The love of a man and the reciprocating love of a woman is a precious gift from God, but I doubt if your parents TRAPPED by the HARSH RIGIDITY of their religion (Islam) will understand, unfortunately.
Hopefully she is marrying into a Catholic familyÖbecause the Church has always been able to address the issue of mixed marriages and disparity of cult. Unlike Islam, THE CHURCH does not consider it a disaster when marriages occur between two people of differing faiths. The Catholic lives his faith and she is free to live her.
In cases of disparity of cult, a dispensation from the Bishop must be received and the non-Catholic must understand the obligations assumed by the Catholic party in regards to children, their baptism, and education in the Catholic Church. Additionally, in Canada, such couples need to attend a marriage preparation programme before being married in the Church.

Islam also forbids any Muslim woman from marrying a non-Moslum male, however a Moslim man can marry a non-Muslim woman.
Islam also forbids a Moslim leaving Islam and converting to another faith. The penalty is death – look it up in the Qur’ an.
So much for the Religion of Peace.
