So, let’s see. Luggage on a plane from Amsterdam–the same departure point from which Islamic terrorist undiebomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab flew–blows up in a Texas airport. Gotta be Wiccan or Zoroastrian terrorists, right? The Religion of Peace would never ever do such a thing.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Police Detonate Suspicious Bag at Bush Airport: Ground crews reported small explosion in luggage

HOUSTON – A reported small explosion in a bag at Bush Intercontinental Airport led officers to detonate a piece of luggage, airport officials said.

It all started while airport ground crews were removing luggage from a flight that just arrived from Amsterdam.

According to the Houston Airport System, it was around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday when a “pop” was heard and smoke could be seen coming from a suitcase. Crews had already offloaded the luggage and placed it on the tarmac when the smoke was seen.

I’m sure it was a “moderate” Muslim bomb. That’s why it was only a “minor” explosion. No worries.

Fortunately, there was no detonation other than that created by the water jet from the bomb department and there was nothing explosive in the luggage.

I was just telling a mutual friend of ours today at lunch how grateful I am that you cover these low-profile news stories. Thanks to you, I have a much keener eye for them when I make my round on news sites.

The number of airliners that return to their gates due to threatening letters found in lavatories and/or unruly passengers amazes me. If you keep a keen eye on the news, these events occur (by my guestimate) about once every other week if not more. I think I sent you a news tip on one just last week.

There’s no way someone traveling through Amsterdam would ever want to set off a bomb on an aircraft coming to America. No terrorists ever travel through their airports (lol). Perhaps the news media got it wrong – maybe it was a bong, not a bomb. You know how much the Dutch like their cannabis. 🙂

I am waiting for the usual rot about concerns from the ever-clueless authorities (TSA, ICE, etc.) about whether the culprit, if Muslim, had ties to “extremists,” or acted alone. The biggest joke however is how the government and media treat these situations…well, biggest but not funniest by a long shot. We’ve been lucky for too long, and it’s gonna catch up sooner or later.

I assume that suitcase did not present its ticket, passport
and whatever ID was needed — there must be a name (real or fake)of the person who turned in that bag. We need the full
story. Don’t expect our pro-Islam gov’t to follow up. They
probably “knew” it was not a terror act even before the suitcase came to their attention.

If it was just a small popping sound it could be a fake-bomb, the airport security does these drills with bombs to have dogs and personel sniff m out (ocasionaly) these small devices get thrue. It is a bomb ofc but without a charge, merely a detonator with smoke.

You did read the ‘update’ to the original story, right? No bomb, nothing, just an accident from an overheated suitcase on a tarmac. But your readers will all assume it’s a coverup anyway, so why bother?
