Check out my appearance from early yesterday morning on radio talk show host Pat Campbell’s show on KFAQ-AM 1170 in Tulsa, in which we discussed the HAMAS war on Israel. I was a little less animated than normal because I was up late the night before and called early in the morning to do this (I think I was half asleep).
Great interview, Debbie. I didn’t think you sounded subdued at all. After all, even on a bad day, you’re still way better than the competition on their best days.

I thought the interview was just fine. Keep in mind, Debbie, that you have a command of the facts, and could easily disarm most pop political commentators even when you’re half asleep.
I hope that Israel leaves a lasting and powerful message with Hamas, because that is the only thing they understand. One thing though. How come the media including Fox news keep on saying “over 130 Palestinians were killed and five Israelis died”?
It shows more that you tell the truth while they play the blame game. Let it be clear that the Israelis were murdered by the Islamic evil barbarians.

I agree, Daniel. The major media constantly report the ongoing events as some kind of sporting event with “scores” like 135 to 5. These numbers are constantly repeated to falsely depict Hamas as an “Underdog” against the “Zionist Imperialists.” If the “scores” went the other way, you probably wouldn’t see them because they wouldn’t report them over and over. This kind of “reportin” is also consistent with the deceitful and constant references to “disproportional response” from Israel to the attacks from Hamas. And then the “friends” of Israel, like Diane Feinstein, come on the air to say that “Israel has a right to defend itself,” but temper that language with a “need” to get back to implementing a “two state solution.” Yeah, let’s reward terrorists with some land concessions and carve up Israel. That sends the “right” message. Solution my AX5$*!!! Disgusting.

I wish this narrative that “Israel just wants peace” would not be taken as a good thing. There is nothing virtuous about endangering your people while reinforcing your enemy’s ability to make war.
The behavior of Israel’s political elite is deeply immoral, and not only from a Halachic perspective. Defense is one of the few unquestionable roles of government.
