Even NYTimes Shocked by Blithering Wacko Piers Morgan, Clobbered by Gun Advocate Larry Pratt – MUST WATCH VIDEO
It says a lot about blithering liberal whack job Piers Morgan that even the liberal New York Times was taken aback by his obnoxious, unhinged behavior on last night’s edition of his little-watched CNN show. The New York Times accurately said Morgan was “losing it” when he was unable to respond with reasoned arguments to the well-reasoned, well-spoken, and even-keeled Gun Owners of America chief Larry Pratt. Instead, because he could not refute Pratt’s terrific arguments and solid statements, Morgan resorted to utter rudeness, belittling Pratt and calling him an “idiot.” The thing is, the exchange made quite clear that Pratt was the brilliant one, Morgan the obvious idiot. He’s just obnoxious. You must watch the video, below. Pratt cleaned Morgan’s clock, and Morgan couldn’t handle it (he clearly needs medication or anger management or something). I also think that his last attack on Pratt was because he raised the specter of Neville Chamberlain, and I believe that Piers Morgan is so ignorant that he doesn’t know who Chamberlain was or his significance in “fighting the good fight” for capitulation to Nazis (the same fight Morgan seems to be fighting today).
Oh, and by the way, as I’ve noted on this site, before, Piers Morgan was fired from the newspaper he ran in England, after running fake photos of “atrocities” committed by British troops in Iraq, photos that were not only false but which cost some British soldiers their lives. Morgan also helped himself to some insider trading while at the paper, too. (No wonder this jerk is on the Crescent/Coran News Network.)
And, yet, this total schmuck has the gall to question Larry Pratt’s integrity? Incredible.
I would call Piers Morgan an a-hole. But that would be an insult to rear ends and what comes out of them.
More from the New York Times television reporter David Carr:
Anybody who has been watching “Piers Morgan Tonight” on CNN since the shootings at the Sandy Hook elementary school could discern he is no fan of guns, but on Tuesday night he made it clear that he doesn’t much like the people who own them either.
Interviewing Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America, he went off on Mr. Pratt in a way that rarely occurs outside some of the more rugged reality shows on television.
Mr. Pratt was making the argument that what America needed was more guns, not fewer, than the 300 million already in circulation, and that schools need serious weaponry on hand to meet the threat of force like the one in Newtown, Conn., last week. . . . Mr. Morgan erupted.
“You’re an unbelievably stupid man, aren’t you?” Mr. Morgan said. . . .
Mr. Pratt did not take the bait, calmly continuing to elucidate his argument. “It seems to me you are morally obtuse,” he told Mr. Morgan. “You seem to prefer being a victim to being able to prevail over the criminal element. I don’t know why you want to be the criminal’s friend.”
To which Mr. Morgan responded: “What a ridiculous argument. You have absolutely no coherent argument. You don’t actually give a damn about the gun murder rate in America.”
It was a bit of a moment, watching a talk show host losing it talking to one of his guests. It’s clear that advocates for the rights of gun owners should expect very tough sledding if they agree to a slot on Piers Morgan in the future.
[Emphasis added.]
What’s clear is that anyone smarter than Piers Morgan–which is most of the population–who agrees to go on his irrelevant show, will be the victim of unhinged rants of a crazy man without a conscience or any sense of common decency.
By the way, I have a solution to Mr. Morgan’s views on gun control. Take him away from the posh L.A. home in which he lives and the secure CNN studios and drop him in South Central. I doubt his fancy English accent and empty insults will go far there, certainly not as far as a gun.

Didn’t Piers Morgan have one of those afternoon talk shows where the guests are all reprehensible and are just there to be insulted by the host? I guess he thinks real news interviews are conducted the same way.
