Since When Do American Presidents Diss Our Fallen Troops on Meml Day? Since Obama, That’s When

It was bad enough when Sean Hannity dissed the sacrifices and memories of our fallen troops by raising money in their name (the “Sean Hannity Freedom Concerts”) and sending a good chunk of it to his speaking engagement agent, his cronies that run a con-artist filled charity,  and using it to pay for his private jets and fancy travel and accommodations for himself and friends.  That was a scam which he continues . . . and continues to lie and obfuscate about.  But he’s not the President, just a scam artist with a giant audience on FOX News and ABC radio.

Now, though, the President,  Barack Obama, is flat-out telling America he doesn’t care about our fallen troops.  He’s skipping the traditional Memorial Day laying of the wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.  Hey, at least he’s honest.  More honest than when he faked his Selective Service Registration, years after the fact, a story I broke on this site over a year and a half ago.  So, I guess it’s kind of fitting that a guy who scammed his way out of registering for the draft, is blatantly F-U-ing his way out of honoring America’s fallen.

With the long Memorial Day weekend on the horizon, President Obama is finally addressing one of the great broken promises of his administration: his early pledge to return home to Chicago every six weeks or so.

In 16 months at the White House, the Obamas have been back home just once – in February of 2009. But they plan to make the trip over Memorial Day weekend, an official said. After arriving on Thursday night, they will visit with friends and participate in private events.

On Monday, Obama will make remarks at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, south of Chicago – missing the usual tradition of presidents speaking at Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day.

Since when are promises to a city of political thugs more important than honoring those who fought and died for America? Since Barack Obama became President. That’s when.

Unconscionable.  Truly a travesty.  But not surprising, given that it’s this guy.  What an embarrassment for a President.  Not that you didn’t already know that.

BTW, how long until Sean Hannity, who is still scamming off soldiers’ dead bodies, starts harping on this when he still hasn’t come clean about his own dissing of our fallen? 3-2-1 . . . (Michelle Fraudkin, who blindly defended Hannity’s scamming of America’s fallen is already on the case. Hypocrisy on the right is as bad as hypocrisy on the left. A damn shame. And plenty of shameless damned.)

On November 11, 1007, the AP reported that “President Bush honored U.S. troops past and present at a tearful ceremony Sunday for four Texans who died there.” The AP further reported that “Vice President Dick Cheney went to Arlington to pay tribute to Iraq veterans.”

I’m GLAD he’s not going to be there!

I don’t want his presence defiling that sacred ground.

Not only that, without the hassle and aggravation of the President being there, the general public will find it much easier to attend the ceremony, without all the unnecessary harassment from the Secret Service.

Patriotism is so passe. Every one today is concerned about what’s in for them. Respect for the dead and their sacrifices? Hey, all that most Americans know about Memorial Day is that its the kickoff to the start of summer.

And we have a low class President who shares their views. Might as well name it “National Kickoff To Summer Day.” And the Arlington tribute to our military dead ritual is already yesterday’s news. But folks knew that when they elected Obama and they have no right to be upset now about it.

Elections do have consequences.

I have a hunch that Obama is in for 8 years. Liberals aren’t known for graciosuly or otherwise admitting their mistakes, and in fact, I think that Obama supporters will dig in. With 4 years of court appointees, graft, intimidation, patronage jobs and (I predict) a national disaster (that won’t look like Obama’s fault) looming right around election time, the fix is already in.

It goes on and on! A second inauguration (private)(Masons), no Pledge of Allegiance, No Prayer Day, no honor and respect for the fallen. A Trojan horse has been placed in this country to bankrupt us, take away our rights, to create dictatorship, socialist, Marxist, communist agenda. He has all the traits of a traitor and an Anti-Christ, except for the fact he likes women. If I recall correctly the Anti-Christ had no desire for women as written in the Bible (KJV). Maybe he is the Beast or something. Who knows, but this is definitively going to lead to our demise and onto Armageddon. He is just part of it. I guess we should be happy then because our redemption draweth nigh!

What do we do? Even though we must do all we can and not sit back- although we know the end result. It’s time for America to exercise the right they were given and create a Militia! We have worked hard to build a Church on almost every street corner and make this country as CHRISTIAN as possible. We will defend that freedom and continue in the path that we were called to take!

So, I don’t care what happens on Monday 31 May 2010, for that is NOT Memorial Day.

I just now learned that, as part of the “Rolling Thunder” motorcyclist’s observance, on Sunday 30 May 2010, veterans of the Phu Lam Signal Battalion (my old unit in Viet Nam) will be briefly meeting in Washington, D.C., at the Viet Nam Nurses Statue near the Viet Nam Memorial.

So, I reckon maybe I’ll call a taxicab and head on down there.

Obama is slightly to the right of Ronald Reagan and is so far from a socialist its funny. Reagan couldn’t make it through a Republican primary today. That is the funniest thing about this whole mess the right has gotten itself into. We have crazies on the left too, Cynthia McKinney, we just don’t nominate them for VP.

Fact is Obama is no different than Reagan or George HW Bush. He might be more to the right of Bush 41 though.

    I think you may enjoy Obama’s book Dreams of My Father. You can learn a lot about him. He states that he purposely befriended people that were know Marxist. Now why would he do that?

    Also, I don’t know if you have noticed but the things that he is in favor of are Socialist, such as the Health care bill.

    There are many examples, but “right wing” is definitely not one of the labels that Obama wears nor does he want to.

    You can call Obama anything you want (since we are currently still a free country), but that does not make him “right wing”. His policies are socialist and his agenda is communist with a little marxist mixed in. These are just the facts based on the definitions of these terms.

I know that’s a trait rare in conservative circles, that whole learn’ thing, but generally those of us who want to improve ourselves try to actually figure out things about the world. Its why we travel, meet new, become exposed to other’s ideas. Kind of what an advancing society does in general. Or you could become withdrawn, paranoid and insular, constantly looking for traitors or RINOs. Whoops I think I just hit on the problem.

So far Obama has only cut taxes, that’s all you can judge him on regarding taxes and he wants to let the Bush cuts expire. Reagan raised them in 1986. Border enforcement, Reagan had an amnesty. Death Penalty is mainly a state issue, and hasn’t really come up. Abortion, what did Reagan ever do except give lip service to the issue. Judges, Sandra O’Connor anyone?

Yes he is in favor of increasing regulation of wall street, taking the regulations back to the level in the 90s. Reagan didn’t de-regulate nearly as much as he gets credit for. Yes Obama is in favor of environmental protection, but so was Reagan when he was governor, and Reagan only had a bad couple years with Watt at DoI, otherwise a wash policywise.

I really don’t think anyone wants to go there on fiscal policy. Especially when you consider that the 8 budgets Reagan proposed equalled more in expenditure than what was actually appropriated by Congress. So yeah, I’d call them a wash. Its always best to look at actual policy and accomplishments and not legends and talk radio bluster. Reagan was a moderate Republican, who in the best traditions totally snowed the social conservatives and hard right of his party. Kind of like Obama does only with the left wing of the Dems.

BHO will only go to the wreath laying ceremony when they put up a mosque in Arlington. That way he can pray with his fellow muzzies after he is done dissing the U.S. military. As Odopey said, we are a muslim nation, and I feel quite certain that he wants to expand the influence muzzies have in America.

Remember, our Terrorist-In-Chief wouldn’t wear an American flag lapel pin, he wouldn’t put his hand over his heart during the national Anthem, he sat in Rev. OK, here’s a real good opportunity for all the anti-war demonstrators to show they support the troops, and they don’t even have to support the mission! Just publicly denounce BO’s failure to give due recognition to the troops on their day of remembrance. C’mon, all you demonstrators who say you support the troops! Here’s your chance.!

What if the Chinese Communist dictators came to Washington? Do you think Obama would take them to some dive in Chicago to eat, and put them up in his crooked house in Hyde Park? I’ll bet he wouldn’t — they’d be put up in the White House, and would consider it an insult if they were accomodated anywhere else.

Shoreline bank is in the spotlight among other ethical and criminal activities… time to diss the troops to do some cleanup in Chicago. Plus Obi Zero just took a vacation the first week of the gulf spill if I remember correctly. This guy is praying he makes it through one term so he can escape prosecution. I suggest pictures of this criminal to be placed on public urinal cakes as one good turn deserves another.

Everyone needs to do their research! Two other Presidents have let other WH officials lay wreaths at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day and they both were REPUBLICAN:
1983 Reagan let a Defense Department official (W. Paul Thayer) lay the wreath
1984 Bush letVP Quayle lay the wreath–Bush was busy playing golf that day

One President let his VP lay a wreath at The Tomb on Veterans Day—Bush the 2nd in 2007!

Barack Obama= (The sum of years spent in a indoctrination clinic a.k.a. Public Education) – (The lack of school choice). The “under 30” crowd elected this guy.

Consider this: if these kids spend 12 years in the Public School system- then further their education with 4 additional years of college at some liberal arts institution- that makes a total of 16 years these kids would have inculcated with carnards of leftist ideologues, who wish to subvert America.

A caveat- the “village that it takes to raise your child” may be infiltrated with a 1960’s, hippie-ish, radical agenda. Vote for school choice!

Why would our Terrorist-In-Chief diss our troops? Because he is not an American who believes America is the greatest country to have ever blessed God’s green earth. He has utter contempt for our military. All you need to do to see how much he hates our military is by watching him lick the muzzies sandles and bow down to them like a good little boy.

B. Hussein Obama also sees the founding of America as racist, and everything since then has been done to keep the black man down. You can see this clearly by how he agrees with the First Beotch who said something about being proud of America for the first time in her life during his Presidential campaign. And then there’s the black panthers in Philly. Also Rev. Wrong, and the list just goes on and on. I guess I also need to call him the Racist-In_Chief.

Maybe he is afraid of ghosts. He skipped the Normandy Cemetery ceremony and now this one. Nice trend as Commander in Chief of showing his support of their sacrifice for our Nation.

Of course he like to lord it over those forced to attend his photo ops, as he did at West Point. barry told the troops:

“Under our constitutional system, my power as President is wisely limited. But there are some areas where my power is absolute.”

But he will be back in DC to see Paul McCartney. The man does have his priorities.

First of Dan, you must not have a job because my 1st check in Jan. 2010 had $40 more per pay period taken out for Federal with holdings – last time I checked that was $$ going to the government. So – where are the tax cuts??? And no – I do not make the $200K – No $150K – No $100K – or whatever it is now to be considered “rich” in this country – according to OB.and BIDEN-it changes just like every word that comes out of their mouths – try – $35K!!!!
Second of all, a “NATIONAL” disaster NOT “NATURAL”.
Finally – WE – the American people are not stupid – Socialism WILL NOT WORK!! Try this experiment with your kids/ employees – or whomever you might have subordinate to you —-if any???
Okay – we are going to have a science test on Friday and we will average the grades of the class and all will receive that grade so everyone gets something.
Well the A’s were mad and the F’s were glad – everyone got a C.
The next week – NO ONE studied and the ENTIRE class failed……Guess what class – you’ve just experienced socialism….when you stop being rewarded for your efforts – who will try??????? – you I’m sure Dan and your friends….right?

    TAMC, DanS is either a complete idiot or an operative. Hussein’s “tax cuts,” last time I checked, were actually “negative taxes” (doles) for particular groups. This has become the in thing for leftists to do.

    W. had the domestic policy of a “progressive,” but even he didn’t nationalize the healthcare system or, prior to that, “jumpstart” the economy with the Porkulous Bill.

You know, in Israel on our Memorial day, they sound sirens throughout the country and everything, I mean EVERYTHING comes to a standstill for 2 minutes. People pull their cars over or just stop in the street. Those who are sitting, stand and those who are walking stop and everyone is silent. If you want respect for your fallen, and that is right and proper, you could set an example for your leaders by starting a similar tradition on the local level. Look how the idea of Tea Parties caught on at grass roots level.
