French Embassy Upset w/ Schlussel Over Iran
Yesterday, I told you about France’s outrageous, but predictable, release of an Iranian arms dealer who was wanted by the U.S. France refused to extradite the man, Majid Kakavand, despite the fact that he deliberately set up a fake Malaysian company, bought nuclear and electronic components from the U.S., then sent them to his ayatollah comrades in Iran. Instead, France released the guy to freedom.
France is Way to Sarkozy with Iran
Well, now, apparently, the French Embassy is upset and is asking questions, trying to probe the influence of this site. Today, I got this e-mail from an Arab Muslim intern at the French Embassy (her name is definitely Arabic, apparently North African–from the way her last name is spelled, and I doubt she is anything but Muslim, since there are few French Christian Arabs).

To: writedebbie@gmail.comGood Afternoon,
I work as an Inter [sic] at the French Embassy in the Press/Communication Department. I would like to know how many readers you have each day on your blog?
Best Regards

We have very high traffic numbers, but I’m not giving that proprietary info away to this French Muslim chick and the Frog Embassy. Yes, I confirmed that she is really an intern at the French Embassy, despite the fact that the French Embassy’s press office keeps worse-than-bankers’-hours: they’re only open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each weekday.
