“United 93”: Movie of the Year

By
When previews for “United 93” were shown in New York City movie houses, the crowd whined, “Too soon!”
But “United 93” is not arriving in theaters too soon. If anything, it is arriving too late.
It has been almost five years since the terrorist attacks of 9/11, and most Americans have fallen back to sleep. They’ve forgotten who our enemy is: extremist Islam. They’ve forgotten why the Patriot Act was enacted. They’ve forgotten why it was necessary for in America to their friends overseas. They’ve forgotten why it is necessary that many Islamic charities allegedly funding hospitals and orphanages must be shut down (because as on 9/11, they fund acts and groups that continue to put people in hospitals and orphanages).
That’s why “United 93” should be required movie viewing for all Americans who love freedom . . . while we still have it. This movie is the wake-up call that needs to be visited upon anyone who questions why our government responded the way it did when nearly 3,000 innocent Americans were murdered by Islamic terrorists.

“United 93” is vivid, it is terrifying, and it is real.
And while all Americans should see this film, there are special groups who need to see it more than others:
* Assorted ACLU-style lawyers and activists: They need to suffer through this movie and remind themselves of those whose memories they are blaspheming with their endless lawsuits on behalf of the compatriots of their murderers.
* The giant pinata of kowtowing federal “law enforcement” bureaucrats, like , Homeland Security lawyer and Islamist outreach figure , and various local fed sachems like , Michigan FBI Special Agent in Charge , and his ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) counterpart, . All of these individuals have, instead, repeatedly , and even given to Sunni and Shia Islamists and even fund terrorism.
* FAA brass: The stars of this film are really the memories of the fallen heroes of Flight 93 (Jeremy Glick, Todd Beamer, Thomas Burnett, and many others) who bravely fought back. But on of the biggest stars of this film is Ben Sliney. He is not an actor at all, but was Chief of Air Traffic Control Operations at the FAA’s Command Center on 9/11. He plays himself, and demonstrates his heroic behavior amidst the chaos.

United 93 Hero-Victim Jeremy Glick, 9/11 Hero/Movie Star Ben Sliney

Sliney did the best he could while his FAA superiors repeatedly refused to give approval for F-16 fighters to engage the hijacked planes. Has the FAA bureaucracy changed enough from that day? Since the agency is still supremely worried about profiling of Arabs and Muslims rather than aviation safety, apparently not.

United 93 Hero-Victims Todd Beamer and Thomas Burnett

* Most Hollywood directors and writers, who could learn a thing or two from this movie’s director/writer Paul Greengrass, who did not make editorial comment. He stuck strictly the 9/11 commission reports and recountings of conversations provided by relatives and ground crews.
Perhaps that is why the hijab-wearing woman I saw and her Muslim male companion walked out of the film with big frowns on their faces. I think they wanted this film to make the hijackers Samoans or Icelanders. This movie is not PC. It sticks to the story as it happened.
And the identity and motivations of the hijackers are quite clear, from their red headbands and body hair removal to their repeated incantations of “Allah Hu Akbar” (Allah is the greatest) and “Bismullah” (in the name of Allah).
In many ways, what happened on United Flight 93 is a microcosmic view of the war we are fighting against Islamic terrorism all over the world, but especially on our own soil.
The passengers on the flight knew that if they did not fight the Islamic terrorists on board, they would probably meet their deaths. They spoke with family and friends on the ground who were watching live TV coverage of the events that had already occurred that morning. They knew that two planes already flew into the World Trade Center and that there was an explosion near the Pentagon.
They realized that their Islamic hijackers were on a suicide mission. And they decided to pursue an effort in the remote chance that they might save themselves, but knowing they would likely go down fighting, as they did. You can’t help but agree with a male passenger’s shout of “You bastard!” as he joined the other men on the plane in stabbing one of their hijackers with forks and knives.
Even though it is only the fourth month of the year, I’m confident in proclaiming “United 93” the Movie of the Year. It’s a good bet that Hollywood will not produce such an important and provocative film in the remaining eight months.
It is coincidental that this movie comes out the same week both sides rested their case in the last phase of the . While the United 93 passengers had barely a warning–perhaps less than an hour, we have had plenty of warning in America. It was not just the 9/11 attacks and the foiled shoe-bomber attempt in 2001, and other escapades since. Before that, we had the attack on the U.S.S. Cole in 2000, the blowing up of two U.S. embassies in East Africa in 1998, the 1996 Khobar Towers attacks, “Black Hawk Down” in Somalia, and so on. Before that, Hezbollah–a group which works with Al-Qaeda training its insurgents and which took part in the Khobar Towers attack–hijacked , torturing to death , and murdered 300 U.S. military and civilian personnel in Lebanon.
Yes, we have had the warnings. Plenty of them. And unlike in Hollywood, in real life, Jack Bauer does not usually save the day.
The question is: Will we take heed of them like the passengers on United 93 and go down fighting? Or will we “see no evil” and silently, willingly submit to the will of the Islamists who repeatedly tell us of their mission . . . until the West is dead?
So far, the answer is latter, and that is why “United 93” is a necessary and vital film. And it is also well done.

***
I note that two pro-homicide bombing/terrorism movies I’ve reviewed over the last year, “,” and “,” both turn the screen to white at the point of their deadly explosions. But “United 93” ends with a black screen. Unlike the aims of those two films, “United 93” shows us there is nothing pure white about the murder of innocent civilians. It is simply dark and evil.

The only ones screaming; “Too soon”, are LIBERALS (who want to see America destroyed), and the Muzlum propagandists (who also want to see America destroyed).
As for the rest of the real Americans left in this country…we need to be constantly reminded who our enemies are: Fascist-Islamists! Otherwise known as: Anyone who prays bottoms-up with his head up his ass as he points towards Mecca.

Thee_Bruno on April 25, 2006 at 10:07 pm

It’s not too soon for a movie like this. There are Islamic zombies being arrested and convicted right here in the U.S. for terror related crimes as I type this.
Nearly 5 years after the gutless Muslim males did their deed for Allah on 9/11/01, hundreds of Muslims in America have admitted their connections with Islamic terror networks.
There’s a rat dropping named Sami Al-Arian who is about to be booted out of this country because he has just admitted to his unsavory ties.
Many more of these lying bigots will likely follow the same path. It is what the rapist cut throat commanded in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
This movie should serve as a solid reminder of the Islamist barbarians, and their crimes against free societies, here and abroad.

DCWatson on April 26, 2006 at 12:05 am

It was liberals who said it’s too soon? Which liberals said it’s too soon? Can you name one?
Fascist-Islamists are *among* our enemies. We shouldn’t focus on one while other enemies bring us down without our being aware. Ever play chess?
I completely agree with Debbie in saying that if anything, it’s too late. But is Debbie committing a subtle variation of The Big Lie?
“This movie is the wake-up call that needs to be visited upon anyone who questions why our government responded the way it did when nearly 3,000 innocent Americans were murdered by Islamic terrorists.”
You mean responded by letting Bin Laden go (remember that guy?) and then attacking a country that had nothing to do with the events of September 11, 2001?
If this is yet another subtle, sad attempt at connecting Hussein with September 11, then Debbie has become as big a liar as America-hater Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, et al.

My problem with the Bush Admin. is its constant reference to islam as a religion of peace nonsense.
As for Iraq they were right on target:
Mr. Hitchens claims Wilson is a liar, and offers a rather detailed raison d’etre for his accusations.
In the article, Hitchens states that there were 3 letters concerning the yellow cake uranium, one a patent forgery out of Italy, but allegedly not written by an Italian. He also alleges Joe Wilson not only lied, but knew Zahawi, prior to his own little vist to Niger.
In part, here is what Hitchen says “In February 1999, Zahawie left his Vatican office for a few days and paid an official visit to Niger, a country known for absolutely nothing except its vast deposits of uranium ore. It was from Niger that Iraq had originally acquired uranium in 1981, as confirmed in the Duelfer Report. In order to take the Joseph Wilson view of this Baathist ambassadorial initiative, you have to be able to believe that Saddam Hussein’s long-term main man on nuclear issues was in Niger to talk about something other than the obvious. Italian intelligence (which first noticed the Zahawie trip from Rome) found it difficult to take this view and alerted French intelligence (which has better contacts in West Africa and a stronger interest in nuclear questions). In due time, the French tipped off the British, who in their cousinly way conveyed the suggestive information to Washington. As everyone now knows, the disclosure appeared in watered-down and secondhand form in the president’s State of the Union address in January 2003.

Forelock tuggers for the Bush administration often make the argument that Clinton had come to the same conclusion as the Bush administration with regard to Saddam Hussein’s WMDs. This of course isn’t quite true. Clinton felt Saddam Hussein had WMDs. He did *not* feel that Hussein was a threat to the United States. In fact, he wasn’t.
He was, at best (or worst, more accurately), an indirect threat to Israel. But I don’t remember anyone in the Bush administration saying that we’re going to invade Iraq to protect Israel. I haven’t seen a poll of soldiers in Iraq saying that they were there to protect Israel. The recent Zogby poll showed that 8 out of 10 soldiers in Iraq were getting Hussein back for 9/11, which therefore shows that the Bush administration lies about a connection between Hussein and 9/11 worked.
And Kerry voted for allowing the Bush administration to invade Iraq because he’s a political coward.

hqsbud on April 26, 2006 at 3:06 am

Even one-time liberal supporters of war in Iraq ?including Democrat Sens. John Kerry of Mass., the party’s likely presidential nominee, and Tom Daschle of South Dakota, the Senate minority leader ?have begun taking jabs at the administration regarding its Iraq war policies, though they voted for the invasion based on the very information offered by the administration.
And why? Because their political predecessors and soulmates in the Clinton administration had made exactly the same cases against Iraq, though President Clinton was never strong enough politically to wage full-scale war against America’s terrorist enemies.

The one thing good about the Clinton admin. was the creation of Al-Qaeda in Europe through Bosnia etc. Zarqawi`s brother is top honcho there.

Obviously not a single one of you who commented is a New Yorker, and you’re all probably big fans of “Hogan’s Heros”!
For over a decade i was a messenger who went to the WTC daily, if i didn’t have to wait for my pizza special on Rector Street i would have been by the garage door during the first bombing, and the second attack on NYC SHOULD definitely have been the death of me.
Since my book takes place in NYC in the near future, August of this year, one of the things i had to deal with was how New Yorkers cope with that targeted feeling…the hole in the downtown skyline a constant reminder. i had over a hundred friends and acquaintances who died that fateful Tuesday morning, and it does leave a bitter taste to see yahoos from the sticks talking all this “Never forget” nonsense when they didn’t have to work in downtown Manhattan afterwards, the smell of burning bodies and the smodering Towers thick in their nostrils for months!
IF this movie was to produce the same reaction i had after seeing “The Deer Hunter” then i would be all for it, but we all know that this film will be used as WAR IS PEACE propaganda…and to paraphrase someone from another dark moment in Amerikkklan history–Do you people have no sense of decency?

EminemsRevenge on April 26, 2006 at 8:33 am

Usually I get a laugh at your silly ramblings, EminemsStupidity.
But, you really are just a complete idiot.
This was an attack on America, and it’s not “Amerikkka” you imbecile. Why don’t you and that goofy Muslim woman protesting the gym (in the thread below) hop a flight out of “Amerikka” if you despise America so much? You won’t be missed.
So I can’t feel the pain of the people because I don’t live in New York? So, I am wrong to not forget my fellow AMERICANS because I don’t live in Manhattan?
I bet your so called book is written in crayon.
You disgust me. Let me paraphrase your closing question, “Do *YOU* have no sense of decency?”…or intelligence?

Jeff_W on April 26, 2006 at 8:59 am

According to EminemsRevenge if you are not from New York you are a yahoo from the sticks. I am sure that the rest of America not being as cosmopolitan as he are bereft of compassion and I am so sorry you did not make it there on time because your bicycle seat got wedged in the crack of your ass.Using the deaths of these Americans to push your sorry agenda and now you have the nerve to speak of decency.

Jack Hamilton on April 26, 2006 at 9:09 am

Thanks for posting the facts that Sadaam had WMD’s.
It is worth repeating that if you repeat a lie often enough people will believe it.
That is the game plan of the Democratic party to lie, repeatedly lie, until people believe it.
Thankfully some people see right through this propaganda technique.
EminemsRevenge
Are you taking your medication?

ScottyDog on April 26, 2006 at 11:32 am

I am a New Yorker and a survivor of the 71st floor of 1WTC. This movie is like opening an old wound to me, but one that must be repeatedly opened until the wound is properly healed. That won’t occurr until all those responsible for this and other attrocities committed in the name of Islam are brought to justice or justice is brought to them. As Debbie points out some Americans have “Fallen Back to Sleep”, but those who were there that day have a hard time sleeping. We still see the victims who jumped to their deaths rather than being burned to death. We remember the brave firefighters who were ascending the stairs rushing into danger even as we were decending to safety. We remember the terrible rumbling of the first tower as it collapsed in on itself and the terrible realization that so many of our friends had just died. These thoughts do not make for peaceful sleep. They still bring tears to my eyes five years later. The movie is timely and should be mandatory viewing for all those with selective memory loss. Damn the Islamist murderers and damn the apologist traitors in our own country who give tacit support to their efforts.

Architect on April 26, 2006 at 11:33 am

Thank you for the review Debbie. I’ll be going alone to see United 93 – none of my friends have the guts, or they just plain don’t want to face the facts. But I’m more determined than ever to make sure I’m in the theater this Friday.

Queer Conservative on April 26, 2006 at 12:00 pm

Anything west of the Hudson and north of the Bronx is the sticks…and i’ll concede what Architect says–the rest of Amerikkka needs the wake-up call–WE are constantly aware of what happened.
Jeff_W…YOU display the “love it or leave it” metality that puts the tree K’s in America!!! The voting in the past two presidential elections and the aftermath of Katrina doesn’t make US brothers all of a sudden…and i knew the deal on Arabs long before they hit the WTC…THEY are the parasites in the ghettos today.

EminemsRevenge on April 26, 2006 at 12:12 pm

Believe me, Eminem’s Moron, I’ve never thought of US as brothers.
You aren’t qualified to talk about Katrina since you don’t live in New Orleans. Taking your cue even further, you can’t understand anywhere else but New York, so you know nothing about the rest of AMERICA, either.
I couldn’t care less who or where you refer to as the “sticks.” If you are a representative of the “big city” or whatever your usual rambling childishness suggests, I am proudly a yahoo from the sticks times 10.

Jeff_W on April 26, 2006 at 12:31 pm

I’ve worked in the financial district for the last 25 years. I was there that day as were many of my friends & family. I personally don’t need to be reminded. I still see that hole in the ground every day. I can still smell it, as I had to be there to help my clients relocate & rebuild data centers to trade when the markets re-opened. I saw/heard people jump to their deaths to get away from the flames. I believe that those people on flight 93 knew what was going on and did bravely make an attempt to re-take the plane from the terrorists, I still believe that this plane was shot down based on the pictures I’ve seen of the debris fields.

TonyDee on April 26, 2006 at 1:30 pm

‘AmeriKKKa, ‘the Reich-wing’, ‘AmeriKlan’, yeah, we’ve broke out of that mental cage. Doesn’t work anymore. The guilt-trip BS only works on liberals who can’t face the truth — or the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports which tells us exactly who the criminals in this country are. It’s at your local library, check it out sometime M+M.

Bryanna on April 26, 2006 at 1:40 pm

Quoting Steven Hadley, Iyad Allawi and Richard Miltner is hardly proof of anything, as they all have pro-Bush agendas. But, for fun, let’s assume that what they’re saying is true. Then why did no one in the Bush administration say, “Hey, see? WMDs RIGHT THERE!” They seem to be rather meek about it. Why blame the intelligence if WMDs were actually there? In that case, this supposed intelligence was correct, wasn’t it?
Also, why did Bush explicitly say that he had never said there was a connection between Hussein and 9/11? (The unspoken part is that he implied the hell out of it).
Quit trying to make excuses for Bin Laden for 9/11. Let’s get BIN LADEN. Let’s put BIN LADEN on trial. Let’s put BIN LADEN out of our misery. Not make excuses for him and misdirect to some guy who threatened no one but Israel.

MOVIE OF THE YEAR?? Biggest scam and LIE of the year more
like!! Those people need a good KICK up the ass for putting out MORE misinformation. The truth is EVERYWHERE. I watched the trailer of this “joke” last night and were just laughing our asses off and then ultimately became furious and disgusted. I am prepared to stand in front of any movie theater and hand out literature and DVDs, and do whatever it takes to WAKE people up and tell them what actually happened and how the official 911 story is a BIG LIE.
Furthermore, never before or since 911, have steel buildings ever come down as a result of a fire, unless explosives were placed in the
building. Jet fuel burns at 1800 degrees F, steel only starts to liquefy at 2000 degrees F, after 15 minutes the intense heat was lessened and the plumes of BLACK smoke prove that it wasn’t hot enough to do that kind of damage. People were standing there waiting to be
rescued, and yes, they were avoiding localized fires and smoke. So the question remains,if it was hot enough to “melt” the building, so why
didn’t they just “turn to instant liquid.” That could only happen in a Hollywood movie, not in our physical world. Two years later, a sky
scraper in Madrid, Spain had a fire that raged on for three days and burned to a skeleton, a virtual towering inferno, newsmen and other
such fools sat by and said, “Well, for sure it’s gonna collapse soon, just like the towers in New York did.” Guess what, it never did, in
fact, it was so strong they rebuilt around it. This, after an intense 3 day fire. Whereas the buildings in New York came down in less than TEN
seconds (FREE FALL) after a series of fires that burned for about 1/2 hour which didn’t even cover an entire floor. (ask New York Fire
Fighters)Finally, if you watch the footage carefully you can see the synchronized explosions blowing out below the windows in perfect timing with the structure that is falling STRAIGHT down, as in a controlled
demolition.
Flight 93 was shot down, any other story (“Let’s Roll”…another joint, more like) is fricking poppy cock. The wreckage was scattered over six
miles. No cell phone calls were made because the satellites are on the ground and cannot reach the height of airplanes, furthermore, what son
calls his mother and tells her his FULL name? Answer? They have have voice replication technology for decades now, nothing new. They must think we are fucking dumb. I don’t buy the shit. Box cutters? Come on.
Is that the best they can come up with? Another bunch of Hollywood of nonsense. People must still believe in Santa Claus too. I love it how
the FAA controller issues an order to “Scramble” the F14s, NEVER happened. They were issued a “stand down” order and were engaged in a
series of military maneuvers which deliberately removed them from the areas threatened. Them maneuvers were simulations of “what if” terrorists were to attack key US buildings and infrastructure. Fancy that.
Try instead going to this link http://www.reopen911.org people need to know the truth. This site is
loaded with factual evidence from scholars, not liars like those in Washington DC. The real conspiracy “THEORY” is that 19 Arabs (9 of whom
have now been proven to still be alive and well) carried off this seemingly brilliant (almost!) plan.
There, I feel better now.
UH . . . TIME TO REMOVE THAT TIN-FOIL HAT.

To Frankie Avalon and the assbud,
Besides the theater full of West Side Manhattan LIBERALS who shouted, “Too soon”, you asswipes obviously think the same thing. Let’s call a spade a spade and say that it wasn’t a bunch of Conservatives who screamed, “Too soon”.
Also, you LIBS, ask any of the families who lost loved ones on Flight 93 and THEY will tell you UNANIMOUSLY that it’s not “Too soon”. They will tell you that it’s Too soon to become complacent. That it’s Too soon to let Muzlums and LIBERALS like you defeat us.
But, because you LIBS obviously side with America’s enemies such as Osama bum Laden, Mohammad Atta, and Mouse-aoui, you, too, think it’s “Too soon” because you’re not done bashing Bush, yet.
Why don’t you follow the link below and read what the families of those lost on Flight 93 had to say about the movie after they had their private screening of it last night.

F5Mando: I just want to preface my comments with the fact I hate what the current administration has done and is doing to this country. I went to the site that you listed & reviewed a few of your stories. I’m not sure where you got your eyewitnesses from that didn’t hear the 2nd plane coming in; maybe they were distracted. All I can tell you is what I saw & heard. I had just stepped off an express bus on West Street at 8:45 when I was nearly hit with what looked like the front landing gear from the plane that hit WTC1. I did not hear that jet as I was literally stepping off the bus when it hit. I then ran across West street & stood in front of 1 World Financial Center, where I was working at the time. I was on my cell trying to get in touch with friends & family that I had in WTC 2 to tell them to get the hell out. I was standing there with at least 100 other people when we heard the scream of jet engines. We all heard & saw the plane coming in from the southwest, bank to the left & slam into WTC 2. I really don’t care what was analyzed from TV reports & your alleged blue screen changes. All I can tell you is a real passenger jet slammed into WTC 2, I heard it & saw it for myself. I was still at the WFC when WTC2 collapsed, I personally, did not hear demolition explosions as I stood there staring in disbelief. Next thing I knew, a co-worker was dragging me south as we ran for our lives. Enough with the conspiracy theories.

3000 Americans died on 9/11, big deal.
How many people have died as a result of American foreign policy and your relentless greed when it comes to oil?
It’s a shame none of you had such sterling levels of moral outrage during the 1980’s, when your government was funding South American dictators and death squads that disappeared thousands.
It’s a shame that the CIA didn’t keep it’s hands to itself in Iran during the 1950’s, if it had never destabilised that democratically elected regime and installed the brutal Shah as dictator you all wouldn’t be wetting the bed about Iranian mullahs acquiring nuclear weapons.
Stop dreaming your racist little dreams about “Islamo-fascists” and start taking responsibility for the cadre of rich, white men that are the root of all your problems.

You should have heard the story about how Jessica Lynch was fighting Al Quaeda and was saved by storming marines.
Or how Pat Tillman was fighting our enemies and saving American soldiers lives when he was killed.
Its called Propoganda people.
And BTW, Americans DON’T suppport warrantless spying of Americans.
That lie is made up too.

Robert on April 27, 2006 at 1:18 pm

I’m amazed by the amount of hate you have in your heart. True hate. I’m not sure why I need to see a movie to understand anything, much less to be reminded of a national tragedy that the incompetent people running our government failed to prevent. Read the Project for the New American Century, which trumpeted the need to attack Iraq, and how another Pearl Harbor was needed to gain public support for such an attack. I’m not saying our government knew about 9/11, I’m no conspiracy theorist. I’m just saying they didn’t care enough to stop it.
You’re all so afraid. Afraid of Muslims, afraid of dark people, afraid of arguments against your positions. Following Bush’s terrible agenda blindly is cowardice. Wrap yourselves in your flags and pretend to cry while you send my family and friends of to war. If there was a draft there would be no war in Iraq, because you wouldn’t be able to send the poor off to fight your bullshit war. Oh and apparently, it’s a lie that there are no WMD’s. I don’t know where you get your info from, because even our govt. admits they were wrong.
It’s sad that you people will talk about the evils of Hollywood, and then as soon as something comes out of there that you want to rally around, it becomes a must see event that all true Americans will love. This movie is ridiculous. I don’t think it’s too soon, I think it’s stupid to make a movie about that flight. It’s presumptuous and pretentious and it panders to melodrama.
The movie is a fiction. Obviously those people died horribly, however it happened, but don’t tell me I need to see a fictional movie to understand the threat we’re facing. You understand things by fucking LEARNING about them, not by sitting in your gated community and writing about the evil “camel-jockeys”, or whatever pejorative epithet you people prefer to call Muslims. So you can continue to be cowards, and enjoy seeing this movie, maybe it’s even good. But don’t trick yourself into thinking seeing a movie will make you feel better, or teach you something. It will simply fan the flames of the hate in your hearts.
Again, I’m no conspiracy theorist, so forget about the weird circumstances of the WTC towers or the Pentagon. In relation to Flight 93 I have one simple question. Where’s the plane? The debris is littered over 6 miles or whatever the official word is, but where’s the plane? There is video of the first friggin’ plane hitting the WTC by sheer chance, but I haven’t seen a single photo of the actual plane in PA. Why?

Is there a website you can refer to us where you name the LIBERALS who shouted “Too soon!” It was only LIBERALS, ya know. It had to be. It was in a West Side Manhattan theater. You have to be a LIBERAL to be admitted. They ask when you go in.

To the “blue” Danny,
I know First Graders who speak more coherently and spell better than you do.
The next time you post something, take your boyfriend’s cock out of your mouth so that you can see what you type.
As for Frankie Avalon, well, all I can say is that even after reading what the families of those murdered on Flight 93 had to say in the NY Post article, your actions are completely deplorable. Every time you post something here, it’s as if you’re peeing on the field in Shanksville, PA where true, brave, red-blooded Americans sacrificed their lives so a complete moronic LIBERAL like yourself can go to those fancy art museums in Manhattan and laugh.
You should be ashamed of yourself, but you’re not. That’s because LIBERALS Hate America!

Thee_Bruno on April 27, 2006 at 4:10 pm

Oh dear God!
It is an invasion of the Liberal sort.
Why must they come here and annoy us? I don’t have time to fight this battle today. I’ll leave it with the truth. The movie is a good thing and maybe those sitting on the fence will fall off in the “right” direction.
NY? Are you smoking crack kid? There is A Hell of a lot more to America than this place you idolize! Been there, done that, won’t go back!
I’ll sum this up: ALL LIBERALS ARE STUPID!

Can I respectfully ask what gives you the impression I am, in all caps now, A LIBERAL?
When will you be naming these LIBERALS who screamed “too soon!” You said you would.
Try to respond without the name calling, although
I think that’s probably impossible.

You probably shouldn’t bother with Bruno, Avalon. All he does all day long is troll websites trying to piss people off. He’s a moron.

Frankie Avalon vomited;
“Can I respectfully ask what gives you the impression I am, in all caps now, A LIBERAL?”
Very simple…your posts.
“When will you be naming these LIBERALS who screamed “too soon!” You said you would.”
You already know their names. (Besides, I never said that I would name them individually. However, you are rushing to their defense.) I don’t have to name them because you were probably in that theater on the West Side of Manhattan sitting with your friends as they shrieked; “too soon”.
“Try to respond without the name calling, although I think that’s probably impossible.”
You see, I didn’t engage in name-calling. That just proves further that you don’t know what you’re talking about.
It’s a shame that you don’t agree with what those families whose loved ones were murdered on Flight 93 had to say in the NY Post article. They said that it wasn’t “too soon” and that America needs to see this movie in order to shake some people (LIBERALS) out of their complacency before it’s too late for our nation to survive. But, don’t heed them. Just keep urinating on that field in Shanksville, PA.

Concerned Conservative is just as Conservative as I am a LIBERAL.
Concerned Conservative is what we call; A “seminar poster”.

For the record, I do agree with the families, as posted above, it is not too soon for a movie like this. I never posted otherwise.
Your statement that it’s only liberals who are screaming “too soon” is outlandish.

Avalon on April 27, 2006 at 6:00 pm

I find it interesting to read how far liberals will go to avoid the truth about 9/11. I suppose that the mass media would make up such a story to support George W. Bush.
For your information, the media hates Bush and they hate America. We conservatives supported the New Yorkers who lost loved ones in the WTC. Look what they did in return. They complained that they did not get enough money. What ingrates!
By the way, Rush Limbaugh interviewed Paul Greengrass, a Brit, for his newsletter. Greengrass is a liberal who wanted to make the movie to show what the passengers went through before they died. He used the historical records–called primary sources (for historians)–to write the script. He knew what terrorism was by exposure to the IRA. Remember them? They were the Irish terrorists who fought the British.
Those who wish to deny the truth may do so. But for a liberal to use the primary sources to make the movie speaks volumes about those above who cannot handle the truth. It would destroy their religion…their worldview…their delusions.

Bruno needs to stop blaming all his problems on liberals. What a cry-baby.

“When previews for ‘United 93’ were shown in New York City movie houses, the crowd whined, ‘Too soon!'”
I’ll never quite understand why it is that some Americans want to hold up 9/11 as a PERSONAL tragedy while at the same time the hate the guts of the real victims of 9/11.
Yeah, I know, hating New York and everything about it (including all who live in it) is part and parcel of being a Conservative theses days, but Christ people, if you hate us all so dang much, would you stop pretending you were OOOOOH so traumatized by 9/11?
Jerry Falwell’s a nut, but at least he was honest. He was practically giddy that it happened since he could wag his “holier than thou” finger at all the “pagans, feminists, and homosexuals.” The rest of you just slap a bumper sticker on your cars and tell US that WE don’t understand terrorism … nope, dipsh!ts, we were just the ones running from the tidal wave of ash when our buildings came down. What do we know?

Can’t seem to leave you a trackback. I linked from http://www.smalltownveteran.net/posts/2006/04/flight_93.html It’s past time for America to wake up and remember we’re at war, and who started it.

Bill Faith on April 28, 2006 at 1:09 am

The only ones screaming; “Too soon”, are LIBERALS (who want to see America destroyed), and the Muzlum propagandists (who also want to see America destroyed).
As for the rest of the real Americans left in this country…we need to be constantly reminded who our enemies are: Fascist-Islamists! Otherwise known as: Anyone who prays bottoms-up with his head up his ass as he points towards Mecca.

Funny? I heard conservatives: Right-winged, Christian right, the ones who say Judaism is not the way to God but Jesus Christ and any way other than Christianity is to Satan down in San Diego California and Orange County spew this too. So it isn’t just a liberal comment. And anywho, I don’t want to see see anything 9/11 until I see Osama bin Laden’s head.

Mantuckus,
I see you’re still posting from your mother’s basement.

Thee_Bruno on April 28, 2006 at 10:19 am

Talbain on April 28, 2006 at 1:21 pm

If you are from Canada, then why are you so concerned with OUR politics? You come on one site and look at this from a totally dismissive point of view, but some things when said in MY country, especially in a time of war are inexcusable!
Maybe you should study some REAL American history about how brutal these innocent Dems are to our military men, after they fought for their rights. Not to mention, you should have a lot of respect for the Republican party since your country is attached to ours, so in reality my family may also die for your rights!
How about if you go on to a liberal website and see how they treat us?

TheIcePrincess on April 28, 2006 at 4:09 pm

Oh this I jsut saw the link to this site off Somethingawful.com, but about your real American history is there things we Canadians dont know about yuor history or something. but jsut out of curiousity are all these hatefilled things said about Liberals, would one republican physically hurt a liberal for being a liberal cause to me it really seams that way and vise versa
