Hypocrite of the Week: Airhead Faux-Conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck
As I’ve noted on this site before, “View” hag and faux-conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck is possibly the most vacant personality on television. And definitely the most annoying. That’s sad because she supposed to be a conservative. Emphasis on the word “supposed.” And that’s exactly why Baba Wawa and ABC picked her for their insipid daytime ode to dumb chatter.
Airhead “View” Hag Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Out Federal Air Marshals, Not Lesbians
Hasselbeck praised Barack Obama Supreme Court choice Sonia Sotomayor, agreed with Obama that police officer James Crowley “acted stupidly” and was “racist” for arresting Henry Louis “Skip” Gates, Jr. at his Cambridge, Massachusetts home, and praised both Al Sharpton and Snoop Dogg. Yup, that’s your “conservative.”
Now, though, this airhead has not only displayed her vapidity, but also her hypocrisy. She had no problem outing the identity of a Federal Air Marshal, but she’s upset that a celebrity was outed as gay. Priorities, Shmiorities. Hypocrisy, Shmypocrisy.
Last week, left-wing, uber-gay blogger Perez Hilton (real name: Mario Lavandeira) was on the daytime hag-fest, and came under attack from Hasselbeck for “outing” actress Meredith Baxter as a lesbian (even though she’d been openly out as a lesbian on gay cruises, etc.).
I have no love for Perez Hilton/Lavandeira. But talk about hypocrisy and idiocy in the priorities department. Hasselbeck, earlier this year, vacantly outed a Federal Air Marshal on national TV, giving out his full name, where he sat on the plane, the cover story that he tells to passengers, and even what flight he was on and at what time it arrived in Los Angeles from New York. The transgression was so bad that the Federal Air Marshal Service had to contact ABC to get that segment of the show removed for the next time they aired it, in re-runs. Talk about an airhead. Stupid chick. Vacant, vacant, vacant.
Hmmm . . . outing the identity and methods used by a Federal Air Marshal to the world versus letting us know that a rather butch has-been actress is a lesbian–which of these is the bigger outrage? Which harms Americans and our well-being and national security more.
Can’t blame an airhead for getting her priorities straight. And for being a hypocrite. Right?

No… seeing as her thinking and reasoning skills are close to zero. I don’t think she can articulate a conservative argument if her life depended on it. But that’s why they love Hasselbeck on “The View.” She makes it easy to dismiss conservatives as people one should even debate.
