Jihad USA: Arabic Language Mandatory @ NYC Public School – A Preview of America’s Dark Future

By Debbie Schlussel

A Va-JINO (my name for female Jews In Name Only) principal of a Manhattan public school is forcing the kids at her school to learn Arabic, instead of, say, a romance foreign language. Her excuse for this halal globaloney is that she wants the school to be International Baccalaureate (IB) certified.

islamusa2

That’s bunk. I was an IB candidate at my Detroit-area public high school (until I quit) and my foreign languages were French and Hebrew. The Hebrew for IB was so arcane and ridiculous that even the private Hebrew teacher tutor my parents hired had never heard of many of the words in the Hebrew book I was required to learn. At that point, I already spoke fluent Hebrew, but couldn’t understand most of the silly Hebrew book, so I quit IB (which is highly overrated–my classmates who took AP classes and ignored IB began with more college credits than I did when we began freshman year at the University of Michigan).

Students can learn any of many foreign languages–including the classic romance languages–and earn an IB diploma. This principal-ette is doing this to shove Muslim propaganda down the kids’ throats. In my Arabic classes at Michigan, for example, there was no Israel on our map, just this mythical horror show called “Palestine.” And so on. Moreover, teaching young kids Arabic will make them more sympathetic to Arab culture, which is dominated by Islam. It’s appropriate that the name of this idiotette principal is Nicky Kram Rosen, with an emphasis on Kram It Down Their Throats. If she was really interested in teaching the kids a useful language beyond French, Spanish, or Italian, she would have chosen Chinese or Japanese. Or why not Hebrew? There are far more Jews (and far more each of Irish, Italians, and Hispanics) in New York than Muslims and Arabs combined (though, sadly, that is quickly changing because the schmucks Bush and Obama doubled America’s Muslim population through immigration to America since 9/11).

An upper Manhattan public elementary school will be the first in the city to require that students study Arabic, officials said yesterday. Beginning next semester, all 200 second- through fifth-graders at PS 368 in Hamilton Heights will be taught the language twice a week for 45 minutes — putting it on equal footing with science and music courses.

One reason Principal Nicky Kram Rosen selected Arabic — as opposed to more common offerings, such as Spanish or French — is because it will help the school obtain a prestigious International Baccalaureate standing. “She proposed this to the parent association. They were very supportive,” said Angela Jackson, CEO of the Global Language Project, which is backing the initiative.

Hmmm . . . Angela Jackson. I’ll bet she’s the “perfect” combination of Angela Davis and Jesse Jackson in politics and morals.

“Arabic has been identified as a critical-need language,” she said, citing students’ future “career trajectories.’’

Yup, “critical” for helping the brothers in HAMAS develop new IEDs and the “career trajectory” of Master Beheader.

“It means they can spin the globe and decide where they want to work and live.”

Huh? Uh, no, it means they can learn the hatred that goes along with the language. They will learn that the world “allah” means “G-d,” instead of “Muslim imaginary master of the moongod cult.” Who on earth appointed this moronette–Ms. Jackson, if you’re nasty–the queen of deciding that you must learn Arabic “to spin the globe” and “decide where to work and live”? The majority of this earth’s population does not know Arabic and the majority of us and can live and work where we want.

Students now taking the class in a pilot program during their free afternoon periods said it’s been a challenge — but a rewarding one. “I like Arabic class. I like the words we learn. I thought they sounded funny at first, now I think they sound cool,” said Nayanti Brown, a 7-year-old second-grader. “I teach my little sister the words I learn.’’ Nayanti said her mother was skeptical at first. “When I gave my mom the [permission slip] to sign, she was shocked. [Now] she’s happy I’m in the class,” she said.

The Arabic requirement becomes mandatory in September. But PS 368 is a so-called “choice’’ school and no kids, even those living nearby, are forced to attend it. If the school ever enrolls a student who objects to learning Arabic, administrators will deal with that on a case-by-case basis, Jackson said.

And here’s the money quote about the real agenda here:

Mohamed Mamdouh, who teaches the pilot program, said, “Soon, Arabic will be a global language like French and Spanish.

And Arabic’s conceptual soulmate, jihad, is already a global perpetration. Look for that to gain support from these young minds of mush as they grow up, programmed in the pan-Arabist point of view that goes along with the “innocent” language lessons.

Sadly, the parents at this school are clueless sheep who’ve drunk the halal Kool-Aid.

Bella Moon Castro, 34, of Harlem, signed her son up and is glad he’ll have a chance to learn Arabic.

“This makes the world smaller for the kids. It develops their confidence,” Castro said.

Is this woman insane? Since when did it develop anyone’s confidence to learn the language of oppression and terrorism? The language most of whose female speakers must wear sheets over their heads showing only their eyes, because some ugly chick’s toe-hair might turn some uncontrollable Muslim guy on.

Sadly, this is the future of America. The Halal Big Apple today, your neck of the woods tomorrow.

He may sleep with the fishes, but Osama Bin Laden is having the last laugh.

Say good-bye, America. Or is that, “Aleikum, Salaam”?

This is, sadly, quite expected.

Debbie couldn’t be more right: if the point were to learn a language for international work, Spanish is the top choice, followed by Chinese and perhaps Hindi. Arabic is almost totally useless, except for the CIA, I guess.

There’s a reason the Koran is so widely translated: most of the Dar al-Islam can’t speak Arabic. And, Arabic is really not one language anyway. Which to teach? Furthermore, almost none of the Arabic-speaking countries will ever be visited for any reason, let alone a career.

skzion on October 22, 2013 at 5:02 pm

Yeah, but it will give them a heads up when it comes to understanding the Quran. Most Arabic Muslims agree on this point.
This is a smart investment in the future, if you can call it a future.
As for visiting Arab countries – why travel abroad for what you can get at home?

Frankz on October 22, 2013 at 8:18 pm

Now, I always thought that more exposure to these languages would be a good thing. Arabic, Persian, Farsi, Turkish…We should encourage students to study as many languages as possible.

However, I come back to the 64,000 riyal question. Who is the teacher? **Perhaps some of the Jewish FBI/CIA/NSA agents could quietly start small language schools. That is how one elderly Chinese woman in our area makes some extra money.

(**I remember the story you did about Jewish linguists being passed over for promotions. That’s where I got the idea.)

And for the black kids who take the course, it dovetails quite nicely into the muslim proselytizing that they’ll later receive in NY prisons.

DS_ROCKS! on October 22, 2013 at 5:06 pm

Why even inject “lack kids who take the course” off point, desperate and lame. Give it a rest, quite juvenile.

Big D is sure a sensitive little flower.

DSR’s snarky comment just happened to be on-point. Not only is Nation of Islam big in prisons, but a prevalence of Arabic could lead to real Islam.

I’ve known numerous people that have “taught” in the NYC school system. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the whole system is FUBAR.

David on October 22, 2013 at 6:00 pm

I think this is a good idea, here’s why. When the time for open jihad comes to America these kids, who will later have to fight it (except those who get converted), will be able to understand the enemies’ communications so they will know what they are planning or actually doing. Learn well kids, your future may depend on it, because your parents’ generation weren’t allowed to see the threat due to political correctness and the threat of being called a racist.

JerryJ26 on October 22, 2013 at 8:26 pm

Muslims the world over will be moved. They’ll be tearing up, touched and appreciative of our foresight and sensitivity; and licking their lips in anticipation– down the line–of bringing Jihad Day celebrations into American classrooms.

How long before our children are taught to say, “Take my country…please” in Arabic?

lee of the lower case "l" on October 22, 2013 at 10:18 pm

Well, NYC’s soon-to-be new mayor will probably make Jihad Training and Sympathy, I mean Arabic, a city-wide initiative, just as he shuts down all the charter schools there.

adam on October 22, 2013 at 10:56 pm

Well, I could have understood what all those yellow taxi drivers who took me in to work on the midnight shift were saying on the phone, had I understood Arabic all those years ago. Perhaps I could have caught something about 911 in advance, although I told my ex-girl about ten days before that something terrible, unprecedented, horrifying was about to happen in NYC, DC, and somewhere else I couldn’t figure out. I had been waiting for Islamic terrorism to come to American soil ever since the Lebanon bombing of October 23, 1983. Unhappy 30th Anniversary tomorrow, y’all.

Other than that, this is more politically correct bullshit. Some good points have been made though, about kids who get training in this perhaps using it some day for national security reasons. The problem with that reasoning is the USA is going to cease to exist before that can happen. Anyone see the reports about the condition of the Army? They couldn’t fight a neighborhood gang on the streets outside of Yankee Stadium right now.

America’s dead, just like Fred,
That’s what Curtis Mayfield said.

Okay, let’s try to examine the point DS_ROCKS made in another context, although I fully understand BigD’s sensitivity to the way it was made. Let’s try another angle, but let me first go back to the immortal words of Willie Hutch (1973). After all, except for the trolls, and outside of some minor ideological disagreements here, we’re all supposedly on the same page. Right? Peace, y’all. Skunky actually got through an entire thread (so far, LOL!!!) without saying BigDumbDinky.

“Brothers gon’ work it out,
Brothers gon’ work it all out,
Don’ gimme that peace sign if you don’ mean it from your heart,
United we can get over, . . .”

Okay, let’s put away the nerf bats before all us folks on one page show the world yet again how DISUnited we are here in Debbie’s living room.

Let’s go back to when The Community Organizer In Chief talked about a national youth militia on the campaign trail before his first “term.” I immediately dubbed that a Hitler Youth style movement. Then, fast forward to about a year or so ago, when Calypso Louie was addressing a Nation Of Islam conference, saying that such a force was already in place, the Gangs Of America.

He went on to say that perhaps they could be trained in warfare. I think he meant urban warfare, and I think it’s more directed at recruiting the Nation Of Islam, and the youth structure they have there. Okay, a few months ago I read that the 1.6 billion hollow point rounds, the first order, went missing. Getting scared yet? I am, and I have been ever since this guy was “elected” the first time. I gave you the dots, connect them.

Don’t agree? Okay, but it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve predicted something that eventually came true for America. Been doing it since just after Elvis died. I did it 30 years ago tomorrow, when I told people some day that was coming to our soil. I reiterated that point immediately after the bombing of the USS Cole 13 years and 10 days ago. Of course, whenever I say stuff like that, people roll their eyes, or marginalize me in one way or another. Then, a week and a half before 911, I told my ex-girl that something fierce, bad, unprecedented and horrible was about to happen, NYC, DC and another nebulous location. Did it?

Any way you flush it, this Arabic thingy in schools was either going to happen in NYC or San FranCrisco, and it IS going to bite us in the ass. The ass we should all be kissing goodbye, because . . .

IT’S OVER, AMERICA!!!

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on October 22, 2013 at 11:01 pm

A post this long that so easily breezes right along passes the compelling reading test.

But, Alfredo, such sobering, chilling, provocative commentary just before bedtime? I fear nightmares with nigh-sweats.

    Good job!

To those who posit that if we understand Arabic we are better equipped against the enemy I can note that when Attaturk wanted to modernize Turkey, he banned written Arabic and created a new alphabet, thus helping cut off Turkish youth from the ability to read Arabic.

Of course, what would Attaturk know?

skzion on October 22, 2013 at 11:24 pm

Attaboy, Attaturk!!!

Lee, I know. The Great StainMaker longed for the day when he was in “the minority.” I long for the day when all strife has ceased. It’s coming, but unfortunately, not yet. Thanks for the compliments. God bless you. God bless us all.

“VaJINO” has been entered in the world’s greatest online American political lexicon (my website).

Congratulations and keep the coinages coming!

Barry Popik on October 23, 2013 at 2:09 am

Oops, I used the same link twice. Here’s the world’s greatest online American political lexicon. Over 1,500 terms (acronyms, words, phrases, quotations), with historical etymology and links for each one.

“VaJINO” has also been defined as a “Virginia Jew In Name Only,” but this meaning (applied to both males and females) goes against the acronym.

Barry Popik on October 23, 2013 at 2:17 am

I am in favor of multilingual education in public schools. Languages are windows to the outside world. Learning the cultures and/or religion is an integral part of better understanding of these languages. Its just a matter when it borders on indoctrination. As someone who is an opponent of proselytizing your religious, cultural, and political believes upon others, I do feel that it’s better to learn religion or culture for the sake of understanding the language better than the reverse. Hate speech and insinuating genocide of a certain group of people in the Middle East,or denying the existence of a certain country – particularly Israel – is not the way to go about teaching Arabic.

Challah Maidel on October 23, 2013 at 9:56 am

Challah, the point of this essay was not to reject the idea of learning another language but rather to reject the choice of language being pushed and the rationale given for pushing it.

skzion on October 23, 2013 at 12:40 pm

Challah, huh? One of my favorite things. And your last sentence is exactly why Arabic is now being taught at that school. The march is on, toward continuing to convince the world that U.S. hegemony and Israeli aggression are the cause of all its problems.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on October 23, 2013 at 10:37 am

I agree that this principal is overstepping her authority. However, I think it is very important for non-Muslims to learn Arabic. I encouraged my daughter to try and get the minimum number of students needed to have an Arabic class at her Jewish day school (it didn’t happen). I had some Muslim organization send me a free koran – a huge, illustrated hard-bound copy that must have cost them at least $50 to print and ship. That’s $50 they can’t mail to Hamas. Although it offers (a most likely sanitized) English translation, I’d love to read it in the original. And heck, just to be able to say “am Yisrael chai” in Arabic to Muslims I see would be worth learning Arabic.

Although since 9/11 the government won’t hire non-Muslim Arabic speakers for intel and diplomatic work, maybe some day people will tire of the intentional mis-translations provided by these Muslims, and start to hire non-Muslim Arabic speakers. If that would happen, perhaps people who understood the Muslim threat would be involved in our security and intelligence efforts. I know, fat chance.

Phillip, does your daughter know Hebrew?

Debbie, in addition to everything you said, I particularly agree w/ teaching kids Chinese, Japanese & Korean, if they are to be linguistically benefited. There’s a lot more to gain from being fluently able to follow things in those countries while travelling there for business or other reasons.

Infidel on October 24, 2013 at 6:55 pm

An open door for Islam and Arabian influence started many decades ago as petroleum wealth was negotiated with the Saudi royal family. As usually happens to us in such circumstances, we dealt with people much more farsighted and broad-thinking than ourselves. The narrow objective from our side of the deal was great wealth for a few families who would benefit from such an agreement (families with banking connections as well.) The riches obtained by those on the other side of the table led to great geopolitical influence as well as acceptance of great sum of money by those throughout government, academia, and elsewhere. Such outcomes could have been easily foreseen by those not distracted by lust for wealth and power, but now we have to wake up to prevent the downfall of our country as seen today in the United Kingdom. Debbie, thanks for your efforts and application of your intelligence in that endeavor. Israel, the United States, and all the rest of not brought under Islam owe you gratitude.
