‘Memba Her?: Texas Lesbian Muslim Terrorist Chick Caught Again . . . w/ Three Bombs
Longtime readers will remember the name Kimberly Suzanne “Asma” Al-Homsi, the no-lipstick-involved lesbian Muslim woman who was caught with several bombs in her vehicle on over the weekend (perhaps planning her own Valentine’s Day massacre). As I’ve noted over the years, she was involved in several apparent terrorist incidents in Texas, has extensive explosives and firearms training, and was on the no-fly list. As I’ve also detailed previously, Ms. Al-Homsi has dual Syrian-U.S. citizenship and is on probation already. She was close friends with Wadih El-Hage, Osama Bin Laden’s personal secretary, who was convicted for his part in the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings in East Africa. Here is what happened with her, this weekend:
How many chances do two Muslim women get to violate the law with terrorist threats and test the system?
Many chances, apparently, if they’re “Kimberly” Asma Al-Homsi and Aisha Abdul-Rahman Hamad of Arlington, Texas.
Kimberly “Asma” Al-Homsi & Co-Terrorist Yasinul Ansari
“Kimberly” Asma Al-Homsi & Girlfriend Aisha Abdul-Rahman Hamad
And, sadly, Ms. Al-Homsi–who should long ago have been put permanently behind bars–was given yet another chance, this weekend, up to her antics, with several bombs in her vehicle, yet again. More on that, below.
I’ve been following Al-Homsi on this site (here, here, and here) over the years, when, in 2005, she held up highway traffic using a grenade (which later turned out to be empty, but so what?) and threatened to blow up a motorist in a road rage incident; when, in April 2007, she and her lesbian Muslim live-in girlfriend, Aisha Abdul-Rahman Hamad, were casing airport security and filming the take-off of planes from a restricted area at Dallas’ Love Field, and when she and her lover were arrested by authorities, in July 2007, when she set off explosives and pipe bombs outside her home (apparently to test authorities’ response time) and had a six-hour stand-off with police, then was released on $3,000 bail.
And now, the latest chapter, with a new Muslim accomplice, but notice that none of the news coverage mentions her religion. Also, this time, she’s dumped the middle-aged lesbian Muslim lover for an 18-year-old boytoy, Yasinul Alan Ansari, as her accomplice.
She and another man were arrested after authorities found an incendiary device in their vehicle following a police pursuit Saturday evening.
Al-Homsi, 45, and Yasinul Alan Ansari, 18, both remain in the Arlington city jail. Bail has been set at $210,000 for Al-Homsi and $100,000 for Ansari.
ATF Dallas spokesman Thomas Crowley said Sunday that officials plan to file a complaint on the pair in federal court in Fort Worth on Tuesday. “It’s an ongoing federal investigation,” he said. “We can’t put out any description [of the device] until after the complaint is filed.”
“Ongoing”? PUH-LEEZE. The investigation should have been completed, with Al-Homsi imprisoned or deported, back in 2005, or at the very least in 2007 after the second incident. This is her third strike. And this ain’t baseball. Her inning should have ended long ago.
Al-Homsi also faces one count of evading arrest, two counts of making a terroristic threat and one count of possessing a prohibited weapon. Ansari faces one count of possessing a prohibited weapon.
Arlington police, along with the ATF and the FBI, are continuing to investigate.
Again, where the heck have they been for the last five years? Famous But Incompetent. . . the lead agency in investigating terrorism. HA.
The latest incident surrounding Al-Homsi’s activities began about 5 p.m. Saturday after a motorist called 911 from State Highway 360 in Arlington to report that someone had pointed a weapon at him in an apparent road-rage incident on West Abram Street.
Police tried to pull the pickup over, but the driver did not stop. The pursuit ended in Fort Worth after the truck carrying the pair hit an icy patch of road at Rosedale Street near Loop 820. One of the pair told officers there was an “incendiary device” in the truck, authorities have said.
The incident prompted police to shut down Loop 820 at Rosedale for nearly seven hours while police investigated. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. The road reopened about midnight.
Although Crowley declined to describe the incendiary device, Al-Homsi’s previous encounters with authorities could best be described as bumbling.
“Bumbling”? Uh, I don’t think so. She’s been quite successful mocking us and doing her testing and conducting her antics.
In 2005, Al-Homsi waved a fake grenade at a motorist on Central Expressway during a road-rage incident. She was put on probation for having a hoax bomb.
Do they put bank robbers on probation for having a hoax gun? No.
That probation was subsequently revoked after a July 2007 incident in which she was arrested for having a pipe fashioned into an illegal firearm following a six-hour police standoff at her Arlington home. Police also found black powder, shotgun shells, pipes and putty.
Yes, but she was set free to do this again. So big whoop about revoking probation.
Reader Lorrie, among many who contacted me about the latest Al-Homsi laugh-at-America-while-testing-the-system-fest, lives in the area and wrote:
Ms. Al-Homsi, who you’ve written about before, was up to new antics on Friday night here in Texas.
Since the incident Friday night happened only miles from my home, I was compelled to do the tiniest bit of research. What I quickly found out about this woman and her ‘friends’ was chilling and led me to your website, among others. Even more chilling, frankly, was the complete omission of the word Muslim in our local tv or print stories. Apparently we want to be extremely careful not to offend anyone who wears a veil. In my opinion, the local news outlets buried the lead.
You opened your July 2007 article about Al-Homsi and her friends with the question “How many chances do two Muslim women get to violate the law with terrorist threats and test the system?” Maybe we’ll find out the answer when Al-Homsi appears before the Federal Judge in Fort Worth on Tuesday. Maybe we won’t.
Well, we know for sure that this Muslim woman has now gotten three chances, when she should have been locked up for good and/or stripped of her citizenship and deported to Syria, back in 2005, when she first waved her grenade and held a Texas highway at a standstill. Why the heck did she go free then and yet another time? And why is she here? This wasn’t an Obama screw-up (yet . . . though it’s looking to be one). It was a two-time Bush screw-up.
Another reader, “C”:
I do not live in Texas but was listening to the Ft. Worth Police Department scanner online along with many others on a website. We know the FBI was brought in and items were detonated after discovery. Police reported them as ‘packages’ and ‘opening the packages’. Some from the site I was on had heard on the scanners the FWPD mention pipe bombs. . . .
Bottom line is this: . . . Will she once again be release to go about her merry old way or will officials finally investigate what she is really up to?
After what happened at Fort Hood, I don’t believe our government should dismiss odd behavior as just that…odd.
The problem is that the government already dismissed her behavior as “nothing to worry about” . . . TWICE! This is just like the Fort Hood stuff. What does it take? Will she also have to murder twelve soldiers, like Nidal Malik Hasan at Fort Hood, to finally be taken seriously?
If I were the Syrians or Osama Bin Laden, I’d be having a bloody good laugh now and over the five years since her initial incident. Incredibly, both times, the authorities gave us their usual, “there are no ties to terrorism,” even though she’s best buddies with a man who helped blow up U.S. Embassies for Terror, Inc. And, hellooooo . . .? Ties to terrorism? She IS a terrorist. An ISLAMIC terrorist.
WAKE. UP. AMERICA.
