Give it a rest. Or better yet,give us a short list of how a real man should act. Debbie is apparently the expert. First of all, we are not allowed to cry at entertainment, except, presumably, sporting events and BRIAN’S SONG showings. Keifer Sutherland, after all, is not a real man for tearing up after watching LOVE ACTUALLY. Clay Aiken, David Hasselhoff and other threats to Western Civilization and the perpetuation of the Human Race have roused Debbie’s ire. Oh, and here’s another one: we are not allowed the slightest concern with our appearance. I am not a real man because I use L’Oreal Stop Lines Moisturizer because I don’t want to look 60 when I am 45, like many men I know. I am such a pansy. By the way, I don’t work in a boutique, I cut and load telephone cable, quite often in the hot Carolina sun. Or is that not manly enough, either? Are all men who are not NFL linebackers or firefighters looked at with suspicion by Debbie and her hardline followers? Make me a list. With every vist here, the definition of a ‘rel man’ gets narrower and narrower. I hate to be this way – I am such a drama queen! Toodles!
