Haiti, Islamic Relief, UNICEF & the Scientologists

By Debbie Schlussel

While Israel was one of the first countries to deploy to Haiti to help relief efforts there–and, in fact, the Israeli mobile unit set up on a football field is essentially the only working hospital in Haiti–extremist Muslims and the Church of Scientology are engaged in far weaker efforts in Haiti that are, nonetheless, somewhat frightening.

This Equals This

(Islamic Relief = Islamic Terror Artwork by David Lunde)

haitiearthquake

It’s a religious race  and an apparent attempt to convert people by two cults (Muslims and Scientologists–one with a moongod at its center and the other with a failed science fiction writer as its founder and idol) at a time when  people in Haiti are at their most desperate and looking for something to cling to.  And although the efforts by Muslims (and the Scientologists) are weak in comparison to Israeli and American efforts to help these people, the religious groups’ efforts are clearly designed to get converts when they have nothing but faith to turn to.  These are poor, uneducated people, and the last thing they need in this time of disaster is to be taken advantage of, er . . . “helped,” by Islamic proselytizers.

Islamic Relief Worldwide a/k/a Islamic Relief–which is heading up the paltry but proselytizing-focused efforts of Muslim charity to Haitians–is a group I’ve detailed on this site extensively and whose events I attended undercover.  As I’ve noted, the group was founded by an immediate relative of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group.  The charity is not only tied to Al-Qaeda, but it employed HAMAS operatives to head up and run its operations in the so-called Palestinian areas.  Islamic Relief’s US registered agent and lawyer is the son of a Nazi Waffen SS officer, and he represented Islamic terrorists.

I twice went undercover to its extremist fundraising dinners in the Detroit area.  And as I noted on this site, I witnessed the “entertainment,” with Muslims clapping and smiling as young Muslim boys  danced and engaged in mock-beheading America, British, and Israeli soldiers with fake guns and machetes, then stamped on the American, British, and Israeli flags.

While Islamic Relief has tens of millions of dollars (the foolish Mormon Church gave it over $20 million), it announced only plans to spend a paltry $1 million in Haitian relief efforts, and there are questions as to whether the charity will actually spend that much money there.  Often, Islamic Relief money has gone to fund “the martyrs” a/k/a Islamic terrorists.  Good luck tracking the money sent to its Buena Park, California P.O. Box (a P.O. Box is usually a hint) in the name of Haitian relief.

Still, it’s frightening because it’s a sure bet that Islamic Relief will do in Haiti what it does all over the world:  use its “relief” efforts to try to convert Haitians to Islam.  Sources say, Islamic Relief did the same thing when it participated in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

And, FYI, if you give to UNICEF, which is also raising money for relief efforts in Haiti, it’s the same as sending money to Islamic Relief. UNICEF sends a good deal of money to summer camps and youth programs run by HAMAS, and at which Palestinian kids are trained to support Islamic terrorism and anti-Semitism. You cannot be sure that a single dollar you send to UNICEF will actually go to Haiti, instead of those efforts. And even if it does, money is a fungible good. Any dollar you send to UNICEF helps free a dollar from Haiti relief to go to the Palestinian extremist indoctrination programs for kids.

And then there is the Church of Scientology.  Scientologist and actor John Travolta announced on yesterday’s “Entertainment Tonight” television show:

I have arranged for a plane to take down some volunteer ministers and some supplies and some medics.  My church has also arranged for 80 medics and 33 volunteers to go down.

Notice how he mentioned “ministers” (a/k/a Scientologists) first.  Memo to Mr. Travolta:  I doubt e-meters will be of any use to Haitians without even a working toilet.

On the other hand, at least the Scientologists never flew planes into buildings, and they aren’t constantly trying to repeat their mass murders of Americans.

It’s the Muslims I’m most worried about.  Islamic relief is a scary organization.  And the last thing Haitians needs right now–or ever–is Islam.  Even their voodoo, which half the country practices, is preferable.

Though as Noah David Simon notes, Haitians who practice voodoo have something in common with Muslims:  Burn a Jew in Effigy Day.

Fortunately, the Muslims–no matter how hard they try–will never match the rescue and relief efforts provided in Haiti by the Israelis (who don’t proselytize) and Americans.

awesome post. the danger is at every corner, under the guise of caring “relief” aids. poor haiti-I bet they would reject muslims and the sci fi people.

The Islamofacists may be in Haiti to gain a foothold there for another reason. Check out what they once tried in another Caribbean country:

http://www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/irf/2003/24523.htm

Trinidad and Tobago

The Government is known to monitor closely only one religiously affiliated group, a radical Muslim organization called the Jamaat al Muslimeen, some members of which attempted a coup in 1990. The Government’s surveillance has focused on the group’s repeated attempts to seize control of state-owned property adjoining its central mosque and on any actions intended to incite revolt. In January 2001, a court ordered the Jamaat to pay the Government $2.5 million (TTD 15.3 million) for damage done to public buildings during the 1990 coup attempt. In May 2001, the court ruled on a counter-suit and awarded the Jamaat approximately $350,000 (TTD 2.1 million) for destruction of its facilities during the same coup. In connection with its efforts to prevent terrorist acts, the Government also monitors the rhetoric of certain independent mosques for any incitement to religiously motivated violence.

A good lesson is the Islamic “relief” poured into Cambodia during the 90’s up to 2003, when the Cambodian government finally starting waking up and expelled a few foreign Muslims. But it still is a problem there.
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Southeast_Asia/EF03Ae02.html
The last thing a country recovering from hardship needs is a bunch of Muslim barbarians pouring in. They are NEVER interested in helping non-Muslims, unless they feel they can make them into fellow barbaric worshipers of the fallen angel “Allah.”

JM on January 19, 2010 at 12:44 pm

There are other countries helping out in Haiti besides the US and Israel.
Also if you want to throw our cult, isn’t Christianity a cult? It was formed by Jews and is more mystical than Judaism with preists who claim to have supernatural powers and follow a man who is suposedly healed the sick aNd raised the dead.
Also there is a church from the US sending down audio bibles to give out to the people.

Nak on January 19, 2010 at 1:23 pm

Just what the starving and dying people need, Sharia Law and the Hollywood Freaks of Nature on their doorstep. I can just the two opposing entities setting up shop next door to each other. One giving out ninja outfits, and manuals on “do it yourself” bomb making vests to kill the Jews and Americans there, and the other asking for a small donation of $200.00 to join the “church” in order to be saved.

perception of truth on January 19, 2010 at 1:26 pm

I can’t resist. What are the starving Haitians suppose to do with the “ministers” from Scientology…Eat them, or maybe than can use them in some voodoo ritual.

perception of truth on January 19, 2010 at 2:17 pm

Its amazing that you and your readers are so full of hate that you even criticize Muslims when they go and try to help people. Haiti, with more than 200,000 people dead, needs all the help it can get right now, and it is downright barbaric to say that humanitarian organizations should not go help them because the religion they practice is wrong. There are Muslims in Haiti that are not trying to impose Sharia, and I am sure there are Muslims in Haiti that are not trying to spread Islam. Muslims are human beings too, and they sometimes have compassion and a desire to help those in need, without any ulterior motive. Save your anti-Islam rhetoric for when Muslims actually do something wrong.

Z: Uh, sorry, but using this tragedy to convert people to Islam and promote HAMAS financing is what’s “downright barbaric.” And there’s nothing “humanitarian” about it. You are “sure” that Muslims in Haiti are not trying to spread Islam? Wow, you’re clueless. Earth to Zigo, they’re trying to spread it everywhere. Get a clue. If you truly think there is no ulterior motive, I have some land in Gazastan to sell you. DS

zigo on January 19, 2010 at 2:21 pm

“Save your anti-Islame rhetoric for when Muslimes actually do something wrong” LOLOLOL, Okay I’ve saved my rhetoric for….opps that was all the time I had…Somewhere in the world a Muslim is killing someone as I type this.

“The Israeli field hospital has an Ob/Gyn section, and the grateful mother of one baby delivered there decided to name him, “Israel.”

I read that on another blog yesterday.
http://truthpraiseandhelp.wordpress.com/2010/01/18/israel-does-good/

I thought that was awesome!

God bless Israel

Israel 4 Zion on January 19, 2010 at 4:57 pm

Nak, first of all Haiti has a huge Catholic/Christian presence. So sending Haitians bibles and audio tapes in a time of need to support their faith isn’t new or unusual. Their churches have been demolished and houses flattened. I suspect they won’t have a bible or pastor so easily available. The last thing we need is a large Muslim presence in Haiti. Thankfully Central and South Americans are devout Catholics. We don’t need Muslims on our doorsteps.

Israel 4 Zion, I saw that article and agree it was awesome. Yes, God bless Israel.

CaliforniaScreaming on January 19, 2010 at 5:36 pm

Its hard to see how Islamic Relief is going to proselytize and promote HAMAS financing (truly the most ridiculous part of your reply) if they are partnering with the Mormon church in this project. Is the LDS church a HAMAS co-conspirator now? And considering that their policy is to not engage in proselytizing during relief operations, you would have to believe that all Muslims lie all the time about everything, which you apparently do.

You can argue that this thing is a publicity stunt or whatever, but to say that donating $1 million to earthquake victims is not “humanitarian” in any way is insane!!

And there is no evidence that any members of Islamic Relief are even GOING to Haiti! They are just donating money; Airline Ambassadors will provide for transportation and Food for the Poor will do the distribution. So they couldn’t proselytze even if they tried!

zigo on January 19, 2010 at 5:41 pm

thanks for the plug. wish it were in better circumstances.

I’m just thankful I’m not in Haiti. Those Israelis are just amazing. This for Israel is good to be seen in a positive light by the media… but I’m sure it’s back breaking. They always pay in blood. What they are doing isn’t about faith in their religion… it is grunt work I’m sure.

as for the cultish stuff being pushed that is noted in your post… wtf is wrong with these trolls? it’s a frigg’n disaster… not a marketing opportunity. for certain you see a moment to shine in the international community, but your objective is saving lives, not conversion. saving lives for public relations is fine, as long as you are saving lives and not using your soap box when people are dying.

Noah David Simon on January 19, 2010 at 5:42 pm

Wow — all of this is going to make the fraud, graft and corruption re Katrina look like a model of perfection. The graft, ulterior motives, lack of good faith, opportunism etc. of this Haiti situation is going to become a massive, massive scandal before too long.

Conservatives should call for some kind of oversight or monitoring mechanism over all aid, at least US aid given to Haiti. It looks like every kind of lowlife imaginable is involved in the Haiti boondoggle.

Little Al on January 19, 2010 at 6:10 pm

I just saw on the news that Israel was the first people down there with two 747’s full of supplies and personnel. They have a set up a sophisticated electronic records keeping system and have taken some good control.

I’m sure our military has done a great job too, but I have a feeling unlike the Israeli’s, they are hampered and saddled with cumbersome and useless politically correct protocols, and other nonsense designed to slow down, and tangle up the efforts.

John on January 19, 2010 at 9:11 pm

I hope the Haitians run both the arselifters and the kooky Dune freaks out of town. Why are they even being let it?

Gary Rumain on January 20, 2010 at 9:01 am

When I was in Bosnia in 2001 they had a different game plan, muslim charities only helped muslims, letting every one else rot in their own miseries.

Once the preliminary aid was distributed they build mosques in which Saudi trained clerics were employed to preach the especially virulent but nonetheless orthodox brand of wahabi islam favoured by the likes of Bin Ladin, the Taliban and other pious muslims the world over.

If we had any brains we would bar these koranimal from ever setting foot in Haiti, better yet, bar them from leaving their wonderful Islamic republics of Crapistan to infect the world with their mental illness called islam.

Show the morally bankrupt and irrelevant LIBTARDS that your not as ignorant as they would like you to be by proudly displaying the symbol of the new crusaders.

I am not surprised that islam is not showing a presence in Haiti! Everything there is already destroyed, nothing left for them to blow up!!!!!

Christian and Muslims are the same cult not religion. their main aim is to control the people and the country whether by hook or crook. Convert!convert!convert! and take advantage of natural disaster or create a disater: like war.

Krishna on January 20, 2010 at 12:42 pm

They need to pass out korans, I hear there’s a shortage of toilet paper.

Jim B on January 20, 2010 at 1:28 pm

Truth be told, we Muslims don’t really care what others think of us. You can accuse us of all sorts of nonsense like worshipping so-called “moon gods” and other such garbage, we just don’t care.

The real cults are the so-called Christian “religions” which are the ones that are really rooted in paganism. Case in point, your celebrations of Christmas and Easter, your ridiculous superstitions that God came to earth as a human and was killed by humans, or your naming of the days of the week and months of the year, and even the planetary systems after pagan dieties, we all know who the real “cults” are.

“Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with you (Muslim) unless you followed their religion. Say: “The Guidance of GOD is the (only) true Guidance.” (Qur’an 2:120)

It is GOD Who has sent His Messenger with (the correct) Guidance and the religion of Truth (ISLAM) to prevail over all (other) religions, even though the unbelievers may hate (it). (Qur’an 8:33)

So, go ahead and continue to insult us, mock us, kill us, etc…whatever turns you on…we are proud to be Muslims and rest assured that Islam WILL prevail, no matter how much you hate it!!!

Saracen on January 24, 2010 at 6:52 pm

Islam is a disease of the mind. For those of you that never live in a muslim country, you are so blessed. I was born in malaysia, which is considered a moderate muslim country. Even here, they persecute non-muslim, all the time. Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Silk and all other religions in my country can’t stand this violent cult anymore. Just study their founder and so called “perfect man”, mohammed. You won’t believe what this “moe” did, probably the sickest and barbaric man ever live. Anyway, I love the muslim people, just that I hate this teaching and belief from a devil inspired book and mad pervert prophet call islam. We all should pray for them.

Jay on January 26, 2010 at 3:52 am

Btw, Debbie, thank you for your blog. The world need more brave people like you. I sincerely thank you.

Jay on January 26, 2010 at 3:57 am

Wow, lots of hate here. Let me try and be a voice of reason. Yes, there are radical Muslims, just as there are radical Christians I wouldn’t want to see in Haiti (Pat Robertson, off the top of my head, and radical Jews as well. Actually no religion should go there in the “name” of their religion. If they are only ministering to their own kind, shame on them.
I see more hatred here for Islam, none for the cult of scientology. It is obvious what their motives are, new converts, hence more money. The religion of the stars does deserve everyone’s hatred. Just take a look around at the truth from ex-scientologists. Take a look at those who have died from their belief in scientology.

Vanessa on January 26, 2010 at 4:46 pm

Wow, I see a lot of people hating each other here. I don’t want to condemn any religion or faith. I believe in the oneness of GOD and I believe that Mohammad (Peace be upon him) was His Last Messenger. I actually attended the Islamic Relief Fundraiser for Haiti. It was online and the funny part is that they never mentioned anything about converting the Haitians. They only had the intention of helping them. One of the speakers said “it was reported from Haiti that the people there are praising GOD aloud and praying,” but the speaker here did not make any discrimination about why these people are not calling the name of Allah, or let’s convert them by offering them money. When I attended the fundraiser and when I made a donation I didn’t have the intention of converting the Haitians to Islam but to help them. I think this blog serves a totally different purpose. I think the tears and pain of the Haitians is being misused here. The author’s sole intention here is to play with emotions of the people and create hatred among them, misguide them. It’s a very good thing that Israel is helping them but its not a competition, “Let’s see who donates the most.” Israel is a COUNTRY and Islamic Relief and the Scientology churches are organizations. Get it?!?! I think every single person on this blog should do their own research and then make your own decisions. And please, instead of wasting time writing crap about other religions, go and donate some money for the Haitians and please pray for them, they need your prayers and help, not your hatred.

Mohammad on January 26, 2010 at 9:32 pm

To Jay and all other ignorant hate-mongers on this blog, despite your rants and rhetoric, here is what intelligent people say about the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and the religion of Islam:

“I have always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion which appears to me to possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence which can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him – the wonderful man and in my opinion for from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today.” –G.B. Shaw, THE GENUINE ISLAM, Vol. 1, No. 81936.

“Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him.” Diwan Chand Sharma, The Prophets of the East, Calcutta 1935, p. l 22.

“People like Pasteur and Salk are leaders in the first sense. People like Gandhi and Confucius, on one hand, and Alexander, Caesar and Hitler on the other, are leaders in the second and perhaps the third sense. Jesus and Buddha belong in the third category alone. Perhaps the greatest leader of all times was Mohammed, who combined all three functions. To a lesser degree, Moses did the same.” Professor Jules Masserman

“History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated.” –De Lacy O’Leary, ISLAM AT THE CROSSROADS, London, 1923, p. 8.

“I am not a Muslim in the usual sense, though I hope I am a “Muslim” as “one surrendered to God,” but I believe that embedded in the Quran and other expressions of the Islamic vision are vast stores of divine truth from which I and other occidentals have still much to learn, and ‘Islam is certainly a strong contender for the supplying of the basic framework of the one religion of the future.'” –W. Montgomery Watt, ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY TODAY, London, 1983, p. ix.

“His readiness to undergo persecutions for his beliefs, the high moral character of the men who believed in him and looked up to him as leader, and the greatness of his ultimate achievement – all argue his fundamental integrity. To suppose Muhammad an impostor raises more problems than it solves. Moreover, none of the great figures of history is so poorly appreciated in the West as Muhammad.” –W. Montgomery Watt, MOHAMMAD AT MECCA, Oxford, 1953, p. 52.

“It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme. And although in what I put to you I shall say many things which may be familiar to many, yet I myself feel whenever I re-read them, a new way of admiration, a new sense of reverence for that mighty Arabian teacher.” –Annie Besant, THE LIFE AND TEACHINGS OF MUHAMMAD, p. 4.

Saracen on January 31, 2010 at 4:06 am

It does not matter what all these people that never read the koran and hadith said about mohamMAD, they do not know the true mohamMAD which is told in koran and hadith.

Muhammad motivated his followers to become obsessed in sex and sexual activity; to murder infidels; to stone women to death as throngs of spectators sadistically cheer; to relegate women to second class status or worse; to beat wives untill black and blue; to murder daughters who smile at infidel boys as in honor killings; to torture little girls; to commit suicide as in suicide bombers; to mutilate little girls as in Female Genital Mutilation; to murder females who seek an education; to beat women who are not attired in Muslim rags; to kidnap and use little girls as young as seven years old; to force little girls to “marry” old depraved Muslim male sex perverts; to allow old depraved Muslim male sex perverts to rape little girls as they scream for mercy; to punish petty thieves by chopping off their hands, feet, and gouging out eyes; to murder apostates who no longer wish to participate in Islamic criminal activity; to commit adultery with a prostitute in an over night stand if the adulterer goes through an Islamic sham ritual; to practice hypocrisy; to practice sadism; to hang effeminate males by the neck until dead; to hate infidels and even other Muslims; to use and own slaves as in camel jockeys who are very young children; to own private brothels as in “marrying” multiple “wives” sometimes dozens of “wives;” to tell big lies; to cheat in a big way.

Read your Koran and hadith, it’s all in there. That is what matter. No way is he a prophet from God. No way is a terrorist called by God.

Said on January 31, 2010 at 8:38 am

It’s nice to find a website where we racists can congregate and bash religions we know nothing about, especially those that are very similar to our own, though we may not realize it. I find that the best way to feel good about me and my religion is to spread lies about other religions in the hope that I will make it to heaven. I commend you all for your devotion to hate and anger.

Belive me, this kind of cheap propoganda is no longer convincing. The whole world saw the barbaric Israeli killings of the innocent people in Gaza. We saw Children be crammed in morgues like chekens every night while you sleep deraming in your warm room, people see Israeli death squads commiting manslaughter every day everywhre around the wordl. People see the IILEGAL settlers who occuping iilegaly lands of others how they kill them scare them torture them.
People aware of Golstone who is A zIONIST Israeli telling the truth you are trying in vain to hide. Despite this you are still mocking people and speaking about Islamic terror.. So what we call those killers who occupy others’ property and deny them the right to say No.. what logic what religtion what moral is it?

Saad Abbas on February 3, 2010 at 5:16 am

I have a very eager question: imagine that someone occupied your home, you are going to resist this or you will simply give up and live on the streets, for fear that the occupier and his accomplices who are supporting him will call you TERRORIST? Israel is committing blood curdling crimes against Palestinians. As God does not accept injustice, this proves that killing and oppressing under the name of God is even more horrible. Killers and supporters are lacking the human conscience but they will soon face God to answer to what they perpetrated in this life? I ask the writer why you are supporting this? Just because you are born as Jewish? Did you give yourself the chance for only a short time to think free of religion influence ? As a woman I hoped that you thought about what Jews repeat every morning: (Blessed you are Hashem you didn’t make me a woman)?!! I afraid if you freed yourself for a short time you will not get back to this criminal community, unfortunately you are now on board and you cannot see what other people see from only a short distance. With best wishes

Saad Abbas on February 6, 2010 at 4:45 am

Anyone who is truly interested in knowing the true greatness of the Prophet Muhammad should review the following book:

THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HUMAN HISTORY.
BY
MICHAEL H.HART.

It is a Citadel Press Book.
It is published by Carol Publishing Group.

Dr.Michael H. Hart has meticulously listed the one hundred persons who has most influence in the human history: The Prophet Muhammad came as number one,at the top of the list.

It is interesting to note that the one who is listed in the second place: it is not Jesus, nor is it Moses. Isaac Newton is listed in the second slot.

Jesus is listed in the third position and Moses in the fifteen.

For all the one hundred listed as the most influential in human history, please consult the book which you might be able to find in your local library.

By the way,I am not a Muslim. I was born to Christian father and mother who were devotees to the Greek Orthodox Church. I personally follow no particular religion. You may call me as an AGNOSTIC. Period. I cherish OBJECTIVITY in everything I read, see or hear.

Garo on February 11, 2010 at 5:30 am

Mohammed was listed because of the evil acts of its followers not that he merits it on moral ground…Haitians people and government should resist any Muslim group that came into Haiti at this time as they are looking for an opportunity to set a terrorist base in Haiti and group innocent young men and women into terrorist network.

They did not come to help they came to use this opportunity to convert people

One question: If an LGBTQ “rights” group tried to coordinate relief efforts for Haiti, would that have been a cover to try to spread homosexuality, transgenderism, etc., among young Haitian children and teens? You do have to be careful as to what relief group to support, and this article clearly proves why.
