Flip-Flop-Flip: Latest Mitt Romney Reversal on Immigration
By
Today’s Wall Street Journal Washington Wire informs us that the Mitt Romney campaign has flip-flopped yet again on immigration:
While Romney bashes immigration bill on campaign trail, his economic adviser Mankiw signs letter calling it “the most far-reaching and thoughtful reform . . . in four decades.”
Flip-Flop-Flip . . . it’s like doing contortions–keeping track of where Mitt Romney stands on important issues. Do you know where he’ll stand if he gets to the White House? Don’t look for him to get past Hillary in a debate.
You simply can’t trust this guy. As I’ve written before, The man –but loves it when he’s running for President.
Romney is a Liberal.

I was hoping for better stuff from Mitt Romney.
Sadly however, he’s no differant than his old man George Romney who performed a spectacular “flip-flop” on Vietnam when he decided to run for president back around 1968. Yup…George Romney, like John Kerry was for the Vietnam war until he was against it. He explained his “flip-flop” at a news conference as having resulted from the fact that he had been earlier “brainwashed” by the US military during a VIP visit to the theatre of operations but now sees things more clearly since deciding to run for president.
His stupid proclamation of having been brainwashed drew a lot of humorous comment here at home but gave a lot of encouragement to the NVA/Vietcong enemy just as Harry Reed and the libs have done for al qaeda. And probably also contributed to an increase in US casualties.
To the credit of the American electorate at the time, they saw right through phoney George Romney and dumped him hard in the remaining primaries.
I guess the Romneys just have an instinct for self destruction.
