I’m sure it’s probably less than you think. Why don’t you include Utah’s Mormon polygamists? There’s probably much more of them than Muslim polygamists.

Debbie,
I just today found out about Stallone’s steroid use, and I wanted to comment on your blog (2 months ago!) regarding this.
My contention is this: you say “better life through chemistry”, but I disagree. You assume that artificial enhancement is healthy (i.e. leads to a better life). Although some people are figuring out ways to enhance their body without immediate effects to their physical health, well-being is more than one-dimensional. What does such drug use say about a person’s mental or social health? Insecurity is a sign of neither. In addition, a person must continue to cycle with substances in order to maintain their physique (less their hormone level fall again), and this may lead to long-term ill physical effects.
The upshot is this: you seemed to be a proponent of steroid use, but you did not seem to consider all of the aspects of health in relation to such use.
I am interested to hear what you think. Thanks.

It is very refreshing to read your viewpoints. My life experience has taught me that women will defend whatever another women either says or does based solely on the fact that she’s a woman. Defending anyone shouldn’t be based on gender it should be about right or wrong and truth. Many people take Oprah’s words and her views on issues as Gospel truth.

Debbie, in the context of Black America, Oprah may have a point. A lot of men in that community are incapable of contributing to family life. And Black culture has become mainstream, including illegitimacy. I would call it a kind of entropy.

There is a seldom mention of unwed fathers because they are probably never around to help their girlfriends most of the time.In alot of cases,single women tend to disregard their children too. They both breed children like animals and I feel bad for such children born out of wedlock unions. They are going to go through a great deal of struggle if they will be assigned to do a family research project.It will definitly provoke confusion as well as gay marriage( well, thats a seperate issue put aside)which can be detrimental to the morals and survival of society.The institution of marriage has been undermined to a contract in courtesy of the welfare system. Who needs marriage if you are entitled to governmental subsidy? What better way to recieve governmental funds by using children as a meal ticket to bankrupt the tax payer?Most of these issues involve money and people are hust too lazy or commitmophobic to get married. Sure they are parents just like my pet cat( at least she is more self-sufficent than most of these unwed huamn parents,exspecially when it comes down to parenting her kittens without the help of the government. True, she needs to be fed like most pets do).

You two butt-crusts need to get your islamo-loving asses off the bitchbowl and get with the program. Yes, EVERYTHING has to be about muslims because that’s all we get subjected to on a daily basis by the likes of the Doprah and the rest of the “Carpet Patch” skanks. As far as Utah’s Mormons…their polygamy pales in comparison. So does their honor killings, wife beatings, and overall hatred for Americans.
If you want to allow those cerebral sponges you call brains suck up every word those self-appointed experts on everything spew out, so be it. But don’t forcefeed that crap on me. Doprah’s another cracker-hatin’ sister who’s made her fortune off the white folks; she doesn’t seem to mind whoring herself out in that manner. How ironic that an anti-semite soul slut has a production company named “Harpo”…wasn’t Harpo, as in Harpo Marx, Jewish? What a slap in the face to one of the funniest comedians in film.
