Before I make my comments, I admit that I’m a little left of center. I understand, from your point of view, why you may have issue with Ms. Winfrey. However, when you resort to racist and sexist name-calling, your arguments lose all credibilty. I come from a similar academic background…JD plus graduate degree…and I would expect more from my colleagues in terms of making an inteeligent point. While I don’t agree with many of your conclusions about Ms. Winfrey’s actions, I would respect your POV if it didn’t resort to “sticks and stones.” Let’s face it Oprah is laughing at you all the way to the bank. Why don’t you just stick to the intellectual counterpoints?

Grrrr… Didn’t get to see “Scarborough Country” tonight but I’m sure you looked lovely this evening. I swear, you are actually getting more attractive as you get older!

Thanks for the link, Marcubius. There were some hilarious comments and I never thought I’d read those on Huff and Puff’s site. I also agree about the lovely Deb.
Every time I see or hear HOprah, it just makes me realize that while I love the USA, there are a tremendous amount of really, really stupid and self absorbed bird brains. What can you say about the status of a country that worships HOprah, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Tom Cruise, etc.?
