About a year or so ago I was listening to Michael Savage who was claiming there have been several unreported incidents of passengers on planes trying to charge the cockpit (do doing similar things). He was convinced these were dry runs.

By they way I have written to US Airways multiple times to get out of the settlement with the flying Imams or I would publicize the fact that by committing to this settlement they were endangering the flying public by providing incentives not to report and act on potentially dangerous situations. Despite the fact that they promise a response within 3-5 days, they only responded the first time.

Can anyone help me with this? I want people to not fly US Air until they get the message. How do I go about doing this?

It is disgusting how many TSA agents at Washington Dulles International Airport are Muslim wearing their headscarfs. When I was flying to Europe this summer, I couldn’t believe how many more there were at Dulles than just a few months before.

This is part of their jihad. They enjoy making non-Muslims uncomfortable because they think it places them above us, and they do anything they can to reach positions of power, whether in the TSA, the FBI, the CIA, police departments, the military, etc. They want to make us submit, and by our nation becoming PC, we have submitted.

Ted Petruna and the Texan guy are heroes. If more Americans behave like them, this will send a strong message that even though our government is PC and pandering to Muslim barbarians, Americans won’t go that route so fast.

All I can say is WOW!
First and foremost I applaud these men, and all the passengers who got off the flight. I just got back from Croatia a month ago, and thank G-d nothing like this took place.
We must all be aware that our safety is our responsibility and thanks to the Muslim government we now live under, We are all We have left……
I personally will not board any flight with any “obvious” looking Muslim getting on board. Although I’m sure that when an attack happens again(and I believe it will) they won’t look obvious….But I’ll do what I can.

I’ve seen this on several websites today that normally are pretty thorough in their vetting of stories such as these. All were adamant about taking this with a grain of salt. There certainly are a variety of “versions”. SNOPES adamantly debunks it and it is difficult for me to believe that given the alleged level of disruption, more people couldn’t testify to the validity of the claim. I also am wary of the notion that somehow an entire new flight crew was made available within minutes to continue on with the flight. Something about this story just doesn’t ring true.

B: I contacted Tedd Petruna, and he recently called me back and confirmed the story. I believe him 100%. And FYI, Snopes needs to be de-Snoped. Snopes is completely unreliable, very left-wing, lies about things, tells the opposite of the truth in a number of cases, and gets a lot of things wrong. Why would you rely on some left-wing couple from California to decide the truth for you? DS

I don’t think this was a dry run. I actually think it’s a new tactic entirely. This new tactic is “non-violent terrorism”. In other words, they engage in behaviors which lead people to believe there is an attack. The passangers are terrorized, and yet there is no actual attack. The loud, defiant behavior is designed to instill fear. If it were a dry run, the 11 men would have been quiet, observant, inconspicuous.

This “non-violent terrorism” allows the perpetrators to create fear, but pay no price. Quite the opposite, as in the flying imam case, they are rewarded.

It’s a dry run to evaluate who responds, e.g., US Marshal, where they sit at, because even a US Marshal has a preferred area for his mission. How many Stew’s they could destract, how passengers responded, what works as a diversionary tactic. How much resistance, etc. The system is under evaluation and is being tested.

Petruna is now backing off his statements about how the men were dressed and admits he never saw anyone watching porn but says the rest of his story really is true. He states he can’t go on camera for personal and financial reasons. TSA says they never sent anyone aboard the plane and they are treating it as a customer service issue. The FAA and the FBI are investigating and are looking to interview other passengers. This will be an interesting story to follow.

I have walked off 4 different flights so far since 9-11. I will not fly if there is more than one of these degenerates on my flight. I have beed hastled by everyone from TSA to Homeland Insecurity. I have been told that I am causing trouble that I should just take my seat and shut up. To which I reply NO! I refuse to be a victim just because you people in “authority” are too big of cowards to stand up to these people.
I have been threatened with arrest, with being banned from flying to which I have the perfect solution. If your confronted with this situation explain to the Gestapo agent in charge that your right to a phone call will be made to the press. All of a sudden attitudes change and your booked on the next flight 🙂

This summer when I would take the metro to downtown Washington every day, on two separate occasions a different big, fat, ugly Muslim woman (redundant) in long dress (even in the summer heat) and hijab came on the crowded red line with a gigantic backpack.

It makes people uncomfortable, but everyone just sits there doing nothing. I would get off the next station and wait for the next train.

They probably go and report to their imams how the dry run went, who then gives the info to terrorists. Or else the barbarians get a kick out of making Americans uncomfortable, which is part of their jihad as well.

I agree with those who detect something fishy in this story. It hasn’t been covered anywhere. And as for Debbie’s ‘fact-checking’ – -asking the guy who is behind the story if it’s true, isn’t exactly journalistic acumen. In the imam incident, the airlines acknowledged the incident took place, as did TSA. Interesting that there’s nothing about this from them…maybe it never happened. Maybe this Petruna guy got all freaked out seeing ONE guy who didn’t get off his phone? I don’t buy it. The Truth:
There was an incident on Tuesday November 17, 2009 that caused pilots of AirTran flight 297, servicing Atlanta, GA and Houston TX, to return the Boeing 717 aircraft to the terminal but it was not terrorist related. The passengers of flight 297 that day had a 2 1/2 hour delay because of a language barrier and a passenger using a cellular phone.

Christopher White, a spokesperson for AirTran, told TruthorFiction.com that the incident was a result of a non-English speaking passenger who was unable to understand and comply with instructions from flight attendants regarding his electronic device. White also told TruthOrFiction.com that in no way was the passenger suspected of any terrorist plot or activities and that no TSA agents or police officers boarded the plane when it returned to the terminal.

According to November 19, 2009 report by the NBC News affiliated in Atlanta, GA, a group of 12 non-English speaking passengers and their translator boarded the AirTran flight to Houston in Atlanta.

When the plane began to taxi to the runway one of the non-English speakers was spotted by a flight attendant using his cellular phone. His translator was many rows back so was unable to tell the caller of the Federal Aviation Administration rules that requires all electronic devices to be turned off during take off and landing.

Not understanding what the flight attendant was saying, the caller continued his conversation. This resulted in the flight attendant alerting the Captain of the jetliner, who decided to return the plane to the terminal.

Once safely at the terminal, the caller and the translator were asked to exit the aircraft and the rest of the non-English speaking group followed. When the mix-up was all sorted out all members of the group were allowed to return the aircraft which was still at the terminal. At that time, twelve other passengers who were waiting on the plane “decided they didn’t want to fly on the plane and they all got off.”

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident but nobody was detained and no charges were filed. Click for NBC Story.

Everyone assumes that everything we read in the news today is a conspiracy or a hoax–or both. If it comes out that this story is made up, am I now supposed to feel guilty for having racist thoughts? Is that the PC way to react? Has our group thinking as a society gone to the point of complete denial? If our news/media/opinion makers have us so twisted-up that we can’t believe anything we read, then how can we even believe everything we think?

True or false, this story COULD be true. Some would argue that it’s propaganda and was created to fuel islamophobia. It wasn’t islamophobia that brought down our buildings on 9/11. It wasn’t islamophobia that broadcast beheadings straight to our living rooms. This isn’t fantasy, this is reality.

Its plausible that Muslim hijackers could try again so it doesn’t really matter what is true and what is false. Its the attitudes and actions BEFORE another attack that will make the difference between a loss and a victory for life as we know it.

In my limited flight experience, I have been on planes where first class passengers are seperated from common folk by a mere curtain. Also, I would assume that one of the cell-phone guys was there in first class, and his loud blabbering on the phone, in ARABIC no less, would have caught the attention of the passengers. Plus there is no reaon Tedd wouldn’t have looked towards the back or, perhaps, have conversed with the witnesses who were in the back, is there, to gain more information on what happened?

Having been trained in security for our congregation, and continuing that training, I know a few ways to make one of these towel-headed jerks eat pavement, with minimal effort on my part. I refuse to go down without a fight.

The truth is rarely broadcast on major news networks, and if the gov’t doesn’t want that truth out, there is no hesitation to threaten witnesses.

Just look at the Ft. Hood terrorist…he is seen as mentally unstable, yet witnesses said he shouted “allahu akhbar” before firing. That was an act of terrorism as well as an act of treason.

Whether we like it or not, these murderous people will continue to shed innocent blood while whining about how they are discriminated against. Same things happened in Lebanon before terrorists claimed it for themselves.

There are hundreds of people in science community, Government positions, pilots and aviation personnel, professors, Physicists, and not only in USA but all over world, that say it was INSIDE JOB. Could not have happened like they said. Anyone with HALF A BRAIN can figure this out if they only THINK a little. “unable to understand” that he wasn’t to use his cell phone? WTH? I can communicate in any language, including sign language, how to shut off your phone. It’s not complicated, it’s a simple hand gesture. To ignore the flight attendant and keep talking loudly is at best belligerent. “Interpretor” is a few rows back but does nothing as the plane is turned around due to jackhole on phone? Multiple people in the same group are sitting separately and at least 2 are both using electronics and ignoring crew instructions to turn them off?

Tedd has an awful lot of details right, as confirmed by the airline, for someone who wasn’t even on the plane. I don’t buy the airline saying he wasn’t even on there even as they confirm large portions of Tedd’s story. Everyone on the plane would have a slightly different story. Airline manifest was probably changed when he refused to fly. Airlines lose kids (UAs) for crying out loud, and they are looking to discredit this guy… even as they confirm the majority of his story, line by line!

The bottom line for me is that the airline confirmed that they had to put on a whole new crew on the flight because the crew refused to continue on after the crazies were reboarded. The chaplain confirmed the crew members were upset. Several passengers refused to continue on the flight. Sorry folks, this is much more than a miscommunication due to language barrier. Dry run, testing reactions, or just trying to intimidate/terrorize, but more than a minor incident. To believe otherwise is to have your head in the sand.

UPDATE: It’s all a lie. AirTran put out this statement about this BS, “After conducting additional research into this situation, we have verified, according to flight manifests (legally binding documents) that the individual that allegedly created a first-hand account of events on-board AirTran Airways flight 297, a Theodore Petruna, was never actually on-board the flight.

“According to all available records, Mr. Petruna’s trip originated from Akron-Canton, Ohio (CAK) on AirTran flight 205. This flight arrived at the gate in Atlanta at 5:06 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Flight 297, the flight which Mr. Petruna allegedly wrote a first-hand account of, originally pushed back from its gate in Atlanta at 4:40 p.m. EST, a full 26 minutes before flight 205 arrived at the gate in Atlanta making this flight connection impossible.”

So this guy ran into some folks in the terminal who recounted a misunderstood portion of the story, made up a tale which made him a hero and you fell for it. Hook. Line. Sinker.

Seeing people swallow a story like this shows how fearful Americans are. What are we so afraid of? 3000 people dying on 9/11 was a tragedy, but 40000+ people die in car accidents every year. I don’t see anyone clamoring to put billions of dollars into road safety, but it would have saved far more lives and not sent our country into the tailspin that it’s in. People who are afraid of Muslims should get out of their cocoon and meet some Muslims. They won’t hurt you, trust me.
