ICE Investigations Czarina Wastes Your Tax $s Responding to Schlussel

By
What’s the number one priority of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)–immigration enforcement and investigation of money laundering . . . or responding to Debbie Schlussel?
Unfortunately, for American taxpayers and national security, it appears to be the latter.
Remember the that was put in place to cover up ICE news and developments reported on my site? Well, it looks like ICE PoRN has sprung into action–beyond silly e-mails, memos, and task forces.

Marcy “Black Ass” Forman-Friedman a/k/a “Peppermint Patty”:

Chieftess of ICE Anti-Schlussel Task Force

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in the know tell me that ICE Director of Investigations Marcy Forman-Friedman a/k/a will be spending the summer on your tax dime, traveling the country to hold “Town Hall” meetings for ICE agents in every Special Agent in Charge office in the nation in order to “quell rumors”–ie., provide disinformation.
Peppermint Patty is the boss of all ICE Special Agents in Charge (including her pet, Michigan/Ohio SAIC and friend of Islamic terrorists, If there is an investigation into illegal alien smuggling or marriage fraud, she’s the ultimate boss on it.
Don’t worry. I have my ear to the ground, and I’ll be employing my own truth squad to respond to any untruths–and I’m sure there will be many–that Peppermint Patty tells at these meetings. But I’ll need your help, if you are an ICE agent: Please send me e-mails about what she’s saying.
I’m veeeeery interested. And I’m especially curious why a Dirctor of Investigations for the nation’s immigration enforcement arm isn’t concerned much with immigration enforcement.
Morale is at an all-time low at the agency. Lying and covering up reality won’t change that. When you tow the company line too much, sometimes the line stretches and breaks.

“I have it on real good authority, that Director Forman is not the least bit pleased with the way that office has been run, post merger. While 25 “offices around the country are doing everything they can to cross-pollinate groups and offices, NY is still working the way it always has (Customs over here, INS over there). You might say, why didn’t she do anything about it? I don’t have the answer to that question my friend, but I know the incoming SAC will have marching orders to get it done yesterday.” (EVS)
OMG! The DAWG actually thinks this is the solution? SIR, this is the problem. Watch for SAC/NY morale to hit an all time low. I’m not DeeIced but appreciate the cover. And sir, there is no person on earth more clever than JC. If you don’t believe it. Just ask him. He EARNED that Masters Degree in management by machete.
“Amen brother, Amen. The new ICE agents are the future of this agency, and the last thing we need is the disgruntles filling their heads with all that negativity. The only thing a baby agent can bring to the table is a good attitude, and a willingness to work. I remember back in the day, when I would have paid Customs to do this job. It was fun, exciting, challenging, and rewarding.” (more EVS nonsense)
If only EVS had a brain…Is this guy for real? There is no way he can be serious? Look at this agency! If it wasn’t so sad, it would be funny. ICE = Cold, lifeless, DEAD. Our badges say ICE? WTF? No Immigration & Customs Enforcment, just ICE. And EVS believes 96% of the agents are very happy, content, proud to be ICE men/women? How many do you know that feel that way?
EVS has no credibility. He’s off his meds. You guys keep trying to give him credibility. Move on to anther post. EVS is a whack job. Sources report that DS is on the trial of EVS. He’s a broken record and a NUT.
EVS- THIS is your brain on crack. The rest of you, check out USAjobs today and GO GATORS.

JaxBeachBum,
As usual, you mostly call names and try to insult your opponent, because you aren’t smart enough to fight fair. Pitiful.
You say “OMG! The DAWG actually thinks this is the solution? SIR, this is the problem. Watch for SAC/NY morale to hit an all time low.”
The SAC/NY office is going to have to do the tough stuff that the rest of us have already completed, namely collocation and merging of groups.
If you think this is the “problem” you are out of touch with reality. Not blending the two sides into one workforce continues the “us” and “them” attitude, and is largely responsible for the problems that currently exist in NY.
It is going to be painful, as it was everywhere else, but in the end, it will make things better.

I have no credibility? I think you must be looking in your mirror sir. DS is on the “trial” of EVS”. What the hell does that mean? Did you mean on the “trail”? You are a funny guy. LOL
I have plenty of credibility, and stand ready to take on all comers, including the handicapped like you Jaxbeachbum/deeliced.
Have a great day & work safe,
EVS

Ay, ya yay, DeeIced my man. You are confusing. If you were indeed a case maker and productive agent, I would see it very hard to beleive that you were bumped down to a 13.
First of all, your saying that you put great cases on the table, but yet your management kicked you down anyway. Well, I say your either an extreme problem child waiting to be diciplined for some major malfunction or your a legend in your own mind. Just because you have that many years on doesn’t mean you have done anything for the agency. But, just coast-on my friend and let the other hard working agents do the work for your. I’m sure they don’t need your help.
Oh, and calm down on your typing. It is hard to read.
You all take care.

My Bre,
Has anyone else noticed that the Everliving Lapdog has still not offered anything worthwhile here? He keeps validating the pointed questions and be-bops around until we lose interest and check out what’s on Ebay. EVS, is there no porn on your laptop to keep you occupied? “I’ll be back after the weekend. I have important stuff to do…” blah-blah, then, miraculously, like a bad penny, he’s back. I think EVS is an egomaniac who gets off on stirring it up. His ‘condition’ manifests itself in being the guy with all the answers (who offers none) and the supposed connections to the 7th floor. Calling the honchos by first name in a blog is pretty damned unimpressive. Even if you do know them well, is that supposed to oooh and aaah the troops? As posted before, if he’s the best they’ve got, ICE is in worse shape than I thought. Take your bipolarism and hypocrasy to the shrink, let real agents vent their frustrations, and quit spewing all that crizznap about ‘my people’. I don’t have any ‘people’. Does anyone else have ‘people’? What a self-edifying blow hard punk. Go lecture and pontificate to your peeps. They probably listen to you because they have to. I think the figurative Bastille Day is coming and if you want to hitch your horse to the current ICE administration, go ahead. The proverbial guillotine will be very impressed. Politic safe, EVS.

There is a lot of anger being posted here, and I’d like to restore some civility to the debate.
Management, whoever thay may be, whether posting to this site or not, have yet, in my humble opinion, to answer some very salient questions regarding ICE and where it’s headed in 1, 3 and 5 years. As I have previously stated, my impression is that legacy agents from both sides are being forced to the fringe in order to make room for the new generation ICE agents who have no legacy baggage to carry. As I also stated, I think it is going to be a major problem for ICE with all these newbies, and noone to pass down the “real life” institutional knowledge to the ones who have to work the field for the next 5, 10, 15 and 20 years.
What I’m afraid of is, unlike legacy Customs, which enjoyed career longevity with its agents, the new “pure” ICE agents will quickly absorb the ether of the lack of direction and mission currently floating around in the agency, and will probably use ICE as a stepping stone for either the FBI or ATFE, which seem to be the “in” places to be right now. As for leadership, we’ve been through 2 Assistant Secretaries in 4 years, and the current one cannot even make it through Senate committee; a real vote of confidence to anyone watching from the outside.
My sources tell me Julie Myers will be in Miami on Wednesday to meet with senior managers and see the progress of the new SAC office there, slated to open in the late fall. Memories of Ms. Myers’ snub of Miami last year due to her disagreements with the former management team are still fresh on many agents’ minds there, and it will be interesting to see what message she brings with her to South Florida which, at one time (although many say no longer) was THE premier office in the legacy USCS, now relegated to AAA ball status in the new ICE.
Any comments/opinions/feedback welcome.

4EVERCUSTOMS on June 11, 2007 at 8:15 pm

So let me get this straight. Over 10 days, June 1st to June 11th, there have been, as of 8:15p.m., 42 posts to this article. Of those, EVS has responded approx. 39 times, DeeIced 11 times, Q2thecore 9 times, lsellers 8 times, 4EVERCUSTOMS 7 times, and less for the rest (including my one). Some posts were productive, others not.
What is amazing to me, is the lack of response by the originator of this article. Ms. Schlussel usually responds fast and strong to opposers of her views/beliefs.
I am not taking either side to the debate here, only noting a (IMHO) glaring lack of support by one who presumably can argue the strongest against ICE, but has not. I wonder why when several of her avid followers have asked for her feedback?
Curiosity killed the cat, but I would like to know why.

True American on June 11, 2007 at 8:40 pm

Dear “True American”:
I cannot answer for Ms. Schlussel; only she can answer your question if she so chooses.
As for myself, and speaking for myself only, I have posted many times to this site in its two years because I have a tremendous stake in the future of this agency – I’m too young to retire, and too old to go anywhere else. I can choose to disengage from the process of debate and making things better to whatever extent I can; however, in doing that, I would be living a less than genuine or authentic existence in that I would be collecting $ 105K a year for doing little more than surfing USAJobs and this site all day from my cube, and I think the American people deserve better than that.

4EVERCUSTOMS on June 11, 2007 at 10:30 pm

For those that are looking for the purpose of ICE in this blog are looking in the wrong place. It starts in Washington folks, and until they fully understand what reality is in the field of Immigration, narcotics smuggling, fraud, etc., it will be hard to change. Those that need to school those in the hill are those hard working agents with integrity and the desire to change the tide. And of course, those that make the changes happen are willing to listen.
Each one of us in management that desire this change need to recruit and promote those that desire the change as well. Keep the pool of the positive thinkers and the fighters growing. I’m one to admit that we have lowered ourselves in many ways. Although we have some good ICE rookies coming on, there are many that just want a job and money. It doesn’t help that we now have structured interviews where we don’t have much of a choice in whome we choose. At times it may seems like almost anyone can get hired at ICE OI.
I try to give encouragement and leadership to those agents that have a slow start. Some have had a slow start for years, and sad to say that they will always run in first gear.
Maybe we’ll be lucky and have a different Administration next year and a good change for once.
Good nite all.

PepeLePew! on June 12, 2007 at 1:20 am

4EVERCUSTOMS,
I too am an avid reader of this site when it pertains to ICE (and Terrorism). Unlike you though, I post very little. I do so, as most of what I would say would not be productive. I usually don’t mind debating issues, but this is not the place/time to do so. I think the positive thing about this site has been the theraputic value it has brought to agents needing to vent or needing answers they aren’t getting from management.
Like you, I want to see an ICE that America will be proud of, with leadership that the field agents would follow into hell and back.
I agree with you that it is easy to say, “Go get another job.” It is true that it is the final answer, but very unrealistic when one has bills, family, and ties/roots to an area. The problem is when an American is looking for a job and can’t find one, or has to take what they get; then they see someone making 105k a year who is unhappy, they are vocal about saying they will do your job for 105k a year. This allows some management to have the view, “If you don’t like it, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.”
Please do not disengage from posting on this site. Most of your posts are productive, though I have to say that the name you have given yourself says a thousand words; and IMHO is one/part of the overall problems plagueing ICE. I am not saying that you shouldn’t love what USCS was, but refusing to embrace the monster you have been given can only cause you pain. No one signed up with USCS to enforce immigration laws, but that USCS is gone, plain and simple.
The thing about immigration is, it is such a political football that it will never be enforced properly. The good thing about it is when those political winds change, so will ICE’s focus. It will never go away completely though, so you will have to accept the fact that at times, you will have to enforce immigration laws. Unfortunately for you, right now, immigration is a hot topic in congress, so it is a hot topic for America.
Like I said before, go to work, do your job, then go home, kiss your wife, and enjoy those little smiling faces. They are really what matters, even though investigating is in my blood. Like everyone else, I get frustrated, but getting tackled with love as I open the door to my house is the best medicine.
God Bless you and your family.
True American
BTW: Why the emphasis(quotes before and after) on True American? I do not like to take things wrong, so I am asking before I make a judgement.

True American on June 12, 2007 at 6:48 am

One more thing. EVS, thank you for trying to help those that seek answers. As you know though, critics come a dime a dozen and no matter what you offer, it will never be enough to satisfy nor to calm their negatism outlook or doomsday fears. That’s their nature.
I for one, and first to admit I didn’t start out that way, appreciate now what you have been trying to do. You are still hopeful for this agency as I try to be and your positive attitude is refreshing and what we need to change it for the better. Although, I did not agree on some issues, I am on your team.
Que siempre camines por la sombra, mi amigo.
Thanks again.
Take care all.
