Yes, Rodman is a clown, and all the ridicule and contempt for him is justified.

But Rodman was not alone in his subservience to North Korea. Have we forgotten the infamous trip the NY Philharmonic Orchestra made to N. Korea a few years ago. It was reported and ridiculed on this blog, but not too many other places.

Because the NY Philharmonic was not exposed to the ridicule that Rodman is today, I suspect that much of the merriment over Rodman is more over Rodman’s buffoonery than over the horrors of North Korea. I will believe that there is contempt for North Korea as well when I see organizations like the New York Philharmonic exposed to the same type of widespread scorn that Rodman is being exposed to, today.

I still haven’t seen Kimmel yet doing anything funny, but I did see an interview clip of Rodman and the other morons talking about their “basketball diplomacy” tour and that was hilarious on its own.

Actually it’s almost kind of sad to see Rodman that far gone until I remember that the real sideshow tragedy is what Kim Jong Un is doing to his own people.

I think you all have it wrong. First of all when was that last time a liberal was told “I dont give a rats ass what the hell you think”? We should all be applauding. Rodman gets my props. Rodman is not an appointed official. Rodman is not going there on government money. He doesn’t owe anyone an apology or needs to answer their questions.
