Boneheaded Move of the Week

By
**** UPDATE: . ****
Leader of Western-style Democracy:

I’ll release 250 violent, murderous terrorists who want to destroy my country in order to show that I support their terrorist group against a rival terrorist group.

Can You Tell The Difference Between the “Good” Terrorists (Left) & the “Bad” Terrorists” (Right)? . . .

Israeli PM Olmert to Release Fatah Terrorists (Left) to Show “Goodwill” for Them vs. HAMAS Terrrorists (Right)

Can you imagine even Amnesty Prez George W. Bush saying that? Can you imagine him saying, I will release 250 vioent Hezbollah terrorists to show my goodwill to Hezbollah against Al-Qaeda?
Well, that’s exactly what incompetent Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is doing of both his own accord and under U.S. pressure. He announced he will free 250 Palestinian terrorists as a “sign of goodwill” toward Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas.
Why is this man–Olmert–still in office? He has an approval rating even lower than that of President Bush–17%. He blew the war against Hezbollah. And he blew every other thing. And he’s the Vice Architect of the withdrawal from Gaza a/k/a HAMASastan. Well past time for his departure.
Beside being yet another incredibly obtuse Olmert movie, there is actually no way to determine that these are actually Fatah loyalists or those who might sympathize with and commit terrorism for HAMAS, once they get out.
Complete absurdity. Who ever said we–the United States–and Israel don’t negotiate with terrorists, is a liar. Both countries do, and this past week’s giant gladhanding of Fatah terrorists and their leader Holocaust-denier Mahmoud Abbas is proof positive of that.
The terrorist in the black headband (usually Fatah) is better than the terrorist in the green headband (usually HAMAS). Go figure. If ever there were a time for color blindness and common sense, this is it.
Almost 6 years ago, President Bush said “You’re either on our side or the terrorists’ side.” How quickly that pronouncement was thrown out the window.
In Hebrew, there is a word: “Shtut” (pronounced “shtoot”)or “Shtus” (pronounced “shtoos”). It has several similar meanings: madness, foolishness, silliness, stupidity.
But I have another definition: Israeli releases of terrorist prisoners. They are constant. They are one-sided. And they are Shtut.
Oh, and by the way, how did Palestinian Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas respond to this Shtut-esque show of “goodwill”? He responded:

We are still determined to work relentlessly to achieve the independence and the freedom of our people.

When a terrorist leader says that–even an arbitratily-designated “good” or “preferred” terrorist–you know what that means: more terrorism. “Relentless” is not a word generally used in conjunction with peace.

When heads of state take advice from think tanks like this – it’s no wonder . . .

Debbie, I have to believe the Israeli people cannot believe their eyes and ears regarding their leaders. Their leadership is just as spineless as our own. I don’t beleive in the whole UFO thing but aliens must have visited earth in the recent past and sucked the brains and spines from all of the leaders of the free world.

Instead of sending them cash, send them low grade weapons (like daggers) that they can not use against Israel (like Qassam rockets), but can use against Hamas. In the meantime, Fatah shouldn’t have a monopoly on Palestinian affairs, so Hamas should be similarly armed as well, so that this Alien vs Predator situation can continue. But no cash – Jihadi countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia or Egypt shouldn’t be enriched.
Also, why is everybody leaving out poor Islamic Jihad in all of this? Arm them as well, so that they too can fight Hamas or Fatah, whichever they prefer. Why should they be left out of this fun?

Bush, Ohlmert, and the EU boys must be on drugs to deal with Abbas (Abbas means “no holcaust” in Arabic) and his cronies–Abbas is really Arafat Jr. (we won’t deal with Arafat–but we love Arafat Jr).
Debbie, how do Israeli leaders/losers like Ohlmert, Peres, and Barak go along with such insanity? We all know that the arms that Ohlmert and Bush want to buy for and even give to Abbas will end up being used on Israel in the end.

People mention that the leader of Iran is trying to bring about armageddon. It’s looking to me like he may not be the only one. We are headed for a very bloody world war and it seems like leaders in the West are helping things along.
The fruits of religion……….

What they should do is put all the 250 captured terrorists under a firing squad.
They need to throw out Olmert and bring back BB.

Ohlmert has got it backwards.
He should release 250 Fatah terrorists to Hamas.
After Hamas executes them Ohlmert should release another 250 terrorists until Hamas executes all 9,000 terrorists living in Israel jails.
With the money Israel saves from housing the terrorists Israel can feed the thousands of Israelis who are living under the poverty line and could use a good jail house meal.
Then Israel should enact the death penalty.

It’s not all bad; the Israeli govt. is doing something good too:

WHat they should do is ransom the terrorist back to the highest bidder. The Mohomedans can appreciate this tactic as they’ve been doing it for 1400 years. Pay up or put him/her to death.

Ok Norm – Tell yourself Maxim is “the news”.

CarpeDiem on June 27, 2007 at 2:02 am

CarpeDiem,
In this particular case, Maxim is the news.
