I’ll be discussing of “You, Me and Dupree,” out in theaters Tomorrow (Friday) Night. (I liked it.)
Speaking of Daniel Pearl, he attended Portola Jr. High in Tarzana Ca back in 75-78. I heard that he was becoming an accomplished sax or clarinet player because he beat out a gal who was competing for the top spot. She was pissed. He won and did well. When Pearl was executed, she was bummed and said, “Danny was killed?” Kinda sucks that the person you had a childhood grudge ends up murdered.

While you write your review of “You, Me and Dupree” tonight, read this. A movie about Daniel Pearl is in the making. It stars …. Angelina Jolie! She is supposed to play Daniel Pearl’s widow.
This is what his widow said about Jolie.
“I am delighted that Angelina Jolie will be playing my role in the adaptation of my book,” Daily Variety quoted Pearl as saying. “I deeply admire her work and what she is committed to.”

SINCE YOU BROUGHT IT UP, FYI, MARIANNE PEARL IS A BIT OF A HOMEWRECKER–DATING FAR-LEFTY SADDAM FRIEND AND THEN-CNN EXEC EASON JORDAN NOT LONG AFTER HER HUSBAND WAS MURDERED AND WHILE JORDAN WAS MARRIED (WHICH HE MAY STILL BE). SHE IS A LEFTY AND NOT TO BE REVERED.
