I would say that those children should be removed from her care and placed in foster homes. Building up a herd like that while on public assistance is on its face child abuse. If possible, she should be pursued through the criminal justice system. I look upon this as a case of gross child neglect.

Debbie, I’ve seen this story make the rounds on Facebook and various Websites, and she is being ridiculed by EVERYBODY, White, Black and whatever. In no one’s world is having 15 kids out of wedlock and then demanding assistance viewed as “good”, unless you have the lowest of the low underclass mentality.

This woman is wrong on so many levels that I don’t even know where to begin. And as a Black American, this kind of story is an embarrassment and shameful (not that I bear any responsibility for her plight, but ALL Blacks will be lumped together with her actions, so I gotta take the punch). I feel very badly for her kids, especially them having to grow up with the Section 8 heaux of a mother they have. And unfortunately, unless there is some serious intervention, both Divine and human, this cycle could continue with her kids also….

I think the first way “the system” failed this woman is by being set up to financially incent her to have had the very first child without having the means to support it. Ever since the 1960’s and Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society the liberals in this country have developed larger and larger systems that promote promiscuity and illegitimacy. “The System” is set up to reward women who have children outside of marriage, and to penalize women who get married with higher taxes. Let me give another example:

My niece is a college student in Michigan. She met with the financial aid counselor at her college and was informed that as a single, childless, self-supporting student, there was no aid available, other than student loans. HOWEVER, if she had an illegitimate child, the state of Michigan would not only pay her tuition, but they would also provide a variety of programs through which my niece could get an apartment paid for and food stamps provided so she could get her college education. All she would have to do is get knocked up and keep the baby with no means to support it financially. I am pleased to report that my niece decided to get a full-time job and take classes at night instead. She thought having a baby was kind of extreme just to get free tuition…

When I make this argument with liberals they always argue that welfare doesn’t really provide that much money and it does not incent anyone to have children they can’t afford. Except for the fact that in the past 45 – 50 years we have produced 4 – 5 GENERATIONS of welfare families with single teenaged mothers having multiple children and NEVER marrying any of the baby daddies. If you marry the baby daddy “the system” cuts off your money. We now have several GENERATIONS of women who not only have never worked, but they don’t even KNOW anyone who has ever worked. They just live in the crappy housing with the meager AFDC payments the government provides. It may not be enough money for you and me, but it sure as heck seems to be enough for people like Angel Adams.

This is just SAD. One must remember that all those children under the age of 18, the taxpayers are paying for this woman’s irresponsibility. The victims are the children who have learn that if your a male, you can get a woman pregnant and not care what happens to the children. If your female, it means getting pregnant, and asking the, no DEMAND, the state pay you for giving birth and then go on tv saying that what little Social Services is “paying” you. The real tragedy is that she is not an isolated case in the sense that there are plenty of single moms that are in the taxpayer dole. Maybe they do not have 12 children but 3 or 4 is not cheap either.

This is a very bad situation yes but children are never ‘illegitimate’ or ‘bastards’..what is worse a couple having a child outside of marriage or yanking the baby from an unwed mother and sending the child off to a religion based orphanage or distant relative? That was a common occurance in western societies in the not to distant past…what if a couple goes before a mayor and has a civil marriage with no mention of god? Is the child born to that couple ‘illegitemate”? Coupling customs have varied culture to culture-generation to generation…..

Giving assistance to someone in a bad situation to get an education that would help pull them out of their current situation, or pulling it all away and condemning them to a life of poverty and minimum wage? Yes, the obvious answer in a perfect world would be to not have a kid you can’t support, but the world isn’t perfect and accidents happen. Just because your niece hasn’t had a condom break yet just means she’s been lucky so far. Also, your example doesn’t fit the preconceived notion of a welfare state, since the incentive to get a collage education, and thus qualify for a higher paying job and improve ones station in life flies in the face of this whole argument of generations of people on welfare.

What would be more productive is a way to wean people off of assistance, rather than cut them off entirely. Cutting any and all assistance would only increase the poverty gap and open us up to another Great Depression.

Starving kids all over the world would kill to look as starved and destitute as her baby checks. A friend of mine works at welfare. He tells all kinds of stories how when he goes to visit homes how the “parents” try to dirty it up to get more money. They even dent the can goods in the cupboard and throw trash around to make it look worse because they think it will get them more money.

The other scam is the family member takes foster custody, then they get a foster care check, welfare check, food stamps, free rent and utilities and wic. ka-ching.

So every bastard child gets her more money and food stamps but if your in the military you get no extra for your kids. The people who volunteer to put their life on the line for our Nation get one dependent check increase when they get married. Have a kid, no increase but hey at least you can get the tax deduction. While these slugs of society just get to live it up on our dime.

I have been advocating the complete and total elimination of the Aid to Dependent Children Act; it only encourages whorish behavior which lead to illegitimate children, aka bastards. Black out of wedlock birth was 25% in 1960; with the advent of the increase in welfare payments, migration to Northern states where welfare payments are greatest, this rate has skyrocketed to over 75%.

I am not picking on black people; whites are catching up in this area. However, the statistics are strongest for the black community, as there have been so many civil rights studies performed over the years.

If you can have children, you can work; if you want welfare, your tubes should be tied before you even stand in line to apply for the checks.

As you and Rush Limbaugh have pointed out for so many years that it is not only the Brokerage Houses and the Mortgage Companies that get a ton of free lunches from the United States Government, it runs all the way down to the men and women who are worth 5 cents (Paul Kersey) expression.

I am convinced that we as a country will go bankrupt under the present system. We do not have the industrialization in this country to take us 10 years ahead.

Needless to say, the vast majority of these welfare babies will be involved in crime to support themselves. I definitely foresee a call to arms from people who want to protect themselves from the Undetow. At the 2:33 mark I had to stop listening to this crap the mother was spewing. She was quite adamant in saying…”someone has to pay for all this.” she was moving her arms around pointing to the kids. Whatever happened to being accountable and responsible for your own actions. Why does she feel this entitlement that she’s owed something from other and/or the city/state. As much as I love America, we need to have some sort of “real” welfare reform in place. I am no liberal by any means. I do believe that when someone needs a helping hand in getting back on their feet again, is fine with me. But people need to use these social programs only when absolutely necessary and only as a temporary means to get back to being self-sustaining.

I was taught to not live beyond my means. As well as, you don’t have a bunch of kids when you can’t afford it. And the Dept of Children and Families (DCF), should remove these kids from the mothers care. Instead the mother (if you want to call her that) has the never to blame DCF for not helping or providing for her. People like this make me sick. I bust my butt every day to provide for my family. Don’t get me wrong I am not complaining. I truly am in love with my wife and two kids. And there isnt anything I wouldnt do as long as it’s legal to provide an adequate life for them. I sincerely believe people should have to take some sort of IQ and compentency test before breeding. Hence a lot of these problems wouldn’t exist. Wow, this nation is and has gone down hill real fast.

What’s amazing is that the thought the SHE and her baby daddy’s are responsible for those kids is a completely alien concept.

She is taking people’s charity and bitching about it. This isn’t a racist issue either–go into the hills of Kentucky and you’ll find her white counterpart or go to LA and you’ll find her latino counterpart.

This just shows that the Great Society has been a horrible massive failure. Personally, in situations like this, BOTH parents should be sterilized and kicked off all assistance. The States need to end the joke Foster care system and open large orphanages that are massively regulated and monitored. There the kids will be taught correctly and grow up to be responsible productive adults if they aren’t adopted during that time.

If that was done and people figured out that there is no check or free ride for being a bum and knocking out kids, that behavior would end quickly.
