Classless Billboard Message of the Week

By Debbie Schlussel
Not repeating it here. In this case, litigation by Toys’R’Us is completely warranted. Talk about defining deviancy down. You don’t need to be a prude to notice we’re in warp speed.
*** UPDATE: “Shannon” has a great comment on this (read the comments section). It is a point I hadn’t thought of. It’s still a very classless billboard, but if the feminists can be classless–with NO fuss from anyone–why can’t the sleazy “men’s establishment”? I vote with “Shannon”. I still hope Toys’R’Us protects its trademarked name, though.

Oddly enough, that’s the name of my wife’s gynecologist.

Come on Deb, are you against the first amendment? Do you support the government censoring Stern too?
Tasteless, yes, illegal no. It is less harmful than all those hamburger adds that draw fat people into McDonald’s.

One sign vs all the press the Vagina Monologues get.

Are billboards protected under the first amendment? The FCC provides standards that Howard Stern and others have to adhere to. I think a billboard may fall under those same standards.
Hollywood liberals always say that if you don’t like what’s on TV, change the channel. But a billboard cannot be switched and it runs 24 hours a day. So you are forced to watch their ‘free speech’.
How do you think people would feel about a billboard that had photos of aborted fetuses? Suddenly, I don’t think free speech would be formost on their minds.
