Betsy DeVos: Funded Pro-Muslim, Anti-Israel Curriculum; Affirmative Action Pimp; Guess Who Her Brother Is

By Debbie Schlussel

betsydevostrump

A lot of conservatives are gushing over Betsy DeVos, the rich chick whom Donald Trump chose today as his Education Secretary. They claim she’s a good choice because she supports charter schools and school choice. Don’t believe the hype. I have personal experience with this woman, and she’s an alarming choice–especially if you are concerned about America’s kids being indoctrinated with Islam at school. Here’s why . . .

As many readers know, I’m a lifelong Michiganian (I HATE the term “Michigander”–I ain’t a male goose). So I know a lot about Betsy DeVos, most of it not very good.

* She funded ANTI-ISRAEL, Pro-Muslim curriculum in America’s Public Schools.

bridgesatschool

Betsy DeVos and her husband, Dick DeVos, financed anti-Israel, pro-Muslim propaganda posing as “curriculum” in America’s public schools. The Dick & Betsy DeVos Family Foundation financed the anti-Israel, pro-Muslim MidEast Policy Council’s “Teach MidEast” and its “Bridges at School” curriculum. (She’s also a Common Core supporter and fought to make this anti-Israel crap part of the Common Core agenda taught at America’s public schools.)

Bridges at School is a topical curriculum developed for American middle school classrooms. Contextualizing the Arab World and providing a unique series of both critical thinking and creative exercises that shed light on the rich historical, scientific, mathematical, religious, and cultural legacy of the region, this program focuses on the themes of global citizenship and identity through a series of analysis-based activities. Bridges at School highlights poetry and values-based paired texts; fashion and style; visual art; food and spice; drama; music; language; medicine and science; and media. Activities are available free of charge via the online platform NextLesson. Development funding for Bridges at School is courtesy of Donna Pearson Chapman and The Dick & Betsy DeVos Family Foundation.

* She supports extremist Muslims who aid and abet Islamic terrorist groups, bring terrorism-supporting Muslim illegal aliens into the United States, and boycott Israel.

Betsy DeVos and her husband Dick DeVos (also born into money) are donors and contributors to ACCESS–the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services. And they also attend ACCESS annual fundraising dinners.

As I’ve reported on this site previously, ACCESS–which receives millions of dollars in government grants and aid–actively brings Muslim illegal aliens into the United States and helps them stay here. ACCESS continues to date to bring thousands of pregnant Muslim women from around the world into the United States to defraud Medicaid and give birth to their children here–making them U.S. citizens and eligible for entitlements and voting privileges.

ACCESS was founded by Ismael Ahmed as a campaign to get the Big Three automakers to divest from Israel and companies that do business with it. ACCESS sponsored the Divestment (from Israel) Conference at the University of Michigan. ACCESS opposed and lobbied Congress against making it illegal to donate to Islamic terrorist groups, including Hezbollah, HAMAS, and Islamic Jihad. Fortunately, the efforts failed and Bill Clinton signed a package into law.

As I’ve also noted, ACCESS also spent thousands of dollars in government money to provide job training and training for commercial drivers licenses and HazMat haulding certificates to members of the Detroit Al-Qaeda terror cell. And its tax-funded Arab American National Museum features several anti-Israel, anti-Semitic “exhibits” and “art.”

When Betsy DeVos’ husband, Dick, was running for Governor of Michigan (he was trounced), I asked him why he and his wife supported ACCESS and why they opposed our efforts to end government-sponsored discrimination in the form of affirmative action.

He was flustered, didn’t have an answer, and had his handlers escort me out of the event.

* She’s An Affirmative Action Pimp and Plays the Race Card.

I was general counsel for the courageous Ward Connerly’s Michigan Civil Rights Initiative (MCRI), for which Michigan voters voted in overwhelming numbers in 2006. MCRI’s purpose was to eliminate race-and-gender-based preferences in admissions, hiring, and promotions in public institutions and government in Michigan. In other words, get rid of institutional racism against White males and in favor of Blacks, Hispanics, women, etc.

Betsy DeVos, as then-Chair (yup, a piece of furniture–‘cuz, G-d-forbid, you use the term “chairwoman”) of the Michigan Republican Party, came out repeatedly and very publicly against us. She called us “RAAAAAAYCIST!” Yup, lily-White, privileged Betsy DeVos–who was born into and then also married great wealth and never had to work a day in her charmed life–called Ward Connerly, a self-made Black man, a “racist.” She worked against MCRI and brought the full power of the Michigan Republican Party to bear against us. She also put her daddy’s and hubby’s daddy’s money to work against us. And she tried to pressure Republicans who sat on the committee that certified what qualified for the ballot, to vote against us.

Despite DeVos’ siding with the likes of Jesse Jackson and Weird Al Sharpton and their acolytes in Michigan (and she was our loudest critic–louder than anyone on the left), we won overwhelmingly by a margin of 3-2 in a virtual election landslide unheard of for a ballot initiative in Michigan.

As a lifelong Michiganian, I can tell you that Betsy DeVos is and always has been part of the GOP establishment here in Michigan. She’s never been seen as a conservative.

And, now, Betsy DeVos is Trump’s choice for Secretary of Education. Look for her to pimp her anti-Israel propaganda further into America’s education system. Don’t look for her to end the wasteful, highly-discriminatory, Department of Education efforts at “diversity” and affirmative action at schools and universities. And look for her to keep up her usual efforts at being a dhimmi Islamo-panderer. In other words, look for those anti-Israel, anti-American, pro-Muslim textbooks to continue to be in the curricula throughout America’s public schools. Betsy won’t lift a finger to change the crap that America is teaching our kids.

In other words, it’ll be biz as usual at the Trump Department of Education. Same as it ever was.

***

One other thing: Betsy DeVos’ brother is Erik Prince, the founder and chief of Blackwater for many years. I’d much prefer him running anything in government to her. He knows what Muslims are like. He had to deal with them in their natural habitat and managed to keep the American dignitaries his company was hired to protect, safe.

Sadly, his sis just doesn’t get it. And she never will.

Skunky is so right about how disgusting liberals are. I wanted to see Bill Maher show after the election to see him eat Donkey dung. They actually said ( him and Holder) said it racist and discriminatory that elections are held on Tuesday. Because people cant take off work. lol wtf. Jolder wants to get rid of the electoral college. And voter id is racist?

I just had to go get a new cell phone because once i paid my last phone off, they (sprint) zap it, so you must get a new one.(Raquet). I had to show my i.d to get a new phone. Yet not to vote. Lol. This election has absolutely shown me how sickening liberals are. I had not ever heard Holder in an intwrview or speak. Not once just hear things in passing but hearing him on Maher, he’s a fool. Ignorant. He also said Bill shouldnt ever give conservs a platform, forget both sides just push liberalism. They are mentally corrupt.

Hey, Big D(ummmy.) Why didn’t you honor your promise of never posting here again?

Your word is obviously worthless, but that’s to be expected, I suppose.

    DS_ROCKS! on November 29, 2016 at 3:18 pm

Im an independent, I want to believe, you know convince myself that there are two sides and the middle is whats right. However, I now see liberal thought process is poison. Bill asked Holder ” how much of this vote is based on a rejection of Obamas race? Just asking that Question is sickening. Obama won twice with a crap economy. Had a super high approval rating, which says hes likable. They showed plenty of counties that went for Obama years past but went for Trump. Liberals are nothing but race baiting trouble makers. Hillary was sht. Im sure theyre are plenty Whites who are more comfy seeing a White in the Office, just as Blacks did with Barack but Barack didnt make it easy with all that Arab love, so much was trust, same country. who elected Barack twice isnt all of a sudden down with Jim Crow. Wtf. Liberals suck.

MrBigBrain on November 26, 2016 at 3:14 am

I for one will refuse to recognize this con man as president. Any orders he gives I will refuse.

Worriedcitizen on November 26, 2016 at 11:59 am

That’s right, Oh!!!BUANKenOh!B. Right out of Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals. “Never get in to a(n) (argument) discussion with your enemy.” “Identify, define, attack, destroy.”

They (liberals) are not about a “free and open exchange of ideas and opinions.” When they are on top, they seek to squash all dissent. Funny, because when they were hangin’ with the hippies in the 60’s, they wanted more freedom of speech. When they are NOT on top, the ball game is the same. Destroy, destroy, destroy, but with no real plan as to how what they want destroyed will be rebuilt.

Is it any wonder that one of Jesus’ most oft used words was . . .

HYPOCRITES!!!

The following is an excerpt of the lyrics to the Beatles 1968 song Revolution. Now remember, the Beatles are to this day, icons of the left. But look how nearly 50 years ago, they (mostly Lennon) expressed their doubts about the tactics of the left.

“You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it’s evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don’t you know that you can count me out?
Don’t you know it’s gonna be
Alright?
Alright?
Alright?
You say you’ve got a real solution
Well, you know
We’d all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We are doing what we can
But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is, brother, you’ll have to wait” . . .

NancyB on November 26, 2016 at 1:51 pm

I have a very serious question….if all this is true then in plain English, what does this tell us about Trump? Have we been deceived? Is he really part of the NWO? Or, is he just extremely nieve about what common core, NCLB, RTTT, and ESSA (vouchers and school choice) is really all about? Is this 2008 all over again where we have been sold a bill of goods that is going to screw our next generation over worse than the last????? Serious responses only please!!!!!!

Paulamarie on November 27, 2016 at 2:09 am

Well, Paulamarie, NO one, but Trump and the way he governs can answer that. But you’ve already been given a bunch of serious answers, and it sure does look like what you asked. Have we been deceived? The growing body of evidence says yes.

And that’s exactly what Ted Cruz was telling us. Time will tell, but it’s obvious that good judgment left the American people and its leaders a long time ago.

I thought the name “DeVos” sounded familiar. Her father-in-law co-founded (Sc)Amway. That alone makes me cringe…

To me, this just shows how deeply — and successfully — the stealth jihad has advanced. And it couldn’t have infilrated this successfully, thus far, were there not plenty of Useful Idiots on the right, to complement (and to augment) their higher number on the left.

Trump has the right instincts to help him ward off contracting a bad case of the PC MC flu (to which the entire Western Mainstream has succumbed, a pan-Western epidemic virus); but there are indications he has not attended to his instincts in order to educate himself down that deeply dismaying road of autodidact pedagogy we civilians in the counter-jihad have in fact gone down.

A sure and relatively swift inoculation from the virus for Trump would be for him to have several Presidential Powwows behind closed doors with people like Philip Haney, Stephen Coughlin, Debbie Schlussel, Hugh Fitzgerald, Geert Wilders, etc. Call it the “Counter-Jihad Summit”.

Hesperado on November 28, 2016 at 2:49 am

To Alfredo and Infidel
thankyou for reading my comment and sharing your concern over it.
i can see you guys have pretty knowledge of everywhere but just one thing the meaning of JIHAD is not what you’re thinking its really a wider term for us.
and one other thing in my religion ISLAM it is if you killed an innocent human being( it be of any religion, caste, colour) you killed whole of humanity.
Alfredo you might be a journalist or know a lot about it but i have many friends(muslims)all around the globe and i can say none of them are terrorising anyone. they just want to make place for themselves. I would also like you to welcome and be my guest sometimes so i can show you what we truly are and in our islam there is one thing that we cannot fill our stomach with food if we know that our neighbours dont have food to eat and they are starving, thats what our religion is.

Abdul samad on November 28, 2016 at 5:46 am

Thank you Debbie for doing the job that the lamestream media including Fox News and apparently the Trump Transition Team isn’t doing. We know that the first two on my list aren’t worth a hill of stinky beans but what is going on with the last one. Trump needs to slow down a bit and think about what he’s doing. This woman DeVos is such a bad choice for Ed Sec. The fact that she sided with racist rat dung heaps Sharpton and Jackson over a good man in Ward Connelly is enough to disqualify her in my book. Say nothing of the fact that she supports Uncommon Core and apparently is pro Islamic anti Jewish fool to boot. Trump needs to stop listening to whomever is advising him on these picks such as Haley like Debbie is nothing but an empty skirt and will be more of a joke as UN Ambassador than that libtard dunce Samantha Powers. Also why is he even entertaining that crap weasel Slick Willard Romney. If someone called me a phony, fraud and basically a dunce when it came to foreign policy I wouldn’t let him anywhere near me. This is the same guy who LOST to the most unqualified person to ever become president. At least Trump managed a company and made billions and wasn’t shy about it. Obama was a hack politician who won every seat he’s held by getting the other person disqualified. Remember how he won his Senate seat. I’m sure Jack Ryan does. Willard for his part seemed ashamed of his wealth. Whatever the case Trumps dealing with him and his pick of the Muslim pandering DeVos and Haley is enough for me to start scratching my cleanly shaved head. Oh and thanks Debbie for the info on DeVos’ brother and your response post about Pirro. Got defensive training at Blackwater before my last Naval deployment. It was a blast literally. Pirro talking tough about the whole Clinton email mess and then attacking Homey Comey when he brought it back up again right before the election didn’t pass the smell test. Now I know why. It looks like I can count on one hand who isn’t a fake on Fox News these days.

Ken B on November 28, 2016 at 9:45 am

Alan, that struck me as well. Hearing Devos described as a business billionaire was slightly hilarious: she is, but not so much from actual business building as opposed to multi-level marketing

Infidel on November 28, 2016 at 10:18 am

What I think is FUNNY is the very person who got nit-picky over what she prefers to be called, got over-dramatic when someone ELSE had a preference. The author states,

“As many readers know, I’m a lifelong Michiganian (I HATE the term “Michigander”–I ain’t a male goose).”

OK, fair enough. But then she later gets ‘nearly OFFENDED’ when addressing her victim’s preference

“Betsy DeVos, as then-Chair (yup, a piece of furniture–‘cuz, G-d-forbid, you use the term “chairwoman”) of the Michigan Republican Party”

No, I didn’t expect the author to be perfect, but it would be all too easy for one ‘double-standard’ comment to diminish the real point of her article (which is indeed valid). IRONY at it’s best!

– JCR

J C Ravenhood on November 28, 2016 at 10:27 am

What double standard, QuothTheRaven? Maybe Debbie was using her famous sense of humor? And maybe the offense at the term Michigander had nothing to do with male goose, but the fact that Michigander is a stupid sounding word? I know the word very well, and I’ve often thought they could come up with a better one. It’s just a stupid sounding word.

Debbie’s not a stickler for the new age terms such as referring to Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Alba as actors instead of actresses. That’s probably why she chided DeVos for using the term chair, because there shouldn’t be anything wrong with a woman being called an actress or chairwoman. That is, unless you’re a stickler for today’s PC culture references.

I can’t speak for Debbie at all, but I don’t think her remark was a gender slap. Debbie, as many others, also can occasionally use raw, biting humor to make a point.

And Michigander is just a stupid sounding word, whether it refers to a male goose or something else. Now, excuse me while I go take a gander at pictures of some hot chick’s ass.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on November 28, 2016 at 11:08 am

Of course, there are people in this world who could be referred to a Michigas-ers.

ROTFLMAO!!!

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on November 28, 2016 at 12:04 pm

Yeah Alfredo like you and Debbie I’m not to big on the PC crapola. In Ken B’s world a female actor is called and actress, a flight attendant is a stewardess, Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man female sailors E-1 through E-3 are called seamen and a chair is something you put your butt in. Not what you call person. Also a gander is either a male goose or something that you look at over someplace called yonder. Also male or female geese (can’t really tell which is which unlike ducks) will chase you wings a flapping over to that place called yonder if they think you’re taking a gander at their nest.

Ken B on November 28, 2016 at 12:05 pm

Many years ago, my mother and sister took me to a pond near a house they were staying at in New Jersey. Or it could have been near where my mom and her husband lived in Westchester County. We were admiring the scenery, and noticed that there was a goose in the water, with some babies. The goose came up on land, walked right up to us, and as we backed off, started accelerating.

I was laughing and didn’t realize we were actually being attacked. I was bitten in the shin a few times, right through my pants, and this thing left some visible bite marks, which caused swelling later. WOW!!! Next time I take a close up gander at some geese, I think I’ll run if they head toward me.

Almost as dumb as Not So FOX(y)-News reporting that a shooting had occurred on Ho-hio State’s Crampus long after it was known there was no shooting, EXCEPT for the assailant thankfully being shot. Ya think there’s no media bias? They are ALL in the tank for the Democrats, including the “fair and balanced” network.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on November 28, 2016 at 1:10 pm

I, like KenB, would also like to thank Debbie for her reviewing Jeannine Pirro’s record. She is viewed as some kind of law enforcement goddess by some people I know. These are people you can’t make points with, and they are not liberals, either. Pirro is an opportunist and a phony, just as Debbie pointed out. Real easy to pop up and talk tough when someone paints you as a heroine and shoves a mike in your face, . . .

or gives you a platform. KenB is right about not being able to tell who’s who on FAKESY-News without a scorecard. That’s because it’s all the same Demmican-Republicrat mush.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on November 28, 2016 at 1:44 pm

So the new stabbing at Ohio State seems to be done by a Somali. So they withheld the identity initially, but by now, it’s well known that whenever they do that, people accurately guess that it’s done by a Muzzie

Abdul, that verse you cited is an incomplete one, since the very next verse after that states that if one does cause discord, the punishment for that is cutting off his left hand and right foot, and crucifying them. The ‘innocent’ here just applies to either Muslims, or those who’ve accepted Islamic supremacy, not others.

I’m busy now, but I might probably get to the rest of your ideas in another post

Infidel on November 28, 2016 at 2:27 pm

Yup, they stretched out the campus shooting part for a long time, Infidel. They were salivating over the possibility of being able to mount another public assault on the Second Amendment. I know they were hoping it was, because Dylann Roof has been all over the news for days.

Sorry folks, this wasn’t even a shooting. It was a terrorist act by a Muslim, one of the many acts that Debbie said a LONG time ago was going to become commonplace here. The destabilization is well underway, and The Muslim-In-Chief has but a short time to put his final act in to play.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on November 28, 2016 at 2:42 pm

During the occasional delays between new articles that Debbie puts up, I have at times grown restless and impatient. But I just keep reminding myself to read her archives. It could take years to go through them. They are incredibly educational, and really help complete one’s knowledge base. In so doing, one’s views are rounded, and perspective is finely honed.

Of late, as much as I find myself panting like a dog that hasn’t eaten in a week when new articles don’t go up right away, I just keep finding more and more stuff in the archives to peruse. Sometimes, I even go back and read certain articles a second, or third time.

I’m sure all the loyal regulars use this site the same way. But just in case you don’t, or for newbies who might sit around wondering what kind of a site doesn’t have something new every day, read the archives.

Reading Debbie Schlussel’s archives can be as valuable as reading new articles. Yes, there’s nothing like reading new stuff, because it’s now, right? Well, just as the Bible is as now as when those books were written, so is Debbie’s archives.

I say this partially because I’m chomping at the bit for new stuff, but also because of late, I’ve gone deep in to the archives, day after day. I’ve probably done more reading of the archives here in the past two weeks than at any other time in my nearly four years on this site.

In each case, I have found everything I’ve read to be of use to me NOW. I’m seeing a lot of people around here who are new to me. But perhaps they are coming back after long absences. I’m also missing the valuable commentary of old and knowledgeable favorites such as NormanF, skzion and a bunch of others.

People come and go from web sites for various reasons. Sometimes life gets in the way. It has happened to me on a couple occasions here, when life took me away from regular participation.

Debbie loves to put forth a phrase which became the name of a program that originated when I was 10 years old. READING Is Fundamental.

My mother was an avid reader, and regardless of whatever her shortcomings may have been, that’s between her and God. I can never forget, nor ignore the profound impact that she had on my life in her drive to make sure that I became literate, and not in a marginal way, but powerfully so. She used to love to tell people stories about how I took to reading like a fish to water.

My mom was right. As I grew in to young adulthood, I came to realize that my natural mathematical aptitude, reading and writing skills, gave me power to traverse the society I lived in. Despite lacking certain other life skills, I have never failed to understand how much knowledge can be acquired through reading, and how that knowledge helps one cope with every day life situations, believe it or not.

By the time I reached 7th grade, I had achieved a 12.2 reading level. I scored 11.8 on reading comprehension and 12.6 in vocabulary to reach that aggregate score.

This can be a very daunting world to live in. We supposedly are in The Information Age. However, many people don’t do too much “heavy reading” anymore. This has actually left many in our American society today bereft of valuable knowledge. Can you believe that? With all the reading people do on their devices, MANY are actually LACKING in valuable knowledge.

So, if you’ve forgotten that there is an archives here, or just haven’t thought about it lately, I urge you to take the time to read Debbie’s archives. The information is quite valuable and NECESSARY if one is to continue to wake up and make sense of an ever volatile world. Whether it’s six year old articles about Katy Perry, Sarah Palin, or a three year old article about a member of Hez-BLAH, please step away from whatever you’re rushing to get to next, and read Debbie’s archives.

Breaking my addiction to the NFL this year has afforded me even more time to peruse these archives. And remember, Debbie’s big time. Just because she’s not gracing the screen every night on a certain cable news channel as one of the bevy of porn star lookalikes they fill their airspace with, or going toe to toe with the fools at PMSNBC or the Clinton News Network every day, what she has to say and has said, for DECADES, is more valuable. And you can “hear” it by reading. Right here, right now. And no matter how old it is, it’s ALL relevant, . . .

TODAY.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on November 28, 2016 at 4:27 pm

Trump has ripped his britches if this is true, and itbsurely sounds like it IS true.
This just makes men sick to my stomach. She is very shifty……these are our children and grandchildren we are talking about. PLEASE retract your appointment…..we can not have this woman running the education of them.

Mary mark on November 28, 2016 at 4:51 pm

While I was waiting the three hours for my latest comment to get posted, I did some MORE reading of the archives here. And look at this priceless gem of a quote that I found, from none other than Debbie’s own father.

“. . . my late Dad told me it was meant to be because, he said, I was too good to be a colleague of “the losers, schmucks, dummies, low-lifes, and reprobates who serve in the State Legislature.”

EXACTLY. And WHY would Debbie’s father have said that to her? Because of what it says in the Bible. “Satan is the god of this world.” And what is Satan’s enemy, other than God Himself? TRUTH. Because UNVARNISHED TRUTH cuts through everything, and affords people the opportunity to see with total clarity.

And yet, unvarnished truth is sorely lacking these days, isn’t it? Well, you can find it here, which is why I put up that very long post above to begin with. And why I spoke of rounding out one’s knowledge base and honing perspective. Truth that comes through a filter tainted with special interest obligations and cronies isn’t good enough for people seeking truth in its totality.

In a world where any semblance of truth is fading fast, those who tell unvarnished truths are relegated to dark corners. It can still be found. But not on the home pages of news networks who traffic in hot chick (or not hot, like Ms. Kelly) commentators, and who have to scramble to cover up their own double dealing dirty ways.

So, when you have some free time, and you’re wondering what to do, when you’re waiting days for a new article to come up, there’s plenty here to occupy your time. Turn off the meaningless games played by people who don’t care about anything except their next idiotic tweet about the washed up cornerback they burned for two TD’s yesterday. Resist the temptation to pop a few chocolate truffles in your mouth and fall asleep in front of the evening snooze. Because that’s what it is. It’s snooze, designed to lull you in to a sense of stupidity.

Go to the archives here at Debbie’s web site, do some heavy reading, and grow in knowledge. It may help to actually protect you some day. We all need protection from lies. Lies started the mess this world finds itself in today. The first lie was told to our first parents. “You shall not surely die.”

Seek truth. If you’re looking for unvarnished truth, one place to find it is right here. Turn off the porn, put down the chips, turn OFF THE NETWORKS and local stations, and do some reading, . . .

right here. There’s a treasure trove in the archives of this web site.

I was really at a loss to understand picking Elaine Chao. He could have picked his nose and come up with something better. Maybe you can explain it to me, because I don’t get it. I do know that he’s surrounding himself with a strange mix of conservatives, phony conservatives, RINOs, and the otherwise inexplicable. Mitch McConnell, a consummate liar who goes WAY beyond RINO, snowed the people of his home state to get reelected, and his wife gets rewarded?!??!!!

One thing I do know about Trump. He’s not crazy, he’s crazy like a fox, so I’m sure there’s some method to all this madness. We’re going to have to wait until late January, . . .

IF he ever gets to take office. And I’m not talking about the recount. I’m talking about something else that’s been discussed on this site before. I truly fear for his life, because what’s happening here in NYC is beyond insane. New Yorkers are largely insane libtards anyway, but what’s been happening over the past few weeks since the initial demonstration gives new meaning to the term “mentally ill.”

Alfredo, I’ve got two theories on Trump’s “strategy” with these appointments (and both could be right). Neither of them bode well for the U.S.

By loading up his administration with primarily Establishment Republicans (including faux-conservatives and RINOs), Trump:

    (1) Believes he will win overall support in Congress to implement his actual initiatives, and, at the same time, he believes this will help to contain criticism from within the Republican Party. He also believes that this will better position himself for reelection.

    2. Is actually turning his back on most of his promises and commitments that actually got him elected in the first place, and he now intends to pursue a traditional “progressive light” series of programs that a Romney or Rubio would have implemented had they been elected.

However, if Trump honestly believes that he can implement programs more in line with his original promises by surrounding himself with faux-Republicans and RINOs, he is more than politically naive. Trump ought to remember one of the less discussed lessons about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer by rereading Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, or he may find the figurative equivalent of the following happen to him:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLWUSka0HOw
This is the Monty Python version of the scene, as some laughter is nearly always a good thing in these challenging times.

Unfortunately, theory #2 above seems to be in play.

There may not be sufficient Betsy DeVos “ayes.”

Tom Dockery on November 29, 2016 at 10:21 pm

We can only hope, Mr. Dockery, but it appears we are surrounded by Satan and his minions. The American people and our leaders, enough of them, have lost all good sense.

Everyone should read King Nebuchadnezzar’s dissertation when he regained his senses after living seven years in the wilderness. This was following his overthrow and deposition from his incredibly lofty perch in the known world of that time.

Humans are not capable of self-governance, nor were we meant to in the first place. It doesn’t matter, and it never has, who is President, Secretary of State, Speaker of The House, etc.

The United States was an incredibly nice try for humans stranded in limbo since the beginning of time, unmoored from our true center, which is The Government of God Almighty. But the reason for the obvious failure of the United States is that the age is coming to a close.

Never before has there been a nation like the United States, except for Ancient Israel, which in many ways our nation was supposed to be modeled after. But because humans have always been unmoored from our true center, all systems of government, and all good intentions, are destined to fail.

ONLY when humans have reached a state where they all collectively realize that there is absolutely no way out but to turn our attention to the heavens, will we be ready to accept the True Government that our first parents should have never left behind in the first place.

This country died when Ronald Wilson Reagan walked out the door, and a man I NEVER really trusted, his own Vice President, stabbed him in the back by declaring a “new world order” and a “kinder, gentler, America.”

That set the stage for the massive confusion which has existed in our government and electorate since then. It has given way to the era of Demmicans and Republicrats, with the most baffling choices of leaders shoved in front of our faces time and again.

Crooks, sneaky bastards, double dealing ratfinks, hypocrites, bold faced lying low lives, and booze and drug addled incompetents.

We (the USA) are DONE, and the world will soon be plunged in to darkness as a result. The formation and existence of the USA was the apex of human self-government, and by falling, the way is cleared for the end of the age, which must come at some point.

That point is NOW.

Here’s another comment about the archives, which is relevant TODAY. Anyone ever read Debbie’s article about People Magazine and Gabourey Sidibe? Want to know why America’s in the SHAPE it’s in today? Look at the percentage of posts from the mentally ill with poor perspectives (TROLLS) vs. the people who had the good sense to agree with Debbie.

Yup, we’re DEAD.

P: Please note that in general, Vdare is an anti-Semitic website, and I don’t promote traffic to Jew-haters. Therefore, the link you’ve posted has been deleted. The “information” contained in that article was already covered here by me in this article. It doesn’t need an echo chamber by neo-Nazis and supremacists. DS

Update, Trump picks Jew-hater James Mattis as Defense Secretary. Even worse than DeVos and a far more important position re Israel and foreign policy. Mattis froths about the settlements, supports Muslim immigration to America, calls Israel a potential apartheid state. Trump sold you down the river, I knew it. You all got taken for a ride. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Debbie, have you at all personally talked to Donald Trump about his choice of Betty DeVos and the information you have on her?

Wouldn’t Jared Kushner, his son-in-law, have known about what you mentioned? What about all the other Jews that are working with him and advise him?

This is good info. Hope thread still alive. Need someone to comment on the supposed credit and virtues given to devos over charter schools. I have been paste this link all over. Don’t know if anyone bothers to read

The problem with the opposition to Mrs. DeVos as we’ve been hearing from the media has been, it came exclusively from the usual suspects on the Left who are beholden 100% to the teachers’ unions. In short, for all the wrong reasons, which may explain one reason why many who consider themselves “conservative” fawned all over her and touted her supposed support of charter schools and school choice. Yet with her support of the leftist, morally-relativist, “global citizen”-oriented Common Core and the pro-Islamic “indoctrination” curriculum, wouldn’t she theoretically be on the same page as them and the NEA? No-one but Debbie, that I know of, has shone the light on this aspect, Betsy’s support of the Islamic curriculum. And the two RINO’s (Murkowski and Collins) who voted against her in the ‘tie’ vote that brought Vice President Pence to confirm Mrs. DeVos, today, are likewise teachers’ unions’ pets.

And to quote a comment on Debbie’s Twitter page viz Mattis after his confirmation as Secretary of Defense – and given that “tie-breaking” vote that confirmed Mrs. DeVos – we’ll see.
