Passengers Likely Right, FBI Lies About Second Man on Second Flight? UPDATE: Man Could Not Answer Why He Wanted to Go to US

By Debbie Schlussel

****  SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE  ****

Earlier today, I posted excerpts of an article about Kurt and Lori Haskell, Michigan lawyers who were passengers on Northwest Airlines Flight 253.  The Haskells said that they observed a “sharp-dressed man” assist Islamic terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab get on the plane without a passport.  They also said that a second man–perhaps the “sharp dressed man”–was arrested when the plane landed in Detroit.  But the FBI contradicted them, essentially calling them liars and saying no other persons had been arrested.

Just an “Ill Businessman” w/ No Luggage Who Can’t Say Why He’s Going to US

Per usual, the FBI probably lied, as the agency always seems to do in these cases.  This should be a lesson to readers who doubted me or called me a liar, when I posted the story of Tedd J. Petruna, a passenger on an AirTran flight in November, who said that Middle Eastern men refused to get off their cellphones and attempted to stage what was either “testing the system” or a terrorist hijacking dry run.  I trust the passengers far more than the feds, who always tell us, Nothing to see here, move along you little people.  I’d bet the Haskells are right.  And I’d also bet that if Abdulmutallab’s crotch bomb hadn’t detonated, we’d see the same cover up.

That’s why I don’t believe the claim that a Nigerian who was an unruly passenger, today, on the same Amsterdam-to-Detroit flight was “merely ill” and was a “businessman” (as if being a businessman and being a terrorist are mutually exclusive by the laws of nature), as authorities and the airline are now telling us.  I think there’s far more to the story than authorities and Delta Air Line (which owns Northwest) are letting on.  It’s not just that the man spent an hour in the bathroom.  It’s that the FBI arrested him upon arrival in Detroit. Why arrest the guy if he was merely “sick”?  Does this sound like a “merely sick businessman” to you?:

The man, who is in his 30s, reportedly locked himself in a toilet for more than an hour as the plane flew over the US.

Before locking himself in to the toilet the man had already been up and down to the same cubicle several times. Cabin crew became increasingly suspicious, broke the door down and dragged him out. He is then said to have become irate and verbally aggressive.

He was subdued and the pilot contacted the airport to say there was an emergency on board. Emergency vehicles gathered on the runway to meet the plane.

The passengers and crew were evacuated from the plane and the man was formally arrested. Officials said no explosive device had been found on the suspect.

The man had boarded the flight with no luggage.

As I’ve noted in the past, when Detroit Metro Airport police told me a bomb had been found on a Northwest flight right before the Superbowl, then-Northwest (and now Delta) Vice President (and Islamopanderer) Andrea Fischer-Newman e-mailed  and called me in a panic, claiming it was a child’s toy and telling me that I must change what I wrote to reflect that.  Yet, several of the airport cops told me that it was “no way in hell a toy, it was a bomb.”  Northwest and authorities like to cover these things up.  It’s not good for the travel business, and it’s certainly not good for the FBI’s ongoing Islamopandering efforts.

There’s a reason we call the agency, “Forever Butt-kissing Islam.”  The whole reason the Abdulmutallab attack happened in the first place is because the FBI and its leadership were too busy breaking pita at endless “Islamic Outreach” sessions at Ahmed’s Falafel Hut, rather than investigating Abdulmutallab and going to Houston to find out what he was doing there.

****  UPDATE:  It is now 6:05 p.m., ET, and a series of reports on this just aired on Local 4/WDIV, Detroit’s NBC affiliate.  Reporter Frank Holland just did a story, in which he quoted several passengers aboard today’s NWA Flight 253 as saying that, in Amsterdam, prior to boarding the flight, the “Nigerian businessman” who was just “ill” could not answer questions about why he was traveling to the United States.

Yeah, so they let him on the flight, anyway, two days after a Nigerian tried to blow the same flight up.  Geniuses, these security people.

One more thing: take Local 4/WDIV’s “reports” for what they’re worth. This morning, the station interviewed Frank Richter, whom they described as a terrorism expert. In fact, he’s a know-nothing apologist for Saudi Arabia, whom the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia paid after 9/11 to give pandering speeches about, and to write lying, clueless editorials in support of. He actually had the chutzpah to write in the Detroit Newsistan (which didn’t note he was on the Saudi payroll), that Saudi Arabia is now a democracy with “free elections.” That should be news to both the Saudi Royals (esp. King Abdullah) and Osama Bin Laden, who would win there if they actually did have free elections.

They have self-interested reasons not reveal the entire truth. Which we aren’t being told even now. Why would the FBI arrest a “sick person?” There’s more there than is being reported in the media and it all ads up to something very fishy.

It’s just too obvious. This was another attempt just like Friday’s.

Doesn’t everyone fly internationally with no luggage?

John on December 27, 2009 at 6:02 pm

I guess if you’re a gazillionaire Nigerian banker, you just pick up whatever you need when you get there. [Sarcasm]
Gosh, you’d a thunk a laptop at least if it was a quick turnaround trip.

Thanks for this post. We are reading online that people think we are not genuine or are opportunistic, and this is NOT the case. We are simply reporting what we saw, as we do not trust the government to always give all the facts and details. We know what we saw and heard. We are not stating anything but that. We do not know if he boarded without or with a passport. Kurt did hear the conversation about him not having one though.

Anyway, thanks for the positive post. We really appreciate it.

Lori: I believe you and Kurt 100%. You have no motivation in telling–and given the way things are, every motivation against telling–what you saw, since you are only coming under attack for speaking out. You are brave Americans for doing so. Outstanding. We need more like you who are willing to speak out and tell us what the authorities are trying to suppress. DS

I’m so glad we have killed off almost all of the competent terrorists. Now we have to deal with buffoons and wannabes.

Spyglass on December 28, 2009 at 2:18 pm

Here’s the new security rules to make sure this plot never happens again.

Commercial airline passengers may not rise from their seats during the final hour of their flights, according to new government rules announced by some airlines yesterday.

Airline passengers are also barred from having any personal belongings on their laps — not even a paperback novel — during the hour before landing. In that time, all personal belongings must be stowed in carry-on bags and stay off-limits to passengers.

Joe G on December 27, 2009 at 6:19 pm

Attention Religion of Pyrotechnics: In future, all aircraft must be exploded greater than 1 hour prior to landing.

    that is all.

Does this apply to kids too? How ones that are flying without their own parents, only paid escorts? MY grandkids would be in that situation at 9 and 11. Oh boy! The only reason they’re not flying this time is my daughter filed for change in a totally ricidulous visitation that ordered them to be flown EVERY school vacation from HI to NC and no obligation for the dad to visit them. Not only is this an emotional and physical hardship on everyone, the dad is well off and can take the time and darling daughter isn’t, so for her to have to pay half EVERY time is rough. This should help her case because I cannot imagine how an already emotional 9 year old would react to such a scenario. Even the average 11 will be crying for his mommy by the time they landed and who’d blame him? I’m not meaning to go off topic here but I notice the issue of children and their trauma from these situations isn’t addressed. It never is. Surely there are children on these disrupted flights. What security is being instituted to insure they are safe and tended to when all hell is breaking loose. Will a paid companion really keep his/her cool and safeguard these little strangers? Is it even wise to send kids flying around the country with no parent in this day and age? How do these kids cope afterwards?

Osama Bin Laden declares jihad war on the West and the US

Iran’s insane president calls the US the great Satan and vows to annihilate both the US and the little Satan – Israel

Many lethal terrorists attacks abroad and several known groups here plotting against the US via terrorism.

But we are still bending over backwards to radical islamists and now the current president can barely use the word terrorists. Very sad, very sad.

dean grant on December 27, 2009 at 6:23 pm

It’s clearly a measure of what Obama thought of homeland security that he put a dim bulb like Janet Napolitano in charge of the department. Amid her incoherent ramblings and dissembling statements, she’s encouraging passengers to maintain alertness and report any suspicious behavior. But will her department stand behind passengers and flight crews who take her up on that, or is she going to throw them under the plane when Muslims with hurt feelings sue?

Cassandra on December 27, 2009 at 6:31 pm

Debbie- I can’t tell you how many times I was approached in the Federal Inspections Area at JFK by passengers who had been boarded in Europe w/o proper documentation. Usually they were U.S. businessmen who were able to provide enough info to persude a DL rep to “overlook” the oversight. We were always told that DL supervisors were trained to “profile” risk assesments. I am sad to say I am not shocked that they still look the other way. We were even advised that a xerox copy of a U.S. passport was acceptable ident. I almost got fired once for refusing to take responsiblity for over 100 Mexican transists w/o visa transfer to Al Italia- was actually told by a sup- “They’re just a bunch of Mexicans going to see the Pope.”

Mary on December 27, 2009 at 6:33 pm

Debbie-You have a wonderful site. What I find missing in the mainstream media is a failure to clearly identify the ‘terrorists’ for whom they are, to wit, Muslim religious fanatics. Everytime you stand in a long, security line at an airport or local Federal building, remember it was religious fanaticism that caused this inconvenience. It is incredulous that in a scientifically enlightened, 21st Century world, there exists this level of zealotry and contempt for modernity. One can only conclude that religion is indeed an opiate for many people.

dennis vatsis on December 27, 2009 at 7:21 pm

I appreciate Lori Haskell commenting here-I believe that she and her husband are telling the truth. I can’t fault the government for covering up IF their reason for doing so is to protect an ongoing investigation.
But if, instead, it’s the old “Fall back and deny everything because we can’t scare the American people with how very REAL the threat of Islamic jihad has become for our world!”…then their downplaying of the threat does us all a disservice, as it confirms for the terrorists their idea of our ‘cowardice’.
As for the ‘just ill businessman’ in Amsterdam…we didn’t send just one soldier to Omaha Beach, did we?

Douglas Q on December 27, 2009 at 7:24 pm

Debbie, let me get this straight, Ivanna Trump gets escorted off a plan for acting up when children get out of control and the whole world knows. Now some passenger puts an entire plane at risk and the TSA wants to clam up just like with other dry run incidents. Sounds like the Islam protection plan is in effect.

Debbie:

You are my #1 source for info on this story. You are one of the only people who will say the things that need to be said, instead of the PC, sanitized malarky we get in the MSM. I am disgusted that the SAME airline may have let ANOTHER potential terrorist on board just two days after the Christmas escapade. Especially because I live in Atlanta, home to Delta, and I practically get strip-searched every time I try to get on a plane. But they will let undocumented foreigners or people who can’t coherently state why they are traveling just walk on board.

I will say, though, I’m kid of surprised the terrorists would try this so close to Dearbornistan. One of their own could have been killed.

Debbie, thanks for taking this issue so seriously. Also, thanks to Candice Miller who basically stated this afternoon that the would-be bomber should be tortured in order to extract the truth from him.

Larry Nowicki on December 27, 2009 at 8:36 pm

With all due respect-Candice Miller only said that to score “brownie points” for the upcoming election in which she’s seeking the position of Governor of Michigan! She’s just as much a coward as Jennifer Granholm, Carl Levin, Debbie Stabenow & co. Don’t forget all of her “anti-torture” rhetoric pertaining to the Gitmo detainees! The only people I would trust to run Michigan properly (and I lived there up until this past August for the bulk of 35 years & have current & past political ties in the State) would be former candidate, Dick DeVos or Atty General Mike Cox, & since Mr DeVos isn’t running again-I hope AG Cox wins that election! It’s the only prayer Michigan has of turning around after the mess the current State Administration has made! I may have left the state for the warmer weather here in FL, but Michigan will always be in my prayers & in my heart.

Debbie, thank you for this information! I was referred here through Glenn Beck but you can bet you’ll be added to my “regular” list of information we can’t get from the MSM!

    God Bless!

T: Thanks, but you lost me at Mike Cox. He’s a complete Islamopanderer. Bigtime. Look him up on this site. We’ve done a ton on his Islamopandering. Here’s just a little:

You are right on about Candice Miller, though. That bloated whale tried to blackmail Rep. Nick Smith into voting for Bush’s absurd, bloated Medicare bill, and for that, she should rot in hell. DS

Tanya on December 28, 2009 at 7:50 pm

Thanks to Lori Haskell for coming on here and verifying what she and her husband saw. A first-hand witness account is usually more reliable than what is later retold in the media, which is usually far from accurate.

Debbie – do you mean this is another Nigerian national who traveled the same NWA flight today rather than Friday? I don’t know why they would allow a sick person to continue on to the US much less than someone without luggage and who couldn’t provide a credible reason why he wanted to travel here. After what happened Friday, one would think it would have set off alarm bells with Dutch authorities. Nothing of the sort. And I don’t happen to like what is referred to as an *attractive* coincidence. Its just too convenient this kind of thing happens twice over the weekend.

NormanF on December 27, 2009 at 8:42 pm

I second that. Thank you Debbie S. and Lori Haskell.

JeffE on December 27, 2009 at 11:26 pm

Well the Democrats and all too many Republicans want ‘open’ Government, i.e. leaking security secrets to the New York Times, exposing the ‘illegal’ ‘torture’, and sabotaging all the actions designed to give us at least a semblance of security.

It would be nice if these advocates of open government asked the Government to tell us everything about what these creeps were doing and planning over the last few days.

Little Al on December 27, 2009 at 9:09 pm

So according to Napalino and DHS the system has now worked twice to keep a dangerous suspect off a plane and entering the U.S..

Oh wait, they both got a plane ride, subdued by passengers and crew and then arrested and read their rights in Detroit.

That is one hell of a system we are paying for.

ender on December 27, 2009 at 9:46 pm

[tempus fugit – I don’t believe word the FBI says. They’re a bunch of pathological liars.]

[Worry01 – This is really terrifying. What else is being held back?]

I know for a fact (Based on my employment at the time) that the government has held back information from 9/11. I actually know the specifics.

However what we have now is not simply holding back information. I suppose a case good be made to hold back information. The problem now is the malfeasance of those whose duty is to protect us. They would rather be politically correct than “Security correct”.

That we will be hit hard again is not a matter of if but when. However, based on the current experience, my fear is that we will not learn from the next attack either. In essence we have a permanent, non removable “Hit me” sign on our back.

I_AM_ME on December 27, 2009 at 10:19 pm

I have no problem with information being withheld pending an investigation or before a case goes to trial. What I do resent and fear is the suppression of information regarding potential terrorist incidents that our government declines to pursue for reasons unknown.

    Worry01 on December 28, 2009 at 6:18 am

I flew home from JFK on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Some woman jumped the line, and cut past the TSA officer and got into line to go through security. A bunch of us standing there were SHOCKED! Three TSA officers were standing there, but none of them saw it. I and several other people in line started calling over one of the officers, and told him what happened. In the end, they pulled the woman out of line, but I couldn’t see if they allowed her to go back to the line she was in, or made her go to the back of the whole line.

Yeah, I don’t feel at all safe flying any more.

Thank you so much Debbie for not being afraid to post the truth.

Once again this site is the richest source of info on this stuff.

We should all be thankful for people like the Haskells that come forward with the truth.
I would be worried about the FBI taking the criticisms personally. THEY have been shown to be woefully inadequate.

Joe on December 28, 2009 at 12:29 am

I took my first flight ever in a DC-7 and hated it. A few weeks later I took another flight in a DC-3 and while my ears hurt, it was pretty cool. During college, I used to fly the Eastern airlines shuttle from DC to NYC regularly. They used the old Connies which were nice. after Freshman year, Mom and I went to Italy in a 707 and that’s when I started to hate flying, loooooooooog before 9/11. I loved the trains in Europe and started taking the train from DC to NY about half the time when I got back from that trip.
My point is why is everyone in such a durn hurry when they’re on vaycay. Business travel, I get it but if we demanded decent surface trans and got it, getting there would be half the fun. It would also be easier to deal with emergencies when your wheels are still on the ground and a train is not a FLYING BOMB as is a plane. It’s insane. Traveling via a metal tube 30,000 ft above the ground with thousands of gallons of volatile fuel.

It took a lot for me to get on that plane to come to Israel but I still trust ElAl and would not even consider any other airline, not that I plan to leave.

mk750 on December 28, 2009 at 6:49 am

This is nothing new…the state of this country’s security continues to be in question and this just adds further fuel to the fire. These mopes are not only terrorists, they’re ALIENS! Whether or not they come here legally is irrelevant. The puke from the Detroit flight was already on one of the infamous “suspect lists” but nobody picked up on it or knew about it but didn’t want to be bothered?

That’s the the way it’s run now folks…your tax dollars at work. Doesn’t surprise me ICE isn’t in the picture; the idiot wasn’t carrying a knock-off Gucci wallet or wearing a fake NASCAR T-shirt.

icenomore on December 28, 2009 at 6:57 am

This thought just occurred to me. Why are these incidents centered around Detroit? Could it be that with a jury pool that includes Dearbornistan that they figure they might be able to get a hung jury for these Islamists?

JohnH on December 28, 2009 at 7:10 am

Thank you for providing a venue where we can get some honest accounts of what is happening. Like many, I had family flying into Michigan over the course of this month to visit for the holidays and it scares the hell out of me to think any of them could be at risk. When are those, who are supposedly in charge of protecting us from these monsters, going to sit up and take notice of what is going on? Flipping channels this morning I came across a story on CBN about Yemen becoming the next hotbed for terrorism. Here is the corresponding web story. http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2009/August/Is-Yemen-Al-Qaedas-Next-Safe-Haven/ And yes I know it is Christian News. But they made a good point. This is a war of ideas. They have believed this for hundreds of years. Why do we think we can change this in a few short months. It simply is NOT going to happen! Furthermore, is anyone taking notice of the comings and goings into the Detroit- Metro area of Yemeni people? I can tell you many of these people travel to and from Yemen frequently. These are people who are poor. I know what a ticket costs but they are able to take a family of 5 for several months at a time. What do they do there? I am told they visit family. I am not buying it. Will someone PLEASE pull their head out of their behind before it is too late?????

It kind of sounds like? Lets strip search everyone who does’nt look the part. just let the [type] walk by because we dont want to offend? I say lets offend and let them know,to bad so sad! Now get over it or stay out of our country! If you are here to start stuff then stay away! OR ELSE!!!! It is not the job of passengers to do the job of security! If security would do their job and not worry about PC crap! The passengers would not have to deal with this.Just watch! One of these musnuts will sue for assault! One will be killed on a plane and the passengers involved will be arrested! Instead of being called heroes, they will be put in jail for a hate crime! Dont think it can happen? I hope not,but you know some of these islameobuttkissers wil try!

Thanks Debbie for confirming that America REALLY IS FULL OF DUMMIES like yourself and your oh so intelligent readers. What is wrong with you people? A staged tyranny? Believing these “supposed” first hand accounts? LOL All you guys are doing is falling for link bait and helping Debbie sell books! Just like you help Glen Beck sell gold. It would be funny if it weren’t so disturbing. I must admit I do find it creative how you attach the ending “stan” on the city of Dearborn, MI and on the Detroit News. lol Hilarious. But this is just another example of a racist and deathly scared sub section of white America. Why are you guys so scared of non-whites? It’s almost like when you look at a “Muslim” (cause of course they all look alike to y’all and you think it’s a race or something), you probably see a 7ft tall, bulging muscular superhuman that can break out of SuperMax Prisons. I could go on but thinking people get the point. Did you?

Thanks, Debbie.

It’s so important that you keep up this work of publicizing such incidents that the mainstream media either shies away from, spins, or even buries.

Ben-Yehudah on December 28, 2009 at 3:23 pm

Listen, I’m Christian. I’m sure you’re all Christians or Jews. But the difference between you and I is – I DON’T WANT TO SEE THE CRUSADES AGAIN. Let’s not kid ourselves. It’s been Christian vs. Muslims for centuries. Are you ever going to civilize yourselves? 3 incidents in the past 9 years out of 10 of millions of flights is nothing to be afraid of unless you’re a person who is afraid of everything. Live your life. Don’t worry so much…

zerosum1995 on December 28, 2009 at 9:50 pm

zerosum1995: So you don’t want to see the Crusades again?
Do you actually understand why the Crusades were undertaken in the first place? (Hint: it may have had a lot to do with access being cut off to the Holy Land for Christian pilgrims. Who cut off the access? Are you happy for such restrictions, as a Christian?)

I would also have to take issue with your characterization of this being a Christian vs Muslims ‘for centuries’. It is actually a ‘Muslim vs non-Muslim’ war not just for centuries, but from the invention of Islam in the seventh century AD, and mandated by the inventor of Islam: Muhammed, for every Muslim until there are no more non-Muslims in the world. A lesser Jihad it may be, but a required Jihad it most certainly is. Not just a mainstream belief, but a mainstream belief for almost all varieties (and %) of Muslim: Shiite, Sunni, etc.

When someone declares war on you, you are at war whether you like it or not, and whether you believe it or not. To believe that you can ignore it and it will go away is not only foolish but dangerously foolish or willfully stupid. According to the Islamists you are a Kufr, and there will be no peace until you and all other Kufrs die or convert to Islam or become a dhimmi (which only will last until the second coming of Christ, at which time the choices are reduced to Convert or Die).

What makes you think there have only been three incidents in the last 9 years? Do you think that the small number is due to random chance and therefore we should relax the security measures that are in place? You would have to be counting four separate planes hijacked on Sept 11 2001 as one incident right? The Richard Reid attempted bombing as the second? The liquid explosives attempt in 2006 for a transatlantic for the third, and this latest one for the fourth. And these are the most known ones. Unless you don’t consider failed attempts as incidents. The current count of ‘incidents’ is 14,596 since 9/11 (see http://www.thereligionofpeace.com), if you count up all the ‘incidents’, not just the ones involving international aeroplane flights.

I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE THAT POST ON HERE ACTUALLY GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL? BY THE LOOKS OF YOUR COLLECTIVE GRASP OF THE GRAMMAR OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, I WOULD SAY NOT SO MUCH… YOU CAN’T BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY WHEN YOUR TYPES GO TO PROTESTS WITH HUGE SIGNS WITH SPELLING ERRORS. I MEAN AT LEAST KNOW HOW TO SPELL SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM CORRECTLY. AM I WRONG? AT LEAST “BILL” SEEMS EDUCATED. WELL HE’S EDUCATED ON ONE THING, HIS OBSESSION WITH MUSLIMS…

Bill, are you serious with that website? http://www.thereligionofpeace.com When are you people going to realize that all of you are pretty much turning into a white American Al-Qaeda? That website looks like the kind of radical website that these “evil” Muslims run. All unsubstantiated figures and “supposed” facts. That’s PRECISELY how Al-Qaeda brainwashes people and radicalizes them. Do you not see that you’re trying to do the same thing? They also target the lowly and under-educated percentage of a nation’s people. The FOX viewers, the Glen Beck Heads, the Ditto-heads. Those types all lack education and are prime picking for radicalization. The best part is that this whole situation boils down to believing in YOUR STUPID RELIGIONS. America is based on Anti-Religion! Stop trying to change America! So sad… Live your life. Enjoy your life. You will thank me later on in your life…

zerosum1995: You don’t seem to have answered any of my questions. You claim to be a Christian. Let me ask a set of questions you may be able to answer.

As a Christian are you aware that the Crusades were a response to the military takeover of the Holy Land by Islam, the imposition of Shar’ia and the denial of passage of Christian pilgrims access to shrines and places holy to Christians?
As a Christian, are you aware that Islam denies the divine nature of Christ and considers him only another prophet?
As a Christian, are you aware that Islam considers Jesus to have been a Muslim and having practiced Islam rituals and prayers?
As a Christian, are you aware that Islam considers Christianity to be a perverted form of Islam, with the Gospels somehow changed to fool Christians in the six centuries before Mohammed?
As a Christian, are you aware that Islam denies the death of Jesus at the crucifixion and thus the Resurrection three days later?
As a Christian, are you aware that Islam believes that Jesus will return, but to lead the Muslims against the Christians and Jews in a fight to the death with the Muslims supreme?

Does any of this concern you, as a Christian?

Are you really a Christian?

Huge flaw in airport security: Passengers who are security screened in 3rd world countries like Nigeria can then get on other flights in other countries with no further screening. You’ve seen this–when you change planes you are withing the security perimeter and just walk to your next flight.

Solution: No passenger originating in a 3rd world country where security is questionable or inadequate may transfer to another flight without being re-screened. This might have caught the underwear terrorist in Amsterdam.

Obama, are you listening? You can order today that no flight to the US may contain any passenger who has not been screened at a trusted airport.

Hey there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Both are fine, as long as they are ready to get what
you want. Once buyer and seller agree to the contract terms, there are a few other
things to do before you sign on the dotted line. You merely
get one possibility to create a first impression on new perspective customers.
