Serial Killer Who Targeted US Blacks is Palestinian Arab Alien (Expired Pasport), Police Hid “Mid-Eastern” Description

For several weeks, police have been quietly searching for a serial killer who stabbed poor Black victims in Flint, Michigan, then fled to Leesburg, Virginia, where his sister lives. Many family members of the victims were angry that the police did not disclose the White identity of the murderer, saying it was racist. But, now, it’s very clear why they hid his identity and true visual description: Elias Abuelazam is a Palestinian Arab alien who was here on an expired passport. (**** UPDATE, 08/13/10: Since I first wrote this, news reports say Abuelazam has a green card and was here legally. ****)

“He was a dark Middle Eastern guy and the description was of a White guy,” said [DS: his neighbor] Carrie Strang, who woke up this morning to find police cars and news vans outside.

Wow, we’ve really regressed a long way when we endanger people’s lives to give a politically-correct, whitewashed description of a Palestinian serial killer.

Abuelazam, who killed five people and attacked 20 others in three states, engaged in apparent marriage fraud, marrying a woman from Texas beating her, then divorcing her. (Some reports say they also had a child together.)

Police stopped Abuelazam, who was trying to board a flight to escape to Israel. Unfortunately, while Abuelazam’s name isn’t being publicized, that he is “from Israel” is. It’s funny: they hate Israel, but whenever Palestinians are in trouble, suddenly they are “from Israel.” He may have been born in Israel and even have an Israeli passport, but he and his ilk identify as and with Palestinians. The guy is NOT Israeli, contrary to MSNBC’s disgusting headline:

Abuelazam specifically targeted Blacks and stabbed them to death. Disgustingly, some of the Detroit media, including “newscaster” Trudi Daniels of Detroit’s WRIF-FM, are making excuses for the guy, with Daniels saying that he probably did this because “maybe a Black guy raped his wife” or someone Black robbed him or committed some other crime against him, she surmised. Daniels is an uber-liberal . . . and, now, clearly a racist.

It is well known that Palestinians, Arabs, and the Arab and Muslim worlds are racist. As I’ve noted before, they call Blacks, “abed” or “abeed”–singular and plural for slave, in Arabic.

Abuelazam was employed at a Flint-area convenience store, the Kingwater Market, owned by fellow Arab, Abdullah Farah. How interesting that it didn’t bother them that he was here illegally. Yes, they are accessories to his illegal alien presence in America, but nothing will happen to them. Because we just don’t have the guts, do we?

We don’t have the guts to protect our borders or to do a damned thing to those who help keep it porous and indefensible.

Nor do we do a damned thing about police who won’t correctly identify a Middle-Eastern Arab serial killer on the loose because, post-9/11, we must bow down to the Arab street at all cost.

Speaking of “not having the guts” to do anything about illegal migrants…Canada is now facing the possibility of taking in Sri Lankans on board a ship…(and, apparently, another two ships filled with more illegal migrants are also on the way). Since it takes 8 years to deport them, and once they step foot on Canadian soil, bingo, they have the same status as “Canadians”…we’re in deep trouble here. We need to change a host of laws regarding “refugees”, regarding deportation, regarding absentee “citizens” (those who, for example, live in Lebanon, and return to Canada only to use our health facilities), and our ludicrously lax immigration allowances (in 20 years nearly one-half of all Canadians will be foreign born!) There is something far more sinister to this than meets the eye. Police need to really look into his associates here, especially his Jordanian manager. I suspect that this story will be buried quickly now that it is known that the perp is not white, but Palestinian Muslim. Could be Hezbollah or Hamas, either would not surprise me.

I agree, Gerald. Wonder if this also accounts for the long delay in releasing the perp’s name? (The same thing goes on here in Canada — they have to first make sure of the perp’s identity prior to laying charges…so, if it’s a Muslim, especially an immigrant, he’ll or she will be granted “special” exemptions, reduced charges, etc., and generally it’s not afforded to ordinary Canadians.)

As a resident of Flint, we would like to know why no one released information there was a killing spree going on until this past week. They are quick to report about killings in the “hood” but people minding their own business in what is actually not traditionally known as bad areas in Flint? (And for those of you who will come out to say that all of Flint is the “hood”, I challenge you to come to Flint and take a look around. It isn’t ALL bad.) How are we supposed to protect ourselves and our families when they wait 3 months to disseminate the information? The first victim was stabbed to death in May. And we learn about this past weekend? Was it because most of the victims were black? I find that hard to believe since most of the police force in Flint is black. So was it because they suspected all along this guy was of Middle East origin? I for one want answers.

Hmm, hardly know where to begin with your misinformation…
1) Ramle is a town in central Israel – it is not at all the same as Ramallah in the West Bank, so the press didn’t ‘hide’ where this guy came from.
2) he is not illegal – he came to the US legally when he was a kid, with his family.
3) the MSM may have been confused by his name – Elias looks like a Hebrew name, which it is, but it is also used by Mideast Christians, like Boutros (Peter), George, etc; Abu Elezam when run together as Abuelezam is not obviously Arabic to MSM reporters who are not experts on the Mideast. Also, Elezam is a name used by, say, Moroccan Jews, though without the Abu part.

Why not just wait until this is all sorted out instead of flying off the handle right away?

As for skin color – when you see a Mizrahi Israeli or a Palestinian they often have the same skin color, you can’t tell them apart except by uniform, language etc. I would consider both of them as white as Sicilians, for example.
There are also black Israelis (Ethiopians) and Palestinians (few, but apparently descendants of soldiers brought by the Ottomans, perhaps); there are blond, blue-eyed Israelis and Palestinians – I have seen them. So things are not nearly as simple as you think.
As for Arabs/Muslims and black people – are you aware that 1/3 of the Muslims in the US are African-American? Real Muslims, not ‘Nation of Islam’.

The reason why Obama does not say that he is half-white is because racists have never cared about the white half, only the black half, when they discriminate. For instance, police profile half-black males all the time. A better example: half-black people were subject to Jim Crow, as Strom Thurmond’s own daughter can tell you. So, the conservatives who make such a big deal of Obama’s alleged rejection of his white ancestry are being disingenuous, knowing full well that America has always treated people like Obama as black. It is even more disingenuous when you consider that a significant percentage of blacks in this country are either part white or part Native American, yet they have always been considered black and treated as such.

Obama didn’t create the one drop rule, white America did. And if Obama wasn’t a successful politician, you wouldn’t care less what he chose to call himself. Instead, all you’d want is for the police to keep him out of your neighborhood and away from your daughter.

However, I should point out that Palestinian Christians – and Middle Eastern Christians in general – are not exactly friends of the Jews. The PLO, which was a secular nationalist organization (not an Islamist one like Hizbullah and Islamic Jihad), tried mightily to recruit Middle Eastern Christians for their organization, and had a small degree of success. But then the Muslims in the Middle East turned on the Christians and … well you know the rest.

I think you might be referring to an Eastern Rite Catholic, of which there are many carieties, all sharing one thing in common: they are all in communion with Rome. If I were a betting man, I’d say he is most likely either a Maronite (the rite most prevalent in Lebanon) or a Syriac Rite Catholic.

ALL Cathlics are Roman Catholic, as we remain in communion with Rome and recognize the Pope as our spiritual leader. I think when you say “Roman Catholic”, you’re trying to say Latin Rite.

Yes, RT, if you are born in Israel of Israeli citizens, you are an Israeli even if you are not Jewish. The Arabs that were here in 1948 and remained within the agreed upon borders were given citizenship so their descendants are citizens just as I am even tho I immigrated as a Jew. We don’t have a terrible immigration problem but we do have one. A lot of Russians were let in with nothing more than their say so that some great grandparent was Jewish. Turns out they weren’t and these people don’t exactly love us. They played us big time. We have some refugees from Sudan and other African nations who have produced “anchor babies” but our Interior minister is trying to deport them, children and all.
The Palestinians are the offspring of those who refused to leave in 1948 and then later were denied entry to Jordan after the 1967 war. They do NOT have Israeli citizenship. If this Elias character has an Israeli passport, he is not a Palestinian. I’m not going to argue that there is a difference although there used to be to some degree. Now, the Israeli Arabs have been Islamized in their sympathies if not their practice and are becoming increasingly hostile. Not all but many. We’re even seeing it among the Druze and Bedouin who traditionally supported Israel.

Rebecca, That was my concern and I didn’t know his middle name was Sharif. I guess he was named after the actor, Omar Sharif but his girl friend’s last name is Hanna which is an Arab name. My money is on him being sympathetic at the very least. The stories of how he was mistreated at work seem over the top, particularly since the Hollander family is known for it’s philanthropy.

In Israel, Israeli citizens of Palestinian descent, Christian or Muslim or Druze, are called “Israeli Arabs” – apparently to imply that they aren’t indigenous but came from Saudi Arabia or some other Arab country. They make up some 20% of Israelis.

I happen to think that “real Christians” however are the ones who understand and try to live the life their messiah did rather than following a bunch of rules and doctrines he would not recognize if he were still around.

Also I was speaking to Ag who has very strong feelings on the subject. You saw that she refused to accept he isn’t a Moslem. I didn’t feel like getting into a semantic wrangle with her and having her call me names as she has in the past.
It was a clumsy attempt at explaining that a lot of people don’t make the fine distinction she does.

mk750 – I am new here and had no idea you were a Jewish Israeli. I agree with you that those who kill innocent people are not ‘real’ Jews, Muslims, Christians, etc – that is, they do not follow what their faith teaches. But what you said was this:

Yeah it is kinda odd but I have Evangelical friends and lived in the South for quite a while. And as I said, Ag has very strong ideas along those lines and I was replying to her comment. I also went to Catholic school and understand her beliefs, but it was awkwardly put to deflect a pointless rant.

They listened to Al Sharpton deflecting blame on the Connecticut mass murderer by saying a white man was on the loose killing black people. I figure this will quietly go away.

I do consider this serial murderer’s actions like that of a terrorist — in that he was targeting (apparently racially motivated?) Blacks in the United States. That he might not have been motivated by his “religion” (say, Islamic) is another matter. But in so far as knowing *his* actual motives (Ie, what exactly was going on in his demented “mind”) — I suppose we’ll have to wait and see what a court of law determines.

Sam, so you have to be blond and blue eyed to be “white?” Wow! thanks for telling me. Now if I ever have a cause to fill out the “race” question on anything, I know to no longer check Caucasian since I have big, dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair.
When my third grade classmates use to ask me if Italians were white, I said yes. Silly me, if I’d only known I could have been getting my affirmative action goodies all those years before I left.

I should say that even if it turns he is Christian, he still grew up in an overwhelmingly Muslim environment at home.

And Christian Arabs have absorbed and identified with Muslim beliefs about the Jews, Israel, blacks, etc. Like I said before on another thread here, when it comes to hatred of the Jews, you’d amazed how quickly supposed theological differences can quickly vanish.

This guy is scum no matter how you look at it… But people please stop generalizing and putting everyone in one category… The reason they probably said he was white is because the witnesses described him as such… There are lots of Middle Eastern people that have blue eyes and blond hair… and believe it or not there are some Christians, Catholics, Greek Orthodox etc.. in the region also… If this person was not Arab we wouldn’t have this conversation… Every religion, country, ethnicity has their fair share of bad people… No culture is 100% exempt from the evil gene… Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that’s what makes this a great place to live… However, we need to look at every case independently and leave all prejudices aside no matter how hard that may be… The bottom line is this guy is trash and no one should defend his actions… And as corny and idealistic as it may sound we should all be more tolerant towards each other… There you go I said it… now lets all listen to “Image” by John Lennon…

I think there’s a more subtle lesson here about the press. Granted they messed up this killer’s ethnic origins because of prejudice and sloppiness. But this is their normal way of operating. Each day they do this a thousand times, because of laziness and prejudice, they mess up all kinds of news, misunderstand events, and oversimplify the complexity of events to the point of distortion or falsity.

One more example; can’t depend on the media, and any story they have needs to be independently verified.

Israeli press has reported that he’s from Nazareth or Ramle. It’s not clear how long he’s been away from Israel, but it’s reported his passport is expired. Many non-Jewish Israelis only consider themselves Israelis as a matter of fact, but nothing they take pride in.

And yes, Israel has a *major* immigrant problem, most falling into three categories: infiltrators (mostly Africans) crossing the southern border with Egypt; guest workers who overstay their work visas; and Arabs (mostly from the territories). The number of illegals is estimated up to 300,000. They’re taking over whole neighborhoods in southern Tel Aviv, and growing in numbers in places like Eilat and Arad. The question of what to do with the *children* of illegals is currently hotly debated.

The irony is that even as Israel celebrates each new contingent of Jewish immigrants “coming home”, even greater numbers are arriving illegally.

Raymond, overstated. It is a problem but nothing like you claim. Our Interior Minister, Rabbi Yishai has shown some backbone since coming to office being openly critical of earlier SHAS policy. He is determined to get as many of the non-working illegals out as possible. He’s even considering a small incentive payment to do so. The problem is we need non-Jewish workers to do some jobs on the Sabbath. So do put up with an increasingly hostile Arab *citizenry* or do we give permanent status to people who are genuine refugees and glad to be here? Unlike illegals in America who still cling to their native language and expect accommodation for it, our illegals have tried to learn Hebrew and our ways and their children all do.
There is a passage in the Torah to be kind to the stranger who lives peaceably among us. Ok, *some* of these are criminals but there are Sabras who are also criminals. But I emphasize that it is not as bad as you say and it is not as bad as in the US. There may be a few neighborhoods in TA that are affected but there are whole cities and towns where nothing of the sort takes place. Stop reading Ha’aretz or the J Post liberal rags. Some of the “trouble” is that the Eastern European immigrants don’t want the “svartzes” among them.

Even if this guy is an Arab, so what? Does anyone want to compare the percentage of Arabs in the US who murder people to the percentage of blacks who murder people? Yet certain people would have us believe that Arabs are to be feared — probably because they’re Jewish and are pushing an anti-Arab, anti-Muslim agenda. Remember, the goal of neoconservative Jews like Ms. Schlussel has always been to stoke the fires of anti-Muslim hatred in the West so that the US and its allies will fight wars for Israel’s benefit. And it should be obvious to even the stupidest person that those wars do nothing to stop terrorism here at home.
