HUH? Famous “Conservative” Says “Magic of America” is Having Muslims Run the Public Schools

By Debbie Schlussel

As I’ve noted before on this site, I despise the uber-pretentious, overly gushing fraud of a “conservative,” Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan. As I said before, she is over-rated, not conservative, phony, full of hot air, and she says a whole lot of nothin’. Reading her “work” is like being assaulted by a time bandit. Valuable life moments stolen, which can never be redeemed. During the 2008 campaign, she shamelessly defended Barack Obama, his church, and Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s racism, Jew-hatred, and anti-Americanism. The woman is a an idiot and reminds me of the crazy redhead on “Seinfeld” who heckled Jerry, published Kramer’s coffee table book on coffee tables, and got Elaine’s promotion out of sympathy for her amputated pinky toe. But her latest column, singing the virtues of America on Friday (in a belated Independence Day piece), was just beyond ridiculous. Ridiculous because she sings the praises of having Muslim extremists leave the Middle East and impose their intransigent savagery on the public schools. This is what we should be applauding in American freedom? Only if you don’t want American freedom for much longer. Or if you’re a moron as Noonan is. Read this Arabian Nights fantasy:

Peggy Noonan: Obama Gusher Now Cheerleader for Muslim Immigrants Running Schools

The Mideast is a cauldron, but when its residents move here, they wind up on the same PTA committee. It sounds sentimental, but this is part of the magic of America, and the world still knows it even if we, in our arguments, especially about immigration, forget.

OMG, my grass needs fertlizing and the ultra-rich fecal material arrived just in time!

Um, the “magic” of America, or the fallacy of America? The “magic” of America, or the ACLU-style loophole of America? Only someone completely obtuse to what is happening in American school districts where Muslims run the show–such as in Dearbornistan and Dearbornistan Heights, where everyting halal rules the day and in which school officials apologize to mobs of jihadist parents after barely discipling Arab Muslim students who wore sweatshirts praising the 9/11 attacks by Muslims on America.

The world is laughing at us, not seeing, “hey, this is the magic of America.” The world is sneering and snickering at us, saying, “this is the idiocy of America. They allow us to take over their institutions from within.”

Wake up, Peggy Noonan. You need a reality check. And a lid put on your gushing imbecilic musings. The drivel is killing me.

Her column is entitled, “‘Is That Allowed?’ ‘It Is Here.'”

Well, yeah, it is allowed here. And it’ll be the death of us.

What a treacly, misinformed, psychotic piece that that piece of sh*t hack regurgitated onto her keyboard. Noonan is a loon.

She needs to STFU and read Debbie’s column every day.

DS_ROCKS! on July 10, 2012 at 2:59 pm

She has dementia. She needs medical care…. Very very sick…

As goes... on July 10, 2012 at 11:18 pm

Debbie, you’re right but I guess Noonan read this bit of “inspiration” from the Founding Fathers: http://www.stephenjaygould.org/ctrl/treaty_tripoli.html

“Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.”
If you as an attorney, can find a loophole in this Treaty that permits discrimination against Islam, I hope you can because as it is now, it’s a dangerous argument and document. I was really shocked and dismayed when I found this Treaty. I knew that the Founding Fathers were NOT Christians for the most part and that when they said “not establish a religion” they didn’t mean only Christianity and maybe Judaism but this did open the door to what you’re now seeing. If SJG knew about it to write about it, you can bet the ACLU does too and is just waiting for an opportunity to use it.

Let me remind everyone that the country in question here was Libya.

Italkit on July 10, 2012 at 3:02 pm

It seems that she needs to visit Tahrir Square for some reeducation. I wonder if that experience would be magical for her?

how many ways can “we the people” get hoodwinked?

She was always a straddler when it came to politics. She’s not been able to recover since going all-in on Obama and like David Brooks, stand exposed for the vapid scribes they both are and have always been.

P. Aaron on July 10, 2012 at 3:21 pm

I wonder how this woman ever got to be Ronald Reagan’s speechwriters. The years have caught up with her and she hasn’t grown in wisdom, that’s for sure.

NormanF on July 10, 2012 at 3:29 pm

I love how Debbie placed two images in this blog – an image of Noonan on top and an image of crescent moon and star on below. But note how Noonan’s necklace goes down to the crescent moon as if she has a very large pimp bling jewell, kinda like Flava Flav with a pimp bling of large clock. It’s perfect for Noonan’s pimping with Islam. Nice job, Debbie!

Bob on July 10, 2012 at 3:42 pm

You’re right Bob. Looking at that picture of this twit it does look like ole Peggy is sporting a large Flava Flav like bling. I think that Debbie did it on purpose to further show us what an utterly vapid idiot she’s turned out to be. And just like Flav’s clocks Peggy doesn’t know what time it is.

@ Italkit:

That Article 11 allegedly came from the 1797 Treaty of Tripoli, but the treaty itself had been broken by the Tripoli Muslims in 1801 when the Barbar pirates waged war against the US again, resulting in the Barbary Wars.

As to the legitimation of Article 11 has been called to questions:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Tripoli#Article_11

In my opinion, Article 11 was an illegitimate provision.

I too have always thought Peggy Noonan to be pretentious. What’s more, rather than explain Conservative positions to Liberals, she believed more in making nice w/ them, making her role in most programs completely worthless.

Like Norman, I too wonder how she was ever one of Ronald Reagan’s speechwriters. But then again, Reagan also had Jim Baker and Alan Keyes in his administration, and those were the days when Communism was the enemy, and they played that role well. When Islam is the enemy, they are useless.

Reminds me of the famous cliche in the Silicon Valley – if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem will look like a nail

Her only exposure to the real world is the few fleeting moments between leaving her New York apartment building with the doorman hailing her a taxi and the time it takes to go to a $100 an entree restaurant or a $500 a seat Broadway play.

So I hardly expect her to be a reliable source of reality.
Maybe a few years in the trenches would wake her up, but I doubt that that’s going to happen.

smg45acp on July 10, 2012 at 5:50 pm

Amen! The more I read DS the more I am privy to what is right and wrong about American culture. I am so glad you gave it to this pretentious gusher of nonsense and pap. She lost all credibility with me when she defended Obama-Putin and I am sure if I paid more attention to her before that I’d have been on to her fraudulent ways sooner.

She is in my top 10 of who I wanna see totally shamed for her aiding and abetting of Obama-Putin. This woman is a heap of cow crap to me.

And at the end of the day, this podunk palaver spewing freak doesn’t know a THING about Islam or Moooooooslims.

This site makes it very easy to spot the fakers and know-nothings and this old broad (Noonan) needs to be sent out to pasture to eat all the cow patties (and bore the other poor cows) her stupid mouth can handle. She just makes my blood boil!

Skunky on July 10, 2012 at 6:07 pm

Don’t worry. She’ll be wearing a hijab by the time she’s done on the planet.

Not Ovenready on July 10, 2012 at 7:04 pm

Bubble-head. Air-head. Noonan has always been a bore. Debbie is 100% correct. She’s the New York Times liberals idea of a tolerable conservative. Who cares what she has to say about anything.

Shadowmaster on July 10, 2012 at 7:16 pm

Noonan gets trashed whenever a newspaper allows electronic comments that are critical of her.

But really, there are so many “conservative” morons that one quickly loses count. Just look at National Review today and you will find Victor Davis Hanson, Rich Lowry, Charles Krauthammer, Mona Charen, Fraudkin, Dennis Prager–and those are only the ones I have read often enough to despise.

skzion on July 10, 2012 at 7:27 pm

Debbie you’re so right to call out this bobbleheaded nitwit. Peggy Noonan started going off the rails a long time before she started taking double shots of the Obama koolaid. Now as if that wasn’t bad enough she has taken time out from gazing at her hero’s picture long enough to write this crapulence. What is it with these so-called conservatives and their love for all things Muslim? Mz Noonan needs one of two things. A swift dose of reality or an extra large cup of STFU to replace her Obamaid(Marxist red cherry flavor). If it were me I’d serve her #2.

Ken b on July 10, 2012 at 7:42 pm

Peggy Noonan is a tool.

Kent on July 10, 2012 at 8:12 pm

As long as it isn’t HER kids attending that particular school, then it becomes a real “progressive,” idea doesn’t it?. And George Soros actually believes this ideology isn’t “RE-gressive?” Surely, you jape!

Patrick on July 10, 2012 at 8:27 pm

“Reading her “work” is like being assaulted by a time bandit” (should read ‘ass bandit’)

AnusPresley on July 11, 2012 at 11:05 am

DS is too kind to Ms Nonan.

Bobguzzardi on July 11, 2012 at 11:09 am

Noonan does have the one quality that is common to all pretentious people – she is a bore. Pretentiousness is boring.

She did write one good column about 11 years ago. Shortly after 911 she wrote a column describing her observation of some young muslim men videotaping some landmark building in NYC. She was (rightly) suspicious that this video would end up in the hands of terrorists planning their next attack (which it probably did). She wrote that she wished she had tackled them on the street and screamed for help until police and crowds arrived to intervene and grab the videotape. She wrote that this is what we should all do when we see Muslims videotaping buildings (I am sure I am not imagining this column – although it has been years since I read it).

That was the last interesting piece she ever wrote.

salt1907 on July 11, 2012 at 5:23 pm

Peggy Noonan should be ashamed of herself.
