Terrorist’s Family Threatens to Sue Over Dubai Mossad Movie (b/c It Depicts Him as a Flirt)

By Debbie Schlussel

Remember Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh, the HAMAS terrorist and arms dealer who was killed in a Dubai hotel, probably by the Mossad? He was the go-between for HAMAS to obtain weapons and explosives from Iran for use against Israel. And now an Israeli director is making a movie about him. Sadly (and ironically), the movie stars Israeli draft-dodger Bar Refaeli. But what’s hilarious is that the terrorist’s family is threatening a lawsuit over the movie, apparently because it portrays the guy as something of a flirt . . . not because it shows that he’s a terrorist and murderer of Jews because, hey, that’s a great thing in their culture.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — The family of a slain Hamas operative is seeking to block the release of a movie being made in Israel about his 2010 assassination in a Dubai hotel.

The killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was widely blamed on Israel’s Mossad spy agency.

Emmanuel Nakash, the French-Israeli director of “Kidon,” or Spear, has said his movie is not meant to be factual. In a plot twist, a gang of criminals murder al-Mabhouh to frame the Mossad. One scene shows al-Mabhouh, a senior figure in an Islamic fundamentalist group, flirting in a hotel bar.

Ahmed al-Mabhouh, a cousin of the Hamas operative, said Sunday that the family feels the movie is a distortion and plans to go to court to prevent its release. He says details such as which court should be the venue of the lawsuit are still being worked out.

The movie sounds crappy. But, if they sue in Israel, they will have some very friendly, pro-HAMAS, left-wing Israeli judges to hear the case. In Israel, Arab Muslims often sue and win in cases against Israeli Jews. But a Jew suing them in their courts? Fuhgedaboutit.

In Israel, the terrorists often have more rights than the citizenry. There is a bill in Israel that any Israeli (Arab) caught in a terrorist act will lose half of his social security benefits. I have a better idea. How about he loses his life?

What stupidity!!!!!!!

I am sure the morons on the bench in Israel will entertain this suit.

“The family of a slain Hamas operative is seeking to block the release of a movie being made in Israel about his 2010 assassination in a Dubai hotel.”

Note how the article describes Al-Mabhouh as an “operative” – not a terrorist, not a gun runner, not even a “militant”. Well, it is AP after all.

Agree about the irony of using draft-dodger Rafaeli as the seductress. Yes, they could have used an Israeli actress who *had* served, but Rafaeli has the name recognition and her regular place on the “hot” list. (Over-rated in my book.)

Why not put that family on the next to do list? They have more or less admitted to enabling the man. This suit is surprising because the flirting stuff would have humanized an otherwise bestial character. Or, did Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh’s tend more toward boys? We musn’t be homophobic;)

The BBC will no doubt produce a film showing that the murdering creep was worthy of the Nobel peace prize….

Don’t bet against al-Mabhouh if the case goes to the leftist Israel Supreme Court.

Netanyahu made a speech about a very real danger to Israel’s very existence – out of control illegal immigration from Africa, and the rising crime that’s apparently associated with it.

He stated that the tens of thousands of illegals could become hundreds of thousands. I assume he means through high birth rates of “anchor babies”.

Besides a porous border with Egypt, a key reason (the very same reason it’s occuring in the US as well) is GREEDY SELFISH EMPLOYERS AND INDIVIDUALS who hire the illegals to get cheap labor at the expense of the country itself.

Both Israel and the US should HEAVILY FINE and possibly imprison companies and individuals who knowingly hire illegals.

But being a flirt is something Muslims are allowed, no? They are allowed 4 wives @ any given moment, and if they want to chop and change them, they can. So given that his quran sanctions it, why is he offended @ the insinuation?

I think Israel desperately needs to fight another war to remember the experiences of 1967 and 1973 – too many of their people have no idea. Well, w/ the new Egyptian government wanting to end the Camp David Treaty, and the Syrians likely to follow suit if Assad is overthrown, looks like that opportunity might come sooner rather than later.

Hey Infidel, you’re quite the armchair warrior aren’t you…

FYI, I was a young teenager during the 1973 war… Till this day I vividly remember my neighbor’s wailing when she was notified that her son (a tank commander in the Sinai) had been killed… In 1982 I was myself in uniform… I had to bury a couple of my childhood friends… During 2006 I was at home with 3 kids and a wife who was 7 months pregnant…

During all of the above you were most likely quite safe in the US…

Don’t get me wrong, I’m most certainly not a pacifist… But, Israel most certainly does not NEED to fight another war (desperately or otherwise)…

Hans, I fully appreciate what people who fight in war go through. However, my comments above were based on this trend of Israelis very casually supporting their enemies despite all the suicide bombings and other terror they’ve gone through.

Once you have a war going and people like the judges mentioned face an actual existential threat, they’ll stop being so theoretically anal about the rights of Israel’s enemies, and then all Israelis can seriously get down to assessing their threats.

In any case, it’s probably up to neither you nor me. The new elected legislators in Egypt are calling for their peace treaty w/ Israel to be made null and void, and the Muslim Brotherhood, which has already seized power in Egypt, is unfortunately probably close to seizing power in Syria. Once you have a single party – which is the parent organization of both Hamas and al Qaeda – controlling both Egypt and Syria, it’s a safe bet that they’ll try doing what Nasser did in 1967.

Not that I wish anything ill on anybody who’d fight this on the Israeli side, but it needs to happen in order to silence the likes of Hamas, Ikhwan and other Jihadis in the region. I quite like the situation as it is now – the Syrian civil war escalating, and hope that all the Jihadis – Shia and Sunni – send their fighters to Syria to support their respective sides.

i think israel should expel all arabs from the country and let them live among their own kind.then see how they like living with those freaks where they can murder each other with out any infidels to blame.then we in america should do the same because muslims can not be real americans and still belong to the muslim death cult.
