Jihad: Shooter in Hollywood Rampage Yelled “allahu Akbar” – Terrorist Attack

By Debbie Schlussel

As you’ve probably heard, today, a man went on a shooting rampage in Hollywood, shooting randomly at several vehicles and people at Sunset and Vine.  At least one person–and maybe two–were shot and wounded.  But what you probably didn’t read in most of the press coverage is that witnesses say the man shouted, “allahu akbar,” the Islamic chant that allah is “the greatest” or “greater” (as in greater than your or my G-d).  Watch this video, below, and watch what the witness says at about 2:44 into the video).  Thanks to James Parker of New Orleans’ WRNO-FM’s “The James Show” for the tip (and listen to me on the show, every Saturday Night at 7:00 p.m. Eastern).

Hollywood Rampage Shooter Tyler Brehm Shouted “allahu Akbar”
The shooter is identified as Tyler Brehm, age 26, and–as is typical for the mainstream media–they are not mentioning any of the Islam stuff. Instead, the media blames it on pills and a break-up with a girlfriend. Yup, I’m sure the “allahu akbar” the witness heard was, ya know, just for the heck of it. Right?

BTW, Brehm’s victim was John Atterberry, pictured below with former Vice President Dick Cheney. Since he’s apparently a Black Republican, he’s disposable to liberals.

Well, since the Fort Hood terrorist attack was listed by the current administration as “workplace violence” then this was just a case of a mentally ill man requesting suicide by police. That is all. Move along, nothing to see here.

We have slipped into some strange parallel dimension where Reality shall not be spoken of, instead, we have Perceived Reality, and how dare you question Them!

I want my real, non – PC country back. NOW!

MSM really quiet on this, blaming a ‘hispanic’. i guess Mexicans do to rate as high on the ‘protect’ list as Muslims.

Expect the video to be edited or removed.

No one wants to see the Islamic angle. If any other stuff comes up at the guy’s home that reveals a connection, it won’t be reported either.

It may have been just for the heck of it or it could be more than a random shooting.

What it does reveal is liberals like the jihadist aspect of Islam.

“Expect the video to be edited or removed.”

Hopefully, neither, but if so, then in this case it would be removed.

      Why do I say this?

Because if one clicks on the youtube video to watch it on Youtube itself, one will find that the uploader of this video is (drumroll please) …..

…none other than our own Debbie. And there is no way that she will edit this video or allow it to be edited under any circumstances, whereas Youtube could remove it regardless of Debbie’s wishes.

Tyler Brehm? That’s not a typical Islamic name.

Unless he’s a recent convert?

NormanF on December 11, 2011 at 1:05 am

“Tyler Brehm? That’s not a typical Islamic name.

Unless he’s a recent convert?”

Might be Norman, might be? Anyway what this guy did on saturday was a terrorist act, hell, he even chanted “Allahu Akbar”, he didn’t chant “Jesus is the greatest”!

Now expect the dhimmi’s who are apologist for islam to troll on this blog (just like the Rima Fakih drunk driving incident from last week, where a few trolls made asses of themselves by shilling and bidding for islam) and claim, “yadda yadda don’t blame the religion, blame the guys act, leave religion out of it yadda yadda”. Uh-huh, don’t blame religion you say Mr. & Ms. Dhimmi, then how come this guy yelled “Allahu Akbar” you imbecile? Since Mr. Brehm yelled a religious chant, so what does that tell you Mr. and Ms. Dhimmi!

The other aspect of it that should be mentioned is how protective the Left is of Islam.

We constantly hear controversy, heck even negative stuff reported about Christianity.

But its gloves off the ROP. When incidents like this happen, they are explained away or get whitewashed.

As I said, there are questions surrounding this shooting which needs to be answered. My guess is we won’t get the answers we deserve if they turn out to be politically incorrect.

In that case, it’ll be dismissed as another case of senseless street violence. Until next time.

You have YouTube account? Subscribe to Debbie’s channel. I did.

The Reverend Jacques on December 11, 2011 at 4:19 am

I have a YouTube account.

I should clarify I meant the MSM will redact the video to show Islam in the most favorable light.

There are things we cannot even talk about openly and we like to consider ourselves a free country.

Our political life is just stage-managed somewhat differently from the Russians.

And I don’t see us having the ability to really change things.
Ruchnoe upravlenie – there are lies, there is no real truth and society hasn’t awakened to the danger.

NormanF on December 11, 2011 at 4:28 am

I hope Mr. Atterberry is able to recover fully form his wounds. This incident is typical of what I’ve figured wouild come up actually a few years gone by now. But our military has been tying up terrorists in the Middle East. With the pull out from Iraq, and given time, they’ve found enough nut jobs here in this country to convert to their barbarism and send them on their suicide attacks.

“Major” Hassan, now this cook plus the several other dingleberries that have done attacks on citizens or military in the country in the name of Islam.

Maybe Caolifornia will get wise and start issuing CCW permits to the law abiding citizens so they can defend themselves. Well, one would hope, but probably not – they are disposable to liberals as well.

this whole we hate islam thing and why can`t america smarten up is hilarious…

thanks to judeo-christian fundamentalist here.. our nation is in peril… take your little religious fanatic crap out of our politics…. being allies with isreal is not my primary concern… its not antisemetic to say or feel this… my primary concern is AMERICA!! and that does not have to include Israel… the fact that our canditates have to debate this consistently is the reason why the liberals will win…. its quite simple.. think about it..

edf on December 11, 2011 at 8:39 am

Hey “effed”, so you do NOT believe that Islam is a threat to the WHOLE WORLD (in fact, you don’t think we should hate Moooooslims) and you also don’t give a fig about Israel…the only TRUE Democracy in the ME.

BUUUUUUUT we are not to believe that you’re anti-semitic?

You are either that, a dhimmi, a Moooooooslim or a Ron Paul supporter. Or all of the above.

Skunky on December 11, 2011 at 12:20 pm

Hey edf (or Skunky called you effed), if you don’t think that islam is a threat to society in general, than you are delusional and stupid as they come. As for Israel, they are the ONLY liberal-democracy in the middle east, name me one muslim or arabic country in the middle east that’s a democracy? And do you EVEN know what islam stands for and represents? Either you’re a dhimmi, a muslim or either a Ron Paul supporter, Pat Buchanan fan or Stormfront poster trying you’re very best to convince us all with you’re inane stupidity?

I have not even heard of this attack! All they have reported is how Newt is evil for stating the truth about the Palestinians.

Jonathan E. Grant on December 11, 2011 at 11:04 am

Jon, this adds to my feeling that things are not going to change much no matter who wins the White House next year.

In fact, I expect them to get worse.

NormanF on December 11, 2011 at 3:58 pm

That’s why I love this site, thank you Debbie.
I did, however, catch the Allahu Akbar angle, but the connection to Dick Cheney with John Atterberry is news to me, and even more evidence of PC mid-stream media.
I wonder what they would do if he were a democrat.
Hmm.

In unrelated news (or maybe not), Lowe’s has pulled its advertising from TLC’s All American Muslim.
I think I’m going to go there today and buy something that I really don’t need.

Go to http://www.facebook.com/lowes?sk=wall and post your support for Lowes in their decision to cancel their ad dollers for “All american Muslim” on TLC

Wolf, I happen to have a facebook account and I’ll look into that link you copied here on Debbie’s blogsite. So thanks bro for the heads up!

I’m grateful for Newt’s statement.

I was also grateful for Barack O’Bama’s statement that “Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel and it must remain undivided.” (June 4, 2008 at the AIPAC Policy Conference in which I was in attendance.)

At the end of the day, it’s not what candidates say. It’s what they do. Campaign promises are not binding contracts.

There is no reason to support New Gingrich for President based on his latest statement about “Palestinians”. I don’t care about Grover Norquist or anybody/anything else.

The big picture is whether Newt is part of the Saudi petrochemical lobby. I’ve never seen evidence to suggest that he isn’t. His support of cap-and-trade and “global warming” legislation suggests he is a member of Team-Saudi. If Newt is unwilling to totally unleash America’s vast energy assets (mostly coal) to compete with petroleum, he can’t be the “great friend of Israel” he’d like us to believe. It’s just that simple.

While you weren’t watching (or noticing) Rep. Allan West co-sponsored the Open Fuels Standard Act. If Newt endorses this key piece of legislation, I’ll give him a 2nd look. Until then, he’s just another GOP candidate and I’ll wait-and-see who I vote for when the primaries come to Michigan.

I suppose that if I had a choice between Gingrich and O’Bama, I’d choose Gingrich… but I wouldn’t have any great hopes for improvement in America’s support for Israel based on what he’s said. He’ll have to prove himself in deeds. President O’Bama made glowing promises of support for Israel on the campaign trail and betrayed them within 3 months of taking office. There’s no reason to believe Newt Gingrich will perform any better if he becomes President.

Just read on Google News feed that John Atterberry has died. How very sad. At least the shooter is getting his just desserts in hell, and has been, instead of being pampered and cared for as a ward of the State. R.I.P. Mr Atterberry, the latest victim of terrorism in America.

Disgusted with Media on December 12, 2011 at 11:04 pm

Wow, this is one hell of a scary website. It’s funny what delusion and confidence creates….unfortunately not funny enough for people to see past this whole tit-for-tat mentality.

You people are truly scary, and ironically enough, as scary as the terrorists you purport to hate so much.
