Debbie, I’ve always felt Israel should have done to Gaza what Sir Authur “The Bomber” Harris did to Dresden. He had the RAF flatten the city. It sent the Germans a message that their terror bombing of English cities was justly avenged. Its the ultimate deterrence. If Hamas can’t rebuild for years, they’ll think twice about attacking Israel again.

The only problem is the Stupid Jews in Israel who are more concerned with world opinion and a too sensitive regard for the enemy to do it. Overwhelming force applied once gets the job done. Israel has already seen what holding back did for its global reputation: it got libeled in the notorious Goldstone Report. What’s the lesson?

WIN! Three simple letters. That’s what is needed to stop Hamas cold in the future.

Hopefully this is just the beginning. Netanyahu can effectively disregard Obama; he is a wounded president, and even though many Jewish people in the US have illusions about Obama, and are confused about the Mideast, I don’t think that most of them would be comfortable with Obama being openly hostile to Israel. The Dems are on the verge of losing Congress, and the Republicans are publicizng, however ineptly, Obama’s hostility to Israel.

Yes, Israel should robustly defend itself against Hamas-ruled Gaza. Warnings should be issued to Gaza that the next Qassam attack or other act of aggression will result in a permanent cessation of all food, water, medicine, fuel, and electrical power that Israel has foolishly been providing to its enemies. Gaza’s television station, with its exhortations to kill the Jews, should also be destroyed. Ultimately, a population transfer will be necessary, with Gaza Muslims repatriated to Jordan, Egypt, or elsewhere within the Muslim world, and the Israelis retaking and annexing Gaza, in perpetuity. Until then, let Egypt, recipient of billions in U.S. aid, open the Rafah Crossing and use some of this largesse to provide the Gazan Muslims with the electrical power, fuel, water, food, and medicine that they require. The fuel can come from the Sinai oil fields that Israel found and developed after 1967, and which were naively and dangerously ceded to Egypt in three stages after the faux peace deal with Sadat, strongarmed by Jimmy Carter and the Jew-hating Zbigniew Brezinski.

There is a double plated silver liner to this story. American Jews, including ex-New York Mayor Koch, just today expressed complete outrage over Obama’s almost unheard of snubbing Isreal’s prime minister a few days ago. Now, untold numbers of American Jews are expressing that they shouldn’t have supported Obama’s Campaign, with both money, pull from powerful lobbying groups, and with an almost unanimous voter base. Serves them right, and I laugh outloud at them.
The upside to this, is Isreal has shown true superhuman restraint, in serving punishment to their enemies in the middle east, and now Obama’s snub, just gives a determined country the chance to throw off the yoke of American resolve to keep them from defending itself. Obama also has proved, what many suspect, that during his “formative” years under the Rev. Wright, who has a long history of teaching the beliefs of Farrakahn, an out spoken anti-semetic, his true feelings, that of embracing muslim anti-Isreal “theology”. I’ve always been a firm supporter of Isreal, and think Obama’s snub, something that no President or Head of State should have done publicly, unless they’re a third world nation dictator like Chavez, actually gives them the freedom and go ahead to defend themselves, and give a little payback in spades. Go Isreal. As for American Jews, well you drank the kool-aid, quit your whining about Obama, it’s a bit too late.

If Israel wants to survive, they have to hit back. There is no alternative, except for capitulation and request for safe passage to America. That’s assuming Obama and the Democrats would let them come over, which is doubtful. They might end up in refugee camps themselves if they don’t keep a hard line.

Some Jews, but sadly not all. I briefly got into it at a family gathering with my 29-year old nephew who remains a KoolAid-drunk in-the-tank supporter of Obama. He claims to “love Israel”, but insists Obama’s treatment of Israel is justified. When I argued counter, he insisted I’m talking “Fox News” nonsense (I’ve got two degrees majoring in international politics and don’t even get Fox News). Arguing with a liberal is like debating with a cultist.

Musta Enkeli seems to be saying here that U.S. aid to Israel, a “crappy” country, is bankrupting us. “Crappy” Israel has provided the world with more breakthroughs in medicine and technology than all of the world’s Muslim countries combined. Furthermore, Israel is, unlike the rest of the Middle East and all Muslim countries, part and parcel of the West. Enkeli seems unconcerned about the billions we give to Egypt, to Jordan, to Iraq, to Pakistan, to the Palestinian Arabs. What does the USA get from these recipients in exchange? Enkeli’s antisemitism blinds him to the threat posed by a nuclear Iran not just to Israel, but also to Europe and ultimately the USA, as Iran is hellbent on developing not only atomic bombs but also a delivery system capable of reaching us.
