Today’s Israeli Elections

By
Imagine that America had elections for President and Congress, today. Imagine that the leading contender for the White House and his party in Congress wanted to give California, Texas, and parts of Michigan, New York, etc. to Al Qaeda, in hopes that the group would stop attacks on America. The candidate said he is tired of fighting the terrorists and just wants to give in.
Would you vote for that candidate and his party? That’s what’s going to happen with today’s likely election of Ehud Olmert as Prime Minister of Israel and his defeatist Kadima Party as the majority coalition partner in Israel’s Parliament, the Knesset.
To understand more about this situation, read my father’s excellent guest column analyzing today’s election, “.”

Is it any worse than the cowards and clueless leaders we have here in the US? I’m talking Bush and the Senators who voted for blanket amnesty in that Senate bill?

Imagine that AlQaeda members were being recruited largely from amongst refugee-camp Muslims within the borders of the United States. Imagine that Al-Qaeda’s political representation was a series of disconnected Bantustans from coast to coast in America which are cut off by checkpoints staffed by American soldiers. Imagine that Al-Qaeda (a small group of extremists recruited internationally) was the social/cultural equivalent of 8 million people from among whom a certain percentage were politically violent. Imagine there was ANY FREAKING EQUIVALENCY, and then take another puff, Debbie, and pass it my way.

Imagine an American president who wants to open our borders to illegal aliens so that American jobs and security vanish. Imagine an American president who promotes the wholesale outsourcing of American jobs and technology to competing countries and enemies such as India, Korea, and Communist China. Imagine an American president who tells the US people that Islam is a religion of peace. Imagine an American president who wants to give US sovereignty away to Mexico and Canada. Oh, we have one, George Bush. Imagine that.

I am sick and tired of this site’s anti-Zionist bent. All you do is dump on the Israelis. How many have to die so that big tough Debbie Schlussel can feel all proud and Jewish.
I hate anti-Zionist Jews and anti-Israel websites.
You are a diaspora loving self-hater who is not fit to lick Olmert or Sharon’s shoes.
Also, you are so sure you are a babe. You are not.
Hey, Debbie, if you are so tough, why don’t you go patrol Gaza? Tough lady. SELF-HATER!
WELL, SOMEBODY’S GOT TO PATROL GAZA TO PREVENT THE 600 ROCKETS THAT HAVE LANDED IN ISRAEL SINCE YOUR HERO, SHARON, PULLED THE ISRAELI ARMY OUT. MAYBE IT WILL BE THE HEROES FROM THE ISRAEL POLICY FORUM, FROM WHICH YOUR COMMENT EMANATED. ONLY SOMEONE FROM THE FAR-LEFT ISRAEL POLICY FORUM WOULD ACCUSE ME OF BEING ANTI-ISRAEL OR ANTI-ZIONIST. THE MAIN TASK OF ANY GOVERNMENT IS TO PROTECT ITS CITIZENS! IF THE ISRAEL POLICY FORUM HAS IT THEIR WAY, THEIR WON’T BE ANY ISRAEL OR ZION LEFT FOR THE REAL HATERS (IE., THE SELF-HATERS IN THE ISRAEL POLICY FORUM AND THEIR ISLAMIST BUDDIES) TO HATE.
