Mohammed Merah: Told Ya So – French Algerian Muslim Gunman Wanted to “Avenge Palestinan Children”

By Debbie Schlussel

I called it on Mohammed Merah, the Toulouse terrorist.  Sadly, some will never wake up, face facts, and call a spade a spade . . . or in this case, a Muslim a Muslim.

On Monday, I told you that the terrorist gunman who shot up the Toulouse Jewish school, Ozar HaTorah, was likely a Muslim.  I told you to disregard French and other mainstream media reports that he is a “right-wing gunman.”  Yesterday, on XM “Brett Winterble Show,” I predicted the man was a Sunni Muslim of North African origin and not at all a “right-wing” gunman follower of Jean-Marie Le Pen.  And, yet again, I was right. I nailed it. Told ya so. Not only is the man an Al-Qaeda terrorist of Algerian origins, but he was allowed to escape from a Paki prison in a Taliban prison break, after he was imprisoned there for planting bombs. Yup, sounds like a “Le Pen right-wing gunman,” huh?

islamiccrescent.jpg

The man, named as Mohammed Merah, 23, a Frenchman of Algerian origin, has said he belongs to al-Qaeda and acted to “avenge Palestinian children”.

Police are negotiating with the man, who is still said to be armed but says he may give himself up this afternoon.

French Interior Minister Claude Gueant said the man had been tracked by French intelligence for “several years”.

Really? This is how they “track” a guy? Let him go on jihadist murder sprees throughout the country? That’s some real expert “tracking.” Inspector Clouseau Lives! Sounds just like the CIA with the 9/11 hijackers.

And note how his mother responds, by refusing to help and by siding with her Al-Qaeda son’s jihad. Think that won’t happen here? It already has. This is how Muslims act as “Western citizens.” They don’t. They side with the jihad all of the time, every time.

The suspect’s mother, who is Algerian, had been brought to the scene, but Mr Gueant said she had refused to become involved as “she had little influence on him”.

Riiiight. More like, she’s proud of her jihadist son. He’s going to paradise.

The man shot at the door after police arrived, Mr Gueant said, injuring one officer in the knee and “lightly injuring” another. . . .

Mr Gueant said the suspect had made one visit to Afghanistan and one to Pakistan.

“He claims to be a mujahideen and to belong to al-Qaeda,” Mr Gueant said.

“He wanted revenge for the Palestinian children and he also wanted to take revenge on the French army because of its foreign interventions.”

French media have linked Merah to a group called Forsane Alizza (Knights of Pride) that was banned by Mr Gueant in January.

The prison director in Kandahar, southern Afghanistan, Gulam Farooq, told the BBC that Merah was arrested in 2007 and jailed for three years for planting bombs, before escaping in a mass Taliban-led break-out in 2008.

The BBC’s Hugh Schofield in Paris says investigators report that Merah was identified because of an email message sent to his first victim about buying a scooter.

The message, sent from the suspect’s brother’s account, set up an appointment at which the soldier was killed, sources told AFP.

Like I said, I told you so. Never believe the mainstream media whenever they try to blame jihad on the “right-wing.” Now, they’ll find some other excuse to divert us from the truth, which is . . .

THIS. IS. ISLAM.

It’s not “Islamism.”  Not “radical Islam.”  Just Islam.

Let’s see what kind of justice the families of Rabbi Yonatan Sandler, his son Aryeh, age 6, and daughter, Gabriel, age 3, and Miriam Monsonego, age 8, get when this cold-blooded Muslim murderer is finally captured.

Maybe he’ll go in a blaze of glory. Like Israel, France doesn’t have the death penalty.

If he is captured and gets a life sentence – nothing much. He’ll have plenty of time to recruit others to jihad.

And the fact of the matter is, regardless of his fate, Merah has already gotten away with in qualifying for those 72 virgins Islamic terrorists adore.

What can be safely predicted is no one will associate it with the Religion Of Peace. 3,2,1…

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 12:05 pm

This is NOT news! At least, NOT TO US!

French shooting suspect was self-styled al Qaeda jihadist
Mohammed Merah, a 23-year-old man described by French authorities as a self-styled al Qaeda jihadist, has been named as the chief suspect in a series of shootings that have left seven people dead.

Debbie, I wish I can kiss you. I wonder where the trolls are that we’re accusing you of jumping the gun and saying you are an islamophobe for accusing a Muslim of doin these killings. Typical liberal leftists who skirt around the issue and make personal attacks on you. Anyway, I wish I can read French to see their lefties reaction. Somehow they will say this Muslim was a right winger because he was photographed attending a right winger meeting of sorts. Anyways, this is why I read your columns because of the lack of in depth reporting that the liberal and even faux conservative media fail to investigate.

Mario on March 21, 2012 at 12:10 pm

Any Jewish parent who sends his/her kids to a school without an armed guard, concrete barriers, a secure outer gate, and a top notch video security system is a fool. Our local synagogue has zero in the way of security. My child isn’t going to take part in Muslim target practice, I can tell you that.

adam on March 21, 2012 at 12:14 pm

I don’t agree with you, Adam. I don’t think Jews should have to live in a fortress because others make them targets.

That’s exactly the point. Its not the victim who needs to change. We need to stop incitement against Jews. Words are already the bullets long before they have ever killed any one.

I’m sick and tired of letting the perps off the hook. Aren’t you?

Let’s see if people begin doing something about anti-Semitism. I’m not holding my breath waiting for it to happen.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 12:18 pm

That’s right Mario. We all know DS’ bona fides and track record and ANYONE who doubted her initially is a fool and akin to the dopes who told the panicking passengers on the sinking Costa Concordia to “go back to their cabins”.

Because of her fine blog she gives many of us the freedom to call a terrorist a terrorist…without the wimpy equivocation.

I projectile vomit in the stupid faces of ANYONE (especially whiny, loser, concern trolls who know 99% LESS than DS) who wants us all to have love, peace and understanding for a bunch of vermin who want to takes out Jews and others the world over.

Eat it, stupid fantasyland losers. You were WRONG on telling DS and us NOT to be hasty on this spree killer terrorist and you were WRONG in her spotlighting that the WH had a hand in the Malia in Mexico article scrub.

Your credibility and intelligence (loser concern trolls) has been smashed to less than zero. LOLOL!!!

Skunky on March 21, 2012 at 12:25 pm

Yep. I figured that claiming that it was a French nationalist was as spurious as Mike Bloomberg claiming that the bombing attempt was the work of the Tea Party over healthcare. The problem: the French government knew that they were lying. They already knew who the guy was when they floated those theories. Either they were trying to manage the multicultural situation politically, or they were trying to keep the suspect from fleeing. The guy who did it, the government had been watching him for years. Again: they had been watching him for years. The French government is responsible for allowing this to happen for not getting this guy in jail or out of the country earlier, and that might be why they played the “he might be a Neo-Nazi” card.

Gerald on March 21, 2012 at 12:41 pm

The rush to accuse some conservative leaning person, regardless of whether there is any evidence or not, is simply slander. Would leftists appreciate it if they were accused of being behind various acts of anarchist violence or ecological terrorism, regardless of whether there was any connection or not? Defaming conservatives in this manner should no longer seem strange or ludicrous, but quite plainly insidious. Whenever and wherever it is possible to do so, legal action should be taken against slanderous or libelous remarks issued by officials, media outlets, and individuals. This drumbeat if left unchallenged in a serious way, could poison the general public against anyone how is not center-lefter or left in their political orientation. This would represent a great narrowing of our political system.

Worry01 on March 21, 2012 at 12:51 pm

Of course. I hear I’m a Nazi because I oppose Islam. What else is new?

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 12:55 pm

Looks like the U.S. government is partially to blame for these terrorist attacks too. Apparently the U.S. Army captured this guy in Afghanistan but let him go back to France.

http://www.canada.com/news/sent+suspect+back+France+from+Afghanistan+Prosecutor/6336824/story.html

More evidence that they knew who he was but the “possible Neo-Nazi” thing was just managing the situation (including maybe sending a false lead so he wouldn’t flee, but that CERTAINLY wasn’t Bloomberg’s motive) is that they tracked him using an IP address:

http://www.euronews.com/2012/03/21/toulouse-shootings-alleged-killer-identified-by-his-ip-address/

So, you had conservatives blamed after the Congresswoman Giffords shooting, after the attempted New York City bomb, and now this. The cumulative effect of this is more media-programmed hostility against conservatives no matter who actually gets arrested for the crime.

Gerald on March 21, 2012 at 1:09 pm

Mario and Skunky, the two of you are both correct, I would love to see those useful-idiot dhimmi trolls comeback here and try to contradict that the gunman is not a muslim, where in fact this gun is indeed a “muslim”, simple as that.

Which group of people worldwide joins forces with al-qeada, answer majority of are muslims. Now to his little sentiment by claiming that he killed those three jewish kids and the rabbi by claiming, “yadda yadda, I killed them to avenge Palestinian children yadda yadda”, as I said on my facebook page earlier on today when I posted and linked this story, Mr. Merah, the ones who are guilty of killing and doing all sorts of physical harm to Palestinian kids, Palestinian men & women are you’re co-religionist, there the ones who’s guilty of all these crimes against Palestinian people in the middle east. NOT so-called “Israeli spies”, Israeli jews, etc., it’s muslim-devout whackjobs who’s responsible for those acts of crime.

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on March 21, 2012 at 1:23 pm

You are correct Schlussel. You called it, and you were right. Next time, you should have the courage of your convictions in the articles you post, don’t hedge your bet.

My son goes to a Chabad-run school, and we have no security. We live in a very safe area. Besides, why should we (the Jews) have to live our lives in extreme paranoia? All we have to do is be armed and aware of our surroundings.

FrenchKiss on March 21, 2012 at 1:29 pm

Usually they get to keep the ‘right wing’ myth going a bit longer, until it infuses the story.

pat on March 21, 2012 at 1:30 pm

The most disturbing aspect of this story was the implication by the European Union foreign policy head that the children were not Europeans. he spoke of them as if they were Israelis. Never ‘our’ children.

pat on March 21, 2012 at 1:34 pm

Is Catherine Ashton a woman? Only her gynecologist knows for sure. But when someone like her keeps making offensive remarks, its more than just clumsiness at work. To compare what happened to the Jewish kids in Toulouse with Arab kids in Gaza is simply obscene. But there are people who do think this way and if you think the mass murder of Jews is going to wake them up, think again.

I wrote about this on the other thread last night and there is no need to repeat my views here.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 2:52 pm

With all respect DS, but tell me something that I don’t already know.

These thugs have been doing this for DECADES under various guises. It’s just that this person has decided to externalize in a much bigger way.

But you will have to go through centuries of kiss-and-make-up between Western Civilization and the Caliphate to make sense of what’s happening now.

DeGaulle should’ve never bargained with those terrorists and given away Algeria. Et voilà!

As I noted, France doesn’t have the death penalty. It abolished the guillotine in 1981. Too bad cuz Mohammed Merah would have been the perfect candidate to have his head separated from the rest of his body. Some people are that evil even prison isn’t a secure enough place to hold them.

Then again when it comes to murder, I am definitely a retentionist.

Debbie nails it again!! It looks like it is time for France to once again surrender to the muzzies. They should change their national flag to the back up flag they always use when they hit hard times – a big ole White Flag with nothing on it. When will those cheese-eating-surrender-monkeys learn that they can’t keep on letting in all of those third world pigs? Never is my guess.

There’s a place that sells mint condition French military weapons and there are lots in stock. Perhaps they can arm their law abiding natural born citizens with them. They have never been fired and only dropped once – they are just collected after every battle that the French engage in.

an islamic terrorist

or some other kind of terrorist

except michael coren of canadas sun news – he immediately said “cut the crap of course a muslim did this”

btw- they also kill arab soldiers who wanted to join iraq of afghanshit’s army.

Seek on March 21, 2012 at 3:03 pm

Well knock me over with a feather. While the dominant media contrived every which way to will this recent atrocity in any direction other than Islam, it was here–and only here–I heard expressed the most historically based reasoned deduction. Yes, deduction, more than conjecture when considering Islam’s M.O. Who else kills in such a way? Overcoming an eight year old child and shooting her in the face after doing the same to the others.
While the “respected” media busied themselves with their wishes giving birth to their abortion worthy thoughts, D.S. was speaking truth–no matter how distasteful to the media giants. What courage. What commitment to speaking up where lesser, even honorable, people are reticent. I’m admitting, here, I felt squeamish while reading yesterday’s posting. I feared Debbie might have been premature in her assessment; I thought she might be going out too far on the limb that early on and could end up, in this instance, wide open for the shameless bashing from the usual crowd–in and out of the media.
It’s an old story. The wise ones are mocked and shunned by the so called conventional wisdom while the appeasers and willfully lame ones are hailed. The tellers of the unwanted truth aren’t allowed a single mistake. The mistakes of the consistently foolish? Who but a handful of us are counting?
One question to close: Is there any hope for a cure?

lee, of the lower case "l" on March 21, 2012 at 3:17 pm

Lower Case lee, your post was awesome! Out of the park and I urge all smart souls to read it.

As for me, I am humble when it comes to knowing if someone knows more than me and is smarter than me and that is DS. That is why I am never shy about giving her earned kudos and I am humble enough to know I can LEARN from her.

I first heard her on Howard Stern and I was so impressed. I loved when they had her on. Now I don’t have time for Howard Stern and would rather learn about these very serious political issues.

    Great job lee!

Skunky on March 21, 2012 at 6:51 pm

@ Skunky: I especially appreciate your kind words since I find your posts so refreshing for their take no prisoners approach. No tiptoeing around for you when answering truth’s induction notice. So often I’m left feeling that you’ve picked up my tab for me.

lee, of the lower case "l" on March 21, 2012 at 8:06 pm

Thanks Skunky, I should also include you with Debbie as women that I would love to meet. Both you seem to be solid in the threat that Islam is presenting yet I am sad to say that most of the women I meet here (ultra left San Francisco Bay Area) still think that Rick Santorum or any Christian conservative that is religious is more of a threat to us than Al-Qaeda. I can not believe these women, even though there is a large sizeable community of Afghanis in the city of Fremont, I hear more criticism and outright hostility of the US troops being there from both American and Afghani women.

I could go on further about how the women in this area where I live act like those found in that Sex and the City but Debbie has done a good job about the role reversal of men and women that is insidiously occurring as we speak.

Now about this terrorist, I read at another Debbie’s article that this assh**le was in US custody but released to the French since this terrorist had French citizenship. I hope this will be a wake up call about how the muslims living in France are a threat especially the Jews that live there.

I have found myself many times arguing with the leftists and have even been kicked out of some of these businesses because of my views. I respect the business owners (biggest contradiction in terms-leftists that are business owners) who respectfully and kindly tell me not to return since the majority of their clientele do not like or want to hear my views.

Anyways, nice to read there are women that are not afraid to speak their mind and not try to follow the trend of political correctness like those of THE VIEW.

Mario on March 21, 2012 at 9:07 pm

@Mario:

I have a suspicion that you have wanted to kiss Ms. Schlussel before this incident 🙂 Just kidding. (Not really.)

@JeffT:

“The World media operates according to the same template. It’s always a right-wing nut, until it’s not. Just the way it is.”

It is more accurate so say that the world media is conditioning people to believe that it is a right-wing nut even when it isn’t. Some folks in the fundamentalist Christian community (of which I am a part) have been onto this for years. Terrorist Muslims are called “fundamentalist Muslims.” (And I noticed in the British papers that they were called “conservative Muslims.”) Muslims who publicly renounce terrorism are called “moderate Muslims” and “liberal Muslims.” That is just part one. Fundamentalist or evangelical Christians (as well as conservative Jews, and conservatives in general) are often accused of being really no different than the Taliban, and that America would be just like those regimes if religious conservatives ever got in charge.

Now in America, which had a very high level of religious observance until this most recent generation, and still has a large Christian population, no one – or at least no one above a certain age – takes it seriously. But in Europe and other places that are extremely secular and church attendance has been miniscule for decades, they honestly do believe that there is little difference between an Al Qaeda member, a Southern Baptist and a member of the haredim. And multiculturalism makes it a lot easier, because all they learn about is the Crusades, lynchings, slavery (not Muslim slavery though, just that done by the west) and colonialism.

Keep in mind: no matter how many terror attacks the Muslims commit, the media will always attempt to shield them from “Islamaphobia.” So they can bomb, shoot and kill away and suffer no harm to their public image. (As a matter of fact the converse may be true: would there be a Ground Zero mosque or the TV show “All American Muslim” had it not been for September 11th? Similar to AIDS with the homosexual community, September 11th wound up being the best thing for Muslim public relations in American history.) So, Muslim terror attacks will actually result in more people believing that conservatives – especially Christian and Jewish religious conservatives – are violent, and – as the west becomes more secular – hating and fearing them as a result.

And don’t think that the Muslims don’t know this. As a matter of fact, it is part of their plan. The reason is that fundamentalist Christians and conservative religious Jews are the main source of opposition to Islam left in the west. So, if they can help discredit that opposition by committing terrorism AND working the multiculturalism/political correctness angle, it is two birds with one stone.

Gerald on March 21, 2012 at 3:42 pm

Thought for today:

After reading the headlines about the US soldier who shot up Afghanistan civilians, I couldn’t help noticing an irony. There is all this clamor to try this guy quickly and execute him, never mind his having suffered a traumatic brain injury. Yet this Major Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood while screaming Allah akbar, still hasn’t stood trial, and they are still debating whether he was insane, even with the clear evidence regarding his motive: slay as many infidels as possible. So we have a guy in a war zone who cracks, and he must be executed immediately. But this Muslim psychiatrist who was stateside in a nice safe office all day murders 13, wounds 29 of our own guys, and they try to argue the poor lad suffered post-traumatic stress syndrome, from listening to real soldiers who had actual battle experience. Two and a half years later, they still haven’t tried the murderous man.

Not a whimper from the politicians and the media seem to be more interested in the ‘underoo’ world of politicians than real substance whilst Muslims get away with murder.

Eyes Wide Open on March 21, 2012 at 3:47 pm

Yeah – we’re trying to decide if the Islamic terrorist from Ft. Hood is competent to even stand trial.

But we know well enough a soldier from Afghanistan who allegedly killed several civilians there isn’t deserving of such exacting consideration.

Put another way, none too crudely, its another sign of our being habituated to being submissive to Islam.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 4:10 pm

Hollywood, from what I read, they get re-virginized.

On the Paris shooting, Norman is right – they have no death penalty.

So why don’t they do this – hand him over to Qatar as a part of the Taliban prisoner exchange program, where the Taliban gets back its Club Gitmo al Qaeda affiliates. Let him find his way back to Afghanistan, and then rest assured he’ll be killed either by NATO troops – since he’s bound to return to action – or by rival militias.

On his id, I don’t think Debbie is a genius for calling it right – I mean, who seriously could have thunk that anyone other than a Mohammedan would have done this?

Infidel on March 21, 2012 at 4:01 pm

The murderer is named Mohammed? Predictable, indeed. Also, equally predictable is the reaction from the Muslim community and its leaders to the murders by this Muslim: shame? outrage? sorrow? sadness? condemnadation? Nope. Zilch, nada, nothing, ugatz! And nobody is even questioning the failure to even lie about how “sorry” the Muslims are, or what that failure really means. Such cowards!

Here’s a sample of some comments from various individuals/representatives, whether heart-felt or feigned:

• France – The attacks were condemned by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and French presidential candidate Francois Hollande. Sarkozy, Hollande, and French Prime Minister Francois Fillon all attended a service at the Grand Synagogue of Paris. President Nicolas Sarkozy said that it was obvious that it was an anti-Semitic attack and pledged to meet Jewish and Muslim community leaders. He said, “I want to say to all the leaders of the Jewish community, how close we feel to them. All of France is by their side.” Sarkozy also sent his condolences to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the loss.

• Norway – Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg sendt a letter to the French Prime Minister Francois Fillon, condemned the attacks and expressed his sorrow and sympathy with the relatives and the French people. Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said “It is with dismay that I have received news of several killings of civilians and soldiers in France. Norway supports France’s struggle against racism, antisemitism and all forms of hate crime. It makes extra painful to think that more children have been exposed to the worst imaginable.”

• Israel – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, condemned the “despicable anti-Semitic” murders, and lashed out at the UN Human Rights Council which met, on the same day as the killings, with representatives of the terrorist organization Hamas. Netanyahu said, “What do you (UN Human Rights Council) know of human rights? You should be ashamed of yourself!”

• Israel – Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said,” Only a person of Satanic evil can commit such a horrific murder of small children in a school.”

• Vatican City – Official spokesperson of the Vatican, the Rev. Fr. Federico Lombardi, S.J., said the March 19 shooting was “a horrible and shameful act”.

• United States – At the White House Press Office, U.S. President Barack Obama’s United States National Security Council spokesperson Tommy Vietor, in an official statement, said: “We were deeply saddened to learn of the horrific attack this morning against the teachers and students of a Jewish school in the French city of Toulouse. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the victims, and we stand with a community in grief. We join the Government of France in condemning this unprovoked and outrageous act of violence in the strongest possible terms.”

• EU – The European Union’s High Representative, Baroness Ashton, said that “When we think about what happened today in Toulouse, we remember what happened in Norway a year ago, when we know what is happening in Syria, and we see what is happening in Gaza and in different parts of the world – we remember young people and children who lose their lives.” Israeli ministers harshly criticised her comparison of the murder of three children and a rabbi in the shooting attack to the situation in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “It is unthinkable to compare a massacre and the Israeli army’s surgical, defensive actions against those who use children as human shields.” Lady Ashton said that the press reporting of her speech made to Palestinian youths at an UNRWA event was “grossly distorted”.

Gabriel Sandler was named in honor of Gabriel Rosenberg, another child slaughtered by Islamic terrorists in Mumbai.

Its like a straight arrow. Nothing in this world happens by happenstance, fortuitous chance or coincidence. We like to think that we are tied to someone we don’t know or are not related to.

That is quite true. I’ve seen the video of the funeral. I couldn’t stop crying and you could feel the sorrow in the air. But you could also feel the brotherhood, the solidarity, the strength that people found within themselves that gave them hope.

We’ll remember that in the days, months and years to come. Israel’s enemies may love death and think that with killing Jews they have destroyed families and undermined the Jewish nation but in truth, they have shown that love of life, kindness and mercy are stronger than all the evil they do. They may kill the body but they can never destroy the spirit. And Rabbi Sandler, zt”l, Gabriel and Aryeh and Miriam Mosonego, they will live on through us and in our deeds.

All my tears and that of others are a reflection of this truth. And the families will know as I have that while the void in lives created by loss will never go away, the love of G-d is forever!

Amen

For all you Johnny Come Latelys that NOW get what DS has said welcome aboard. It’s about effing time.

And now you can’t STOP doing your research. You also must help spread the word. DS has a lot of credibility and knows her stuff. The fact alone (like Michael Savage) she gets blacklisted by lesser thans PROVES that she is willing to say the TRUTH and throws PC crap out of the window. We desperately need MORE of that!

All that being said though, you have arrived late. The evidence was there all along for you to see and you kept making excuses or were a slave to PC sesibilities. You MUST look into that and hone your acumen better NOW that you have seen the light.

(Con Chef…your handle was stolen by the sad know-nothing troll on the Malia in Mexico thread. I think cowards who steal other’s handles should be banned from this sight because not only can’t they dismantle the opposing argument, they steal identities and make the REAL person’s IQ drop to single digits.)

Everyone was “told so” ages ago….

“As European Union Suppresses Report on antisemitic Violence…

What do the EU, George Bush and Malaysian PM Mahathir have in Common?

(Could it be they’re all pushing the politics of antisemitism?)

Our military knew about the radicalization of Major Nidal Hasan far, far before he murdered over a dozen of innocent Americans and wounded another 39. And, yet, no one bothered to remove him from the military.
In this case, the French said they’d been following this cut throat for years. It’s history repeating itself, but with deadly consequences for innocents.

Ah, what a beautiful thing to sit down to: a troll free comment thread.

Its hard for even the vilest people to defend the murder of little children.

There are limits to justifying the depths of human hatred – or should be.

Schlussel is 100% on target and more importantly she points out the root cause – Islam itself. Only once people understand the diktats and history of Islam and then the nature of Islam’s followers, Darwinianly perfected through centuries of breeding, will we begin to win this war against Islam and those followers.

Schlussel is at the leading edge of this war, the front line. Recommend her to everyone you know. She’s always a worthy read, and with equal importance regarding the influences on our culture.

Schlussel leaves the mainstream media in the dust.

Interesting that the PLO are disassociating themselves from this tragedy, stating they do not support terrorist actions such as this, probably motivated by the killings taking place on French soil where I presume they have an embassy. If it took place on Israeli soil I doubt highly they would show reaction whatsoever.
The French I believe are more infuriated that they lost three of their servicemen not in Afghanistan but here at home. So now they too have tasted what Israel experiences on a daily basis.
I hope the words of the statements of sympathy and the call to end anti-semitic attacks in France by her prime minister will not ring as hollow as the words spoken after 911.
The way I look at it the reason there is no hope for a Palistinian solution is that since Hamas and Hizbollah and now the Muslim Brotherhood and Khommeini have all chimed in for the total anihilation of Israel there is no turning back for them. In other words to use the same expression Bush used, the PLO has been “hijacked” and really is no longer in control, if it has ever been in control in the first place.

The “news” coverage of this incident is beyond belief.

I listened to NPR this morning (“Morning Edition”), and the incident was described as a French stand-off with a generic “gunman.” He was described not as a Muslim or as Islamic — neither term was mentioned in several reports during the show — but as a “French serial killer” (as if he were the Gallic Hannibal Lecter), who had “killed three children” (the fact that this occurred in the course of an attack on a Jewish School and that a rabbi was also killed — not just three JEWISH children — apparently was not important enough to explain).

Terrorism was not mentioned, except to say that the guman, who was an Arab, Islamc, and boasted of his Al-Queda ties and of getting terrorism training in trips to Afghanistan and Pakistan, was reported to have “alleged ties to terrorism.”

If we have gotten to the point where we cannot describe the terrorist background of a gunman (who boasts of it), except to reference vague “alleged ties to terrorism” as if the matter remains in doubt, then we are losing the supposed “War on Terrorism.” I suppose that Islam was also not worth mentioning, even in the case of an Islamic gunman who admitted that he killed for an overtly Muslim motive (to avenge killed Palestinian children). Are we suicidally “politically correct” or have we been intimidated by Islam,”The Relicion of Peace”(TM)?

I also wonder on an aspect that the news coverage mentioned, but did not explain. The police were said to have asked his mother to come to the scene and talk to him (obviously, in hopes that she could persuade him to surrender peacefully), but she refused. Why was never explained.

Did she refuse because he was a Shahid carrying out a sacred mission and should not be distracted?

Did she refuse because she knew that he would be honored as a “martyr” in the Muslim community if he died?

Did she refuse because she had a policy of non-cooperation with infidel authorities?

Did she refuse because she AGREED with his mission?

The “news” media, which is supposed to be in the business of gathering facts, never made an attempt to tell us, only telling us that she refused.

How can we withstand Islam’s attacks when we refuse to acknowledge that Islam is attacking us?

I guess I posted a day too soon. Yesterday I suggested that the Libtards go soak their heads, because Debbie was right in designating a Muslim Radical as the shooter. Today the libs should be eating their Humble Pie, but they’re too stupid to learn the truth.

I don’t think I should even be giving this sort of stupidity my time or energy but i just have two questions for you retarded idiots.

1) Why is the death of these jewish zionists, who feel nothing but pity for themselves as a race, any more important than the outright murder of muslim children in Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan (need I go on)?

You people are in an uproar over the acts of a few individuals and groups and yet you continue to ignore the injustices committed by your own governments and nations.

2) Why is it the responsibility of the muslim community to apologies for the acts of a single man whilst militant governments in Israel and America commit crimes against humanity with no repercussions due to the sheer inefficacy of the UN?

I dread to think of a future in a world where radical behavior is counteracted by even more negative and extreme responses such as those of this pathetic writer.

To the writer: Do you not think that choosing to tar all muslims with the same brush will simply make them even angrier and justify their violent behavior due to the fact that you insinuate in all your articles that all muslims are terrorists by nature?

I shudder to think that these comments with such blatant disrespect and laughable stupidity are even allowed to enter the public domain.
