Chris Christie: HAMAS Fan Calls Israel “Occupied Territories” @ Jewish Event

By Debbie Schlussel

HAMAS Fan Chris Chrispiecreme said Israel is “Occupied Territory” belonging to Palestinian terrorists. And the calorically-gifted Gov had the chutzpah to do it at a Jewish event.

alfrednewman6.jpgislamiccrescent

Why Were GOP Jews Feasting on Halal ChrispieCreme?

He made this pan-Arabist statement at an event, this weekend, held by Republican Jewish donor Sheldon Adelson under the banner of the Republican Jewish Coalition (which is barely Jewish and hardly Republican–check out my in-depth expose of this ineffective, anti-Israel organization of RINO-JINOs).

Mr. Christie, who is seeking to repair his image amid the bridge-traffic scandal in New Jersey, encountered trouble here when he referred to disputed regions claimed by Israel as “occupied territories,” a phrase sometimes used to refer to the West Bank and other areas where Israel keeps a military presence. Mr. Christie’s use of the politically sensitive phrase angered some attendees.

Um, if they’d bothered to pay attention as they should have, these attendees would have been far more angered by Christie’s frequent embrace of HAMAS terrorists and would wonder why he was at this event in the first place.

Now, Christie is saying it was a slip of the tongue and that he didn’t mean it. Uh-huh. Sure he didn’t. He just accidentally let his real feeling slip out, and that’s a problem gastric bypass surgery cannot mend. Again, this is exactly how Chrispiecreme really feels.

As I’ve told you over the past few years, as U.S. Attorney, Christie prevented Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from deporting an admitted HAMAS terrorist. Then, as Governor, he appointed the Muslim HAMAS fan who represented the HAMAS terrorist to a New Jersey judgeship. He also invited and feted several open supporters of HAMAS and Hezbollah to the Governor’s mansion. Then, he called all of us who are legitimately concerned about his open tolerance for and embrace of sharia and HAMAS, “crazies,” and said that complaints about this are “crap.”

So, it’s no surprise to me that he takes the HAMAS position on Israel–that it’s Islamic land “occupied” by Jews.

The surprise is that these many allegedly pro-Israel Jews who pretend to speak for me invited this fat HAMAS Republican zhlub to their confab in the first place. Christie’s aiding and abetting of HAMAS terrorists so they can stay in America should have been a deal-breaker for any Jew–no, any American patriot with even a scintilla of decency–to ever consider supporting him for any office, even dog catcher. His appointment of the HAMAS-supporting, extremist lawyer who represented the HAMAS terrorist to a New Jersey judgeship is deal-breaker Number Two. Or should have been. Now, Israel is–in his real view–“occupied territory.”

And that should have been the end of him as far as Jews are concerned. But as I’ve told you, the Republican Jewish Coalition, under the “leadership” of fat-ass Executive-Director-For-Life Matt Brooks (who is paid nearly $700,000 per year despite an overwhelming and growing Jewish vote against Republicans under his calorically-enhanced watch), has a history of honoring and endorsing Jew-haters, Israel-haters, and Islamic terrorism supporters.

What is disturbing is that Sheldon Adelson, who is pro-Israel and doesn’t embrace these views, is still associated and apparently financing the RJC to a great extent. As I’ve noted, I know Adelson and he maxed out on my campaign for the Michigan House. I’m disappointed that he invited Chris Christie to his Presidential candidate tryout event.

In any event, Governor Donut Boy’s statement about Israel should have been revealing, whether it was a Freudian slip or deliberately made. This is how he feels. You don’t “accidentally” use the langua franca of Islamic terrorists unless you actually identify with their views and their cause.

And that’s been Chris Christie’s history: helping Islamic terrorists against ICE agents, against New Jersey residents, and against you . . . if he becomes President.

G-d help us if that ever happens. Someone needs to tell Chrispiecreme that the cheers of his HAMAS friends are not, “allahu snackbar.”

***

One other thing: Chris Christie supports gun control, believes in global warming, and supports Islamic terrorists. So, tell me: he’s a Republican how . . . ?

Brooks and Christie? I guess calories just seek each other out.

I have been struck by the fact that in recent weeks, a number of Republicans have made statements about Obama’s foreign policy in Ukraine, but not a word about the browbeating of Israel to keep the ‘Peace Process’ going. Unfortunately, I am afraid that Christie’s views on this and other matters reflect those of the Republican Party leadership [sic] as a whole.

And equally irritating has been the whitewash of Christie re the Bridge fiasco. So a commission paid by him exonerated him? What would anyone expect from such a commission? And Guiliani, and way too many of the other so-called conservatives are taking these results as accurate, in spite of the fact that it is impossible for him not to have known about all of this. Is it even remotely possible that a former Prosecutor like Guiliani could be so naive?

And not a word from any of them about the real problem with Obamacare, i.e. the redistribution of income & services from the middle-class working people who pay taxes to those sponging off of them including the 26-year-old ‘children’. Are those among the children who are our future?

The website problems and difficulty signing up aggravate this problem, but they are not the main problem.

ha ha ha @ “and the calorically-gifted Gov” good zinger.

I do not know why people have to speak on things that don’t pertain to them and do not know anything about the subject that they comment about, i.e Christie speaking on Jewish matters. Not just him, but many do this and they need to SHUT IT.

I don’t comment on articles that Debbie writes regarding Jewish issues because I’m not educated enough in that area of subject matter and it does not pertain to me, but what I have gleaned throughout my readings is the Palestinians are wrong, and Im riding with the Jewish people. If America is Jerusalem’s ally, then ALL politicians who represent America need to represent this fully and stop this double speak, in my opinion.

Big D on March 31, 2014 at 1:33 pm

We can finally almost agree on something Big D but this issue does pertain to Christie because he has ties to groups that support Hamas.
Those ties are more important to him than any issues of principle.
So his knowing something about it is irrelevant.
He knows what he wants to know.

D, New Jersey has almost as many Jews as Israel does. At least that used to be the joke because there are a LOT of us there and Christie is the guv, for what that’s worth. But why is anyone, particularly a Proud Jewish American surprised at the tepid attitude of most American Jews towards Israel. My BIL (husband’s bro) whose parents were Holocaust survivors asked us ‘What ever made you go there in the first place?” Is he kidding? So now my FIL who is 90 but in great shape, is in a goyish Independent living place, very nice one, in Raleigh NC being served food he can’t eat. He’s Reform and not strictly kosher but he never ate pork or other things. We told him to come to Israel and BIL said “that’s not going to happen.” End of story.

Meira, for the life of me I can not understand why so many Jews are liberal. I have a brother in law who is Jewish and is a big Obama supporter. He converted to Christianity and I guess I would describe him as a JINO, like Debbie says, but he is a CINO too, because frankly I do not understand how this mans mind works. He claims to Love Israel but always takes the Palestinian side.

john on March 31, 2014 at 5:40 pm

AMERICAN Jews are largely descended from Russian Jews, many who were “peasants” and supported the Bolsheviks against the Tsar. The Ideals, not the reality of Communism, seemed to fit well with the Jewish ideals of caring for one’s fellow man, giving charity, living with enough, not more than you need and relying on a higher authority. FDR did a good PR job of hiding his anti-semitism and when his social programs “seemed” to be working, they were embraced by Jews who had lost their livelihoods and also fit well with the ideas of compassion and mercy. As an constantly oppressed people, there was immediate identification with other oppressed minorities, although it was often patronizing. I will continue in the next space because what I have to say answers DSR’s question too, I hope.

FDR? We must not forget the St. Louis…….

How could any Jew be an antizionist? Don’t they remember what happened in Nazi Germany? Didn’t they study the O.T. enough to realize that Israel historically belongs to the Jews? Is it p.c. guilt?

DS_ROCKS! on March 31, 2014 at 2:16 pm

See my comment to Big, D, DSR. I guess for my BIL, IBM and the millions he made there are his gods.

Meira on March 31, 2014 at 3:40 pm

There is a recent book by Norman Podhoretz, called “Why Are Jews Liberals?” It might provide a start to answering the questions that both of you raised. It should be available at most public libraries.

Little Al on March 31, 2014 at 6:16 pm

Thought about your question more as I was answering John above. There is often a dissonance between actual reality and psychology. I know many people here who love this country but whom you would probably call anti-zionists. They may be deluded, mislead and hopelessly idealistic but they really believe that the way to save this scrap of Land is to bargain with it. That doesn’t mean they aren’t sincere, they’re just sincerely WRONG. I think there is some guilt but it’s not only PC. We made a HUGE mistake in ’67 if not earlier by not annexing Judea and Samaria. Our leaders pushed the demography lie but what’s actually happened is that “Palestinian” birth rates have decreased while Jewish ones have increased and it’s not just among the Ultra-religious. I see Russian girls, as secular as can be, toting around 3 and 4 small children everywhere. We gave the Arabs who agreed full citizenship back in 1948 and they are educated, own businesses, live in better housing than many Jews and are free to join the IDF and participate fully in Israeli life, including having Knesset representation. That was the JUST AND COMPASSIONATE thing to do and now many are coming out and saying they are glad we did it, despite the agitators trying to keep the Nakba alive. Had we annexed Judea and Samaria, the displaced refugees, DISPLACED BY THEIR OWN RULERS, would be enjoying the same benefits and hopefully becoming good citizens as well. But if they weren’t, we’d have the right under International Law to kick them out. Now, we’re in a gray area of them not being naturalized citizens or permanent residents so we would be kicking out people without a country because no one will receive them. Of course, since that’s what happened to the Jews of Europe, we are very hesitant to do the same to another people. They have refugee status, they’re not “undocumented” aliens so it’s a complicated legal issue as well. We do not have a Torah government so we can’t apply the principles of Torah to the situation, which would allow us to get rid of them and let them fend for themselves. We chose to be ruled by Greek ideas and values so we’re stuck with Greek ethics.

Jewish support of Christie is very perplexing to me.

It appears that the Republicans are trying their best to lose the 2016 election. If the Republicans choose either Christy or Jeb Bush, they will be handing the election to Hillary Cliton.

I hope Deb that you send this column to your one time election patron Sheldon Adelson (who, incidentally, has the NICEST hotel in Las Vegas–the Venetian.).

The best thing that could happen for the Republican Party both in New Jersey and in the nation is if Christy got stuck going through a doorway, and his Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno had to assume the duties of governor. She is smarter and much more pro-Israel (geniuinely – I knew her in law school and she was pro-Israel then and now) than Fat Stuff.

Debbbie, when I first saw the title of this piece, I asked myself, just how “Jewish” could such an even t be?

Well, you answered that for us,…not very.

:-/

BTW, on one hand, I think you’re being too kind to Christie. OTOH, Christie will continue to say such things at so-called “Jewish” events, only because Jews allow him to.

“Chris Christie supports gun control, believes in global warming, and supports Islamic terrorists. So, tell me: he’s a Republican how . . . ?”

He also supports the homosexual lobby and its accompanying agenda, having signed last year into law a bill that bans so-called “gay conversion therapy,” as well as ostensibly “caving” on the issue of “gay”[sic] marriage. With all this under his huge belt, I was gonna’ ask the same question . . .

ConcernedPatriot on March 31, 2014 at 8:56 pm

Also, in spite of Christie’s vaunted ‘austerity’, New Jersey is in about the poorest financial shape of any state in the country.

But I guess, everything considered, that is an excellent qualification for being President of the United States.

Chris Christie occupies too much territory. When he walks, it is a seismic event.

Worry on April 1, 2014 at 6:03 pm

An essential piece of information: From 1948-67, the Arab League caused its Muslim members to expel their Jewish citizens which led to bloody riots and the confiscation of the bulk of Jewish assets accumulated over an up to 2600 years’ residence. The land stolen is an area more than twice the size of Israel and the number of those refugees, 870,000, now more than half the Jews in Israel today. Why is it that we hear endlessly about Palestinian Arab refugees and NOT about the Jews from Muslim countries from Iran to Morocco? I’ve been pondering this for over 60 years. I finally figured it out. You figure for yourselves.
