Debbie, 2 years ago, fordson was not like this. It was horrible, no principal survived in fordson, our meap scores were low it was terrible. The principals were all AMERICAN. When mr. fadlallah came, fordson became one of the greatest schools in the district. Our meap scores are improving, many more are graduating, and the school is under his control. New rules were passed, the school became a better place to get a great education. I think the board of education knows who they hired, and no one is going to listen to you sweetie because mr. fadlallah had no negative effect on fordson. Public High schools aren’t usually the safest place for teenagers because of the drugs and etc…but Fordson is, there was barely any ‘unsafe cases’ in fordson, while in the other high schools there was plenty. move on…stop holding grudges against us. one last thing ‘Before you point fingers at others, please make sure yours are clean’.

Well, it actually takes a lot of honor and privilege to fight alongside of such a great group. You can’t just enter it whenever you please like the Army here. I would like to also add that if the people are supporting the American troops, then how come THEY are not all fighting with them? The reason why people left is because they probably had a family and would have stayed but what more could they do? They are not allowed to be in such an organized freedom fighting group when they want to. It just doesn’t work like that. Also, Hezbollah did not need anymore help since the Israeli terrorists weren’t even attempting to “destroy” Hezbollah. They were only attacking the people. So I’m sure that Hezbollah had enough fighters-more than enough.

I have an open mind. I watch none of the news groups you mention. I do watch Mosiac (middle East news)& Fox. Our Army is organized and legit and any citizen may apply. Hezobollah is NOT the official Army of Lebanon it is a terrorist group!
No one has bad talked the beauty of the Middle East, I don’t know where you got that from. You can dislike the government all you want but it is no reason to go after the citizens who have done nothing to you personally.
Answer this: What did those people murdered on 9-11 do to anyone here or in the Middle East? What did Muslims all over the Middle East do in response? DANCE in the streets burn our flag and tell lies that all Arab people in the US where being rounded-up and jailed. Don’t try and say that didn’t happen! My family called me from the Middle East worried if I we were safe here. I was personally questioned on the streets of Egypt 3 months after 9-11 with the wildest stories I ever heard. So maybe its you that needs to expand your mind a little.
Further more Debbie is “Somebody”. She is a human just like you and me and she has the right to print on this site (since it is hers) anything she wants. The relation of the principal and other school officials to terrorists is disturbing to say the least.(if it is in fact true). Also to whoever said that every football team in America says a prayer before games, you don’t know your a$$ from a hole in the ground. If you were up on your current events you would know that a coach was just fired and a school system reprimanded in Missisippi for saying christian prayers. This should be the same for everyone across the board regardless of religion. Keep your muslim b.s. out of the public school systems, if you want to have a religious environment then start your own private schools.(like everyone else has to). Also whoever said that Dearborn is “a great home that we have created away from home.” If you consider this great country “a home away from home” and not your real home, then you need to get out. By the way, Dearborn was created by white christians not arab muslims. We just happen to allow you to move there and now you are the people that populate it. You should be thanking us for this, instead of putting down our country. If you don’t like the freedom of the press and Debbie’s right to print what she did, then you too should find a new home. We don’t need people whose only allegience is to islam and not to this country.

The students are all muslim on the football team (majority) they were having their own prayers…by themselves, and it tends that they are all muslim so they made a short prayer together, they didn’t force anyone, they didn’t disturb anything..Dearborn is 90% populated by arabs, get over it.

Debbie, I just found this post through a link from another blog I was reading. I think the comments proved your point rather well; at least one death threat, rampant and sickening bigotry, and a curious pattern where “sets” of posts followed similar patterns, as if, say, they’d been told what to post at school.
Even Lina, who impressed me as the only intelligent student who responded, had clearly been taught a distorted version of the facts, and could only score real points off a few of the raving bigots on the other side of the commenting divide.
The facts are scary, and the fact that Lina offers hope some Moslems, even those who have been taught by hate-mongers, might be capable of engaging in rational debate doesn’t diminish my fear all that much. After all, there were quite a few more responses that were anything but rational. Some of the comments regarding Jews made me want to throw up. And they will only fuel the fire of those who want to treat all Moslems the same way, which would be no better. If only there were a simple way to combat hatred.

Another thing Osama and Ali are not terrorists, they did nothing wrong, o no there college students who wanted to make some cash, theres nothing wrong with that. Another point to make, unless ur part of the less then 1% of the U.S. population whos ancestors descended from the U.S. (i.e. Native Americans) and were not immigrants then you have no right to tell us to go back to our country because your an immigrant too (if not you then your parents or grandparents).

For one thing a lot christian high schools have the guys say a prayer before a game, so i do not understand why you are fighting a teen age girl about the subject. Another thing there a lot of different students from a lot of different countries and parts of the world that go to fordson so don’t sit here and tell me that Fordson isnt culture rich, just because you think that all arabs are terrorist it doesnt mean that we are. We have students from Lebanon, Iraqi, Albania, Turkey, Iran, Yemen, Palestine, Egypt, Mexico, Cambodia, Vietnam, other African countries and other nations, and that is what you call cuture rich then i don’t know what is.
Stop calling us the terrorist if i were you i would look in the mirror, then you will see that you are the terrorist.

The next thing you know it she’ll say that Israel was justified when they killed thousands of Lebanese women and children during the war for what 2 soliders? While Hezbollah striked tanks and such Israel bombed hospitals and buildings filled with innocent women and children. My parents were in South Lebanon during the war. While Israeli soliders were so called attacking Hezbollah hide outs and such they started bombing Ain Nibel (a christian city) before they started bombing Islamic cities.
