Religion of Peace . . . & Gubernatorial Candidates Who Diss White People, Dig 9/11 Trutherism

By Debbie Schlussel

As readers know, I’ve been following the “candidacy” of Palestinian Muslim extremist haircare magnate and Texas Gubernatorial candidate Farouk Shami, who owns the Chi, BioSilk, and SunGlitz products through his Farouk Systems company.  I’ve noted how Shami donned an anti-Israel “Jerusalem is Ours” keffiyeh at an MLK Day event, worked for the P.L.O., Yasser Arafat, and the Saudi Royal family and how his father–after whom he named his “charitable” foundation–bragged about killing innocent Jews in pogroms prior to Israel’s independence.  And I’ve noted his activism and honors from the American Task Force on Palestine, a group that refuses to condemn HAMAS, Hezbollah, etc. and won’t recognize Israel’s existence, considering all of it to be “Palestine.”

I’ve been attacked by the Texas mainstream media for this, and that’s okay because, now, this magnificent specimen of extremism and Liberace clothes has demonstrated even more anti-Western hatred, announcing that White people don’t want to work and engaging in nutty 9/11 Trutherism conspiracy theories. Yup, not just a supporter of Islamic terrorism, but a racist AND a loon. Shocker. Get out your barf bag.

New campaign slogan: Farouk Is A Kook.

Where’s your post complaining about Republican gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina, the whack job TeaPartier truther? Oh that’s right, she’s not a scary M..M..M..Muslim.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina said on Thursday that she has questions whether the U.S. government was involved in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks

There was a day, not too long ago, when a woman like Medina would be considered a kook, a fringe candidate. Sadly, we’ve passed that day as TeaBaggers like her reach critical mass in America and really unleash the crazy in our system.

BTC: I find Debra Medina to be a vile person and the Tea Party people need to completely reject her, which they have not. It matters not to me if she is Muslim. And, yes, she’s a kook. DS

Unfortunately, the main stream media in Texas doesn’t speak for us any more than the national media does. Nobody I’ve met would touch this dude with a ten foot pole. Anybody who’s heard his rants would however, beat him with a 3 foot club.

Bobo got his name right…he is a clown!

Maybe he can run on a ticket with Kinky Friedman. I see Shami is not Shamwowing them. His polls numbers are less than 15%. Thankfully people aren’t listening to his trash.

No Bobo didn’t get his name right? I was thinking Hobo after seeing that website.

I’m willing to work…Somebody give me a nickel and I’ll beat the crap out of him as long as I can do it legally, of course.

I hope he racks up a hefty result in the Lefty primary, it will reveal to the nation how crazy the Dems are. Medina is a whack job in her own right, also worthy of scorn.

I think it’s great that he was given the rope to hang himself and he did it. Not even smart enough to lie about his true feelings.lol Scum bag.

So.. today I spent the full day from 4:30 a:m until now at the Karmanos hospital in Detroit for the cancer surgery of a family member… outcome was much better than expected, not the reason I write tonight. I stopped into the “interfaith” chapel set next to the surgery center waiting area. It is their claim that it is a non denominational chapel. I walked inside to see a beautiful waterfall, no pews, no chairs, no cross, no star of David. To the left in one very LARGE room that is honest to god the largest part of the non denominational chapel, an area 100% dedicated to muslims. The carpets on the floor with a sign that states “do not enter unless shoes are removed” some sort of weird altar looking arrangement and cutouts in the wall that I think could be the footbath section… anyway, perhaps DS has written of this and I missed it, but I can tell you I was honestly disturbed and offended… just needed to vent.

I think Sharon’s comment gets to the heart of why Shami is running. He knows he has no chance of beating White, and whoever wins will almost certainly lose to Perry, especially with the Democrats’ communistic health care push.

So either he is doing this so he can run for Congress or Statewide office later, after gaining name recognition, or as a means to pressure the other gubernatorial candidates to be pro-Muslim, more than they already are, or both.

Given the principled weakness of everyone else in the field (Medina is the only candidate favoring lower taxes and closed borders, and as Bobo so inartfully put it, she does have her own credibility problems. Perry and Hutchinson favor open borders, as does White, which means Muslims, Muslims, and all others on an unrestricted basis.

He will pressure them to show how they are not prejudiced against Muslims, and this will be a harbinger of Muslim statewide political organization. These people are getting more and more into politics, and with the programmatic mushiness and opportunism of both parties, there is a vacuum just waiting for them to fill.
