I am a federal government employee. I work for ICE which falls under DHS. What I am about to say is my personal opion: It is stuff like this that makes me feel saddened, embarrassed and almost ashamed to admit that I work for the federal government – especially for ICE. It also makes me wish I had retired this past year. As it is, because of financial considerations, I now must stay until the end of this year. I will in all likelihood retire then and hopefully I will no longer be embarrassed by what I believe to be abject foolishness on the part of they who will have been my bosses.

It also makes me pretty angry politically and you can bet I will be voting for the opposition next time around (like I did last time around, and the time before that, and on and on…).

By the way, when Janet Napolitano left here for Washington DC(much to our delight)she took her longtime girlfriend Doro Schriro with her and set Doro up with a cushy position that Janet created for her with DHS only to leave the job within the year. Does anyone know why the sudden departure of Doro from DHS?

That’s the problem, they DO know what they are doing. Obama on down are doing everything they can to wreck this country. I know the weak-kneed, limp-wristed responses to terrorism and war are intentional. But these gutless wonders in Office really do not have America or its peoples’ best interests in mind.

The worst thing about it is, we all knew this stuff would happen. A gutless, and clueless President who thinks he can grin and spew flowery words, will get this country going again. Then he appoints other ultra-Liberals, tax cheats, and incompetence, and we’re supposed to accept this as a good thing.

“Federal Agent in NY”: I couldn’t agree with you more. I retired from that dysfunctional agency and my regret was that it wasn’t soon enough. Don’t look for these turds to do anything about terrorism or their “main” mission which is IMMIGRATION and customs enforcement (I don’t use capitals because they’re not worthy). All ice is concerned with is butt-snorkling each other and trying to see who they can screw with next. It’s led by anal-retentive, ignorant, arrogant former customs mopes who only care about fake NASCAR t-shirts, nikes, and other innocuous bullshit that has nothing to do with the security of this nation. Top that off with the leadership?! of the Lesbionic Woman, preceded by the ice princess Julie Myers and other misfits and you have a recipe for disaster. Let’s not forget “Peppermint Patty” (I’ll bet she and napolitano take warm showers together…her marriage is just a ruse[ask Meredith Baxter]).

I met with a friend who is still in federal service and he said you can’t get ice off their butts to do anything when it comes to aliens, terrorism, narcotics, et al. They could always count on us to jump in but not anymore. The new “breed” of agents can’t be bothered.

They are allowed to set up religious organizations with government money and proselytize in our public schools. Yet we are supposed to believe this is “moderate.”

That Gordon Brown and his cronies (from 60 nations) have agreed to buy-out the Taliban…Karzai’s asking price is 500,000,000 million dollars (yeah, half a trillion dollars to be given to Taliban “moderates.”)

CTV (a television station in Canada) also broadcast a report from some goofus in London. He stated, explicitly that Washington is “sold” on the idea that the War in Afghanistan has been lost; the war in Afghanistan cannot be won. and that the only alternative is to hand out, dole out the cash. The individual (with British accent) stated that “the war cannot be won”; Washington accepts this as a fact (unlike the intransigent Bush); and even though Obama intends to do a “surge”, it’s all for naught…That’s coming out of the London get together, headed up by that weasel, Gordon Brown (Labour Party, etc.)

DHS and ICE are the biggest jokes in the federal government. I retired after 30 years of federal service, the last 5 with ICE were embarrassing. I have been ICE free for 18 months and my only regret is not retiring sooner.

DHS is quickly reaching the level of being a catastrophic failure as a national security agency. It is being run by a bunch of ‘30-something’ lefty Capitol Hill staffers and most of its policy is still outsourced directly back to the Hill. I have never been a fan of the inefficient mega agency but it is clearly now in a purely self destruct mode.

DHS wants to be HHS and is doing every thing it can to advance an aggressive left wing socio-political agenda. If you thought McCain-Kennedy was an outrage, wait until you see what DHS is willing to give its blessing to in the new ideologically cleansed and utterly partisan ‘Comprehensive Immigration Abomination’ that is coming down the pike.

Written by yet another disgruntled and soon to be retired Federal agent who realizes he is currently working in the national security area in only the most marginal of contexts anyway…
