Oy, (Grand)Son of Jimmuh: Third Generation of Carters Gets Into Politics, Won’t Answer Israel Questions

By Debbie Schlussel

Some political families are like herpes.  You just can’t get rid of ’em.  And so it goes for the family of Jimmy Carter.

Like Herpes: HAMAS’ Jimmuh Returns in Form of Grandson Jason Carter

Jimmuh’s grandson, Jason Carter, says he’s planning to run for the Georgia State Senate, for a seat representing DeKalb County.  Lucky Georgia.

Oh, and by the way, we should worry about this, because just like Granddaddy, I’m sure “Jasuh’s” political ambitions don’t stop with the State Senate.

And he’s already slimily avoiding answering whether he agrees with Grandpappy’s anti-Israel, pro-HAMAS/pro-Hezbollah “work.”

Double Oy:

On Wednesday night, the grandson of Jimmy Carter hosted a gathering in Decatur to launch his campaign for a state Senate seat that is not quite available yet.

Jason Carter, 34, is the first of the former president’s grandchildren to seek public office. . . .

The former president, who left his state Senate seat in 1966 to make a first run for governor, has endorsed his grandson’s venture. . . .

Jason Carter aims to replace David Adelman, who has been nominated by the Obama administration as ambassador to Singapore — but who has yet to be confirmed by the Senate.

Adelman is Jewish, as is a healthy portion of Senate District 42, a Democratic slice that covers downtown Decatur and western DeKalb County, including the Emory University complex.

In case you don’t follow the subtleties of foreign affairs, Jimmy Carter’s relationship with the pro-Israel faction of the world has been somewhat shaky these past few years.

The situation isn’t lost on Jason Carter, whose pro bono work has included a legal challenge to the Republican-backed law requiring voters to supply photo ID.

A mini-resume sent out by his campaign is topped by a citation for his “efforts to protect voting rights” — from the Anti-Defamation League.

Big whoop. Yeah, the ADL, which cares more about siding with the American left and anti-Semites therein than supporting Christian and conservative friends of Israel and the Jews.

“You and I both know that the Georgia Senate doesn’t set Middle East policy. And I don’t think anybody would want it to,” Jason Carter said in an interview that preceded his Wednesday kickoff.

Uh, no. What we know is that the Georgia Senate is a stepping stone for this Carter grandson cretin to help carry out his grandpa’s anti-Israel, pan-terrorist views, once he gets to Congress or whatever higher office he eventually seeks. And notice that Jasuh won’t say he disagrees with Jimmuh.

Time to nip this guy in the bud now, not when he becomes an unstoppable boulder rolling down the hill. And Capitol Hill.

Will be watching his campaign finance records to see how much Islamic money the dude gets.

Yes, I also love how he opposes the use of photo identification for voting. He must be hoping for a big illegal alien turnout, courtesy of ACORN.

    Dittos Worry01—
That stance on that photo ID issue is enough to say “off with this idiot!”

I can’t believe Georgia will go for this Carter–and the anti-Israel aspect, I am sure it will help to secure his losing the election.

I see he has the same peanut eating grin as his terrorist sympathizing gramps. Obviously a goober from the same rancid cluster.

SouthernOps on December 10, 2009 at 1:06 pm

Jimmuh seems to pass on the “hit with an ugly stick gene”. Big time.

Will we ever be rid of the Carters, Kennedys and Clintons?

lexi on December 10, 2009 at 2:23 pm

Debbie, now the thread works! Thanks for getting to it fast.

Anyway, Jason is just a better looking version of Jimmy Carter, with basically the same outlook. If four years of Barack Obama isn’t to school American Jews to stop supporting politicians who embrace Islamists and Israel’s enemies, nothing will. For sure, we don’t need to see the Grandson Of Carter – in Congress or anywhere else. One Carter was all it took to make a mess of this country. That’s an experiment we would do well not to have inflicted upon us again.

NormanF on December 10, 2009 at 1:25 pm

NormanF: Got to disagree with you. Grandson is every bit us homely as Jimmuh. Just give him a few years.

Grandson kind of gives me the creeps. He gives off a pervert vibe. Just something about that sh*t eating smile.

lexi on December 10, 2009 at 4:38 pm

NormanF, with all due respect to Georgian Jewry, I’m sure that what counts in Georgia is the general vote of the state’s vastly non-Jewish population to chose anyone else but this varmint.

The question in general is haven’t Americans learned enough by now?

Shy Guy on December 10, 2009 at 1:28 pm

Oh, trust me–there will be an abundance of self-hating, groveling, and hand-wringing lefty Jews supporting this creep.

Hay Debbie try reading a book every once in a while. If you would have read Jimmy Carter’s book “Palestine Peace Not Apartheid”, you’d see that he clearly sets out his views of both sides of the Palestinian Conflict. Sure Carter wasn’t the best President but he sure as hell didn’t screw up as bad as George W. Bush.

Slick Willy on December 10, 2009 at 2:54 pm

Yessir, I guess we had to expect a few vacuous comments from the Carterites.

Two of the main points of the book: Mr. Carter asserts that “Israel’s continued control and colonization of Palestinian land have been the primary obstacles to a comprehensive peace agreement in the Middle East.”

Also, the title, Peace not Apartheid. Anyone with an IQ higher than a moron can understand that Carter is saying Israel is imposing apartheid. Sure sounds even-handed to me.

There’s an old saying in Georgia – “Y’all c’n pick yer nose an’ y’all c’n pick yer friends, but y’all cain’t wipe yer friends on th’ couch!” – Just how this is in any way relevant to Debbie’s observations, ah cain’t say! 🙂

Darn it, We should’ve neutered Jimmy years ago when we had the chance!

Good grief. What, what, a Nancy Boy!

That guy IS WAY too feminine for me. Damn, I hate fairies.

I bet Debbie could take this guy in under two minutes.

“Some political families are like herpes. You just can’t get rid of ‘em.” Another great zinger, Debbie. Not a pretty picture, but true all the same.

“Yeah, the ADL, which cares more about siding with the American left and anti-Semites…” SHOULD THIS SURPRISE anyone? Look it how Himmler manoeuvred the Jewish community leaders in the Jewish ghettos in Poland. Soon they were working against their fellow Jews that sought to protect.

Those *leaders* could only see the trees in front of them, AND NOT the movement in the forest. The allegiance with the ADL is for today but as Libs, Islamists, pagans and atheists gain strength, they will dispense with those pale-blooded Jews.

Only political Islam can work alongside totalitarianism, happily.

Judaism, and Christianity, or rather Catholicism, are far too lofty in outlook. They will always condemn totalitarianism as a political philosophy. They will always fight it. Eventually—

Just how is challenging a law requiring voters to show a photo I.D. “protecting voting rights?”

Miranda Rose Smith on December 11, 2009 at 1:49 am

Goofy Amy Carter attended my university and was expelled for not attending classes. She was too busy “demonstrating” – that she is an idiot!

JulieJ on December 11, 2009 at 12:44 pm

Where I live we have to produce our voter id card and photo id before casting a ballot. Takes less than 10 secoinds. In a different county in the same state they do not ask for id. Guess which county has the most illegal aliens?

Greg on December 12, 2009 at 12:28 am

sick willy – just by using the word “apartheid” Carter was trying to demonize Jews and Israel. I saw him being interviewed by Bill Moyers once. He sarcastically referred to Jews as the “Chosen People”, his voice dripping with venom and contempt while his face and neck glowed red with hatred. Carter is a fanatic, dyed-in-the-wool antisemitic bigot who hates Jews right down to the marrow of his bones. One of the biggest shames of my life is that I actually voted for this Jew-baiting POS.

Gary Rosen on December 12, 2009 at 2:52 am

Gary Rosen: I actually voted for this fugly piece of garbage too. But that was the last time I voted for a Democrat.

Jimmuh gets a lot of Saudi money.

Those bloggers in support of Israel must be either Jews, or some more of the many Americans that are simply “Uncle Toms” for the Jews, be they white or black. Are ye not aware that Israel and ALL Jews everywhere are anti-Jesus? They do not care about the founder of the religion called Christianity, which most of you are, who like most others are shamefully afraid of Jews. Which is sickening. Jews do not believe in the virgin birth, the resurrection, nor that Jesus was the Messiah, and even think that Christians belief in the Trinity makes us worshipers of THREE (3) Gods. Some even refer to Mary as a harlot. And say that his real dad was most likely a Roman soldier whose named was Panthera. — Rev. George Brooks of Murfreesboro, TN.

I would rather give my support to a Jew over a Muslim any day.
