration of Independence talks about G-d given rights. Religion does help shape the character of a man, or in this case, Obama.

In most cases, the type of religion or sect, doesn’t matter. Islam is different, because the religion is based on politics, and using the political structures of country to bend towards Mohammed. Obama, being a Muslim, is using the power of the office to promote Islam and Islamic causes. Islam is the polar opposite of the Western Enlightenment, and the rights of man that were enumerated or recognized during the enlightenment.

Islam is not the same as Judaism or Christianity, particularly when it comes to the person who sits in the Oval Office. Or vacations in Martha’s Vineyard, as the case may be.

A good life, a righteous life, a life of resistance, in and of itself, is a strong prayer to God. A prayer He always hears. And success as the outcome for our efforts…is not the point.

The timing on this latest campaign to convince us that Obama is not a Muslim is striking. We are in the middle of a huge controversy about whether there should be a mosque at the WTC. Of course there shouldn’t be because it dishonors the memory of those the Muslims killed, and glorifies their killers.

(I do realize the WTC mosque is a tangential issue; they have numerous other mosques, are entering the country legally and illegally in droves and plotting against us with complete impunity — nevertheless, this issue has created more widespread opposition to muslim traits than any other muslim encroachment against our civilization, at least in the last few years).

Obama, with his Muslim background, attitude, proclivities and sympathies has essentially supported the mosque, and angered tens of millions of Americans, and his anti-American sympathies are on display more publicly than has probably happened to-date.

The elite, and the political hacks are trying to deflect this anger against him in any way possible, and the new publicity about how, of course, BHO is not a Muslim is one attempt to do this. Partly to make opponents of the mosque believe that the president is acting for dispassionate constitutional reasons, rather than muslim identification or sympathy, and partly to make opponents of the mosque feel guilty for being ‘racists’.

We can expect more disassembling of this type, and of course our job is to use, as much as possible, the opposition to the mosque as a wedge to broaden the opposition to muslim encroachments in general, both here and abroad.

Those like Medved are playing into Obama’s hands, to say the least. They still retain the core of their prior liberalism/radicalism, and wish to show their support of Enlightenment virtues of tolerance, open-mindedness, etc., without remembering that those virtues presuppose a homogenous society with loyalty from all its citizens and/or inhabitants. That is obviously not the case re the muslims.

So BO is a Muslim; he is joining them to weaken our Western values, and we must continue to help others see the scope of the muslim attack on our society, of which the WTC mosque is just one small part, but as it now happens, a very visible part.

I have read in well over a dozen blogs and in the May 2010 issue of Israel Today that Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said that the American President told him in confidence, “I am a Muslim.”

He also let slip reference to “my muslim faith” in an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week.”

Obama’s religion becomes a major part of every issue that concerns the Muslim world view and how he panders to it. Time to wake up and see that Obama, in his policies dealing with the Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah, Lebanon, Syria, ad nauseum, and with Israel are mostly on the side of those who consider him a Muslim. There are pagan religions that use Christian symbols, ‘pray’ to Christian saints etc., but the Christian figures are simply codenames for their pagan gods. Rev Wright’s ‘christian church’ I beleive is no different.

As soon as a very intelligent caller brouht up islamic militantant imans in England pushing for sharia law he automatically (“Ok let’s see who else we have on the line”) hung up with the attitude the caller was some nutjob.

As a Muslim, I am astonished to see the amount of hatred this site portrays on a daily basis towards Islam. I completely understand that there are differences, but these differences can be argued in a manner that do not offend a person or a religion. I have many Jewish friends and they do not share the ideology this website portrays. Debbie is very hypocritical, she talks about how others are “anti-semetic” and accuses others of racism and hatred, yet she displays the same type of behavior towards an entire religion. Before anyone attempts to insult me after this post, please understand that this comment is not meant to offend anyone on this website. I just wanted to share my opinion.

Religion is rarely the subject of our conversations. I, like many Muslims, denounce the behavior of any organization that kills people in the name of God regardless of religion as the Quran explicitly states that killing another human being is a sin, regardless of faith. My goal when I read comments on sites like this is to show people that not all Muslims are violent. We are hard working Americans like you and others that post on this website. We play a vital role in the U.S economy like every other citizen and are truly in this nation for one reason, to enjoy a better life. I understand that people might be upset with Muslims for obvious reasons, but lets not be ignorant about it, especially out of the respect for the hundreds of Muslim Americans that are fighting for our freedom in the military.

Under islamic law apostasy is punished by death. But there’s one exception: a muslim may seemingly embrace another religion (while remaining muslim at heart) if it serves the purpose of advancing islam. It is a part of the taqiyah practice. We have the right to be offended by them as much as we have the right to be offended by any other serial killers, such as John Wayne Gaysee, the Boston Strangler, or anyone else who is sick in the head, perverted in their blood lust and their lust to inflict pain and death upon others, all in the name of Religion, Allah, Islam, Mohammad, and the Islamic Calliphate they wish to establish.

You will hear more and more and more of it as Islam spreads, and if you are one of the unfortunate victims of some religious nut Islamic Jihadi zealot cultist, you might be lucky enough to hear it as your head is separated from your body, or as your life is stolen as their bomb goes off and you suffer excrutiating agony from the intense heat of the fire, and the projectiles from inside their sick, little bombs.

You might enjoy hearing “Allahu Akbhar! Allahu Akbhar! Allahu Akbhar!” as you watch a woman stoned to death, or whipped just because she was raped, even gang raped, but charged with fornication and condemned.

You might enjoy hearing “Allahu Akbhar! …. ” and loving Islam as YOU are set ablaze after having a tire draped over your body, your body and the tire doused with gasoline, and set ablaze.

Have fun with all the agony of that horrific burning. Many people have already experienced such a horrific fate, all at the hands of members of the Religion of Peace – the beheadings, the being buried into the ground up to their necks and stoned to death after being raped, but accused of fornication, the being doused with gasoline and set ablaze, and more.

I’ve heard Obama spew racist garbage, and I’ve heard him trash the US and US citizens, while praising Muslims and Islam out the wazoo, and while kow towing to other nation’s leaders as he berates our own citizens, the people he is supposed to stick up for, not denegirate. Our Lord and Savior, the Messiah, Mister Hope and Change, The One, Barack Hussein Obama (Peace be unto Him. Praise His Holy Name. Prostrate yourself before Him in worship, adoration, obedience, and submission) attended a racist chuch under a racist “pastor” for 20 years, in which people’s ears were filled with hate filled diatribes against white people, the US government, and so on, yet He, the Messiah, denies ever hearing it. When it comes down to it, his actions and words have betrayed his innate racism, such as comments about his grandmother who loved and cared for him, his comments about the police in the Harvard area, a comment he made without even knowing the facts, showing he was shooting from his racist, cop hating bag of tricks, and his speech before democrats in the Bay area in which he denigrated white people, Christians, those who read the Bible, those who own gunts, etc.

Some of what he and the Democrats have proposed and put into play are Fascist and similar to what was done in the 1930s in NAZI germany, and proposed by the NAZI party then, while some are Socialist, and some are Communists, so to say that he and his Democrat party and his administration and supporters engaged in similar behavior and similar processes as the National Socialist Party of 1930s Germany, or that he and his ilk are engaged in Socialist and Communist behavior and pushing related programs is accurate, but that is not the same as saying that Obama is a member of the NAZI party, or the Communist Party, etc.

One can act like a NAZI, or act like a Communist, or act like a Socialist without being a card carrying member.
