Some of the Other “Stressed Out” Muslim US Soldiers Dr. Phil & Shoshanna Johnson Can Make Excuses For

By Debbie Schlussel

Earlier today, I posted must watch video of professional psychobabbler and fake doctor Dr. Phil and former military cook, Shoshanna Johnson, and their OUTRAGE that anyone dare (in their case, former soldier Tom Kenniff) suggest that Islam might have something to do with a Muslim guy screaming allahu akbar and mass-murdering American soldiers. Yup, Nidal Malik Hasan was just a “stressed out victim of Islamophobia.” Uh-huh. Sure, he was.

muslimsoldierspraying

The “Loyalty” of Muslim Soldiers In the U.S. Military

And here are some more “loyal,” “stressed out” U.S. military men I wrote about almost three  years ago (there have been plenty more Muslim U.S. military members just like them, since, including Hassan Abujihaad), for whom I’d love to hear the new age excuses from these two bloated frauds. Yes, these are the “victims,” not the men and women they killed:

I’m constantly being told by Pan-Islamists about all of the Muslim Arabic translators and soldiers we have and how patriotic and dedicated they are to America.

Actually, their numbers aren’t so large, and their patriotism, well . . . . I think the many stories we’ve had about Muslim soldiers–from Wassef Ali Hassoun (who faked his kidnapping in Iraq, went AWOL, twice, and is now on the NCIS Most Wanted List) to Assan Akbar [a/k/a Hassan Akbar] (who shot at fellow American soldiers in the name of Islam) and a host of similar others (Ahmad Al-Halabi, Ali Mohamed, Ryan Anderson, Semi Osman, John A. Muhammad, Jeffrey Leon Battle, etc., etc., ad nauseam)–-makes the case otherwise.

The latest story–-about Army Arabic translator Mr. X a/k/a Noureddine Malki a/k/a Almaliki Nour a/k/a Abu Hakim a/k/a Abdulhakeem Nour–-makes the same case, ie., that we must be suspicious, instead of bending over backwards to welcome those whose co-religionists around the world (and here) are openly bent on our destruction.

Read the rest of the story on Mr. X. We don’t even know his real name, and this Army Arabic translator was informing Al-Qaeda of our impending troop movements in Iraq, so they could blow our servicemen to bits.

So, Dr. Phil and Shoshanna, what’s your excuse for them? On second thought, don’t bother. I already have enough fertilizer for next spring’s plants.

And as much fertilizer as their mouths produce, it isn’t even close to the number of Muslims in America and in our military who will emulate Nidal Malik Hasan in a heartbeat.

The PC Main Stream makes like murdering thugs are actully the real victims is oh so predicable.

Very Sad…and maddening too.

America…WAKE UP! Lest we become like France.

Does this make me an islamophobe? Yes…Yes? Then screw you.
I’m not buying the farce that Islam is the Religion Of Peace.

It is? Really? Well I’m from Missouri so SHOW ME!

Otherwise shut your pie hole.

These Islamic people are peaceful. Until something happens. That sick f**k twisted s**t Islam takes hold, and pufff! they snap and kill. Time to start treating Islam like the German’s treat scientology.

When the Press will not report the full truth of this event in the context of violent Islam, then they are worse than usless. They are a collaborationist danger of the highest order.

JLin on November 6, 2009 at 2:13 pm

Yup, the press is worse than useless. By ignoring or hiding the problem the’re just adding to it. We’re supposed to trust these people, right?
    Yeah, right……..

These guys are like the Cylons in the modern Battlestar Galactica series. Everything is fine until their programming kicks in and they start murdering unarmed bystanders.

sapper66 on November 6, 2009 at 2:21 pm

As Barry Rubin pointed out today, the one thing we won’t be hearing about is the Islamist/Jihadist connection. On that there’ll be a cover up. No wait – as your post indicates no sooner then Hasan went on his murderous spree did America’s know nothings move to cover up for him. We’re afraid to face an enemy bent on our destruction – and we can’t until we are able to be completely honest about his identity. So we comfort ourselves with the belief there was just a “stressed out” guy who for no reason whatsoever, just “snapped.”

Uh huh. They view him as a hero in the Arab/Muslim World. America needs to wake the heck up!

NormanF on November 6, 2009 at 2:52 pm

Being a veteran, I am sometimes disillusioned with the idea that all veterans love the nation with the same passion that I do, that they see the threats and signs with clear vision. I now realize that neither the former president nor the current one are courageous enough to confront our enemies. I further realize that my fears and concern for then POW Shoshanna Johnson, was misplaced, and may G*d forgive me, her capturers should have killed her. She acted disgraceful in that video clip, with the rolling of her eyes and the attitude. I would not be surprised if when she was a prisoner of our enemies, she did not use her minority status in the United States as a means to show her captors that she understands their cause. I find it curious how most of the panel could readily dismiss even the very remote possibility of this muslim committing a terrorist act. With the feckless media shielding our enemies and echoing the diversity message template it is no wonder we are poised to loose this war.

mark hammond on November 6, 2009 at 2:55 pm

sapper, the Islamists are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Outwardly, they look Western, well-educated and seemingly fit into our mobile, secular and free-living society. Until they reveal the feral self within. Its difficult to catch them because their disguise is so effective – and deadly. And most people have no real clue who they really are until its too late. Debbie could restate it as a rule: Never judge an Islamist by their clothes or degree of Westernization.

‘Nuff said.

NormanF on November 6, 2009 at 2:57 pm

mark hammond:

1. Shoshanna Johnson is bitter because even though she was the first female POW, and because she received permanent injuries that will prevent her from holding many types of jobs, all of the fame and money went instead to the white woman from West Virginia who was FALSELY passed off as the first female POW, and was made a star by the Pentagon, the Bush administration, the media etc. And later it turned out that (similar to Pat Tillman) some of the circumstances of the West Virginian’s capture and rescue were manipulated by the media, the Pentagon and the administration to make it a better story. While the media was making a celebrity star out of the white West Virginian, with book and movie deals etc. the only thing that Johnson got was an interview on Black Entertainment Television. And yes, Johnson served during the time period when the war was being totally mismanaged in order to suit political purposes, LONG BEFORE Petraeus took over, AND the weapons of mass destruction that were used to justify the conflict in which this Johnson experienced her life-altering injuries WERE NEVER FOUND. Gee, I wonder why going through something like that altered her view of the military and the country.

2. “I further realize that my fears and concern for then POW Shoshanna Johnson, was misplaced, and may G*d forgive me, her capturers should have killed her. She acted disgraceful in that video clip, with the rolling of her eyes and the attitude.”

You mean as disgraceful as you are acting now? You honestly advocate the killing of someone just because they disagree with your political views? You honestly are a disgusting evil human being who isn’t worth the skin that you are inhabiting. How would you like it if I felt that the Jews who died in the Holocaust deserved it because of their religious beliefs, or the white victims of hate crimes deserved it because of their skin privilege? It is the same thing you vile pig. It is people like you who validate the opinions of the anti-western crowd and keep the multiculturalist left in business. It is because of people like you that folks vote for Obama out of frustration and anger. 80% of Jews even support Obama and other Democrats because of bigots like you. You and all like you are swine, so go home and eat your ham sandwich.

Gerald Ball on November 6, 2009 at 3:24 pm

Look genius I said what I said and I would say it again. As far as being the first female prisoner of war there have been female POW’s since the American Civil War, there were two women POW’s in Desert Storm, while you’re supporting Ms. Johnson do what you really came here to do, praise your muslim friend for taking out a few United States patriots. I’m sure your muslim pals have reasons to hate us as well so it’s all justified, right pal?

mark hammond on November 6, 2009 at 5:16 pm

GB, there is a difference between the persecution of innocent people and apprehending those who set out to commit cold blooded murder. Given the history of Islam in this country, we need to have a “verify, then trust” attitude. Otherwise we’re going to be sitting ducks in the shooting gallery, like the great Americans who gave their lives for their country at Ft. Hood. Being careful isn’t being racist or bigoted. If that’s the label I’d get for wanting to be alive, you’ll get no apologies from me. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it here again: political correctness will be the death of us all.

NormanF on November 6, 2009 at 3:32 pm

The military should set up a documentation system to identify all military mulims that go to the local mosque on a regular basis. Once most are identified, put them all up for discharge proceedings and give them a dishonorable discharge. And for you bleeding heart liberals, at least I only said it should be a dishonorable discharge. If it were up to me, the only discharge there would be would come from the end of a 9mm.

Jon Meineke said “So you would deny this patriot the chance to serve?

My answer to the first question is HELL YES!! Taking him in means taking in the rest of Muslims and guess what it aint worth it. Our nation will have survived if no Muslim had stepped foot on this country. Don’t give me that tired liberal anecdotal evidence that will try and change my mind.

Second the hysteria is everywhere. Liberals are hysterical that it wasn’t a terrorist attack. They are drumbeating that he was a stressed out soldier. All this hysteria that it had to do with a stressed out soldiers who had a breaking point.

The rational thought is

1. Hasan killed 13 and wounded 30
2. Hasan was Muslim
3. Hasan didn’t want to go to Iraq for fear of killing Muslims
4. Muslims have randomly killed innocents for Allah
5. Muslims have attacked our nation repeatedly
6. Hasan has posted comments on blogs sympathizing with suicide bombers

It leads to one conclusion It was a terrorist act.

Please take your Obama “let’s not jump to conclusions” BS elsewhere. We need to jump to conclusions!!! WE WERE ATTACKED, A$$HOLE!!

I guess in Debbie’s black and white world, we should just get rid of all Muslims and then we would all be safe and the world would be a wonderful place. I wonder how many of you who are so sure that all Muslims serving in our armed forces are bad have served yourselves. I know Debbie hasn’t served. I guess when you’re an armchair conservative talk radio host, it’s easy to talk war. If you’re the poor grunt sent out to actually fight in those wars you neocons love, well then it’s not so great. My brother has done 3 tours–2 to Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan. Each time he goes we pray he will survive. Each time he returns, he comes back a little less like himself. He says that without the few Muslims and Arab speakers in the army now, they would have an even tougher time. He also says that the amount of prejudice the Muslim men and women in his unit endure is substantial from both fellow army guys and from the Iraqis and Afghanis. So, by all of your logic, was Timothy McVeigh a Muslim? Is the guy in Orlando who just shot people at his former office a Muslim?

Mizerello on November 6, 2009 at 7:43 pm

I am an army psychiatrist. To suggest as the 2 stupid fools Dr Phil and the low IQ woman, that listening to patients talk about their experiences would cause an intensely trained professional to shoot over 40 people, is pure fantasy.Does the fraud Dr Phil, have even one case report of a psychiatrist going on such rampage of mass murder. Of course, anyone with an IQ above 75 can see this creature Nidal, planned and trained to kill as many people as possible. Most army physicians barely know how to shoot a gun. This beast Nidal hit his targets over 50 times before he was stopped (some victims had multiple wounds). What member of a military force regularly voices pleasure at the death of his co-service members and repeatedly states the enemy should kill as many American SMs as possible. An islamo facist terrorist that’s who.

California Screaming —

I prefer an America where individuals are judged on character, not race nor religion. I prefer an America that clings to the Declaration of Independence as I too believe that all men are created equal. I see no need to jump to conclusions — over anything.

I believe in harsh punishment for crime — as is in order for this deranged madman who opened fire on innocent souls. But let the punishment fit the crime, and let a free man, regardless of race or religion, make the most of him or herself in this great country.

I also believe, at the same time, in civil dialogue and your right to use whatever language you feel comfortable with. You have every right to use a pejorative and hold bigoted viewpoints, as I have every right to call you a fool and from hereon, ignore you.

It’s amazing how ignorant some people can be. Remind me again, Debbie, how long have you served? Oh. That’s right. You’re just another oblivious commentator who has no idea what it’s really like.

Fact: The majority of murders committed by people in the United States are committed by Christians. Should we take their religion in to account? Of course not! It’s moronic at best to base judgement upon someone based on their religion. We don’t go in to panic screaming “Oh my GAWD! Christianity is SUCH a violent religion!” because that would be inexcusably idiotic. Remember Vietnam? Plenty of platoons were snuffed by their officrs. So, should I, as an atheist, classify all Christians as murders? No, of course not! That’d be stereotypical and ridiculously ignorant.

Shouldn’t the same treatment be given to Muslims? Just because you fail to comprehend them doesn’t mean you should spout such bigotry. We’re in 2009, if people still feel the need to find a scapegoat for everything and blame it on them then they seriously require enlightenment.

All that being said, you’re expressing your right to freedom of speech and it’s your every right to say what you want, even if it’s abysmally ignorant. So have at it, Hoss.

Han Solo on November 7, 2009 at 4:24 am

Han Solo,

CaliforniaScreaming has stated facts. Your post is ust name-calling CaliforniaScreaming with no facts to support.

Coing from India, you should know that 11/26, whose anniversary is fast approaching is just another in a long line of Islamic aggression on peace-loving, secular India. Islam spread to India by force and compulsion. Heck, even a romantic emperor, Shah Jehan had the fingers of the architects of Taj Mahal, cut off just to ensure there won’t be another (Taj Mahal). The roots of Islam are in subjugation, conversion and murder, with fighting non-muslims, a duty of every true muslim, which explains the hostility against non-muslims by muslims, world-wide. Add to that taquiyya, Kitman and Da’wa, you have a complete package of subugation, deception and aggression. Finally, CaliforniaScreaming has posted facts which you have nothing to rebuff with.

To Debbie Schlussel:

Since you’re a lawyer I know that you think you know everything but i would like to remind you that lawyers are good at one thing: Lying.

So keep doing it, ok? Keep being the bestest liar that you can be. Those of us who live in the real world are still faced with the fact that not all is known about what happened with this guy, but as long as he keeps breathing then sooner or later we’ll find out. So that’s what us grown-ups do; we deal with the reality of the situation and wait to see what facts emerge. You go off on wild sensationalist tangents in any and every attempt to drum up anti-Islamic support for your misguided causes. Just like a good paranoid schizophrenic would.

What’s your solution huh? Purge the military of all the Muslims in it? Yeah, that’s brilliant. Listen up, there are 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, that’s a fact of life. You sit there and try to demonize them one lie at a time. But the problem is that those of us who aren’t scared little over-privileged crybabies like you do not fear Isl;am or any other culture. You’re part of the problem of Islamic hatred, not part of the solution. And your motivations are purely to drive your own little paranoid cult of personality.

You don’t know shit, and you’re banking on your scared little “conservative” audience to not know shit either.

Han Solo on November 7, 2009 at 9:25 am*

Are you kidding me? The Catholic God and the Islamic moon god are not the same. I almost have an M.A. in Catholic theology. Catholics believe the fullness of revelation came from Christ, so any real Catholic doesn’t believe for a second that a nutty pedophile named Mohammed 600 years later suddenly got a revelation from Archangel Gabriel. The only way he could have would be if it were from a fallen angel masquerading as Gabriel.

Look at the fruits of Islam: violence, hatred, irrationality, a pornographic view of the afterlife, the hatred of the body (covering it up for women) and not allowing it to be pictured in art, destruction of culture, a permanent Dark Age, an obsession with destroying civilizations (what did Islam do to the highly advanced Hellenistic culture of the area it conquered?) The fruits of Islam point to a demonic origin, so don’t equate the Catholic God with the Islamic demon called Allah.

JM on November 7, 2009 at 9:52 am

The catholic god and the Muslim God are one and the same. I could care less about you MA in Catholic Theology, Catholicism and Islam have been intertwined since the beginning of Islam. This is why Muslims respect Christians more that Jews, it’s a facet of their culture. I’m Catholic, and you know what? The only thing I take away from Catholicism are the actual teachings of Jesus, you remember those?

You want to believe that you’re more righteous than the next person because you’ve memorized parts of the bible and you want to argue over the semantics of whose god is better. Yippeee. Get a life.

Joe Engel on November 7, 2009 at 10:03 am

Joe, anyone can see your Muslim BS from a mile away. You’re Catholic, right? Then why do you capitalize God with Muslim and lowercase it with Catholic.

Another demonic facet of Islam: There is absolutely nothing against blatantly lying, so you can’t trust a thing a Muslim says.

From your post I can tell you know nothing about the Catholic faith and are not Catholic. It is evident that you are a Muslim who for the purpose of your jihad right now is pretending to be Catholic. Also, it is clear you have a hatred of Judaism, which is not a Catholic trait.

JM on November 7, 2009 at 10:09 am

Han Solo on November 7, 2009 at 9:25 am*

One more thing. You obviously are Muslim and it doesn’t take a Sherlock Holmes to figure that out. The Jewish and Christian God doesn’t “hate.” He is Goodness and Truth itself. The Islamic demonic moon god “hates,” which is why those nutty followers of his are vessels of hate. The more devout they become, the more filled with hate they become, and their sacrament is that of blood and violence.

JM on November 7, 2009 at 9:56 am

Joe, I can tell you are actually Muslim because as soon as you start losing an argument, you suddenly scream “Inquisition!” “Crusades!” as if you are still stewing about it.

I like what the Nigerian Catholic priest Father Nnorum who lives here in Virginia says about Islam and the Inquistion:

“Drawing further parallels to the past, he said that the Spanish Inquisition was simply another word for Homeland Security. Muslims pretended to be Catholic, just like they are pretending to be U.S. citizens.”

As far as the Crusades go, it was very late counter to Islamic Imperialism.

More and more it`s coming out he indeed is a hardcore Muslim and has been for a long time. One JAG office attorney made a good point on CNN last night when someone else tried to excuse Hasan with PTSD. He said many soldiers come back with PTSD and don`t go on rampages shooting up their fellow soldiers. Also that Hasan had only been independently practicing as a Psychiatrist for 4 months and was never deployed. No PTSD lame excuse for him!

Hermster on November 7, 2009 at 11:24 am

And as far as him being harrassed for being a Muslim former military classmates have come out and said he was a lightening rod. He was so vocal about his beliefs through the years he drew negative criticism to himself.

Hermster on November 7, 2009 at 11:30 am

It was inevitable. Read of the connections between Malik Hasan and the Obama transition tream.

A M.A. in Catholic Theology? How much did you pay for it? Here a short lesson in catholic theology and history: 1. The jewish, christian und islamic god is one! 2. God is evil! She killed millions by a flood, destroyed cities like Sodom and Gomorrha, she killed innocent childen in Egypt an called it plague. 3. The Deputy of God on earth is a German. 4. Germany is was not part of the coalition of the willing. Ergo: God is with the weasels and hates you

Nobody is addressing the real issues here. Debbie is hot, and no one seems to be able to address this. What the hell is wrong with you people?

Yes, Debbie is hot. Thanks for keeping me focused and on topic.

The Muslim apologists here really are something. The fact of the matter is that Islam does not recognize secular authority as binding. The US military must have soldiers who are dedicated to protecting and preserving the secular authority of the Constitution. Muslims, therefore, are inherently ill-equipped to be in the US military. Religion does matter in this case, and we need not bring up the various specifics of Islam to make the point. Both Christianity and Judaism recognize secular authority.

Of course, the specifics of Islam are utterly chilling to anyone who cares about liberty.

The US military excludes known gays from service. I think this is probably a mistake, but I can grant that there is an argument in support of the exclusion. Yet the US military does not exclude Muslims. The patriotism of a homosexual who wants to serve can be taken at face value. The patriotism of a Muslim who “wants” to serve cannot be taken at face value at all.

The double standard here is just staggering.

There are more Muslims in the US Armed Force than Jews despite there being more Jews in the US. The actions of one deranged lunatic do not reflect on the thousands of loyal Muslims in the military (and more in the Intelligence Community), including those who have died in Afghanistan and Iraq. Anyone who claims otherwise is as un-American as major Hasan.

MM: Nice try, liar. But, according to today’s Wall Street Journal, the Defense Dept. says 3,409 members of the U.S. military on active duty identify as Muslim. 4,515 are Jews. I know Islamic math is different than conventional math (they lie with numbers as with everything else), but in our mathematical system, 4,515 is far more than 3,409.

Oh, and here’s a more important statistic: How many Jews murdered fellow soldiers, threw grenades in their tents, shot them up on a U.S. Army base, informed Al-Qaeda of troop movements so they could blow them up, and faked their own kidnappings and went AWOL? Oh, wait, those were all Muslims. Do we really need 3,409 of those in the U.S. military? Or even one? Just ask the families who lost their kids to Nidal Malik Hasan, Hasan Akbar, and the others. DS

Muslim Marine on November 7, 2009 at 4:49 pm

I notice, Muslim Marine, that you did not address the simple point that I made, namely that Islam does not recognize secular authority, unlike both Christianity and Judaism. Now, couple this with other prohibitions (e.g., taking the kafir for a friend, protecting the kafir against fellow Muslims), and we have a recipe for exactly what occurred at Fort Hood (and elsewhere).

This is a no-brainer. Muslims cannot be trusted to serve in the US military.

He wasn’t “deranged” at all and was not suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome. He was a very rational, cold-blooded, Muslim killer who joined the military to infiltrate it, just as most of you Muslims in the military have done. He knew exactly what he was going to do and was probably planning it years in advance.

Sorry, if you are Muslim, you are NOT loyal to the Constitution or to our country. I’ve lived many years abroad, including in a Muslim country (Malaysia) and know about your religion. Muslims can never have loyalty to a country that is not majority Muslim and does not have sharia law.

JM on November 7, 2009 at 6:47 pm

JM, You wrote, “I like what the Nigerian Catholic priest Father Nnorum who lives here in Virginia says about Islam and the Inquistion:

“Drawing further parallels to the past, he said that the Spanish Inquisition was simply another word for Homeland Security. Muslims pretended to be Catholic, just like they are pretending to be U.S. citizens.” ”

What kind of crazy mixed up thinking is that The Inquisition had NOTHING to do with Islam! The Inquisition went after Jews. So this “father” Nnorum claims because of a threat to Spain’s security, my Jewish ancestors were deprived of their possessions forced to abandon their religion and ultimately deported?

What exactly were we threatening them with? Prosperity, knowledge, loyalty to the Crown? How does “father” explain that prior to the Inquisition Spain’s Jews
enjoyed wealth, education, high stature socially and politically? Gee, some threat!

It was Columbus, himself a Jew, who finally rid the Iberian Peninsula of the Islamic curse.
That quote doesn’t even make sense. It’s stupid and historically about as inaccurate as anything can get.
Everything Nnorum lays at the feet of Moslems, in fact happened to Spain’s Jews with no explanation or excuses even. They didn’t even try to justify it. It was pure, blatant and unashamed evil.

if you go to Cordoba, as I have, you will see that the muslims and jews lived peacefully together for 600 years (jews had to pay an extra tax for not being muslim) until the reconquista. then the catholic destruction of the jews, aka the inquisition, began.

it is not god or religion that is the evil it is when claim to know the will of some sort of god and use thier influence over people for evil ends.

all you folks should read jefferson’s virginia statute on religious freedom…..govt involvement in religion is as great a threat to the coopted religion as it is to the govt.

R: You’re extremely ignorant. The Muslims forcibly converted and/or murdered many Jews. Ever hear of the Al-Mohad Muslims? They killed so many Jews it was on a larger scale, percentage-wise, than the 6 million Jews the Nazis killed in the Holocaust. Get a frickin’ clue. And FYI, we are talking about now, not several hundred years ago. Christianity and every other religion except Islam has civilized itself. Islam, on the other hand, has regressed and is barbaric and savage. WAKE. THE. HECK. UP. DS

“How many American Muslims have been convicted of spying against the United States? You know the number of your fellow religionists who have done so, and whats more, Jews like you continue to argue for their release as if they deserve some special treatment on account of their Jewishness, ignoring what they did to this country.”

Do tell, Muslim Marine. How many Jews have been convicted of spying on the US? You allude to Pollard, who wasn’t even convicted of spying and has served far longer than real spies of enemy countries.

Meantime, the top Muslim organization in America, CAIR, is part of the Muslim Brotherhood!

sk on November 7, 2009 at 9:13 pm

You see, MM, the issue is not whether a Jew, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, etc., can be a lawbreaker, terrorist, spy, etc. The issue is whether one’s religion COMPELS one to be these things. Alas, Islam does compel one, if the religious doctrine is taken even slightly seriously. What’s more, Islamic doctrine requires one to DECEIVE the unbeliever. So, we can’t even separate the Muslim-in-name-only from the devout Muslim.

sk on November 7, 2009 at 9:19 pm

Case closed! Nidal Malik Hasan is indeed a Muslim terrorist.

Kareem R. Khan, 20, of Manahawkin, New Jersey rests forever under a marker at Arlington National Cemetary.

When you generalize hate you are really showing your hatred for America.

rascalofearth on November 7, 2009 at 11:56 pm

rascalofearth, when you particularize you show your hatred of rational thought. Is it possible that a Muslim could be a patriot and a hero? Of course! That has nothing to do with the general problem, which is that Muslims who are devout CANNOT be patriots for a kafir (non-Muslim) state. They CANNOT kill fellow Muslims.

And how exactly can you know when a Muslim is devout when canonical Islam requires Muslims to deceive the kafir when it is useful?

There are more Jews in the military than Muslims. There is not a single instance of murdering fellow soldiers. While it is always possible that this could happen, there is no religious requirement that Jews kill non-Jews “wherever they find them.”

CHICAGO — In a bid to get more Muslim Americans working in the Obama administration, a book with resumes of 45 of the nation’s most qualified — Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted — has been submitted to the White House. The effort, driven by community leaders and others, including U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., was bumped up two weeks because White House officials heard about the venture, said J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, who sifted through more than 300 names. “It was mostly under the radar,” Williams said. “We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn’t know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community.”

bamasucks__I_told_you_so on November 8, 2009 at 12:20 am

Why does an entity like the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association exist? Are there such organizations for Mormons, Baptists, and Catholics? Why should a theocratically oriented group be even considered an appropriate source for a talent search? What would be said if other religiously affiliated groups existed in Congress as formal organizations for staffers and other personnel? This is really wild.
