American Tragedy: Border Agents Get More Than Decade in Prison FOR DOING THEIR JOB!

By
In early August, I wrote about the , two Border Patrol officers for doing their jobs.
They were chasing an illegal alien drug smuggler. Another drug smuggler he was with bloodied and beat one of the agents down to the ground. The smuggler turned on the other agent, and the agent shot at him in response. For this, these agents, military veterans with families, will do over a decade in federal prison. Even more incredible is that the USDOJ (rather, USDONONJ) went to Mexico and gave the drug dealer immunity to cooperate with them against the two Border Patrol agents.
In an incredible outrage, today, Federal Judge Kathleen Cardone–a George Walker Bush (ie., the current resident of the White House) appointee–sentenced Ramos to 11 years and a day, and Compean to 12 years in prison.

Illegal Aliens Must Be Laughing @ Absurd Sentencing of 2 Border Agents

. Read it all. It will break your heart. And make you wonder whose side President Bush and his administration are on.
That they were prosecuted–with the full support of Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez–is bad enough. That they were convicted is even worse. But most outrageous is their absurd sentencing, today. It’s an outrage that Lynne Stewart helped a top Al-Qaeda cleric perpetrate jihadist murders worldwide, and yet these two Americans protecting our border will do geometric multiples of the 28 months she got.

I’m telling you, we have TRAITORS on the highest level of government.
Bush and his cronies, whom I voted for twice, unfortunately, are ruining America.
What about our boys who are held unjustly by Bush in Camp Pendleton?
Bush is providing buffets and all possible accomodations to the muslim terrorists in Guantanamo and our boys are thrown to rot in prison in their homeland because they did they job defending this country, and they did it too well.
It is disgusting.
I’m sick of this administration who claimed to be “conservative” and turned out to be the other side of the same liberal treacherous coin.
I can’t wait for Bush and his cronies to go away.
The Republican Congress is as bad as the Bush administration.
Both have to be taught a lesson.
They fooled those who voted for them. I feel betrayed.
They will pay the price. Because nobody should go unpunished for doing wrong.

That traitorous witch Lynne Stewart gets a slap on the wrist and these men get 10+ years. Our institutions have been invaded and corrupted. Where’s GWB? How could he let the left and the anarchists do this?

Reading articles as this and about Lynne Stewart, often makes me wonder what country did I spend 8 years in the Army defending?
Between Viet Nam and then Germany, I was outside the country for 5 years and can honestly say I didn’t return to the same country I left.
The left has been infilitrating our schools, judgeships and lower but controlling levels of government for over 30 years.
Somehow, we need to ferret these leftists out and get rid of their anti-American actions.

I feel sick too. If Debbie Schlussel was the judge she would have nullified their sentences and set them free. We have a dual justice system in America: one for average, law-abiding Americans and one for leftists and the enemies of this country. I guess it all depends on what judge you up with up with at sentencing. Justice is supposed to be fair but in reality there is nothing impartial about it, as Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean have discovered. The Lynne Stewarts of the world seem to get all the breaks.

I’m both sickened and infuriated that this travesty has happened onca again. Having spent over 17 years of my career in the Border Patrol, I saw more than my fair share of atrocious bullshit when it came to illegals. That being said, before everyone gets in too big a hurry to fetch a rope and find the highest tree to hang the Bush Admn. over this, allow me to submit this:
The outrage over how criminal aliens’ treatment by the government goes far back. I can remember working the freight train yards many times in Yuma, AZ and seeing illegals trying to jump trains as they were moving only to fall and lose limbs or their lives. Sad as that is, here you have an example of a puke who violates federal law by entering the U.S. illegally, then violates Southern Pacific law by trespassing on railroad property, gets injured, and our spineless leadership in then legacy INS pays for their hospitalization, rehab, and a $500,000 settlement from SP because noe the poor dumbass can’t work. There was another incident in which agents working down by the Colorado River encountered a large group of illegal shitballs entering and were chasing them through the brush. One of these fucksticks turned on an agent, and charged at him with a large rock in his hand, raised to strike. The agent shot him in self-defense. Unfortunately, the little piece of shit didn’t die; the bullet shattered his spine and left him paralyzed. So, what does our government do? Once again, they pay for his medical bills, give him a big lump of cash, and send him home. The agent did go through an investigation but the it was decalred a “good shoot”. No shit Sherlock. The times have changed and so have the rules of engagement. These dope smugglers would shoot you or slit your throat in a heartbeat. Give them want they want: smoke ’em!
While I don’t agree with the Bush and Clinton clans over their handling of these incidents, let’s keep it in perspective. This shit has been going on in both Rep and Dem cmps for a long time. Sadly, it only now comes to light.

According to KFI, the judge had no choice but to use the minimum sentence of 10 years. I said it before and I’ll say it again, the Republican party is perverted by the neo-cons who molest kids, throw good people in prison and take away the rights of Americans so that rights of illegals are guaranteed. CAFTA and NAFTA were just the beginning and the Patriot Act 1 and 2 further erodes our rights as Americans. Hell, even the lefty network Air America was disgusted by this and demand Bush be impeached. The righties and lefties here will have to stop bickering and start working together to get rid of the Bush and Clinton crime families, get our rights back and live freely as Americans.
Where the left and right collide are petty, but reading the blogs here, we are in the same boat. We need to extend an olive branch to the progressives, work hand-in-hand agaqinst the war on our freedom, work hand-in-hand to fight against terror and swallow our pride. I’m willing. But we need the balls.
I hate Ann Coulter, because that ball-less cunt is probably creaming in her panties supporting the Bush regime like Rush Limbaugh is, stating justice under the Bush admin, but is demanding instant deportation of illegals and terrorists. Hey cunt-face, you can’t have both! Rush won’t have the balls to express his opine becaue the Bush admin (Jeb this time) would probably throw his ass in prison for the drug possession so he’s probably shitting bricks.
Am I mad? Hell yes! Our feedom is rotting away, while whiteys from Chechnia are illegally crossing our borders with the help of Marasalva truchas, getting ready to blow up temples and churches. So the only thing we have left are our guns and I wonder how long before the feds take away our guns. Don’t think it’ll happen?

It did.

This was a setup from the beginning. An agent that has a “friend” that is a pot dealer living in Mexico got the IA going in the first place.
Another argument for legalizing drugs. If we Legalized drugs Mexico would go out of business over night and the bribes and kick backs would stop going to corrupt people in law enforcement.
When I was in LE, you were not allowed to have friends and family in the drug business let alone have contact with them. Someone in the Mexican Drug Trade wanted this payback for their relative getting busted. This will send a loud message to BP agents not to do their jobs and the drugs will flow.
The DA did not have to file the charges, the judge could have vacated the case based on Jury Tampering by the jury foreman.
This is what happens when you refuse to learn from History with Alcohol Prohibition. Al Capone would love to be alive today.

How sad. Scum like Bob Ney of Ohio, who took bribes and sold his office in the House of Reps. like a dime-bag whore get off easy, perhaps 24 months in federal country club, and these guys, protecting us, get 11 and 12 years? Absurd. I don’t know what Al Gonzalez is thinking, but I’ll be glad when he’s gone. He is one of the most ineffectual AG’s I’ve seen in a long time…glad W had enough sense not to nominate this lightweight legal mind to the Supreme Court, and instead chose another lightweight, Harriet, before seeing the light.
No wonder Republicans want to stay home this election cycle. The GOP in some ways is becoming worse than the Dems.

Could Bush use his pardon power for these men? Why not start a campaign to get Bush to pardon these heros? Sure would fire the base up for the election……..What about it Debbie?

DDB on October 20, 2006 at 1:03 pm

Bush can pardon these men but will he. I and thousands of other people signed a petition that was delivered to the White House for him to get involved in this case.
There was no response so I assume he backed the prosecution. This prosecution was a setup from the beginning and could not have happened without pressure from the top.
The point is that these men should never have been prosecuted. It was an administrative matter, if that and not a criminal matter. Somebody wanted to make an example of them from the top of the Justice Department and IMHO it was Mecha Boy Alberto Gonzales.
What we have in this country today is Tyranny where the Political Elite have one set of laws and the rest of us are subject to another set of laws.
How do you explain W Jefferson of Louisiana who is still serving in Congress after they found $90,000 of cold hard bribe cash in his refrigerator. He should have been handcuffed and arrested but he is a political elite who is not subject to the laws the rest of us have to put up with.
If the FBI found you with 90k of bribe money after a sting, do you think you would be walking around as if nothing had happpened?

I don’t believe in God or in respect to Deb, D-g, but with NAFTA anbd CAFTA going full force, the book of Revelations may not be so wrong after all. Maybe there is a D-g or maybe it’s just a play book for the elite, who knows, but I know one thing, it’s coming true.

Set them free, give them medals. Then offer them the first shot when the traitors in the border patrol and justice departments are lined up for their treasons. Protect our nation, and honor, rather than persecute the people who protect the borders. Be sure the drug smugglers and their attornies are in the line, too.
