Spicoli Explains “Death to America”

By Debbie Schlussel
It’s not just that the ex-Mr. Sharon Stone, San Francisco Chronicle Editor Phil Bronstein, hired Jeff Spicoli (a/k/a Sean Penn) to cover today’s Iranian elections. It’s not just Spicoli’s pandering interviews with, for example, Iranian Muslim leader and former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Those things are bad enough. It’s the things the far-left wacko Penn is saying in Iran.
When he visited a mosque during prayers, “Death to America” was shouted. That’s no surprise. The outrage is Penn’s response to the chants. He told a group of Iranian students, “I understand the nature of where it comes from and what its intention is. But I don’t think it’s productive because I think the message goes to the American people and it is interpreted very literally.”
Please, Spicoli, please tell us what the intention and true interpretation of “Death to America” is. Before your new psycho-babble translating services, we stupid Americans actually thought the Iranians meant “Death to America,” when it really means, “Let’s share an ice cream cone together.” Just because Spicoli starred in “,” doesn’t mean he is one.

He sounds like the geeky kid in the clique who’s always getting picked on. “Hey, stop it guys, that’s not funny.”
